Vacation Showdown: Three Friends Debate America's Best Travel Spots
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
What makes the perfect vacation? Is it the relaxation of white sand beaches, the excitement of theme parks, or the cultural richness of America's great cities? In this lively debate, three friends with wildly different travel preferences face off in the ultimate vacation bracket challenge.
Starting with sixteen premier U.S. destinations—from Hawaii's volcanic shores to New York's concrete jungle—we systematically narrow down America's best getaway spots through passionate (and often hilarious) discussion. As spring break approaches, our vacation philosophies clash in surprising ways, revealing deeper truths about what we each value in our precious time away from work.
The conversation takes unexpected turns as Hawaii faces Cape Cod, Chicago battles Destin, and Orlando squares off against Boston. Listen as we weigh factors like food quality, entertainment options, relaxation potential, and even people-watching opportunities. "Put me on a beach—that's the only place I can relax," declares one friend, while another argues for the unmatched cultural experiences of urban destinations.
Florida destinations perform remarkably well, with multiple Gulf Coast locations advancing to the later rounds. When Vegas and New York City face off, the debate reaches peak intensity with declarations like "Vegas has everything New York has, but better" meeting fierce resistance. By the time we crown our champion, we've uncovered not just America's best vacation spot, but fundamental differences in how we approach leisure time.
Whether you're planning your next getaway or simply enjoy travel debates, this episode offers both entertainment and inspiration. What's your ideal vacation destination? Where would you place your travel bracket votes? Join the conversation and let us know where we got it right—or completely wrong!
Meet the Three Friends
Speaker 2three guys around a table and by three guys.
Speaker 3We're talking about three friends a lawyer, an engineer and a school superintendent and just like our personalities, our opinions vary and we certainly don't always agree. Whether we're discussing the best of or giving our tips and tricks of things in everyday life, you're sure to learn something if you stick around.
Speaker 2We've been asked to do a bracket challenge um and it's appropriate, it is, it is uh it's beautiful outside. It's just about time to think about going on a spring break or summer vacation I still have my blanket on in your house and and that christmas blanket's not going anywhere just so so we're all on the same page and you got schlanta boy over here with what is that shirt?
Speaker 3it's a uh. This is a uh. It's a public house ale house in georgetown, kentucky. And on the back it has I am a democrat with a checkbox, republican with a checkbox, or having a beer with a checkbox, and that's where the checks is, ah yeah.
Speaker 2How clever, what a very clever schlante. What's schlante mean that's Celtic for cheers mate, exactly Schlante.
Speaker 1So anywho we are doing so. Spring break's coming up. When's Trancy's spring break?
Speaker 2This week. It's going on right now.
Speaker 1And UK spring break next next week yeah, so, and the good old franklin county public schools, like four weeks away, april of fifth ish, yeah, it's like, it's like three four weeks, we're, we're, uh, we're a little.
Speaker 2And, by the way, easter is super late this year. April 20th, janie's birthday, that is just wildly late. Yeah, has it ever been?
Speaker 1on she. Her mom said it has never been on her birthday, but Easter Sunday is Janie's birthday In 1981, it was on April 19th.
Speaker 3It was very close, one day away, that's not.
Speaker 2But it happened between now and then April 1981?.
Speaker 3Your birthday, your birth year 81?. Sweet, that's my.
Speaker 1That's when Mark turned 75. True.
Speaker 3That's actually the day my great-grandfather passed away.
Speaker 2Oh, I'm starting to hear that. Yeah, way to make us feel like.
Speaker 3Ernest, ernest.
Speaker 1All right, we're talking about spring break Break them, hey Vern. Is anybody going on spring break? Break them, I am not.
Speaker 2I'm taking the week off, but it's going to be a staycation. I've got a long list of honeydew we're going, we are leaving.
Speaker 1We're going to new york city, we're going to go do some college tours with hallie awesome.
Speaker 2So we'll see how that goes you're gonna catch a show while you're up there oh yeah, multiple, oh yeah okay how many? All of them.
Speaker 1uh, I think I think right now we we have already purchased tickets for two, but there's one other one she's wanting to see Nice.
