Speaker 1:

Welcome to Lacey's lineup, your go-to sports network, bringing you everything going on in the NFL and giving you a girl's opinion on what went wrong and what I think should have happened. This is a special week. Happy Thanksgiving, everybody. I just wanna take a little bit of time and tell you guys what I am most thankful for. I'm thankful for being able to live out my dream by talking sports with you each week. Thankful for the listeners that continued to support and follow the show and, most of all, thankful to my family, who believes in me every day. I'm beyond blessed and thankful for everything in my life. But since this is a holiday week, I thought we would switch it up a little bit and do what I am introducing as Lacey's Lightning Rounds of Week 11. Let me know if you liked this episode and if you wanna see more like this. What I will do is give myself two minutes to talk about anything that happened in Week 11, whether it was major games, big upsets, breaking news, you name it. I gotta condense it and get it all in within two minutes. So let's not waste any more time and start Lacey's Thanksgiving Lightning Round for Week 11.

Speaker 1:

First on the clock, let's talk about Thursday night football Bengals vs Ravens Two major injuries on both teams, first one being Joe Burrow, out for the season with a hand injury. Do you guys think that this injury was kinda lagging before this? There's been a lot of investigation, a lot of suspicion, because he was seen videoed with a brace on his hand entering into the game on Thursday night. I don't know. I think this could be the end of the Bengals guys Without Joe Burrow. Joe Cool, even an injured Joe Burrow. Now what I talked about in the first weeks, not having Joe Burrow at all I mean Browning is gonna get you to the post season, not taking anything away from Browning, but he's not Joe Burrow and I think the team knows that. I think the coaching staff knows that this is a scary situation for the Bengals to do anything this year. But Joe Burrow is out, browning is in. But during this game, before Joe Burrow went out, he went out after the first half. There wasn't really a good fluidity going. He was still keeping them in the game. I think it would have been a lot more interesting of a game if Joe Burrow would have stayed in the game in the second half, but he didn't, so they kinda ran away with it. The Ravens did in the second half, but Jamar Chase not the guy he was last year. Is this because of the inconsistency Joe Burrow being in out not happening? I don't know. Can they get it together? Can they rally around Jake Browning? Can they even make it to the post season? I don't see them going far now by any means. So I think their only goal is to make it to the post season and just have an appearance.

Speaker 1:

Like I said, ravens didn't do too much. Lamar was banged up as well. Their major injury was Mark Andrews. He got hurt in the first drive of the game ankle injury. He's out for the game and then I mean I would say, at least three to four weeks. So that puts them kind of in a scary situation.

Speaker 1:

You saw Lamar Jackson go down on his knee, not liking that. His favorite receiver, the guy he entered the league with, is out. Odell Beckham does nothing. I'm still not impressed with him. Think all the hype was wrong. Gus Edwards he did enough, but he wasn't as powerful as they thought he would be.

Speaker 1:

And are we still thinking the Ravens are a top team in the AFC? Lamar is showing that he's still inconsistent with his throws. He still has. I just don't know. I don't know. There's a lot of question marks now. I think their defense is a caliber team. They have the Chargers next in LA Herbert we'll talk about that in a little bit not really showing up, but this is a big game for them. Do we think they're still a top AFC team? Possibly, but Mark Andrews, joe Burrow out puts a big question mark for both of these teams. Re enhances the different fragmentation of the premium. Woo, that's fast timer guys. I gotta speed this up. Now I gotta talk about my Cowboys.

Speaker 1:

Cowboys and Panthers. Dak another impressive performance, not overwhelming, but mostly it was important. He took care of the ball. Pollard got finally utilizing him on the edge. He's still questionable for me, though, because it was a very depleted defensive line for the Panthers. He was able to create and hopefully it gave him some confidence and some motivation going into the next weeks. But I was happy they were utilizing him in different ways. I just want to see if that's still going to stand when they face a better defensive line. So running game is still very questionable for the Cowboys and I think that's what we're lacking.

