Inky Thoughts
You are not a viking - Isar (Peter) Oakmund
Hello Inky Thinkers!
Welcome to the fifth episode of the Inky Thoughts Podcast
In this episode I take a deep dive into Nordic tattooing or what many, perhaps mistakenly call "viking tattoos", which you will learn exactly why might not really be what they are, when enjoying this episode.
I will be discussing historical knolwedge, runelore and much more throughout this episode
I am of course not doing this myself, I am joined by fellow Dane (although he lives in the north of England currently) and incredible tattoo artist and expert on nordic tattoo lore, Isar (Peter) Oakmund, who tattoos out of his own studio Northern Black, in a place called Whitley Bay. Peter has made it his mission to educate people on nordic tattoo lore and to let you know, exactly why you are not a viking (you may have seen him on social media).
But also, why that is not exactly a bad thing.
There is love, laughter, deep discussion and something to learn!
Please enjoy and share with your friends, family, pets and anyone else into tattoos!
