5, 4, 3, 2, 1. It's time to count down reality TV's most talked about moments with Amanda Bella. Hello everybody, welcome back to Bella Talks TV. It's Amanda Bella here and it is day four of my Bella bonus advent calendar extravaganza. I have been really having fun with this so far.

Speaker 1:

I can already tell, after four days of being committed to this, that I'm breaking new habits. I am I'm building new habits. I'm breaking old bad habits. I'm definitely like paving the way for myself to just feel like the mic is just part of my hand at this point, and that's what we're going for Now. I used to like make any excuse to be like oh, I don't know, I just trust me. I used to just make lots of excuses why I couldn't do this more, and now I'm really just breaking through my own fear and thank you for joining me and being along on this ride. We are here today to talk about the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I just watched yesterday's episode and it is fresh in my brain and I want to just talk about it and just have like a fun little like kinky episode today where we're just talking about one recent episode. I don't typically like do like a one episode recap, because that again talk about commitment. I mean I really tip my hat to the podcasters out there that are recapping every single episode word for word, line for line, breaking down the characters, like I really do respect all of my fellow podcasters that do that, but that's not the type of show here. I'm going to just kind of go over some of the stuff that went off on the show yesterday and just keep it, like I said, really light and easy. Thank you again for being here.

Speaker 1:

Bellatalkstv, please make sure if you're not following me on social media, you are now. And please make sure you're also following me in my stories, because that is really where I do my best work Love doing my Instagram stories. I haven't been on TikTok as much because I learned very quickly with TikTok. Like it is a disease and even though I was really tempted, I really wanted to like get into it and use it more. You have to like. If you're not using your apps to create and you're just using your apps to scroll, that can start to get a little draining and depressing. So I just really try to have a good balance of the amount of time I'm scrolling and looking at other people's content and making my own. Okay, so yeah, anyways, let's get into Beverly Hills Housewives, because last night's episode was good.

Speaker 1:

I think that the producers I'm not sure, I'm sure it's not the same production company that's doing Salt Lake City but it's giving more of that this season. I think the show is giving more of that camp element. Yeah, we know we talk a lot about camp. What does that really even mean? I think that it is just an indescribable kind of like again, surreal, fantasy-like level of like that local theater, that idea that these are just like ladies in our neighborhood versus celebrities that are watching on a TV show. And that's hard with a franchise like Beverly Hills. Because these women are true, some of them, I mean Kyle, really like huge I wouldn't say huge actress, but I mean tenured there, tenured actress, obviously. Kathy, successful on her own, garcelle, I mean we know her entire existence. I mean truly, I guess what her passion in life is is being an actress and producing movies. She's been doing that for decades now. Now we have Jennifer Tilly on staff, like it is really it's Beverly Hills baby, some she, she, she. So I really, I guess let me just like do a temp check really quick with everybody on the cast. So I did an episode recently too where I talked about some of my favorite past and present Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Please go check out that episode as well.

Speaker 1:

But this season I am really loving how let's go through everybody. So I'm really loving how Erica really is being the fence this season. She's doing a really good job at not going for Kyle or for Doreen. I think that she actually probably personally and privately does lean more one way or the other but for the sake of the show and for the sake of the group, like she's doing a really good job at kind of being the glue this season and I appreciate her. She's obviously so happy not to be involved in this negative drama with Tom anymore. I don't think that's really ever over. She, I think, recognizes when there's like peaks and valleys of the drama with him. So I think, as she's in this peak of being out of the drama, she's really happy. I mean we see her get that new Porsche delivered to her house with the bow and everything this episode. I mean she's obviously not struggling, she's going to be just fine. So I think that we're out of the phase where we feel bad for her, we're not feeling sympathy for her. I mean not that a lot of people ever really did, but that was kind of her storyline last few seasons. And now she's kind of reinventing herself into kind of being just grateful and happy to be there and she's watching her drinking a little bit after immersing the purse last season. So I'm kind of like loving Erica this season, I know. I mean it's pretty clear that even with Jen Shaw on Salt Lake City she's going to come back when she gets released. And even though Erica never went to prison, I mean she was basically implicated and indicted just by marriage and I'm willing to forgive her. Oh my God, no, that's so bad, I know that's so bad. Her oh my God, no, that's so bad, I know that's so bad, I know it's not right, but I just, I just, I just it's a lot. I don't feel good about saying that, but speaking my truth. So Erica is back.