Speaker 2There's nothing like it. I mean, there's nothing like seeing it. I've never been to New York City Ever. New York.
Speaker 1City. What I've never been to New York City, hallie's never been to New. York City and Janie has never been to New.
Speaker 3York.
Speaker 1City.
Speaker 2You're kidding me.
Speaker 1And you know how much she's musical theater, oh man it's.
Speaker 2It's different. It's different when you see a show on broadway. It's just different.
Speaker 3Let me tell you, it's all, let me. Yeah, there's man.
Discussing Spring Break Plans
Speaker 2The last time we went, uh, we saw a show on broadway and the show was just okay, but brooke shields was the star. This was like in 2004. It was great. It was just a great show.
Speaker 3Last time I was there it was, uh, it was in the winter and we were on the today show, my buddy Phil and I.
Speaker 1Right.
Speaker 3Yeah, we were all over the Today Show. That's when Meredith Vieira and. Ann Curry were still there you going anywhere for spring break. No, no, just sitting around watching the paint dry, chilling, no just hanging out, just me.
Speaker 1So I'm the only traveler.
Speaker 2All right, so we have a bracket challenge today for vacation spots Vacay.
Speaker 3In the United States only, or we're all 50.
Speaker 2We're all 50 without Alaska. I don't believe in going to Alaska on vacation.
Speaker 1What about the territories?
Speaker 2Nope no territories, no Puerto Rico, no US Virgin Islands. Nope, I'm Chris, I'm Greg.
Speaker 1I'm not Mark, I'm just kidding, kidding.
Speaker 3And what else do we have to say before?
Speaker 2we start. Yes, chris I'm greg.
Speaker 3What else we have to say before we start? Shalanta yeet, yeet, yeet, yeet, eight, eight yeets you got eight yeets on tv. The other day.
Speaker 2So I want just a tiny little bit of credit. That's pretty strong. I mean, you come out with yeet out of the other day. I want just a tiny little bit of credit for that. That's pretty strong.
Speaker 1You come out with yeet out of the gate. It was like yeet happy to be here.
Speaker 3What makes me go yeet?
Speaker 1What breakfast cereal makes the superintendent go?
Speaker 3yeet.
Speaker 1And the answer was grape nut, grape nut. He misunderstood they didn't say yeet, they said something else it rhymes with yeet.
Speaker 3They said something else. It rhymes with yeet and starts with an.
Speaker 1S-H.
Speaker 3More like something you put on the bed the sheet.
Speaker 1It was a good interview, it was awesome, and then some lady texted into you.
Speaker 3Yeah, some lady.
Speaker 2Benita Lesher texted in and said can you have the superintendent say yeet.
Speaker 1Which was great. Did Jennifer Perkins say anything about it?
Speaker 2uh, she afterwards she was like what was all that yeet did?
Speaker 3she tell you to go play with your boyfriends in the sandbox. No, no, just curious all right.
Vacation Bracket Challenge Rules
Speaker 2All right, let's hit it. All right vacation. We got 16 vacation spots. They are seated, and this was semi, according to to a U S news and world report, article uh, mixed in with a few others that are kind of favorites of ours.
Speaker 1Let's go as well.
Speaker 2All right. Number one Hawaii versus Cape Cod, and Hawaii is, you know, Maui, Honolulu, wherever.
Speaker 1Well, I'll be quick on this cause. I've never been to any of them, it's okay. You can have an opinion, but if I was going to pick one, to go to it would probably be hawaii.
Speaker 2Okay, um, I definitely prefer kona hawaii over cape cod okay, I'm gonna go yes I'm gonna go cape cod, just to be the difference I've been to both I've been both of these. I would not want to go back to hawaii, just personally it was travel.
Speaker 1Is I mean yeah, yeah and um, everything's super expensive.
Speaker 2Uh, the beaches are really really nice, but so are they in other places that are close what?
Speaker 3what I like about the cape cod area up in there is the fresh seafood.
Speaker 1It's phenomenal it's unbelievable, but that would do absolutely nothing. Correct?