Speaker 1:

To tell you the truth, terpin. Terpin was hurt, but he's coming in and he does a lot of things. He creates short yardage on a punt return. He's a great slot receiver. He reminds me a lot of Cole Beasley, but faster and, I think, more athletic. But I think we need to utilize Terpin more. Terpin is somebody we have and we're not using him to our advantage as much as we should. Still kind of wishy, I mean.

Speaker 1:

They kept it close the first half. I was kind of shocked that they were doing that with a team that's one and eight. You remember the Arizona Cardinals were not great with the one and eight. They were the type teams but we did pull away in the second half. Cd pretty quiet game for him, one touchdown but only 38 yards and six targets. So I was a little shocked to see CD covered and not looked at as much Again with a defense that isn't that strong. Cd should have had a heyday with that and he didn't. But he did his job. They did disperse the ball really well. Gallup getting more involved we're starting to see more Gallup. We thought he wasn't on the team anymore but he is and he's starting to show up and get some catches when needed. So overall I think it was a good game for the Cowboys, I think they're still building.

Speaker 1:

They separated themselves. They didn't keep it close, which they could have done in the past, keeping those games close like the Cardinals, and end up losing in the end. But Panthers are terrible. Thelan's frustrated. He had probably the best decent game. He's the only thing they got comfortable for him. Bryce Young still uncomfortable. I think he will be good in year two. He's just not going to have the rookie year that I'm sure he wanted. They need to use Miles Sanders more. He's a veteran, he knows how to run and they just aren't giving him the touches. He's behind Hubbard right now, so I just don't know why he's not getting more touches. But Cowboys have commanders on Thanksgiving. We can't overlook it. I know they traded almost everybody away. They looked awful against the Giants, but, cowboys, we got to take advantage of these wins and keep it close before our schedule gets a lot tougher Moving right along.

Speaker 1:

Third on the clock Brown Steelers. What a crazy game. It was exciting but it was hard to watch because it was a lot of sloppiness. It was the Deshaun-less Browns found a way to win. I thought it was going to be PJ Walker, but it was Dorian Thompson Robinson who got the start. He played overall a pretty decent game. It wasn't his best, but his drive at the end of the game for him I mean you could see the emotions on the sideline from him and how much this meant to him, so I was happy for him in that moment. They got the game winning field goal. With that drive Miles Garrett was brilliant. Once again. He definitely shows why he should be the most valuable player. He takes control of these games and he causes a lot of stress on offenses and puts them in a situation to win. If Miles Garrett can keep leading the defense and keeping these games close, I think it doesn't matter who they have at quarterback. They'll be able to make it a game and sometimes, like yesterday, pull out that win.

Speaker 1:

But what is going on with the Steelers? Pickett was such a hype in the pre-season and we really thought he was going to do a lot more than what he's doing. Is he not the answer? You're starting to see post game interviews like Najee Harris. They're getting very, very frustrated and it's starting to show kind of like the Raiders, but unlike the Raiders who kind of let that frustration build over times, they announced they fired Matt Canada, their offensive coordinator. So now they have moved on from Matt. They think that's what's to blame and we will see if that will help the Steelers or if they're just going to kind of start disappearing again and not be the Steelers that we're used to. So we'll see if these defenses can hold up. I mean you got now no offensive coordinator for the Steelers, no starting quarterback with the Browns. Let's watch and see if these teams can pull it together. I think they again. These goals are to get to the postseason. Can they get there? Next on the clock Cardinals Texans.

Speaker 1:

Cj Stroud continues to be impressive. Now he did show that he was human this past week. He actually threw three interceptions. But what made him non-human was he still found a way to win against the Cardinals. I mean this guy is just crazy. He's all over the place. You can tell he's still making rookie mistakes, but maturity on staying composed and finding ways to get his team to the finish line at the end of the game. I just thought he's just still so much fun to watch. You can't not help but love watching him.

