So save your comments because I'm not gonna be responding to it. I've got some things I need to share. I know some of them didn't like the way I talked about the mega ministry and all of those types of things. But if you didn't like that, you're definitely not gonna like this because there's more, because God put some more things on my heart that I came to share with you today about how the day of mega ministry, as it's been previously constructed, I believe is over. That we are in a new time, a new season, a new mode. There's a new kingdom world order that God is bringing. I'm gonna talk about that today. So if you're offended before, prepare to be offended, part two, because that is gonna be coming your way. But we're gonna talk about how the day of mega ministry, as we have known it, is over. It's time for a new day, a new season, and a new time. I believe there's a new kingdom world order that God is bringing back to the body of Christ that's more beautiful than ever before. It's gonna be things to keep you on the straight and the narrow. It's gonna cause you to have oil in your lamp, love in your heart, send 11 out of your life. It's gonna be anointed and it's gonna be on time and it's gonna encourage you. It's gonna uplift you. You're gonna sense the presence of God and it's gonna keep you focused on what the most important things are. And that's why dimensions exist. So thank you all so much for your support of us and uh for what you're doing. My wife's gonna be joining me in the days and weeks to come more often. Uh, we've got a lot of new things that we're gonna be implementing, and we hope that you'll be a part of those things with us. You know, I did something a little bit ago, and I talked about how the day of Megazor. But before I get in, I'm sorry. I'm sorry, forgive me. I do have a couple of things I do need to mention. Number one, this is Friday. This Sunday, March 1st, 10 a.m., we have a friends and family service at another level ministries, 10 a.m. 605 Thompson Run Road in the North Hills area. Zip code 15237 if you're throwing that into your GPS. Come and see us. And listen, we believe in the supernatural. And every person that calls in, you can see there's a QR code there or you can text the word pray for me, uh, all one line, all one word, if you will, to 412-586-7159. And we're gonna be praying for every prayer request. Thank you for all of you that have already, you've inboxed us um on our uh Facebook page on another level ministries. You can also go ahead and text that word, pray for me, to 412-586-7159. And we'll be praying for every request live this Sunday at 10 a.m. If you can make it to the house, come on out. My wife and I, we have a word from God already about how I believe you are positioned for breakthrough. That this is a pivotal point and moment in time that God is gonna break you through, that you are stepping out of one season into another. You're going from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord, and you are going to be blessed. So don't miss it. And if you can't make it in person, let us know your prayer requests. We will be praying for them live, one at a time. I will call your name out, your request out, and we're gonna be interceding just for you. So I don't care who you are. If you want it anonymous, you could say, don't read my name, but pray for my. And I will say we have an anonymous caller, we have an anonymous texture, however it is that came in, and we're gonna pray for every single need. And we're gonna believe God for breakthrough because he loves you, he cares about you. There's gonna be great breakthroughs that are gonna happen. So that's this weekend at 10 a.m. And then also it's coming in March. March, I believe it is the 21st. We'll be starting our first class, another level Bible Institute. We've got two great classes that are coming. One is called the Overview of the Bible. It gives you a total historical understanding and uh a realization of the Bible and the why they were written. And it just, it's an overview of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, the authors, the writers, what you can expect out of it, how they're broken down, the poetic books, the minor prophets, the major prophets, the gospels, the pastoral epistles. It goes through everything to really give you an understanding of the Bible. And then the other class is going to be comparative religions. So you're not going to want to miss that every, I mean, I'm talking about Jehovah's Witness, Seventh-day Adventist, um, Hindu, uh, I mean, you name it, all the different things and how they uh uh contrast with the Christian faith. So you can give an apologetic uh answer for why you believe what you believe. Uh it's a phenomenal class. Yours truly will be teaching one of those classes. I'll be teaching the comparative religions. You can take it in person or you can take it uh at home. So it's totally up to you. And the classes uh will start March 21st. If you sign up, are you ready? If you sign up by March 4th, you get 20% off. I've extended it a little bit uh because we're gonna be going on television this Monday on Cornerstone Television to talk about our academic journey. Myself, uh Dr. Van Gayton and uh Dr. Winford Craig, my father-in-law, uh, who is actually gonna be