if you stay consistent this month, you won't even recognize yourself by the time summer hits, I promise you the pressure you feel. Understand that it's a privilege. I always tell my kids, pressure is a privilege. The discomfort that you feel, it's growth knocking at your door, and I want you to answer it. I want you to embrace it. Welcome back to the Raquel Show. This show is for entrepreneurs who want to play bigger in business and in life, and I can't believe it's officially May, and today's message is simple, but powerful and maybe a little vulnerable. You know, may is a month. That I've always designated for momentum. If you've been waiting for the right time to kick things into gear, to finally create the habits, the results, the breakthroughs you want, well, this is it. Because momentum is a choice. It's not luck, it's not timing. It's built by what you do daily. Not occasionally. And today I wanna walk you through how to make may the month you finally build unstoppable momentum, no matter where you're starting from. And if I'm being honest, this past year has been one of the most hardest, the most difficult seasons of my life. And I want to take a second to say, had it not been for this podcast, for all of you who continue to listen to message me, to share your encouragement, I'm not sure I would've kept going the way I did. You remind me of why this work matters. You remind me that even when life feels so heavy. There's still purpose in showing up, and I am so grateful for all of you, You know, when my mom's health started declining about a year ago, everything changed. It's one thing to manage a busy life, not only a busy business, but also a busy sports mom life. It's another thing entirely when life hands you something that you just can't control. Suddenly, all the things that once felt urgent. Didn't anymore. My priorities shifted, my energy had shifted, and I had to make a hard choice to take a step back from speaking engagements, from events, from even taking on less coaching clients, and even posting consistently. I. And I'll tell you behind the scenes, it wasn't managing all the things, managing the grief and processing it all. It was navigating through all the layers that come with it, from hospice to doctors, to caretakers, to family dynamics, and even opinions. And here's what I know, is that unless someone has walked in your shoes. They can never truly understand the weight of it. I had to work with a therapist to release lots of emotions, opinions, the judgment, the noise, because opinions are easy when you are not living it daily, but walking through it is a whole nother different story, and through all of that. I gotta tell you, something powerful changed. I found a new fire. A fire to be stronger than ever. A fire to build something meaningful, to create collaborations that felt aligned and to go All in on what matters the most, and it reminded me that sometimes it's the moments that break you open that create the greatest momentum. The driveway's always there, but now it's stronger, it's clearer. It's more urgent than ever, and that's why I believe May can be so pivotal for not just me, but for you too. May isn't too late. May isn't already over May. Is your momentum month. And I truly believe that there are no coincidence in life because these last couple of weeks there have been people that have come from the woodworks, people that have reached out for opportunities and. I believe that it's a sign and there's still plenty of time to make 2025 your best year ever because it starts with deciding to move. It starts with choosing to build your momentum now. And let's zoom out for a second. May isn't just another month. It is the last full month before all the summer distractions hit, and I know my month of May is lots of things going on, especially with graduation. Graduation parties, basketball tournaments, you name it. May is a month that separates the business. That coast from the ones that compound. If you truly get intentional about may, you can generate leads that close during the summer months. You can build systems that free you up when you're scrambling. And you can create momentum that carries you through Q3, stronger than ever May is your leverage month, and I'll tell you May is going to be your multiplier month, but only if you treat it that way. So I wanna get tactical because momentum isn't just a mindset, it's built through moves your momentum playbook for me. Number one is I want you to pick one core priority. What's that one thing that if you stayed focused on it daily for the next 30 days, would change your business and it would also change your life? Is it a focus lead generation plan? Is it launching your new division? Is it finishing a new system? Is it maybe even hiring somebody? Because clarity creates momentum. Number two is I want you to commit to 30 days. Yes, 30 days of consistent action. There is no, I'll do it when I feel like it. I want you to decide your non-negotiable daily action, and I want you to protect it. As an example. 30 minutes of focused lead generation every day no matter what. number three is simplify to amplify. I want you to cut the noise. Most people stall because they're juggling way too many priorities. I want you to narrow your focus to one or two moves that matter most and watch how fast you move. And number four is stack micro wins. Celebrate all the small progress, five new leads. I want you to celebrate it. Or even like one dm, I want you to celebrate it a better morning routine. You better celebrate it because the more you acknowledge movement, the more you reinforce it. And number five is I want you to audit your energy weekly. Every Sunday, ask yourself, where am I gaining energy? Where am I leaking energy? And I want you to adjust accordingly. Momentum isn't just magic, it's a muscle. The more you practice showing up, even when you don't feel like it, trust me, I've gone through this this past year. I think the more you learn to move forward. Even when it feels small, the stronger that muscle gets, because guess what? Momentum compounds and the gap between stuck and skyrocketing is usually 30 to 60 days of consistent focus action. My friends, you're closer than you think. You don't need more time. You just need clarity and that daily motion to move forward. Before we wrap up today, I wanna remind you, you don't have to have all the things figured out to create momentum. You just have to be willing to take that next small step. And then the next one, one foot after another, and then the next one after that. Because momentum is a decision, not a feeling. It's about stacking your daily wins when nobody is watching and trusting those moves, those habits and those choices are building something greater then you can see right now in this moment. So if you stay consistent this month, you won't even recognize yourself by the time summer hits, I promise you the pressure you feel. Understand that it's a privilege. I always tell my kids, pressure is a privilege. The discomfort that you feel, it's growth knocking at your door, and I want you to answer it. I want you to embrace it. I appreciate you all hanging out with me on another. Quick, no fluff episode.
