Mount Rushmore of Cinema: Four Actors Who Defined Excellence
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
What makes a truly great actor? Is it versatility, iconic roles, or the ability to completely transform into a character? This question sparked a passionate debate as we constructed our Mount Rushmore of cinema's greatest actors.
The conversation begins with amusing detours into everyday grievances—like the peculiar sight of people using chopsticks for buffet sushi at a Chinese restaurant—before diving into the heart of the matter. Gene Hackman emerges as our first nominee, with his dynamic range from "The French Connection" to "Unforgiven" setting a high standard. Jack Nicholson follows, his unparalleled performances in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" and "The Shining" earning him universal acclaim among us.
Clint Eastwood's remarkable evolution from spaghetti western star to acclaimed director and actor secures his position, while classic cinema gets its due with Humphrey Bogart's timeless appeal. The nominations continue with heated cases made for Daniel Day-Lewis's method intensity, Al Pacino's commanding presence, and the surprising late-career brilliance of Brad Pitt.
What's fascinating is how each great actor represents different elements of the craft—some excel through versatility, others through sheer screen presence or the ability to disappear completely into a role. Paul Newman, Tom Hanks, and Jeff Bridges round out a distinguished list that spans generations of Hollywood excellence.
The episode concludes with the realization that our conversation focused entirely on male actors—prompting plans for a future episode dedicated to the greatest actresses of all time. Join us for this lively debate and decide who would make your own cinematic Mount Rushmore!
Three Friends Around a Table
Speaker 2three guys around a table and by three guys.
Speaker 3We're talking about three friends a lawyer, an engineer and a school superintendent and just like our personalities, our opinions vary and we certainly don't always agree. Whether we're discussing the best of or giving our tips and tricks of, things in everyday life, you're sure to learn something if you stick around our producer rick mellon.
Speaker 2Big shout out to rick uh for dr dr. Yes, dr dr, hello dr dr dr thornton rick has uh given us an idea for an episode of really the best of um we uh, according to rick, here, he would like us to discuss our favorite favorite actor or actress and uh then name our mount rushmore. Uh, first of all we'll do actors and uh then we'll see where we're at we're talking like peewee herman and jim varney and people like that well, no, I mean burn.
Speaker 1Let's see where's the uh marks is going to be somebody who's never been had a color tube on their tv so there is going to be one, I promise.
Speaker 3Imagine it was jim smith.
Speaker 2He was in the academy award of 1837 that's well before the academy awards and before motion pictures by the way, can I?
Speaker 1back down real quick. You know, are you charlie chaplin? Is that the one you're gonna have?
Speaker 3I remember when the talkies came in he was so good with the silent kid or whatever it was. It was so great hey, real quick before we get into this. Yes, I'm gonna tell you something. You know what, really?
Speaker 2grinds my gears. Oh this, it could have been a whole episode pet peeve.
Speaker 3Yeah, I wanted to do some pet peeves, but I just had the chinese buffet for dinner and it was good. I've not been there probably a year, year and a half.
Speaker 1It was phenomenal, yep I've not been there in probably with me I remember seeing you there one time. That's probably the last time I was there. It's been at least five years ago and I have no intentions on going.
What Really Grinds My Gears
Speaker 3My wife won't let me go. When my kids lived at home, we used to go all the time. Every holiday we were there. But you go to the Chinese buffet Tonight it was $17. Per person. It was just me. It was $17. And they expected a tip.
Speaker 2You know what really grinds my gears though. Yeah.
Speaker 3You're at a Chinese buffet. Yeah, grinds my gears though. Yeah, you're at a chinese buffet. Yeah, and it is. You're amongst them. Number one. Number two I'm over there with a fork eating all of my chinese food a mongolian grill, which was excellent and I look over and there are people eating their sushi with chopsticks. Okay, number one, you're at a Chinese buffet, and you really need to get okay.
Speaker 1My biggest issue with that whole statement is they were eating sushi at a Chinese buffet. But hold on.
Speaker 3They're eating sushi, but yet they have to do it with chopsticks. I'm like I'm over the fort throwing things back. You're eating buffet sushi that obviously was not hand rolled in the back. You're eating buffet sushi and obviously was not hand-rolled in the back. You're eating buffet sushi and you think I must do it the proper way. I must use chopsticks. That really irritates me.
Speaker 1That doesn't bother me at all, it bothers me 100%.
Speaker 3Listen, you are not above society. Give me a break. It's like going to Jeff Ruby's and ordering a hamburger steak.
Speaker 2Give me a break. I didn't know where we were going with me. Oh so irritating. But my question on chinese buffets why does every chinese buffet you go to have the exact same, like you know, dessert it's. It's like jello and rice pudding, or banana pudding.