Speaker 1:

Then we have Kyle and Coyle. Coyle is an enigma also. She really confuses me because she is the youngest of her sisters and I do find that interesting. I have an older, somewhat alpha, second motherly figure type older sister as well. So I understand that dynamic that Kyle and Kathy have. I really do. But what I don't like about Kyle is she really is victim mentality and then she's calling other people victim mentality and I think that that trope of somebody of like projecting and not being able to know is a very frustrating character on our scene and I think Dorit is really going to try to get Kyle to break up that. Finally, I mean, kyle's been pretty pretty like steadfast in the fact that since season one of this show she has always been mixed up in something where somebody's like offending her. It's kind of like very Beverly Hills. Of course we know so, of course it is like true to her nature. But it is after these many seasons and I think people were so excited when the Morgan of it all started because we were like, wow, are we really going to get a different Kyle? But she is not, you know, able to present who. I really think she's being off screen. I actually do think her and Morgan are together. I do. She was just like an African safari with her.

Speaker 1:

Like I think that they just have chosen to not put it in the public eye as much anymore. I think they thought before like it would be. Oh, you know, no such thing as bad press, but there is such thing as bad press. I think they both like took a hit personally, maybe not professionally, but definitely personally. I don't think people like view them the same way anymore, or at least just don't take them as seriously.

Speaker 1:

You know, I'm not like I'm not. I'm kind of neutral with Kyle. I'm not like I don't hate her and think that she's like an awful human being by any means. I don't think that she is some kind of like evil narcissist, but I do. I do think that she's got she could benefit from like I don't know. She needs to heal, she needs to go on a healing journey and she hasn't had her healing journey yet and I think that'll be good to see. I think she thought getting sober and also working out like she thought that was healing, but I think that that's actually suppressed, like still not. It's not cathartic enough yet where she's really talking about everything that's going on and like living in her truth. She's still in that like limbo area. So you know it is interesting to see what's going on with her and Dorit. You know we'll go on to Dorit. You guys know I love my Dorito. I think she's having a great season so far.

Speaker 1:

I think that she's really I get her because I am very much like her in this, same with Erica. We are fun, bubbly cancer women, we are summer babies, we love fashion, we love parties. Like I understand like the cancer woman archetype and I get like why Eric and Dorit are friends and I see like the vibe and with Dorit she is pretty much like and even when they talk about her being like a home body and stuff, like I am also like that too. Like even though it seems like I do a lot, like I'm pretty much home 95% of the time and in the 5% that I'm out I'm just like sending it. But it really is. You know, it used to be 50, 50. It used to be even more. I was out more than I was home. But obviously over the years now I've learned, like just getting older and I don't even know how these women do it, because I don't know how these women do it. I see now when they go on these group trips and they're like so hung over the next morning, dying, I get it. So I'm still hung over from like three days ago. So in this episode, okay, so Dorit, we know, we know her whole MO this season is really going to get Kyle to like see and understand. Like you are really good at calling out other people's bullshit but you have to also like turn and look within, because you two have not. You know I understand you're going through a lot but, like it, it's really hard to be a good friend and just say like I'm sorry for being a bad friend to you because I was going through some stuff. But she can't say that either.

Speaker 1:

Now back to Kathy. Kathy this season I was kind of resistant to her coming back After Kathy's display of I don't even know what type of behavior that was on Paris in Love. I mean the whole situation with Paris having a surrogate, having the baby born, having the baby home for over a week before Kathy was introduced and even knew the baby existed, is not talked about enough. That's traumatizing. I think Kathy just started to really disassociate and she has a crazy display. I was not really wanting her to come back, especially after the F? Slur and after everything that kind of got called out with Rinna and the screaming and all of her meltdowns and her tantrums. I was afraid of her for a while.

Speaker 1:

But this episode when she is in the car, okay, the episode starts this and we don't really need to talk about Sutton and Garcelle. I mean, to me they're kind of like non-factors, they're they should be like friend ofs, but we'll, we'll get into them later. So we start this episode and it's gonna be everybody getting invited and going to Oceanside, california. It sounds like it's two hours away, ish from LA or from Beverly Hills and so Kathy has arranged this trip. She's taking them all to this place where Top Gun was filmed I've never seen Top Gun, I know what travesty. And she's taking all the ladies out there. She's got them on Sprinter.

