Tattooed Academics 4 - Robert Schafer
Hello Inky Thinkers and welcome to the 30th episode of the podcast
This time around we are going back to the sub-series "Tattooed Academics" with its fourth installment. As always, this series is all about showing what scientists and academics can also look like, and how being yourself does not make you less skilled or less of an expert in your chosen field. It can even lead to greater passion and commitment.
This time, I am joined by a man that embodies passion and punk ruck, molecular cell biologist, Robert Schafer, who looks like the embodiment of what you would have never imagined a scientist to look like.
Despite wearing the uniform, so to speak, of a white lab coat for his job. Robert also sports a mohawk, head tattoos, a split tongue and nose gauges, just to name a few things. But as passionate as he is about his body mods, he is just as passionate about his work, just enjoy the full episode if you do not believe me.
As always, there is love, laughter, deep discussion, and something to learn!
Please enjoy and share with your friends, family, pets, and anyone else into tattoos!
