Welcome back to another episode of The Raquel Show. This show is for entrepreneurs who want to play bigger in business and in life. Now, if you have been following along on our last episode, we had talked about how to audit your business before you plan the next one. And I know so many of you guys are getting ready to dive into your 2026 business plan of like setting your goals and building out all your strategies or what your team's going to look like or even some cultural things or how to retain your agents, I want you to think about this. Here's the truth of what most people miss is your business plan does not create your results. You do. It's not about the pretty business plan, the spreadsheet, the tracker, the calendar that builds success.
It is, believe it or not the habits, the mindset, the attributes you bring to it every single day. So in this episode, we're going beyond the business plan. We're talking about the operating system behind it, the upgraded version of you that actually execute on what you wrote down, because that's the hardest part that most people miss is it is so easy to come up with a business plan. It is so easy to come up with a goal, but executing on it, that's where the drop off is because it's not about doing more. It's about becoming more. And maybe for some of you, it's stepping into a new identity. So this one is going to be about alignment. It's going to be about exposing you to your next level.
And I've created more business plans than I can even count for myself, for my team, for my coaching clients. And I used to think success was all about strategy the perfect goal tracker, the color coded plan, the step by step execution. But then I started to notice something. Two agents could have the same exact plan and one would crush it and the other one would be burned out or say stuck. And I'm like, why does this happen? It's the same exact plan. So what's the difference? It's the mindset, the consistency and the identity.
One, approach the plan like a CEO, disciplined, focused, and super intentional. And the other approached it as a salesperson. I hate to say this. Reactive, emotional, and inconsistent. I hate to say it, but you know it's true.
Then that's when it hit me that the real business plan isn't on paper. It's your operating system that you run and kind of like an iPhone that gets upgraded every so many months. If you upgrade your mindset, your habits, your standards, guess what? Your results will follow. And so I want to break it down into four pillars that can transform your business plan from words on paper into real results.
- Number one, it starts with mindset, the foundation of your operating system.
- Number two is habits, the invisible engine that drives consistency.
- And number three is your attributes, the traits of high performing agent CEOs.
- And number four, of course, your environment.
The container that shapes your behavior. So let's kick it off with mindset. Your business can only grow into the level of your mindset. And I need you to ask yourself is, do I think like a CEO or do I react like an agent? When things get hard, do you retreat or do you recalibrate? Do you see obstacles as a failure or do you see them as feedback? Your mindset determines your decision and your decision determines your destiny.
And if you want to level up in your income, you have to level up in your inner dialogue. So that mindset is so important. Start replacing. I hope it works with, I'm going to make it work. I'm behind with, I'm building momentum. Your language is your leadership and leadership. Guess what? It starts with you. So the next pillar is habits. Everyone talks about goals. Few talk about habits and boy, is this so crucial because habits are where the results actually come from. It's in your daily routine, whether it reinforces your vision or erodes it. And here's the secret. You don't rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems. Your habits are your systems. So here's what I want you to think about.
What do my mornings look like? And I'm not talking about this long morning routine of you plunging, getting into the sauna. Some of you guys have very short routine and it works. You got to find a routine that works.
How do I prep for my day? And then what are my non-negotiables that anchor my energy? Winning days create winning weeks and winning weeks create winning months. And that's how you hit every single target you set in your plan. So the next thing that I want to talk about is attributes. Who are you becoming? Every next level of your business requires a new level of you. My mentor used to say new level, new devil, and it's not what you do. It's about who you are.
Here are the core attributes I see in every high performing agent CEO I coach. They're super disciplined and they will choose discipline over motivation, self-trust over perfection. They don't care if it's messy as long as it gets done because it will give them feedback on how they can make revisions later. Emotional regulation under pressure. This one's a big one. I can always tell when people are under pressure, how they handle business. And the next one is they focus on needle movers, not noise. I will tell you that every high performer that I have ever coach, they think about how do I win the hour or how do I win the day?
And every day is a new day to create results. And the last is ownership instead of excuses. So write those down if you have a pen and paper, because these aren't personality traits. They are trainable skills. You can learn them. And the more you embody them, the more your results compound. And the last pillar is environment. This is so important because it is the container for your growth. So if you have felt like you haven't had the greatest years, look at your environment. Your environment is a silent multiplier of your success, who you're around, what you consume, what you tolerate.
You can't expect to have a seven figure business in low frequency environments. Sorry, ain't gonna happen. And when you're surrounded by negativity, by distractions and chaos, it doesn't matter how good your business plan is.
You're going to stay stuck. And that's where community matters. That's where proximity matters.