Speaker 1:

Van Sutton's drinking the champagne in the morning with Jennifer Tilly. Even Jennifer Tilly is like I love champagne first thing in the morning. I'm like I'm actually like loving Jennifer Tilly, who's another person. I was like I don't think we need like another kooky, crazy, wild, rich lady. But I was really wrong. I was really wrong about not having Kathy and not having Jennifer Tilly. Those two are essential cast members so far this season. They're bringing it. So Kathy's got everybody on the sprinters.

Speaker 1:

But before she can do that, she has to go and deliver the invitations for everybody to come, and she's decided to pack everybody's suitcases that are monogrammed. Now if you guys saw that Kathy Hilton estate sale, she was giving away these suitcases. It looks like she has billions of these suitcases that are monogrammed for herself and then everybody else gets them for gifts, and all the kids, grandkids, everybody has these like monogrammed suitcases. It's like her thing. So everybody's getting a suitcase filled with shit. It's really funny. She goes to deliver them to everyone and remember, bose is like a marketing genius.

Speaker 1:

So I think the fact that she does she to Bo's first is kind of getting her temperature check on the suitcase. I mean, pretty much Bo's is like great, it's like a suitcase that I don't want, filled with a bunch of shit that I don't need. I mean, that's kind of how these gifts go. It makes you so mad because you're like, okay, wow, kathy Hilton has billions of dollars, why don't you just give me like a piece of jewelry that I want to wear every day? Like, like don't get, or yeah, give me. Like I don't know how much that suitcase costs, I guess. But I think it's just like a junk. Kathy just seems like she has like junk around her.

Speaker 1:

She's driving this old Rolls Royce around Bel Air giving everybody these suitcases and she's got pillows packed in the car and she's wearing the lampshade hats that she's gifted to everybody, the lampshade hats that she's gifted to everybody at the lampshade hat. I mean, I'm kind of into the lampshade hat a little bit. I kind of see what she was going for here. Um, carol, that marketing lady. She just kind of gives me like some kind of I don't know what's going on with her, but they're riding around, they're going around Beverly Hills and Kathy really had me laughing in the part where she goes. Okay, I'll just be quiet for a second. I need to pray. And then it's like inaudible praying. That made me LOL. Like that's going to probably be my LOL of the week. Spoiler alert for my top five countdown this week, because I'm still thinking about it. It's like that was so freaking funny.

Speaker 1:

So Kathy goes, delivers the suitcases. First she goes to Bo's house. I'm really into Bo. I think she's a great addition. I love that. She's like really into herself. I think we need that type of egocentric not ever narcissists Like we want. We don't want like mean people like that. We want people that are fun and that want to get into the mix and that think that they can like hey, like you got to show up there and be like I'm fucking hanging with Kathy Hilton and stuff, like you got to be ready to go. So Bose, I think, was ready to go and she was a really good addition. They bring her. She laughs about like Kathy giving everybody self-tanner. She's like I'm black, I really don't need the self-tanner. So then they go to Garcelle and Garcelle is with her son, jade, who I love.

Speaker 1:

Jackson Jade like she got a lot of heat and I was definitely one of the people applying pressure when she was using Jade and Jax as her storyline because it was. It was an interesting way. When she was using Jade and Jax as her storyline because it was, it was an interesting way that she was using them because she was like okay, like I need you guys to film with me, but like they hated it and then they'd be like mom, you're a terrible, terrible mother and the only time that we get to spend with you is like work related and we're going to need you to like be around more and it was brutal. Like, looking back, I don't that whoo, and I was kind of like a little asshole like that when I was younger too. Like I thought I knew it all and I have, I think, learned. I hope I'm not as bad anymore. I think I've learned to hold. You know that I don't know everything, but I kind of got how Jade and Jax were like that.

Speaker 1:

Now, jaxx was the one I think that was a little bit more aggressive, like that. I think he like went to go live with the dad and he's not really in this season filming. But jade, jade wants to get into the, into the industry, and he wants to be a model. So garcelle has hooked him up with a professional photo shoot. I mean, he looks great, he's clearly he's, he's a model, he's a model. Garcelle, beautiful kids cannot say anything about that. Still, not sure.