Speaker 1:

Singletary is a stud. He's a huge fantasy point player. His you know difference in the game. He's got 22 carries for 112 yards, one touchdown, and then guys, who is Tank Dell, up and comer, making waves, becoming Stroud's favorite wide receiver? And now teams have to respect this guy. This guy is just going through, taken names, I mean he is. He's just coming at like that's what the Texans are doing. They're literally pulling people out of the woodwork and making them into people that have to be respected.

Speaker 1:

So do we still put Texans to make the postseason? Absolutely, I mean. They continue to find ways to win. They show that there is some weaknesses within them. You still have CJ Stroud making like one week he makes rookie mistakes. The next week he makes veteran crazy games and putting up stats that no one has ever seen before. So, yes, they have a great chance of making the postseason. It does make me sick, though, watching people say in this past week that they are the best team in the tech in Texas over my Dallas Cowboys. Let's not get crazy, I still. It would be funny to see them match up together, which I don't think we will see this year.

Speaker 1:

But Congrats to the Texans Cardinals. Not really much to talk about there. Kyla Murray is really just running around like crazy and kind of sporadic, but they don't have any weapons, nothing to throw to. So even though it was a great win and a comeback, I think you only win that game with three interceptions because you were playing the Cardinals. So we'll see if the Texans stay hot, all right.

Speaker 1:

Next up we have the Raiders Dolphins game. Not a lot to see here. Dolphins win with a last minute interception by Jalen Ramsey, which congrats to him. He's the only one on the defensive side that can actually do anything. But to me, dolphins are still on shaky ground. Their only saving grace is Cheetah. You know Tyree Kill. He had 10 receptions, 146 yards and one touchdown. But there was so much hype about getting H-hand back and in that game he got hurt again.

Speaker 1:

Most are started out strong in the year, but he's proving that he's not getting better as the weeks go on. So their run game is definitely taking a beating. I will say they still have one of the fastest offenses, probably mostly because of Tyree Kill. But Tua knows how to sling the ball so they can still produce numbers and maybe win. But once you start facing really good defenses and you don't have a defense that can stop a good offense, I think they're going to hit a lot of trouble. So to me.

Speaker 1:

I think the Dolphins are still a questionable mark for me. I think they peaked early in the season and now they're kind of plateaued. So will they peak again or will they start their decline? So we'll have to watch and see. Not too sure about the Dolphins, like I was in those first weeks Raiders, on the other hand, o'connell as a quarterback Again another quarterback who threw three interceptions Ouch, three seems to be the number for quarterbacks interceptions this week but unlike CJ Stroud he did not walk away with the end. That's what I'm just saying. That's what I'm talking about with the Dolphins. They just did not capitalize on those three interceptions. So that's why they're on shaky ground with me. But Devonte Adams, still not an impact but does seem happier after the Daniels firing, but still frustrated with the losses. I know in the back of his mind he still feels like this is a waste of a year when he's starting to hit those last seasons due to age and just being able to keep up. So I think the Raiders are now on their rebuild year. Unfortunately, I don't think we're going to see much more out of them. I think they're just trying to stay with a winning record. But I don't even see them go into postseason.

Speaker 1:

Whew, guys, these two minutes are flying by fast. I can barely catch my breath, but let's not stop now. The sixth on the clock is Bears Lions. What a game. Lions were out of this game early, or were they? Another quarterback throwing three interceptions, and that was golf. He was 23 at 35, 236 yards, but three interceptions. On the other side, justin Fields started off hot, getting more DJ Moore involved really early. But then here comes golf, find, st Brown and Williams with big touchdown catches to get them back in the game. Mount Gummery came through strong on the ground 12 carries, 76 yards, one touchdown. But Bears just folded. They panicked at the end and they just let golf have his day. I mean, what a comeback by the Lions. This is the first time that they are eight and two before Thanksgiving since 1962.