Speaker 3but here's the other thing though I think places like cape cod and cape hatteras not cape hatteras cape cod and kenny bunkport and all that. It's prettier in the fall. In the summer it's still pretty, but not great. Hawaii gorgeous all the time, that's true, and I'm still getting the fresh seafood, but I'm getting different cultures. I'm getting fresh coffee, I'm getting fresh pineapple.
Speaker 2I am 100 on hawaii all right, so we're, we're on hawaii and that's good. All right, yeah that works. The second one, chicago versus destin. Yep, oh, that's a rough one for me. Yeah, I know, I knew this one would be a tough one for you.
Speaker 1The reason why it's a rough one for me. Destin technically miramar beach, right beside of destin is my favorite beach that I've been to in Florida, chicago. In the summer going to a Cubs game is as good as it gets.
Speaker 2How about Chicago in the winter?
Speaker 1I have been to Chicago in the winter and the kids ice skated and the wind chill got down on New Year's Eve to a negative 30. It's the coldest. I mean they were complaining about how cold it was.
Speaker 2I have only been to Chicago in the winter, I've never been in the summer. And it was New Year's actually, which is wild, and it was to go see a show. We actually saw White Christmas up there, janie would say.
Speaker 1Destin. But I'm going to say Chicago All right, look Destin.
Speaker 3But I'm going to say Chicago, all right, look. No disrespect to Chicago.
Speaker 2Sure.
Speaker 3It's like Cincinnati or any other town. Sure, I am anti-concrete jungle Gotcha. You know it's a cool town. There's a lot of cool stuff to do Absolutely I like it. Chicago's a very expensive city, no question it's unique to get around with the E-trains and all that now, but if I'm going for a week destined, yeah sure, if we're talking three days chicago well, but again I go back to.
Speaker 3It's so cool, there's so many things to do. But put me on a beach. That's the only place I can relax, I could get away. I don't have to think about anything. I have to worry about going point a to point b, what I'm going to do for dinner, because, quite frankly, I could sit there all day. Yeah, watch the people, watch the sun, feel the wind, feel the breeze, get sand out of my crotch, it's all good destin.
Speaker 2Destin for me as well, though. I really like chicago.
Hawaii vs Cape Cod Showdown
Speaker 1Uh, the cuisine in chicago is next level, and destin's a beach, and there really isn't a whole lot more for me than than that I I like distance'll tell you, and I don't know what else is on your list, but if Destin's Beach was textured like Hilton Head's Beach, that'd be my favorite beach in the world.
Speaker 3What else do we get at Destin, though?
Speaker 1Because you get Whataburger, what, what. But the cool thing about Destin and this is the only time I ever eat seafood is we go out fishing and then we go to AJ's in Destin and they'll just cook it for you Any way you want it. Yeah, and we went out fishing, brought in a mess of fish. They just cooked it all different ways, and that's the only time I ever eat seafood.
Speaker 3And you ate a lot of it too. How cool was it when we took the kids fishing off the pier.
Speaker 1We're catching these fish. Mark that got these suckers on their head. You can literally stick them to concrete pylons.
Speaker 3It looks like a tire. It looks like a tire on the back.
Speaker 2You just throw your bait out and it's instantly you start reeling one in. Is that like the three-eyed fish in the Simpsons episode?
Speaker 1Oh yeah, All right.
Speaker 2So, Destin it is, we move on. This is a fun one. Orlando versus Boston.
Speaker 1I've never been to Boston.
Speaker 2You have I like.
Speaker 1Boston, I would go with Orlando because there's so much to do, right, you've got. Disney I mean Disney's hard to beat. Yep, universal Studios for older kids is better than Disney.
Speaker 3Right 10,000 times.
Speaker 1But I've got to go with Orlando. I've never been to Boston, but I've got to go with Orlando. There's so much stuff to do there. Boston's cool man. Boston's so cool and you're only an hour from a beach.
Speaker 3That's true. Boston is awesome For the historical side of things. With the food, you guys know that I like craft beers. There's a huge craft beer thing. I know it's shocking. You also the only. I'm also getting older. I'm not mark's age, but I'm getting older. I'm also the only beer brother currently consuming moosehead lager and I have.
Speaker 1I have my stanley full of water I got my ohio state national champions.