Speaker 1:

You know she's a good addition. I just still don't have, like the. I haven't had that thing with her yet, I've not connected with her yet, but I she's giving me something, she gave us something this episode. So they're there, they're, they're, you know, doing their thing at, at the modeling, I mean everybody. It's really interesting how, like everybody really loves kathy so much, like they're so excited when she shows up, they think she's so fun.

Speaker 1:

And then kathy goes to doritos and little phoenix is there, little eight-year-old phoenix, and like, looking at her. Yeah, she's definitely old enough to know, like her dad is not around, like she looks like. She looks like a little dorit she's so cute. And then you know doritos opening up the suitcase and going through all the things that are in there, dorit's loving the hat. I do agree. Out of all the different accordion lampshade hats, dorit did get the chicest one. She got the polka dot one. Immediately she's wearing it, modeling it, and if there's one thing that like everybody was saying last season oh Dorit, like she had to dye her hair dark and she had to, like, stop wearing all of the designer stuff because of her troubles with PK and this and that, no, she's still wearing Chanel head to toe to the beach.

Speaker 1:

So I don't think that there's something going on. She's not that broke yet. I mean the house is foreclosed. I'm not not 100% sure what's going on with the house, but then Kathy goes over to Kyle's house next. I love how they've now like so many like I don't know, kyle, just the cameras are there and I do realize they film 22 hours a day or whatever, and they only use 40 minutes an episode. So there's got to be a lot of B-roll footage, but it seems like every single time people come to Kyle's house, she just doesn't have makeup on. She's like oh my God, what's going on? The dogs? It's always chaos ensues and there's something about her chaotic, anxiety nature that gives me like a cause for pause, like it makes me, I think, feel like unsafe or something with her, and I think I feel that same way with Kathy, like I don't feel safe around the Richards family. My mom shout out. She's like the opposite Nothing there's bad, good, whatever.

Speaker 1:

I've talked a lot about, put a lot of controversial POVs about parenting on this podcast. For someone who doesn't have kids, I really run my mouth a lot. But with my mom, with four kids, we were broke. My dad had cancer. My mom had to work like the late shift because she cut hair so she would work like evenings. She never once had anxiety. She never once worried about getting anything done. She never once made us seem. I never saw her like running around like that, never. She was like it was cool as a cucumber and I don't know how she did it. She's the super woman.

Speaker 1:

But when I look at Kyle, who has all the money in the world, all the resources, all the help I'm sure they had nannies, I'm sure they had people like Jesus to always be so nervous and stuff Like it just it's giving something about. It gives like ungrateful. But I guess when all your all you know is money, beverly Hills, help, et cetera, then yeah, you probably aren't as aware of like how great you have things, like be grateful for how great you have things. She like is somebody who seems to it's for, I think, attention I'm just giving a read Armchair therapist here that she just needs a lot of attention and I think she gets it by way of acting wild all the time, and I understand that I know a few people like that as well. But I, I, I think I'm the opposite, like where I recoil a little and that just shows where we're just different and sometimes why I just like don't get her, I'm like I would love to see her like loving life. So they continue to.

Speaker 1:

You know, kathy drops off all the invitations and then there's this scene with Kyle and Mo Mo comes over to the house. You know, we know that he's moved out, he's moving to a condo, but PK, there's no PK in this episode, which that was a good decision from the producers we did not need. I think we had a little bit too much PK already. But Mo comes over to the house and Kyle's wanting him to. You know, she's painted the bathroom, she's made some changes to the house. She's kind of wanting him, I think, to feel a certain way about it. She's also sad that like he doesn't miss the dogs and like want to take the dogs over to his condo. I think she's surprised how detached he is. But I'm kind of not, because I think that Kyle was in denial for a long time about how Mo replaced his like passion for life with the daughters.

Speaker 1:

I think it's also hard for Amanda, for daughters, like I think he worked and that was what he wanted to do and she said, you know, he wasn't just gone a lot every day, he would be gone for weeks at a time and eventually, yes, you start to feel a little detached. I can even tell when my husband travels for work and when I usually do try to go with him for this very reason that I want to make sure that if he has to travel I'm going, we're staying connected. But it's all about like doing that because it's really easy to want to stay home, like I do naturally want to stay home. So sometimes I do skip the trips that he goes on, even though I could go and I stay home. But if I did that every single time there would be a huge wedge and I think that over time, because she had the four daughters and she was working still and then she started shooting the show, she couldn't be away.