Speaker 3If you're lucky, I get the fried fried and the little fried donut things that's so good in the in the uh and the cookies that are exactly the same right, and it doesn't matter which one. I don't I never go to that part, I go to the donuts and over there by the chicken legs and the chicken wings but you know sushi at the chinese buffet with chopsticks.
Speaker 2Well, since we're diverting to grinding our gears for a second, I just want to say one thing and then I'll you know, I'll save this for another episode in baseball major league baseball which I've been a fan of my entire life there was baseball when you were born.
Speaker 1Well, yeah, it was a little different back then honus wagner is my favorite player, but why?
Speaker 2tobacco card. Why in the modern game of baseball, if the ball hits the dirt, we have to throw the ball out and not use it and get a brand new ball every time because it messes up the seams. Oh that's ridiculous. As a pitcher you want to have a little you want to have a little scuff on that. Look what greg maddox right one of the greatest pitchers of all time. Give him a little scuff. He's going to use it to make the ball.
Speaker 2That's why a lot of the players put grease or something under the brim of their head yes that way you can get the ball a little little little cleaner that way yeah, or you just rub a little jalapeno up your nose and get it snotting and you just, you put snot on ball. I've never heard that.
Speaker 1If we're talking about pet peeves. Grind your gears, Grind my gears. You have to know your audience when you're being sarcastic Agreed. For example, today my son Reagan got offended by something somebody said because that person didn't know their audience.
Speaker 3Was that person? You no, oh.
Speaker 1No, it was the good one. Really Wow the good one Reagan has his organic chemistry final on Wednesday, yeah. And the good one made a comment and said why aren't you studying for it now? Then You're just relaxing on the couch.
Speaker 3Okay, what's the problem? Yeah, I agree, it's organic chemistry. It's a Sunday night, why aren't you? Studying and the test is Wednesday afternoon, so what's the problem Right, I agree, I know my audience and if I was paying for his tuition it'd be like get your butt off the couch and study.
Speaker 1I mean, it was just like I'm good, Wow, you know he'll be fine yeah.
Speaker 3Is that what really grinds your gears, or is it the irritation from the grinding?
Speaker 1of the gears. Yeah, it was Reagan getting aggravated that.
Speaker 3Craig made the comment. Why aren't you studying for this?
Speaker 1important exam. Craig, don't need to worry about it. Yeah, that's a valid point, that's my issue, craig don't need to worry about it. Yeah, that's a valid point. That's my issue, craig don't need to worry about it?
Speaker 2No, that's valid.
Speaker 1That's what I meant by know your audience. That doesn't need to be Craig's comment.
Speaker 2So in other words, you could have said know your role and shut your mouth.
Speaker 1Craig needed shut up. I thought you were talking about the other way.
Speaker 3No, no, no, craig needed shut up, because I All right, I agree with Craig. Well, reagan had been studying this morning.
Speaker 1He's going to study this evening. He was taking a little break. Hey, stay in your lane, josh, you know, stay in your lane.
Speaker 2I have to. That's one I have to use a lot with some folks. You know people get worried and upset about things that should not concern them. Stay in your lane. You know what I'm saying. Vote for me, Okay.
Baseball Break and Wrestling Talk
Speaker 1So, oh, now, before we get on to, we're going to really grind my gears, you know what, before we get on to.
Speaker 2Can we discuss Seth Rollins, dr Mellon, yes, it's the All-Star break.
Speaker 1That's true. It is yes, and your Reds are above 500.
Speaker 3That is a major accomplishment.
Speaker 1They're 50 and 47. Three games. Hey, pretty good.
Speaker 2You know Better than the.
Speaker 1Rockies. That's not really saying much. You can also say better than the White Sox.
Speaker 3That's true.
Speaker 1What about they're tied with Rick?
Speaker 2Mellon's Tampa Bay Rays. Yep, and Tampa Bay Rays are the only team in baseball that probably has a lower payroll than the Reds. I'd say there's more than that. The Reds just pay very stupid decisions. They sign a Gmer Candelario who couldn't hit his way out of a wet sack and then release him and still owe him $18 million.
Speaker 1Yes, but are the mints the worst team at that? They're still paying bobby, we're still paying grippy jr million bucks.
Speaker 2What's?
Speaker 1what's the issue with it?
Speaker 2um well, the all valid points, all-star break, great time, cubs are rolling yeah, let's talk about our bet, where we're at.
Speaker 1Do you know how far they're back? I'm gonna say seven games. What do you think? We're in the hunt? You're in, we're at. Do you know how far they're back? I'm going to say seven games. What do you think we're in the hunt? You're in the hunt, I agree. Do you know how far you're back in our bet? Six and a half, seven and a half. Okay, we were close.
Speaker 2Yeah, we were close.
Speaker 1So the Cubs are 57 and 39. And one other thing.
Speaker 2Yankees do. The Reds did that earlier this year against the Yankees Did well against New York. That's unimpressive. But long story short. Seth Rollins really injured. Okay, so the Reds Hold on.
