Inky Thoughts
Not Just Another Hole in the Wall - Jessie Silva
Hello Inky Thinkers and welcome to the 32nd episode of the podcast
This time around we are going to talk about women owned and run tattoo studios, as well as women in the tattoo world and industry, and why it is still important to have tattoo studios owned and run by marginalized groups in the tattoo world.
I am of course not doing this alone, thanks to former guest Katie Mizuno introducing us, I have had the pleasure of inviting along Jessie Silva to the podcast. Jessie has tattooed for well over a decade and went from humble beginnings in a family studio, to opening up her own studio, that is female owned and run from the artist to the manager. But, if you want to know more about her journey and why this is indeed important, you should really enjoy the fully episode. Jessie and I had a blast, and I am sure you will too, and perhaps even learn something.,
As always, there is love, laughter, deep discussion, and something to learn!
Please enjoy and share with your friends, family, pets, and anyone else into tattoos!