Speaker 3Io mine is moosehead canadian lager ice water, but anyhow, yeah, boston's so cool man, so choose it man. But oh gosh, get it. You know Orlando, though it's still Florida and you've got all. And I hate amusement parks. I get hives thinking about them. I don't mind amusement parks, but I love Epcot. Epcot's where it's at. Well, Epcot, you'm going.
Speaker 2Orlando, Orlando for me. I'm a big Disney guy. I love it. Drinking around the world thing is a hoot.
Speaker 1The six of us need to go to Disney without children, 100%.
Speaker 2It's more fun without them, it's a much better trip as adults.
Speaker 1Catesby Woodford, one of my law partners. He said it's better without kids.
Speaker 3What's his name? Catesby. Oh, and does he play lacrosse?
Speaker 1No, he's from Mount Sterling, don't even try to give us the rich man talk.
Speaker 3Bring me a beverage Catesby.
Speaker 2The only reason you're saying it that way is because you've said it that way, right.
Speaker 3I'm so sorry, catesby, come for coffee. Next one, washington. Sorry, all right, can't speak.
Speaker 1Come for coffee.
Speaker 2Next one Washington DC versus Gatlinburg. Oh, this is a tough one too Lived in Washington DC for a year.
Speaker 3When you went to Georgetown college, when I went to Georgetown college, right, as you know.
Speaker 1Um, for a vacation, though, I'm probably picking Gatlinburg.
Speaker 2Okay.
Speaker 1Look as a uh Look as a, you can't get an ogre, though here comes a 20-minute discussion over why Gatlinburg is Again.
Speaker 3I love DC. I do, but I'm going to tell you, I like to be amongst them. At certain points of my life, at certain points of my years, I like to be amongst them. That sounds a little uppity, I agree no question Let me tell you, you put me in Gatlinburg any time of the year.
Speaker 1You're down, I'm one of them then. I'm not just amongst them, I'm one of them. What does Gatlinburg have that Washington DC doesn't? Fanny Farkle Ogledog.
Speaker 3That's true.
Speaker 2Publix oh yeah, Swing Boom.
Speaker 3Sw, swing, speaking, of which Lexington has won. Now, lexington, baby yeah, have you been yet? Not yet, but my daughter's been twice.
Speaker 1She's all about it, so Guava pastry baby.
Speaker 2So are you choosing Gatlinburg? Absolutely, I am choosing Gatlinburg as well. Dc is, from a history perspective, it's awesome all the monuments but once you see it. One time the Smithsonian. You could just spend days in Chocolate City?
Speaker 1Yeah, but look, how many times are you going to go see the Washington Monument? Seriously, exactly, once you see it?
Speaker 2you see it, it's like the Grand Canyon, it's a great big hole.
Speaker 3You know, okay, never seen it. That may be coming up, I'm not sure, yep yep.
Speaker 1All right. Next Yellowstone versus Nashville Is Yellowstone. It's the one.
Speaker 2Yellowstone, I got to the Dutton Farm.
Speaker 1Not the Dutton Ranch.
Speaker 2Yellowstone National Park and that, you know, touches I was just there. Four states.
Speaker 1I remember there used to be a park around here called Jellystone.
Speaker 2Can I begin this one? Yes, Yellowstone All day all night Never been, it is amazing. I've been many times because, as you know, my wife's family that's where she grew up in cody wyoming, right outside of yellowstone. So we've been many, many times and it is awesome I was in yellowstone last month yeah do you remember correctly?
Speaker 1yep, you were what do you think about?
Speaker 3it. It's gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous. My thing is your. What are you going to go for? So, if you're limited, if you're going to go hiking for the week on vacation?
Speaker 1that's not a goal.
Speaker 3I'm not a hacker, or if you're going to go to the cuisine, the honky tonks and the uh, the flowing beers of nashville I mean, how many days can you do that, though realistically?
Speaker 1nashville. For me, nashville's a two or three day kind of. Yeah, I agree. Yeah, I mean there's another thing on the bracket coming up that I think's great for two or three days.