Speaker 1:

Marriage does take work and I'm not saying a 28-year marriage isn't successful, but does take work, and I'm not saying a 28 year marriage isn't successful but they're definitely grappling with with the ending of this marriage. I think neither of them really know how to handle it. I think they're both like in denial a little bit. I think they're both like avoiding talking about it, dealing with it, and I get that from Mo a little. He's kind of like the free spirit out of them. But they have a lot of assets to split up, like Kyle said, said in the book, like she said, oh yeah, in Mo's book. He said he couldn't do the agency without me. It's like I think that they're both. You know, we're not sure what's going to happen with their divorce. We're going to have to let it, see it play out. But I do think it's rich again about the dancing with the stars thing, because with the exchanging of the photo and we never even got to see the photo on the desk, and I think Erica said that everybody when they leave gets a framed photo from production of them and their partners like a parting gift.

Speaker 1:

And so again, kyle using it for like a storyline to get sympathy is laughable to me. You know, she kind of considers them getting back together. This episode Producers ask she's like I don't really want to answer that, but I think that she, if she could have it her way, she would have him back. But she can't have her. She's not, it's not up to her. Looks like Mo kind of wanted to leave and then it also looks like I think Mo probably was one foot out the door. They probably had thought about separating and then when she met Morgan, it gave her that confident push. But I don't think that Kyle will ever truly. You know, I don't think she'll really ever be out of love with him. I think she'll always be in love with him, no matter what. So that's really hard. When you get divorced, when you have a breakup, doesn't mean that you forget your ex, even if you hate them. It's hard. So, yeah, they have this scene with Kyle and Mo and it is funny. It seems like they are amicable, which is good. I really like Bo, are amicable, which is good. I really like Bo's house. I've heard a lot of people and people like just talking about, like her style, her taste. I'm really into her. I think again that she's a really great addition.

Speaker 1:

There's a scene where Erica then FaceTimes with Kyle and they discuss again the video from BravoCon. Because now that Kyle's been spreading around the group that she is mad at the BravoCon comment, people are looking into it and rewatching it and they're probably they can't even remember it happening. So they're like wait, what was that? What happened? Like I was there. So they're all kind of talking about it amongst the group now and they're deciding that that's bullshit. So what else could she possibly be mad about? And I think it was the reading of the text really comes to the precipice which we get to later when they're in Oceanside and they finally confront each other again amongst the group. That that's. There's more. It's not really about the BravoCon comments. It's really more so about the reunion and the official flip.

Speaker 1:

And then you know just how the last few reunions have gone, where it seems like throughout the season things happen, they get to the reunion and by then, for whatever reason, for multiple different reasons Dorit is usually fed up with Kyle all the time they get to the reunion. I think it's because I think Kyle's a little bit of that Shannon Bedore personality where she's picking up the phone, calling you know, on the phone seven times a day, texting like wanting to like talk shit or like gossip, and then is expected to like not say you know. I think that there's a little bit of like a control in that, where it's like you're expected to be a vault and that's not how life works. That's not how life works. So all the ladies show up to Kathy's house. They're all getting ready to go on the sprinter. I'm loving it.

Speaker 1:

It seems like this is a really good group this season. In general, all the girls are getting along. There's not anything too crazy and too dramatic going on. Just you know the little bit of tension and stuff that it was between Kyle and Doreen, but it's not like they can't be in the same room together. So they come, everybody's coming, on the trip.

Speaker 1:

And Jennifer Tilly, the official guest of friend of this season, shows up to Kathy's house with a $35,000 Louis Vuitton boat purse. You know Erica makes a comment like, wow, this is true, rich people shit, this is Beverly Hills shit. And I agree, I love it. I love it. I love that Jennifer Tilly is here to show out her. I mean, google says that her net worth is 35 million but I feel like it's got to be more than that. Either way, that's a ton of money. She's got a piece of the Simpsons because her ex, who died of cancer, created it in 1989. I mean, it's wild. She's lived a million lives and I am pretty. I'm into her. I'm really happy again that she joined the cast.