Speaker 1:

Lions fans have to be just on cloud nine right now. Normally they're on the side of not just getting losses, they're getting destroyed by teams, and now they are the ones destroying. They have the best record they've had in a really long time and they still have a shot to be the top NFC team, depending on how everybody finishes in these next weeks, you know, leading up before postseason. So messy game but showed huge stride to come back and win. They do play on a short week and they play on Thanksgiving Day against Packers, who we'll talk about in a second how they came back in one. But I think they have a really good shot to keep rolling with the kind of schedule that they have coming up. Lions fans, you guys keep rolling. Hopefully that roll stops whenever you face us on the 30th. But I have to say I'm happy for the Lions. I like what they're showing, that grit, and they've been exciting to watch. So we'll see how they finish down the stretch.

Speaker 1:

Alright, next game 8th on the clock Giants Commanders. Ummm, what, how did this happen? The Giants win this game 31-19. Devito, their Giants quarterback, got more comfortable. He had a day against a depleted defense 18 for 26, 246 yards and 3 touchdowns. You can't ask for a better, especially coming from what he was 3rd quarterback, 3rd backup quarterback. So happy for him. I think he is a good guy. I know his parents were there watching, but he came in and he played a great game.

Speaker 1:

But, guys, seguan Barclay is the man. He is so good, he creates so much. I feel bad for him that he's trapped on the Giants team because I think he could come in on a Super Bowl ready now team and literally get them over the Thresh Hield. And I even say that Can you imagine if Seguan Barclay was on the Dallas Cowboys right now and rounded out that run game? We would be unstoppable. But he is keeping these teams. He's winning these games just by himself. I mean, slayton finally had a good game.

Speaker 1:

Washington gave away their season at the trade deadline, traded literally all their defense away. How you ready for this? This seems to be a pattern. Three interceptions Three is definitely the number of these quarterbacks this weekend that struggled. He had a terrible game. Guys Like absolutely terrible. Robinson got a lot of touches like a lot of carries. So to me the carries outweigh and he did not have huge numbers on the ground. Giants, take that win. You know you love to win in conference. I don't think we're going to see a lot more wins with the Giants and the commanders. They have Dallas on Thanksgiving in Dallas. I pray it isn't a game, it shouldn't be, but I think the commanders are on their way to next season hopes. All right. Ninth on my clock.

Speaker 1:

What was the more impressive win, the 49ers over the Bucks or the Bills over the Jets. I don't think either one was really impressive. I think it was needed for both teams to have the games that they played. If I had to choose one, I guess I would go with the 49ers over the Bucks, just because the Bucks to offer than the Jets do. I mean, the Jets are a hot mess. They benched Zach Wilson again, and not only did they bench him, but now he is demoted to the third string quarterback, this kid. This might be the last time we ever see Zach Wilson play in the NFL. I don't know if he was just dealt a bad card. I don't know if his no one just believes in him. I don't know if his attitude has just been the demise of him, but they just are not happy with him and I don't think he brings value to any other team. I think people want to stay away from him.

Speaker 1:

49ers they beat Baker Mayfield. It did. It was closer for a while, but 49ers just never really panicked. They had their weapons. Purdy played a pretty good game, showing that he was back into the mix. They got their weapons. Like I said, if 49ers stay healthy, there's not going to be a lot of teams that can beat this team. I think the only time why they got their three losses is because they were depleted. They exposed Purdy. He didn't have his weapons, he you know they were hurting on the line but they went into the trade. They bulked up their pass rushers. They are rocking and rolling. They better beat the Eagles when they play them. That's the only time I'm going to root for them, but I definitely think that's more impressive.

Speaker 1:

I think the Bills they did better. Diggs was non-existent again, but it didn't seem like it's as big a deal when your team is putting up the numbers. Still think Josh Allen overdid it. Still, he's still trying to do way too much, but I will give him credit. He used his feet. He made some really good throws. Those jets are just a hot mess. I mean you've got to feel bad for the sauce gardeners. You know all the people that went in, like the Dalman Cooks, lazards, garrett Wilson, who just had all these high hopes having Aaron Rodgers as their quarterback and not having him all season and it just being the season that once was, I guess, for them just not what they envisioned. I know Jets fans are probably just trying to look away. It's just hard to watch. I just don't see the Jets getting it back together. Then they're talking about Aaron Rodgers being back. Why? Why come back when you have an offensive line like that and especially when you might not even make the postseason? I don't think Aaron Rodgers should hurry back and risk re-injury. I think he just needs to stay put and hopefully be back to help the Jets next year.