Speaker 3But I'll tell you if I had to pick between that. If do I want to hike for a week and see the sights and sounds, which is gorgeous, or go drink beer and listen to honky tonk country music, and I'd rather go to nashville okay, you got to be the type I gotta.
Speaker 1I gotta go with nashville because I don't know enough about yeltsin. Right, fair enough, that's better than jellystone to me that's an upset.
Speaker 2That's that's a pretty big upset, but all good, all right. The next one, la los angeles versus the tampa st pete area, easy including the beaches yeah, go ahead.
Speaker 3You said it was easy I've driven in la multiple times yeah it sucks driving in la dodger, stadium's's cool, anaheim's cool, disney's cool out there, even California's cool the traffic sucks. It's not worth it. I've done Hollywood. I've seen the houses, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. I am Tampa, st Pete. We grew up going to St Pete. I had an aunt and uncle in Largo. I love it Going to Tampa.
Speaker 1St Pete. I wonder what kind of estate they had.
Speaker 3It was in a trailer park. It was a retirement home.
Speaker 1His uncle had some estate.
Speaker 2I think there was actually a plantation.
Speaker 3Listen if you've not stayed at the Don Cesar, the pink hotel on the beach. You're missing out. It's haunted.
Speaker 2Yeah, we have not, because it's a little pricey.
Speaker 3I've never stayed there. I've never stayed there, so Tampa, st Pete.
Speaker 2Actually, I have stayed there, you're going to Tampa, tampa, st Pete.
Speaker 3Actually, I have stayed there. Where am I? I got my reservation canceled. You're going to Tampa. I'm going to Tampa. I used to live there. Why is that?
Speaker 2There's a wealth of things to do. You have some of the best beaches, in my opinion, in the world. You have great food. You have great culture. Burns Steakhouse. I could just say it just for Burns Steakhouse the weather's amazing you have so many beaches, how do you keep them in line?
Speaker 1Yeah, exactly I love, I'm going to go with LA. I've never been to the Tampa St Pete area. I've also never been to LA, but I'm going to.
Speaker 3LA this summer.
Speaker 2I'm going to tell you something LA's great.
Speaker 1But I'm only going to be there for a couple of days, after about two days, you're good with. La. Yeah, I'm only going to be there for like two days, you will see every sign of life in LA.
Speaker 3Yeah, true story. I don't care where you're at.
West Coast vs Florida Destinations
Speaker 2The culture is so different. I've been a few times and it's great. But yeah, a lot of Florida places are winning. Yeah, I agree.
Speaker 1And, by the way, in the bracket so far, a lot of Florida's undefeated, by the way, once I saw Columbo's house, peter Fox house in.
Speaker 3LA you were done.
Speaker 2I'm good. Now I can. Now I can die and be happy Wow.
Speaker 1Yeah, those bus tours LA not live in LA.
Speaker 3Good question, lower Anderson County, all right.
Speaker 2The next one, the Grand Canyon versus Las Vegas, two attractions that are within driving distance Four hours.
Speaker 1Never been to the Grand Canyon. Another one I've never been to Las Vegas. I think it's great for two, three days at most, I agree. Now, how long can you go to the Grand Canyon?
Speaker 2Exactly, it's a big hole you can ride a donkey down it.
Speaker 1Yeah, I'm not doing that.
Speaker 2This one's a tough one. Vegas, I'm going with Vegas. I'm going with Vegas too.
Speaker 1There's so many things to do in Vegas For a few days, not for a long time, but here's the thing.
Speaker 3There's so many things you can do Even if you don't go to the Strip.
Speaker 2there's so many things to do yeah, great shows, amazing, yeah, amazing. And the last one New York City, new York City, you got into that salsa.
Speaker 1Versus. Can I get some of that while I'm up there? Oh?
Speaker 2yeah.
Speaker 3Versus.
Speaker 2Miami, slash the Keys.
Speaker 3Oh no, wait a minute, that's completely different.
Speaker 2It is, but I'm grouping them together.
Speaker 3It's my brand no way. All right, keys. I'm just saying Keys. I'm not going Miami, I don't care for Miami, I love the Keys. I'm going Keys, all right, I like Key Lime Pie oh original Key Lime.
