Ep.47 Kevin Nolan
Kevin Nolan is a Nashville based multi-instrumentalist, producer, and songwriter. Most notably, Kevin has been playing guitar and keys with Lainey Wilson since 2019, performing on the CMA awards, the ACM awards, the CMT awards, Late Night with Jimmy Kimmel, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, The Today Show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, Nashville New Years Eve Live, while also appearing in Season 5 of the hit TV show Yellowstone as a band member for Lainey’s character, Abby.
In 2019, Kevin toured extensively with rock/soul artist Jessy Wilson on the heels of her debut solo release Phase. Since moving to Nashville in 2015, Kevin has enjoyed working relationships on stage and in the studio with artists like Steve Everett, Them Vibes, Maggie Rose, Brandon Whyde, Tim Easton, Tommy Scifres, Willie Morrison, Paul Pfau, Jason Martin, Anna Rose, Alex Rahal, Nate Fredrick and others.
Starting in 2008, Kevin and his brother Matt (drums) spent the better part of 10 years as members of The Morrison Brothers Band. The D.C. area Hometown Heroes moved to Nashville together in January of 2015, recording and touring for another 3 years before disbanding in 2018.
In addition to both being in Lainey Wilson’s band, Kevin and Matt have a rock n’ roll project called Rude Music. Their debut LP Dog Days was digitally released in early 2022. That same year, Kevin released his own jazz trio project Full English, which was recorded in the Spring of 2021.