overseeing the school along with myself and then Bishop Gayton. Dr. Van Gayton, who's traveled all over the world extensively, uh, is I call him uh Bishop Alphabet Soup because he's got so many doctorates and PhDs. I can't even keep up. It looks like a bull of Alphabet Soup behind his name. Uh so you're not gonna want to miss out on that. If you could tune into Cornerstone Television uh this Monday at 3:30 and at 8 p.m., uh, we are gonna have a phenomenal time uh talking about our academic journeys and then also promoting the school at the end of it. So got that coming up. I would love to have you be a part of that. Uh, we have a whole lot more that's coming up, but we really want to equip people. Uh, my my pastor, Dr. Van Gayton, he says something really good. He says it's time to be anointed academic activist. Isn't that good? Anointed academic activists, and we've got to be that for the kingdom of God. So if you're interested in being a part of that, as you can see coming across the screen, text the word Bible Institute to 412-586-7159. And you can come and be a part of it and come hang out with us uh and be in the word of God. And we are working on our accreditation, so you'll be able to transfer it to other schools, and uh, it's gonna be awesome. So don't miss out on that. Come join with us, and uh, we're gonna get you involved in Jesus' name. Amen. So now that I've gotten that all out of the way, it's all good stuff, and I don't want to say that it was in the way, but you get my point. Uh, I would love uh to get into something with you right now. I believe with all of my heart that the day of mega, as we have previously known it, is over. Saved your comments. Uh, it's not going to change my mind. Uh, I believe it's a word from God. And the word mega, I understand it means big, but the problem is not that the church is big. It's the problem is that our egos have gotten big. The problem is that ourselves, our flesh has gotten big. I never said there was anything wrong with mega in regards to size. I said mega had to do with the mentality that came with it. That is the issue that I have. So if somebody's gonna quote me and say something, they need to make sure they quote me correctly. Mega is nothing wrong with a big church. The Bible says in the first day, 3,000 were added to the church daily. It was the attitudes and the mentalities behind uh the mega that we have today. It is the way we have run mega ministry. It is the way that we have developed, it's the way that we've cultivated. And I even mentioned this just so you all are aware. I said this as well, that mega can be in a small church as well. I said it has nothing to do with numbers. There are a lot of big churches out there. There are a lot of great, or I'm sorry, a lot of great big churches out there that are great. There are a lot of small churches that are great, but I've seen some small churches that are terrible, and I've seen some big churches that are terrible. And I said, the way I'm using the word mega is mean how big it is and how big we are. Mega needs to glorify God and not man. We've made men big, we've made the platform big, we've made everything big but God. We've made it about how many people you have, and that is not God. There is no place in scripture where Jesus mentioned about having big be the goal and the focus, except for when it comes to fruit. I believe that we are in a day and an hour. People consider success in ministry, how much money you have, how many people you have, how big your church is when it comes to size or things along that line and the building you've got. And we've made that the focus at the expense of growing people. I am convinced that there are many people out there that are in churches that are starving to be fed. Listen to me. Save all of your bad comments and stuff because it's not going to land. Because I'm not saying there's anything wrong with having a big ministry, having a big parking lot. That's wonderful. I pray that hell we all have that. The more the merrier. But that is not the focus. God could care less. If he cared about big buildings and all of that stuff, and that was his main priority, why did he say that the glory of the latter would be greater than that of the former? He was talking about the temple. But isn't it funny when Jesus came, that the veil in the temple was split, the ark was exposed, all the temple began to crumble. I mean, all these things begin to happen. Why? Because the focus was meant to be upon people. And I believe one of the dangers of mega ministry as we have known it is that we have built big ministry, but we have failed to develop big ministers. I'm gonna say that again. We have built big ministries at the expense of not developing big ministers. I have a very big important thing that I put into uh my ministry. It's one of our core values that we never put ministry ahead of the ministers. We're never gonna build so much church and ministry and all that while people are starving and hurting. And I'm not talking about just physically starving from food. I'm talking about spiritual food. I hear it all the time. So many people that are struggling in their faith, in their walk with God, in their in their development, that they're trying to carry ministry and yet and still nobody's prayed