Speaker 1:

All right, next up we have Sunday Night Football Vikings Broncos. Broncos win this game 21-20. There was a lot of excitement in that game. I think there was a lot of chaos in that game. I was really rooting for Josh Dobbs, though I felt like he played the better game and you could tell how bad he wanted to win. The offensive line just could not hold up at the end of the game. He was getting too very fast. He couldn't get any plays off.

Speaker 1:

I definitely think they need Jefferson back immediately. I think they need that help. That will have to have respect, not allow so many pass rushers because they're going to have to double team. A guy like Jefferson Addison we had high hopes for, but he has been non-existent in these past couple of weeks. I don't know. I still like Dobbs.

Speaker 1:

I still think it was the right move when Kurt Cousins went down bringing in Josh Dobbs. He's probably the most athletic backup quarterback you can have. We question starting quarterbacks now. There's definitely not a lot of good backup quarterbacks that you could pick to go in and take over a game. I definitely think they went in and got the best available. He's athletic, he's extremely smart. He learned that our playbook in like two days and he came in and got big wins for him.

Speaker 1:

This was a little bit of a setback. I think this was a game they could have definitely taken and they let it slip through their hands. No credit away from Broncos. Broncos lost their first five games and then they went on to win their next five games. They're now five and five. Broncos are kind of back in it. Russell Wilson was starting to show glimpses of him when he was at Seattle. Sean Payton even though I don't really necessarily like him as a person, he's a coach that knows how to do stuff and he doesn't let factors come in.

Speaker 1:

I think it was a lot of wishy washy stuff in the beginning, but right now they're finding ways, you know Elevated, and Patrick Sartain is playing the way he used to. They're getting pressure fast on the ball and they're finding their players. They had a lot of good passes. They involved a lot of people. They're bringing just kind of like the Texans. They're bringing people out of the woodwork and making them have respect. So Broncos are on a hot streak right now. Can they maintain it? Possibly? I don't think they're playing, just they have no fear. And teams like that you just don't wanna play because they have no fear. They've lost already five. They don't care. I mean they care about losing, but you know what I mean. They're not afraid of losing because they've done it. So they're just gonna go out there, throw the whole playbook at you and they're going to do whatever it takes. And right now, these past five weeks, it's working for them. We'll see what the Broncos have in store for us next week.

Speaker 1:

All right, my last on the list for Lacey's Lightning Week is the Eagles Chiefs Monday night. Oh, like the Chiefs had it. Like what is going on with the Chiefs? Can no one catch the ball in the Chiefs organization? I mean, patrick Mahomes has to be just so frustrated. He was throwing dimes all night. Travis Kelsey is still on Argentina time Caused a huge fumble in the end zone or not in the end zone but in the red zone.

Speaker 1:

And then I will say Patrick Mahomes threw that one interception in the red zone, but that's 14 points right there that they could have easily gotten At least six points right, like if they couldn't convert it into a touchdown. But man, like no one can catch the ball, I think they had like five huge drops. There were so many chances to win. Valda scantling, oh, like that, that couldn't have been placed any better. I don't know what he was doing, I don't know what he was thinking, and that would have been the game winning touchdown and you could have walked away with a win, but you let it fall out of your hands. It was happening all night. I mean you just kept seeing. I mean it was like the emotions of Patrick Mahomes. He's all excited and then he's like what I can't believe.

Speaker 1:

They dropped it Even on fourth and 25 to end the game. He steps up and delivers a bullet right into the hands of Watson and Watson lets it go through his hand. That's a first down. You couldn't have asked for a better play right there and for your quarterback to deliver it in your hands and you let it slip out of your hand. So whew, I mean the Eagles once again.

Speaker 1:

I'm not saying that they didn't do everything. They, it's just their luck. I think the refs still favor them in a lot of ways. There was crazy that they didn't call obvious calls. They just let the Eagles skate by. I don't know why they love the Eagles so much, but even the outside of the refs the luck of the Eagles.

