B!tch Bet Podcast
New episodes on 28th! Healing & growth are on going things. You have to work on them consistently. You have to get used to giving yourself a hard look. You have to decide if you want better for yourself. You have to choose yourself. But no one ever said that you have to do it by yourself. Or in the quiet.
This podcast encourages people to shine a light on the darkest parts of their mind, by doing that myself. It also encourages them to want to be the best versions of themselves, for themselves. Sometimes it is not very fun or enjoyable, but sometimes it is also what needs to be done.
In case no one has told you today, you are enough. You didn’t do anything wrong. You weren’t the problem. You have always been enough.
I could even say that my main goal is to make sure that I am not the same person that raised me. It stops with me.

E13 - “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?/Who Says/F**kin’ Perfect”
We have video ladies & gentlemen! Video is available on YouTube & Rumble!
This episode I talk about my decision behind making the switch from audio to video. I also talk about my journey with my own body image & how in recent months I have started making strides towards being nicer to myself.
When it came picking the song for this episode, I had one song in mind the entire time I was making this episode, but then as I was editing two more songs came to mind. I couldn’t pick between the three, so since it’s my podcast & I can do what I want, I decided that I didn’t have to choose. I also couldn’t have picked three better women to help me represent this episode because they are all inspiring in their own ways, beautiful inside & out. Their songs have held my hands throughout the years.
“I want to snarl and show you just how disturbed this has made me You wouldn't last an hour In the asylum where they raised me”
- Taylor Swift
This was the original solo title of this episode because when I had the realization about myself, this was the song that immediately popped into my head. Because honestly, who’s afraid of little old me? It just brought in the right type of energy for this month’s episode. I also really connect with the above lyrics because I have said multiple times throughout my life, that certain people wouldn’t have been able to survive what I had to go through. I also with this being E13, it almost felt wrong not to do a Taylor Swift song. IYKYK.
“Who says, who says you're not perfect? Who says you're not worth it? Who says you're the only one that's hurting? Who says you're not pretty? Who says you're not beautiful? Who says you're not star potential? Who says you're not presidential? Who says you can't be in movies? Who says you don't pass the test? Who says you can't be the best? Who said, who said? Won't you tell me who said that?”
- Selena Gomez & The Scene
Picking the lyrics from this song was difficult because I just love this song as a whole and think that it is such a beautiful reminder, especially for women. When this song came out, I was still very much in the thick of the verbal onslaught that I would receive in my house, but finding this song at that age was like a breath of fresh air. It really helped me to try to see my own beauty and to accept myself as is. Took me many years later to actually start making progress, but better late than never. We are all beautiful.
“Pretty, pretty please, don't you ever, ever feel Like you're less than fuckin' perfect Pretty, pretty please, if you ever, ever feel Like you're nothin', you're fuckin' perfect to me You're so mean when you talk About yourself, you were wrong Change the voices in your head Make them like you instead”
- P!nk
Also just another great reminder for women everywhere! I really felt like she was talking directly to me the first time I heard this song. As I said in E1, songs find you when you need them to and this song found me. I’m pretty sure I had this song on repeat for a few days because I really just needed her to tell me that I was fucking perfect just as I was and still am.