for them. Nobody's helped them to develop their marriages. That's why we see so many great men of God that their marriages are crumbling, their churches are crumbling, because we keep building platforms for man, but yet and still we don't develop people. And Jesus' number one thing was to feed my people. I shared this before about how when Jesus had fed all of the multitudes and he had multiplied them and he had blessed them and he healed every single one of them. It's amazing. He had a major healing service, major healing. And it said he healed every one of them. But then at the end of that, you'd have thought he would have sent everybody back and would have been happy. The Bible says, at the end of everybody getting their healing. Now hear this. This is so powerful. The end of everybody getting their healing. Everybody got their breakthrough. They got their prophetic words. He said he was moved with compassion because they were sheep having no shepherd. So that lets me know you can have mega healing ministry and God still be grieved because the people aren't fed. Because this is the reality. God did not save his people so they could have big church meetings. He saved them so then they could have a relationship with him. And many people love crowds but hate people. I'm gonna say that again. Many people love crowds and hate people. And I believe that we're in a day and an hour now that God is tired of that. He died for his people. He put five-fold ministry gifts for the equipping of the saints. Not that there's anything wrong, and I'm gonna say it over and over again because I know how some people are gonna look at it. I don't think there's anything wrong with having televisions. I don't think there's anything wrong with having smoke and uh lights and all those things. I have all those things. I've had all those things, I've got those types of things. I've got an LED wall and all those types of things. But you know what? That is not what brings the glory. That is not what causes God to be moved. That is not his focus and his, that's one of the avenues that he can use in order to make it uh uh palatable for people to understand and learn, but that can't be the focus. The focus can't be, and if I can just get more money and get more of this. The focus is God anoint me to pour into your people. And I'm convinced that there are pastors out there shepherding people that don't want to be shepherd. And then I believe that there are people out there that want to be shepherd that can't find a shepherd, but their pastor says they are shepherd. I believe this is a day now that God's gonna link up pastors. I like it in Jeremiah 3, verse 15. He says, I will give you shepherds after my own heart. Hallelujah. I will give you shepherds after mine own heart. That is so good. And God wants to have shepherds, and then he needs people that he can pour into, and then the kingdom of God can be developed. And if mega comes out of that, so be it. Nothing wrong with that. The day of mega as we have known it is over. God is done with it. And let me share the crux of what I'm sensing in my heart right now. Uh something that God put into my spirit. Since when and how have we allowed that the platform of God's presence to become performance-based? Think about it for a minute. See, some of you may or may not know this. I grew up in the day and the hour where the mega minister came out and they had the big platform, and it was how well you moved the people. And if you got them to shout, and if you had the ham and organ, and people ran around like a chicken with their head cut off, and people were falling out under the power. And and if you did those things, you had church and people were so blessed. Now, watch, here you go. I know how some religious people think, oh, Pastor Jay, you don't like all that stuff. No, there's nothing wrong with that. I have no issue with it. We've made the pulpit of God a performance-based platform. I don't believe God is pleased with that. Since when did we turn ministering the word of God, singing to people, singing and leading people into the presence of God, a performance-based platform? I am so tired of people feeling the pressure. Men and women of God feeling the pressure that when somebody calls them to their church, if they don't have church and they don't shout and the organ isn't blaring and all these things, and that they're not going to be called again. You know, something I'll be honest with you, I got to the point in my life and in my ministry, you don't want to have me. That's completely fine. I'm completely okay with it. If you don't, if I didn't move your people the way you thought I should, if I didn't share what it was that you thought I should, if people didn't run around and fall out under the power of God, if I didn't prophesy the way you wanted me to, and I didn't share exactly, and people didn't feel goosebumped, run up down. That's fine. I don't need your invitation. I don't want it. As a matter of fact, I would prefer not to even come. I don't even want to be around it. As a matter of fact, I've had I have the opportunity to bring people into my church and I produce things at Cornerstone and bring people on for telethons. And a lot of times people feel pressure. I got to do this. And I tell them, go