Speaker 1:

So, yeah, all the ladies take off in the Sprinter. We love a Sprinter van trip. They get into some wacky stories. They're talking about penises. Garcelle loves to talk about a penis. They show up there's a weird fake Tick Tom Cruise at this house and yeah, they're staying at this like cool. They stay at like this cool place in Oceanside. Again, I've never even really heard of Oceanside, so marketing really does work, because now I know this place exists and immediately they sit down and they kind of have a big group lunch when they get there.

Speaker 1:

Boze Dorit's really looking forward to hanging out with Boze. Boze is her girl. She feels like everybody else in the group has turned her back on her. Nobody wants to listen to her talk. They all make fun of her for being long-winded. Every time she tries to share something about herself, she gets bullied and shamed into shutting up and she's like okay, fine, I'm going to just talk to Erica because Erica will listen and I'm going to hang out with Bose. Bose is my girl now. Like I deserve to have a friend. We genuinely connect. I'm not going to let everybody else steal her away from me and like turn her against me.

Speaker 1:

So, yeah, she's kind of like gatekeeping bows a little bit at this lunch and the other girls get a little upset about it. And Kyle's like what's going on? Like why can't we all have like a group conversation? And basically that comes down to them addressing that there's an elephant in the room, there's an elephant there at the beach, but they're going to talk about it later because let's just start, you know, the trip off onto a good note and she's kind of like nah, I like that. They're not like giving it.

Speaker 1:

Like there's a lot of peer pressure that goes on on Beverly Hills and Dorit's really truly like with that low bucket hat and those sunglasses on, drinking that delicious beverage or whatever that was, that craft cocktail and that coupe glass on the beach. I mean I every episode. I just cannot be more obsessed with her. I'm total single white female in her this season. Love her, love her. Then they get up and they play the games and I really, really hate when they play the games and I'm always like I usually fast forward and just like disassociate for a few minutes and they do the stupid games.

Speaker 1:

But this was pretty funny because it was short and sweet. It was just a game of basically like tag and duck, duck goose and dory smashing her face, falling twice in the sand, like just being able to roll around and laugh. She said there was sand in her teeth, there was sand in her hair, like sand was everywhere and it just looked like all the ladies were truly laughing. Kyle is always like I'm gonna pee my pants, like Like Kyle's the pants peer again. There's just something that goes on. I know that once you have women and you get a little bit older, I'm scared for that. I'm scared for that. But Kyle's peeing her pants, all the girls are laughing.

Speaker 1:

It really was a bonding moment and I thought that was so cute because that's what Kathy had put on the little printout, the little homemade printout that she put in everybody's suitcase that said like let's go to the beach and have a girl's time in kumbaya and it's gonna be great. And everybody was kind of laughing how cheesy it was. But it was cute and cheesy for that afternoon, like it was really nice the way that they were, all you know, laughing on the beach together and having a good time. But of course we know that these girls trips it's not all about just having cocktails on the beach and lol, it is about getting into the drama and I really love how you know, I I think some people hate this part of housewives and they're all in the hotel getting ready.

Speaker 1:

I love it. I personally love that part of traveling for me. I love when. I love when I'm I'm laughing because I have the show paused right now on Beverly Hills and it's paused right in the moment where they're back at the house getting ready to go to dinner and Kathy's hairstylist, chris, comes out and he has like 40-inch weave in and he's putting Kathy's hair extensions in the kitchen and she's like telling him Chris, I cannot do more. Like I'm going to get hot tonight, trust me. And he's like no One more clipping girl. Get over here. She's doing her hair in the kitchen. It is so good. I'm literally like who's this diva? I have to take a picture, so funny, okay. So they're all getting ready and I love this part.

Speaker 1:

I love seeing what all the girls wear. I am, I'm a fashion girly. I love looking at all the looks. I like seeing what everybody's going to be wearing. I like seeing what everybody orders to eat and drink Something about that. There's a reason why they leave that stuff in it's for people like me. I appreciate that. I like watching all the ladies get ready together and I love getting ready. I love going on a trip and having an excuse to get dressed up and putting together a look. I do. I love it, love being girly like that. And so they go.

