Charles McCullough talking to Mr. John Kramer, the proud father of Gavin. Man, uh, it's an honor to meet you. First of all, sir, you're a good man and look like you've been doing some powerlifting yourself. But you're here to uh attend and support uh Gavin tonight, and uh she must get that hitting and blocking ability from her mom and her dad.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, she gets it uh from her, I say from both, I guess. Yeah, both. Uh she did a lot of jumping when she was young, so you know, she and volleyball seems to be uh the sport for her. You know, it's she's uh she's taken off with it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, she told me the other day I had her on the radio, and uh, Miss Gavin said that uh she was always jumping around when she was a little girl, and you just confirmed that, Mr. Brainerd.
SPEAKER_00Jumping around, playing basketball, tennis, uh dancing, whatever. You know, she's in all sorts of uh activities.
SPEAKER_01What gave you the impression that volleyball was gonna be the sport she finally was gonna choose? Because I think she could probably play anyway.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I wanted her to play basketball because you know she's kind of tall. Yeah. And I used to love to go out there and watch her play basketball, and then she played, she tried her hand at tennis. Right, tennis. Yeah. But volleyball was the one that uh that stuck and uh where she showed the most ability and uh was was the best at best you know, best uh sport for her.
SPEAKER_01I know that's right. Man, John Kramer, God bless you. Uh I tell you what, uh uh this is the first day of fall. In fact, uh as I'm talking to you, I think it's coming in right about now. It's an actual thing out there in the universe. But um uh and uh it's gonna get a little bit cooler, but this gym's gonna get hot tonight with uh Gavin blocking everything down, I'm telling you. John Kramer, uh it's an honor to have you uh uh right here sitting next to the radio man tonight. God bless you, and um it's an honor to meet you. It's a pleasure to be here. Pleasure to be here. Pleasure to meet you as well. Oh, yes. Hey, if the the honor's all mine. Anything else you'd like to add, sir, about uh little Gavin, not so little anymore. They grow up fast. My son's 39 years old, I got a daughter, 41. Believe me, they they grow up fast.
SPEAKER_00Just wishing her the best and uh just looking forward to uh to seeing her grow and progress and just uh become the become the you know the special special person she is to just keep keep progressing and keep uh blossoming.