Speaker 1:

When the Cowboys played the Eagles, remember when we stripped Jalen Hertz and the ball just bounced right back to them. Well, last night they stripped it from him and the ball literally just laid on the ground and Jalen just was able to pick it up. That's just the luck that they're having. The only drive they had was at the end of the game, which I can't take credit away because that's when you need it. You know, when they delivered that ball to Devonte Smith, they only had two push pushes and one of them didn't even convert into anything, and then the other one was obviously to score that last touchdown on the one yard line. But the Eagles are just once again given a win by a team that shot themselves in the foot.

Speaker 1:

I mean, this was not an impressive win by the Eagles. It will go down like that because they beat the Chiefs in Arrowhead. But the Chiefs beat the Chiefs. Like it's so frustrating to watch and you just have to scratch your head Like when will these teams show up to play and stop letting the Eagles just skate by with another win and make their record look like they're untouchable and they're really not? It's crazy to see. I really thought the Chiefs were gonna pull this one out for me as a Dallas Cowboy fan, but they failed. And now the Chiefs to me are a question mark. I mean, the only thing Patrick Mahomes can't do is he can't throw and catch. That's just where the struggle is gonna happen. If he can't get anyone in that locker room to catch, they're gonna not be able to be. You know their goal of repeating Super Bowl champions and they're gonna struggle and I don't think they make it very far in the post season.

Speaker 1:

Woo guys, I am out of breath. That lightning ground, that was a lot to get in in those two minutes. I probably should have set that for maybe three minutes just to allow myself a little bit to breathe. But I had fun. It was fun to kind of jam pack everything. I was able to cover more games. So I hope you guys enjoyed it. I might do this again. So let me know your thoughts if you enjoyed kind of more content, jam packed and cover more of the NFL. So.

Speaker 1:

But before I leave, I always still gotta do my worst of the week and the worst of the week outside of. You know all the. You know like the commanders looking terrible. You know the teams that just aren't expected to win. The ones that were supposed to have a better performance that just did not show up. For me was the chiefs. I mean it was just bad. There was so many opportunities to win. I know I just went over it. No one can catch in that organization.

Speaker 1:

Mahomes cannot go catch his own throws. He couldn't have put it any more in his receiver's hands and it was just drop after drop after drop. Was it because Taylor Swift wasn't in the stands? Was it because Kelsey traveled to Argentina on his bye week and hadn't really recovered and got back on US time yet? But he has not been a factor and he made a lot of costly, especially that fumble at the end. But this was a game that they should have won. They could have won and they just didn't. They just looked like a hot mess. And now the Mahomes chiefs. I don't see repeating a Super Bowl champion.

Speaker 1:

But on the other side, you'll be surprised with my best of the week, because it wasn't the best performance, but by far a team effort to bounce back and come back. And yes, my best of the week is the Detroit Lions. It wasn't pretty. There was a you know three interceptions thrown. They dug themselves a huge hole. But when they needed it they came together, they snuck back into the game and Walked away with a win. So it wasn't pretty, but man, did they turn it on and find a way out of the hole that they dug, which gives me the reason to give them my best of the week.

Speaker 1:

And Now for Lacey's top five. After week 11, number five has to go to the Lions. I just gave them my best of the week, but they have the best record they've had since 1962 and they have confidence that they can win these games. So makes them very deadly. Leading into the last part of the season, going into the postseason, they are trying to get home-filled advantage and I don't think they're gonna stop. So they are getting my number five.

Speaker 1:

Number four Dallas Cowboys. I am giving them credit. I know if you listen to Stephen A, he's talking about how they've been on Bi weeks because of the teams that they're playing. But these are the teams we struggle against and we're starting to show maturity. We're separating, we're putting up big numbers, we're getting a lot of people involved. The thing that's gonna hurt us the most is the big question mark with our run game. We cannot win it all in the air, but we won't know that until we face another good team which we're about to enter into in the next couple of weeks and see how we do against that. But as of now they're maturing, they're doing what they need to do against these teams with losing records. So they get my top four number three Baltimore Ravens.