Speaker 1Pie but you know what I like better than that Steak there you go New York, right Peter. Lugers, I'm going to try to get in there while we're there. You better make a reservation now. New York. I'm going to go with New York.
Speaker 2I'm going to go to New York too.
Speaker 1I've never been to New York, but I'm going to go with it.
Speaker 2I'm going to New York. There's just so much to do. Broadway in and of itself is just awesome. That's a couple three days. The cuisine, yep, sorry.
Speaker 1We're going to be there five days. We fly up on Monday and fly back on Friday, but we got three school visits, so that's going to be some of the days, and we got a photo shoot and stuff.
Speaker 3I didn't realize. Georgetown college had a branch up there oh yeah, georgetown college legit nyu, by the way that's on the list.
Speaker 2Love it all. Right, we're down to eight. It is the first bracket. Is hawaii versus destin.
Speaker 1I'm going to start it. I'll go with Destin because I've never been to Hawaii and Destin is my. Like I told you, if Destin's beach was hard, like Hilton Head's beach is, I think it'd be the perfect beach Because I love the color. I don't like Destin proper. I like the outskirts of Destin better. I don't like how it takes us 45 minutes to get to the other end where we go fishing at or where we stay at.
Speaker 1But I think Destin's beach and the water is about as pretty as it gets in the continental United States.
Speaker 3Go ahead, I'll be the tiebreaker.
Speaker 2You may not have to break the tie.
Speaker 1He may pick Destin.
Speaker 2I'm going to go Destin here. Hey, you do it.
Speaker 3You should have went second. We'll make it a three-way. I'll go Destin as well, because as much as I love Hawaii, as much as I loved Hawaii, destin's got nothing to lose.
Speaker 1What was the best thing about Hawaii when you went there? The?
Speaker 3coffee, being a coffee, being a foodie and drink guy yeah. The food was incredible, except for the poi. Never and drink out. Yeah, the food was incredible, except for the poi.
Speaker 2Never eat poi. No, it's awful, poi's terrible.
Speaker 3I don't know what that is.
Speaker 2Oh, you don't. It's awful, it's a root.
Speaker 3It's a pasty root.
Speaker 1Zero percent chance it's purple pasty root. That is something my food would eat, not what I would eat the luau, though please pass the boy.
Speaker 3No, I don't know.
Speaker 2Uh, I'm going to anyhow, the coffee and the pineapple and all that. Just it's everywhere. All right, we've got orlando versus gatlinburg. Oh, it's a good one. This is a toughy. It's a good one, uh, not tough for me, but go ahead go orlando all day, all night, disney, yes, you better go second oh boy oh boy, um, I boy, I'd go Orlando Three-way.
Speaker 1Yeah, I think Orlando is the call. I like Gatlinburg. I like Gatlinburg for two or three days. Gatlinburg is a great weekend trip.
Speaker 3Gatlinburg is awesome for people watching.
Speaker 1No question. But you know what? Disney and Universal is pretty good for people watching. Gatlinburg's got some special places to watch people at.
Speaker 2The cool thing I like about Gatlinburg slash Pigeon Forge is renting a cabin up in the mountains. That's fun.
Speaker 1All year round too, I would much rather go in the winter than I would in the summer.
Speaker 3I would too because I've got to tell you just on that walk downtown. Gatlinburg in the middle of the summer, when it's 95 degrees outside, it's awful.
Narrowing Down to Final Four
Speaker 2All right, next bracket. This was an upset, as we recall Nashville versus Tampa St Pete.
Speaker 3Nashville, just for the music and the libation. Tampa St.
Speaker 2Pete, all day, all night Tiebreaker.
Speaker 1I've never been to Tampa, st Pete. I have been to Nashville, but to me Nashville is not a week long trip. Well, we didn't say it's a week yeah, but it's spring break trip that tells you a lot about the place that you're going.
Speaker 2If you're like, yeah, a couple days, I'm good. I go back to Tampa every year for a week, you guys would have to hang with me in Nashville.
Speaker 3We could do it for a week. No, I'm not doing that for a week.
Speaker 2No, about one night. I'm going to go with Tampa St Pete.