Speaker 1:

They go to get ready for the dinner and like the tension has been building, like we knew all episode that Dorit and Kyle were going to be confronting each other at this dinner. And while all the girls are getting ready, bose is kind of going around like getting the tea, getting the scoop, like what's the deal? What's everybody like so upset about with each other in this group. Like I need to understand more. Because now again they've been to a couple of group events and Boze is getting to understand, like why are people not liking Dorit? Like I need to know what happened, what is going on here. And then she has this really funny quote where she's like okay, are they going to be fighting? Are we going to be fighting? Like am I going to be in a fight tonight? And that is so housewives. It's like, oh great, who's going to be? You never know when they sit down to that group dinner, like who is going to be in trouble that night. So I thought that was really funny and a very astute observation of this group.

Speaker 1:

I love the weird little episode clip where they left in of Dorit getting ready and she's like I gotta change the earrings. She's like no, it is. This is dire stat, I cannot. I don't care if we're late, I don't care if we miss, I'm changing the earrings. And Erica, you can tell, is like okay, I'll change the earrings. Like we gotta go. And then he puts the different earring in and she's just like so different, duh, she goes, she just goes. Duh, fucking love my Dorito so good In that leopard head to toe. Look with those little mixed metal. I love a mixed metal. She's doing a lot of mixed metal work on this season. I love wearing silver and gold. Even Garcelle showed up. Oh hi green. You guys know that, gertie, oh hi green meme. Oh, I have to use that with oh hi green.

Speaker 1:

So all the ladies get there, they get seated. Kyle makes a toast to the group and it's nice. She's really everybody's trying to be like OK, we're having a nice time so far, this is great, kathy's loving it. She's like wow, I'm such a great host. But then they're like okay, let's get down to brass tacks here. There's an elephant in the room and we're.

Speaker 1:

We cannot really have this group continue to get together with all this awkwardness. You can cut the tension with a knife. We need Doreen and Kyle to talk and they just start to go at it. They just start to bring up Kyle's like you did this, you did that. You defended Kathy at the reunion, then you brought up the tax, then you made the Bravo con, then this, and then Dorit keeps bringing up the same points too. Well, then you went on the Amazon live and then you said this and then at the reunion am I back, and it's the same kind of fight circle. So I see why all the girls are like we have got to get off this hamster wheel, like we've got to have a breakthrough tonight.

Speaker 1:

But this episode unfortunately ends with them at dinner, at the peak of their fight. They're starting to go back and forth with each other a little bit and you can tell it's getting awkward at that table because that camera keeps panning over to Garcelle and Erica sitting together and like they can't make eye contact with anybody. They're like, because it's little jabs, it's Dorit and them giving each other little jabs and it's getting a little heated at the table and you can just tell that everybody's sitting there. It's like shit, it's starting, here we go and it's it's about it's mounting, it's mounting, it's building, it's building. And then all of a sudden it comes to a head and kyle is like dory, you've got god gave you two ears and one mouth, so maybe you can listen. And she just goes no, kyle, maybe you can fucking listen and that's, the episode ends. So we still don't know how they're gonna get past this, how and if they're gonna get past this.

Speaker 1:

But this was a great episode and again, I'm loving the addition of Jennifer Tilly. I think that hope I don't think she's really going to get like too messy. But I see that I watch the aftershows. I don't know if you guys are watching these official aftershows on Peacock, but she is sassy, her and Sutton. I mean first of all they seem drunk, which is very possible, and they just are really going in about Dorit. So I think that as the tension and as things kind of start to like be a fight over the season, it's going to be clear that Sutton is going to not necessarily be on Kyle's side but be against Dorit's side, I think because of Garcelle. I think that it's not really her coming up for Kyle and taking it for Kyle, it's her just having Garcelle's back from last season. I think she's mad that Crystal got fired, maybe which is funny because Sutton didn't even like Crystal, who really knows. But you'll have to tune in next week and see.

Speaker 1:

Alright, guys, thanks for tuning in. Again, this was day four of my Advent calendar. I can't believe I'm only at day five and I'm already like shit. Am I going to hope I can get an episode out tomorrow? I'm picking friends up from the airport at 10 am. I'm going to the Rockefeller Tree Plaza tomorrow, so hopefully I will get an episode out tomorrow. If not, I'm going to have to do two the next day. So stay tuned and make sure that you're leaving reviews and rating and doing all the great things. Okay, great, thanks guys. Ciao, bellas.