out there and have fun. I don't mean, now hear what I'm saying. I don't mean to despise the opportunity, to not be prepared, to not bring excellence. But you know what? If you've done everything you can, you shared what God told you to share, you did what you needed to do, you leave the results up to God. And we make people feel this pressure that they've got to preach a certain way and they've got to have that and all that stuff. And I'm not against any of that. If that's what you do, that's what you do. But people have a compulsion to have to be able to feel this pressure to perform. I see it on people. And I tell them all the time listen, don't you feel that here? You do what God's called you to do. Don't you feel the pressure of making everybody happy? And oh, no, no, no. If you invite somebody to your church, let them share what God said and leave the results up to God. I'm not talking about pre people preaching heresy and stuff. I'm talking about we've made it where I don't want to share nothing that won't get me brought back. Don't have me then. Don't have me then, because I don't want to come to any place that doesn't want to glorify God. You know, this is the thing. I want everybody to catch this. The anointing of God is not something that you personally produce. And what do I mean by that? You can pray, you can seek God, you can be in the Word, you can live a holy lifestyle, but how God shows up is not just about that man. Matter of fact, let me tell you this. Sometimes how God shows up is based upon the condition of the hearts of the people. Sometimes what he needs to say, but see, a lot of pastors only want to have church, that mega day is over. That's why a lot of these big conferences up, they're all dwindling down, like they, they, they're not the same as they were. And I don't believe that God has anything against the conference. I don't believe there's anything wrong with a conference. I don't think there's anything wrong with having a renting out an auditorium. And but this is the thing. Nobody should ever feel pressure to perform. Should we feel, yes, the the weightiness of making sure you bring a word from God to the people? Of course. Should we take that as the most serious and utmost importance to make sure my spirit is open? I received a word from God and I deliver it the way that God called me to? Of course we should. But what I'm saying is people have this style that they want. Even singers and things like that. You know, well, they've got to have certain runs and they got to hit these octaves. Listen, I know a lot of people that aren't the greatest singers. And what I mean by that doesn't mean that they can't sing, but they don't have the level of somebody that's got this big name. And we've turned it into this you've got to be the big name, you've got to have the big this, you've got to have that, you've got to have this platform. And you know I don't think God cares. I don't think God could give two hoots on what it is that people do with this mega stuff anymore. I think God is, matter of fact, I'll be honest, I think the way I'm talking about it, he's sick of it. I believe he's completely tired of it. He's he's never wanted it to be like that. How do I know? Because I talk to the people. I talk to people that feel this pressure. They get in the pull, but and they're shaking, like, what if I what if I don't make everybody shout? If I don't make everybody run around, if I don't have the Hammond organ screaming, if I don't do all these things, if I don't have people uh shouting and I don't do it a certain way, they're not gonna have me back. If I don't share something that everybody likes, oh my goodness, they may not have me back. Well, let me tell you this. You share what God told you to share, and don't you ever, if I'm talking to anybody that's singing, preaching, or anything, don't you ever, ever, ever feel uncomfortable about sharing the word of God and feel pressurized. Don't do that. You leave the results up to the Lord. If they don't have you back or something along that line because you didn't preach a certain way, don't even worry about it. And listen, I'm not saying this because I can't preach. I've been gifted to preach. I got the voice and I can sing and do all those things, but I refuse to make people to allow people to make me feel like I need to perform. It's not a performance based thing. Do you need to prepare? Of course you do. Do you need to bring your best? Of course you should. Is there anything wrong with shouting and hollering? Not at all. It's the things beneath it that cause people to feel pressure. God's sick of that. The only pressure we should ever feel, God, did I do what you asked me to do? Did I do what you wanted me to do? That did I deliver what you wanted me to deliver. Not if the people were happy, not if they, you know, as a matter of fact, I'm convinced that a lot of people, the reason why they fall asleep in church is because they're in the flesh. They're always fighting sleep. Oh, I'm so tired. People dozing off in church. That's because you're in the flesh. And I believe this with all of my heart that I talk to people that travel overseas to different places. They say, man, they at church here in America, you got an hour to preach and that's it. And people