Speaker 3This is nonsense. It's ridiculous, it's stupid.
Speaker 1We've got to keep our producer happy.
Speaker 2That's right, Mr Mellon.
Speaker 1We got to keep our producer happy, that's right, mr Mellon Did Thornton come up with this.
Speaker 2No, no but that's where he lives.
Speaker 3You're dogging at where he lives, that's right. I'm sorry, mr Mellon. I apologize.
Speaker 1I would go to that place if they give me $10,000.
Speaker 3Which is a pittance to me.
Speaker 1I would go to that place if they would buy me four of my houses, that's my weekend tithe.
Speaker 2All right, las Vegas versus New York City.
Speaker 3Vegas, new York City.
Speaker 1Vegas has New York City baby Y'all both wrong, again wrong.
Speaker 2New York City, vegas has everything New York has, but better Vegas, vegas is. Look, I'm not a gambler.
Speaker 1So Vegas. I tap out on that, I don't gamble. When we were in Vegas, where are the shows?
Speaker 2better New York City. Where's the food? Better New York City. I disagree, I completely disagree.
Speaker 1I'm confident the shows are better in New York City. I think you're wrong again.
Speaker 3That's fair.
Speaker 1You're staying wrong. Do you think is better in?
Speaker 3Vegas. You can get the same things in Vegas you get in New York. That's a fake announcement. There is a Peter Luger in Las Vegas and there's also a McCormick Schmicks in Vegas.
Speaker 2There's all the big things and there's a McCormick Schmicks in Boston. I mean let's go. You want to go out back next time hey you can't get good bagels.
Speaker 3I don't eat bagels, it's all about the bagel you got einstein brothers. You can't get a cat's deli experience in new york, in in las vegas, that's the place. But you got to.
Speaker 2You got a carnegie deli there in um but you know what you can't get the carnegie deli is closed in new york city.
Speaker 3You know carnegie, it's still open. In vegas it's not.
Speaker 1You know what you can get in vegas though in and out burger.
Speaker 2That's true, which is coming to Tennessee, by the way.
Speaker 315 locations have been announced. Get me a Whataburger. I'll be rolling as well, but Logan will be happy with the In-N-Out.
Speaker 1Whataburger was legit. We got to go to Atlanta earlier this year Final four.
The Finals: Gulf of America Beaches Win
Speaker 2I can't remember what they are. Let's see it is. It is which? Which one? It was destin, destin yep versus orlando, destin versus orlando completely two different places. Yep, go ahead.
Speaker 3Destin I'm gonna say destin.
Speaker 2I'm gonna go orlando, so destin moves on very fair all right down in the distance legit. I can relax there. Bottom bracket Tampa St Pete versus New York City Tampa St Pete.
Speaker 1I'm going to stick with New York City.
Speaker 2You've never been there. Tampa St Pete, I knew it would win.
Speaker 1We're all going to Gulf of America beaches. That's all we know to Gulf of America beaches. That's all we know. Gulf of America beaches. I can tell you this Out of those two for the champion, I got to go Destin.
Speaker 3That's fair Me as well. Santa Monica Pier should have been in there, but yeah, I go.
Speaker 1I'm going St Pete, hallie's going to Santa Monica Pier this summer.
Speaker 2Awesome. I'm going Tampa St Pete. Just more to do there and, in all honesty, just as good a beach as, if not better, if you've never been to Caledisi Island, one of the best beaches in the world. But having said that, I relinquish it is destined.
Speaker 1But all Gulf of America beaches Gulf of America, beaches win.
Speaker 3The Gulf of America beaches. Gulf of America beaches win the Gulf of.
Speaker 1America is always the winner, but I want to know why Lima was not on the list. Did you not put it on? Because Chris can't go, that's 100%.
Speaker 2Why? Until December? How can we put in a city where you've been banned Until?
Speaker 3December, until December, supposedly. I mean, if people only knew. Well, we could tell a story yet again. I'm getting tired of telling it. We've told it so many times. It is the problem is I get people all the time saying, hey, man, you going to tell me the story again? I'm like just listen, just listen to it, just listen.
