A new environment, whether it's an office, a career, And even a new home, a new relationship, or even a new gym, there's always a different energy. Even like new clothes, like you realize when you buy new clothes, there's a different energy. When things are fresh, you have a new sense of enthusiasm in your life. And there's an excitement that happens when you have new surroundings. And I believe. This can completely reignite your goals in a totally different way. Welcome to the Raquel Show. This show is for entrepreneurs who want to play bigger in business and in life. And I always want to say thank you for hanging out with me today on this quick episode. Thank you for all your shares, all your reviews, and for sharing it with the world because it truly keeps our podcast going. Lately, I have been on the go. I had joked with someone earlier this month that I'm all probably in In Arizona, 10 days this month, and since summer has started with my kids, I've been on six trips and four more to go. And I believe as entrepreneurs, we kind of go through the motions and build our businesses day in and day out. So when we can find a way. To be there for special moments, let's be intentional about them. Cause when we look back, the special ones that are close to us, truly only want our time and speaking of special moments last week, I got to celebrate a special milestone with my new brokerage reel. Sometimes when we're on the go, go, go as entrepreneurs, we truly forget to pause and celebrate. Let's make it a point to celebrate not only the big wins, but also the small wins. And last week I got to be part of a big win on so many levels. I had joined the company about a year and a half ago because I believed in what they were doing, how they were going to be different in the industry, and I believed in their leadership. They are the most humble and most kind leaders that I have ever met. And it is no wonder a year and a half in I got to be part of a special milestone as we celebrated our 10 year anniversary at NASDAQ. And we also crossed over 20, 000 agents. It was a bucket list and such a cool experience that I will always remember for the rest of my life. To be in a building, to speak at the event, to be on Times Square. At the big screens and to share it with my friends, my partners has all been so real that I'm actually still processing it. I remember the last time that I was invited to the stock exchange. I couldn't go. It was for an organization that I'm a part of, which is ARIA. And to be invited at the NASDAQ building. I knew I was not going to miss it. And here's what I realized in that special moment out of 20, 000 agent. And there's a reason why we are the fastest growing publicly traded company. I'm not the biggest producer, nor am I the agent that provides the most contribution to our company. So to be chosen was an absolute honor. And here's what I believe. It doesn't matter what brokerage you're at. It doesn't matter the environment that you're at. But what I believed is that your character, your relationships around you matter. So in this episode, I want to dive into a topic that can completely impact your journey, your growth, and your success is changing environments. We often underestimate the power of our surroundings and the people we surround ourselves with, whether it's a change in where you work, a career change, your brokerage, your inner circle, or even hiring a coach. Altering your environment can lead to incredible transformation and success. It's normal to be worried or to be scared or to have doubts when you're considering a change. You see, you want to be comfortable. Your brain wants to feel comfortable or to feel safe and secure. You want to remove all the risks so you weigh out all the pros and the cons and the fear of the unknown can sometimes be paralyzing. And you wonder, are you making the right decision? Am I making the right decision, Raquel? But If you're stagnant, or you're hitting a ceiling, or you're feeling like you're not growing fast enough, you may want to consider a change, even if it's scary. You'll never know until you try. Just what if, just what if the decision that you made was better than what you expected? And there's a reason why you thought about it. So listen to that inner voice. Here's five reasons on how an environment change can actually level you up in all areas of your life. Number one, it exposes you to new opportunities. A new environment can expose you to new opportunities you wouldn't have encountered otherwise. This can advance your business and it can even change your personal growth experience when you are part of something bigger that's constantly innovating and you're seeing growth. It's something you may want to look at. If I was to build a team under our current real estate model in the boundaries of our company, then when I first started, I wonder where I would be. And trust me, I would be lying to you if I was you. Itching not to do it, right? There have been so many different opportunities that have been presented since I've changed my environments because we aren't doing things the old school way. You not only see this in brokerages or in offices or in workplace changes, you see this when you also join new circles, such as masterminds. Number two is when you change environment, breaking old habits See, changing environments can help you break unproductive habits and establish new, healthier routines. When you are in a new setting, this often is a pattern interrupt. It disrupts your patterns and it encourages new behaviors. So when I made the brokerage change, what I had been doing in an office for 23 years how to change Now being part of a cloud brokerage, my team and I have learned the power of technology on a whole nother level. We have a network of agents across North America that exposed me to new people, and I appreciate the quick response from our team, from our brokers, and using AI to find things and get paid quickly. So when you change environments, you can break old routines, you can break old habits, and you can learn new ones that can actually make you way more productive because a new environment immediately makes you think differently and you are forced to learn new things. Number three is when you change environments, you get a renewed sense of energy and motivation. A new environment, whether it's an office, a career, And even a new home, a new relationship, or even a new gym, there's always a different energy. Even like new clothes, like you realize when you buy new clothes, there's a different energy. When things are fresh, you have a new sense of enthusiasm in your life. And there's an excitement that happens when you have new surroundings. And I believe. This can completely reignite your goals in a totally different way. This is where I see so much growth when people change environments. Number four is proximity is power. When you change environments, you expand your circle. Being close to influential, successful, and driven individuals. Where you can network across North America brings incredible relationships and resources. This can significantly elevate your growth and get you to your goals faster. My circle today is probably the best it's ever been in 25 years of being in this industry. And the people I spend time with and the people I decide to go into business with or coach I couldn't be more excited. I love every single one of them. and I think one of the most important things you can do for your business and for your life is to get into new rooms, even in rooms where you don't feel like you're qualified to be in. This will give you the fastest path to exposure of what's absolutely possible. And number five is when you change environments, you get great accountability. When you're in a new environment, especially with high achievers who believe in abundance. There is a culture of accountability. This can push you to stay on track with your goals or even elevate you to get to your goals faster as you surround yourself by people who expect and encourage excellence. You see, my friends, we have less than six months in the year and just in six months, What if your next six months would be better than your first six months of 2024 by just changing your environment? When you change your environment, It can completely impact your growth and success. I promise you, it will bring you new opportunities. It'll help you break old habits. It will give you new energy and motivation. It leverages the power of proximity. And it enhances accountability on so many levels. Embracing all of these can lead to a more fulfilled life and elevate you in all areas. And trust me when I tell you it's scary to make a change, but what if the change you made was better than expected? Just like it was with mine.