Speaker 1:

I know it wasn't the game we were all expecting to see. He did lose mark Andrews, but that defense is coming in strong. They lost Joe Burrow, so I don't know if it would have been more of a game, but they came in even with a banged up Lamar. I still think his consistency in throwing has gotten much better, but it's still not the best he made. He missed a lot of throws that a Quarterback should make. So we'll see, but right now they are on the trend up, so I got to keep them at number three.

Speaker 1:

Number two Gotta go to the 49ers. They're getting healthy. They know how to win. They have Unlimited weapons on both offense and defense. They picked up chase young in the trade deadline, which only helped their defense even more, so they're the scary team in the NFC right now. I definitely, definitely think that I think the big matchup with the Eagles 49ers hopefully they won't revenge from last year and that only happened because they lost their quarterback and you know they were banged up in that game so they can stay healthy. They'll ride this all the way to the end. And number one guys when am I ever gonna get to change this? Another lucky break, the Eagles way, which keeps them Alone at the top with the best record in the NFL. I Know it's not all the teams, but the teams are shooting themselves in the foot when they play the Philadelphia Eagles. The Chiefs had them where they wanted them. They were up 10 at halftime and they didn't score again. And it wasn't because of the Eagles doing that much, they just had to be out there. It was the drop passes. They were wide open. So that's why they're definitely not in my top five this week, but gotta give it to the Eagles this week again. Hopefully they are in their big stretch of their hard games, but they're playing two hard teams at home, so will that benefit them again? We'll see. But they round out my top five. All right, guys.

Speaker 1:

This is normally part of the episode where I introduced my son Skyler to give his predictions for the week 12, but unfortunately he's feeling a little under the weather this week so I am going to do the predictions for him this week. So with that week 12 Predictions are Thanksgiving Day we have the Packers and the Lions. I think the Lions keep coasting. I think they have momentum. They are gonna bring that from their comeback just in a short week and I think they take the Packers by eight. Next you have Cowboys and the Commanders. This better not be a game. Cowboys better destroy the Commanders once again. Like I said, commanders Throw away all their defense. Cowboys should have a heyday, should be a great Thanksgiving, and they should win this by 17. Thanksgiving night you have the 49ers and Seahawks. Seahawks are now without Gino Smith who got injured in last week's game, so makes this definitely not even a game. As far as matchups, I don't think they can withstand the 49ers. I think the 49ers easily win this by 10.

Speaker 1:

Now for our first black Friday NFL game. This is exciting. You got Garth Brooks performing a lot of hype around this game. Just don't love the teams that are playing in it. You have the Dolphins and Jets. Jets are a hot mess. Dolphins, this is a confidence builder for you. You should easily win this game by 12, followed by the Broncos and the Browns. I think the Broncos keep rolling. I think the Browns defense might give them a little bit of trouble, but I think the Broncos are on. You know their run right now. Can it with staying? Well, we will see. But I think it's gonna be a closer game. But I got Broncos by four.

Speaker 1:

Then Sunday night football I have Ravens versus the Chargers. I think that this is gonna be my upset of the week. I think the Chargers are gonna find a way to win. I think they're frustrated. They realize they have so much talent. I think they're gonna be playing for themselves. If it is a coaching issue, I think the players take it into their own hands and I think this is gonna be their saving grace for the season.

Speaker 1:

It definitely stays close, but I'm taking the Chargers by three and to round out the Thanksgiving weekend of games, monday night football bears Vikings. I Think this will be a close game, but I think the Vikings are heartbroken after letting a game slip away. Josh Dobbs, like I said, is the best quarterback they could have picked up. I think he's gonna find a way to win and I think they're gonna win by seven. And that does it for Lacey's special edition lightning round Thanksgiving week 11. I Hope you guys enjoyed it. I hope you guys all have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I know I'm thankful for all of you and I can't wait to be back next week to talk more football. Until then, your girl is signing off.