will check out. Over there, those people will walk three, four hours to get to a place where there's 20 or 30,000 people. They're there and they're and they will pull on you for five, six hours. And when you're done at five, six hours, they're there at the altar for another two hours. And then after that, they're still waiting for you to do an encore. They ain't got no other place to go. They're hungry for the things of God. And many reasons why churches are dead, it's because the people are dead. And we'll say that again. Many reasons why the churches are dead is because the people are dead. And it doesn't matter how anointed a man of God or a woman of God is, if the people can't pull on them, my good God Almighty, if they don't have a hunger for it, if they're waiting to be entertained instead of coming to enter in, then, ladies and gentlemen, let me tell you something. That man or woman of God may not have anything to give to them. And you say, well, prove that, Pastor Jay. Look at the past of scripture where the Bible said Jesus came back to his hometown and he was ready to work signs and wonders. The Bible says he only healed a few of them. Why? It's because they looked at him and they despised him. And they said, Oh, isn't this Joseph, the Joseph's son, the carpenter? The carpenter, uh, the one that was making all the tables and chairs? Ain't he the carpenter's son? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh man, he's just Jesus. He's just Jesus, you know. See, the problem is, do you see him as Christ or do you see him just as Jesus? See, Jesus was his name, but when he became Christ, he walked in a different mantle and a different anointing. Now I'm not domplaying the name of Jesus, but I'm saying if you see him as ordinary is my point. Then as a result, if you don't recognize the Christ-ness of who he is, you can miss your opportunity. I believe God is tired of people feeling the pressure to perform for man. I think he's sick of it. I think it grieves the very heart of God that I'm I've heard it. People will come and talk to me and say, oh man, I felt all this pressure. Not because they wanted to please God, but they're concerned that somebody won't have them back. Or they're concerned that if they don't preach a certain message in a certain style in a certain way, that they're not going to be called anointed. Ladies and gentlemen, I could care less. I can care less. You can keep your invitations, you can keep your conferences, you can keep all of that. Listen, I want God. I want people in my platform that God's given me. I want them to come and bring the presence of God. I tell every man or woman of God when they come, I say, you go there and you have fun. Have fun doing what? Delivering what God told you to share. And you do it. If you need to share something that rebuke, I wonder how many pastors are willing to do that. If God tells you to rebuke them, rebuke them. If God tells you to say, see, if you if you trust that man or woman that they hear from God, if you can't trust them to share what they feel God gave them, you shouldn't have them. And a lot of times, well, I don't want to make anybody upset out or ruffle anything. I think God's tired of all of that. I think he's sick and tired of it. I think he is so grieved that we have placated to man, that we've made man happy, that God says, I'm done with all of it. I believe in this day and hour, God is raising up ministries and men and women. He's breaking down these platforms made and these idols made to men. And I believe he's raising up men and women of God that are gonna share the full gospel, the counsel of the gospel. Sometimes it's gonna be an encouragement, sometimes it's gonna be blessings, sometimes people are gonna get hands laid on them, sometimes people are gonna be filled with the spirit, sometimes gifts, sometimes it's gonna be rebuked. Sometimes people are gonna be challenged, sometimes people are gonna be weeping at the altar, and we're gonna stop trying to put men and women of God into a box and telling them only share positive. Oh, you're a doom and gloom preacher when they're really a holiness preacher, or they're sharing a prophetic word of correction because God wants to bring a greater level of glory, but no one let them share it because we don't want to ruffle any feathers. And God forbid that we should lose our bottom line and people would get upset and walk away. I think God is tired of all of that. God is ready for his bride to rise up, he's ready for people to come to the forefront that are anointed by him in order to stand up and to be strong, declare what God says, leave the results up to him, and watch the glory begin to fall. I believe, with all of my heart, this is the day and the hour that we are in. I believe that. And I am so tired of how we have had this mega mentality where people feel the pressure. I remember when I was in college and I fell into that for a while, years and years ago, you know, where you feel this pressure you gotta perform and you've gotta put on and you've got to make sure you stir the crowd instead of just focusing on what did God tell me to say? What is God calling me to say? I'm not here to perform. I'm here to deliver a package. I'm here as a messenger and as a servant. And you know, maybe uh on Monday I'm gonna talk to you. I didn't get a chance to get to it today, but you know, I'm gonna get into um Matthew chapter 23 on Monday, where it talks about uh the hypocrites that were in the major positions, the religious leaders of the day. And I'm saying all this to say that we all must guard our hearts from that. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I want to make sure I'm very clear. I have no problem with having church. I mean, I love it. I mean, you want to go out and do a shout and all that, that's great. Go for it. I mean, uh, there's nothing wrong with that, but that doesn't mean you had great service. Just because people shout and run around, that don't mean that God changed hearts and lives. It doesn't mean that he didn't, but it doesn't mean that he did. That is not the ultimate litmus test. And some people, they I've been around some services where that preacher gets everybody shouting and running around and they're glorifying and all this stuff and falling under the power of God. And I came out of there saying, man, did he or she say anything at all of value? And the people that have gotten to the point where we've turned this whole thing into a performance and into a thing where it's all about how you get people to move. And I don't think God cares about it. I know he doesn't care about any of that. If it happens as a result of doing what God called you to do, great, but don't ever feel pressure. Be who it is that God calls you to be. As a preacher, as a singer, don't try to be what you're not. Don't try to be on the billboard top 100. If you doing what God called you to do ends up landing you there, great, but don't make that the focus. Don't make having the biggest building and most numbers of people and uh having the largest ministry and having your name on billboards the focus. Just focus on lifting up the name of Jesus. Just do what he tells you to do. And if it brings the billboards, if it brings mega, go for it. But people have made that the litmus test of success. If you're a success or not, this is what you have to do. I believe that day is over. And I believe God is raising up people. I believe some of God's choicest preachers, men and women, are in churches of 50 or 100, 150, 200 people. I believe that. I believe some of the choicest people have 20,000 people in their church. I don't think there's anything wrong with it. What's behind it all? It's not the fact if you have it or not. What has driven that? How are people being treated? How are people being discipled? What is the heart of the people in that, in those, in those positions? That's what I think is most important to God. So I pray today that God would keep us from the mega mentality as we have known it. I think we need to magnify God. We need to get away from mega and focus on magnifying him. And I believe if we begin to lift him up, he said, I'll draw all men unto me. And if it comes with a Bentley, God bless you. If it comes with a Rolls-Royce, God bless you. If it comes with a 100,000, 200,000 square foot facility, God bless you. Wonderful. Go for it. Take it. Do it. That's what God called you to do. But do not let that be the focus of your success. And do not get into a performance-based ministry where you get into trying to make people either feel that they need to perform or you feel the pressure to perform. It's God's glory. If it turns out the way you wanted it, give him the glory. If it doesn't turn out the way you want it, give him the glory. If people are shouting all over the place, give him the glory. If they're not shouting, give them the glory. If you did what God called you to do, that's all that matters. And if people try to put that pressure to cause you to perform, don't fall into it. That's not what God wants. He wants you to have the expectation and to prepare yourself to deliver what he's called you to deliver and leave the results up to him. So, Father, I pray for every person watching today that you would bless them, anoint them, and fill them. Thank you, Father God, for what you're doing in this day and in this hour. Father, as we think about the song, I'm coming back to the heart of worship where it's all about you. It's all about you. I'm sorry, Lord, for the thing that I've made it. Father, we repent for what we've made, church, what we've made ministry, what we've made your platform. We repent, Father God, for how we've made it. Father, it is all about you. And so, Lord, I'm praying that that would be the heart of each and every one of us. And Lord, we thank you, giving you the praise, the honor, and the glory in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Well, I hope that you've enjoyed this. Come back for part three on Monday. Enjoy your weekend. Come on out this Sunday at 10 a.m. to another level ministries. Send in your prayer request to me. I want to pray for you. I believe God's got a breakthrough and a blessing with your name on it. If you don't have a church, we would love to see you this Sunday. It's going to be a great weekend. God is going to visit his people. He's going to visit his holy temple, and I believe he's going to visit you. God bless you. Have a wonderful weekend, and I'll see you Monday, Monday evening, 8 p.m., right here for another episode of Dimensions.