Speaker 1I had to fact check you. The Reds payroll is 22nd in the major leagues. Okay, $115 million. Okay, tampa Bay is $79 million. The Cubs are 10th6 million. Yeah but, I mean, but you got two teams above 300 million dollars, as my brother, and it's not the yankees the bet should have been a shocker win per dollar then we'd be close.
Speaker 2Uh, seth rollins, is he really hurt seth rollins?
Speaker 1is really I think so, and it's everything I read last night said that he was supposed to be LA nut, and when it happened.
Speaker 2You could see that it was, you know. Uh, well, as I said the my text I sent to you as soon as it happened. Uh, I think this is a work. I don't believe this for a second or whatever.
Speaker 1But then, five seconds later, when LA Knight he gets up and lets LA not do his finishing move instantly and it's over, it's like okay, it's like don't hurt me anymore.
Speaker 2Yeah, nope, it's real, it's real. Uh, wwe, now that's a tough one.
Speaker 1Yeah, that's a tough one but how bad, seriously.
Speaker 2Yep, last night goldberg's going out. Yep, they just cut his speech off halfway through. What was that they gave?
Speaker 1him like 15 seconds and then gone. Had to play three minutes worth of commercials come out there and said this night's all about you. What do you got to say yeah, I'm here to say over, so here's the thing I mean ridiculous you know, and for a 58 year old man, he looked legit, yeah, he looked good.
Speaker 2The number of and, and let's just say, my main man, gunter the ring, with no hands, he carried him, he carried him in that match, he did made him look good.
Speaker 1Yeah, I mean he's. I sent you a text saying how good he was selling things at the start of it.
Speaker 2Yep and here's the thing saturday night's main event. I love the concept of saturday night's main event. I love the concept of saturday night's main event. I grew up with it.
Speaker 1Yeah, I remember it was like what's a month when I was growing up.
Speaker 2It was awesome, right, but the production of that last night commercials every nine minutes, man yeah way too many commercials. They gotta, they gotta, figure this out. So anyway, 11 minutes in, we haven't talked about one actor, so chris desponette no one has ever said that. I know it's a little disturbing. We might as well just go there.
Speaker 1I know who my favorite actor is.
Speaker 2Let's go.
Speaker 1You going or I'm going, I'll go.
Speaker 3He just called me in Do it Hit it.
Speaker 2Are we doing top four or just one? Just one right now, just one to start Gene.
Speaker 3Hackman.
Speaker 1Gene Hackman was good. He's dead now?
Speaker 3No, he's good, he's dead now Okay.
Speaker 1He gone, gene Hackman.
Speaker 3How weird was his death by the way.
Speaker 2Very odd, but he also had dementia. Didn't rats eat him and stuff no, and his wife.
Speaker 1He had Alzheimer's or dementia? Yeah, it was terrible.
Speaker 3He didn't know where he was.
Speaker 2Who are you people and where's my horse? Correct Gene.
Speaker 3Hackman, why is he going from when he played Popeye Doyle in the French Connection? Never seen it when he went to Little Bill Daggett from Unforgiven when he played I can't remember the coach's name in Hoosiers.
Speaker 1Great movie.
Speaker 3When he was the admiral in Behind Enemy Lines, when he was in Bat 21 with Danny Glover. He has played such dynamic roles and has absolutely killed it in all of them.
Speaker 2I don't disagree that he's a fantastic actor. However, in those that you just mentioned, I think only two of them. Two of them, he won the academy award for two of those, of course, and one was for the supporting actor as bill daggett. So how many times was he like the leading man?
Speaker 3um and hoosiers and the french connection.
Speaker 1Yeah, those two for sure um oh, there was another one that was like behind him. Oh, he's been in several.
Speaker 3Oh, yeah, yeah yeah, but he's just an incredible dynamic actor. Yeah, he is. And the other thing is, if you ever read anything about him, he was such a likable personality as well, which is huge in Hollywood. Yeah, so Gene Hackman's my guy.
Speaker 1I think he's phenomenal All right Greg Jack Nicholson's, mine Boom.
Speaker 3He's good.
Speaker 1Strong. Oh yeah, I mean from the Shining to all the way up to comedic roles in the late 90s, early 2000s. He's great in everything that he does.
Speaker 2One Flew Over the.
Speaker 3Cuckoo's Nest that's my favorite role ever by him, incredible.
Speaker 1The Shining's my favorite.
Speaker 3Oh yeah, All the Shining's my favorite.
Speaker 2Oh yeah, all work and no play makes Jack a dope boy. Wendy, darling angel, love of my life, I'm not going to hurt you.
Speaker 1I'm just going to bash your brains in.
Speaker 3What's wrong with that? You know what the worst scene in that movie was when Wendy was carrying the bat up the steps. Like can you not hold a baseball bat?
Speaker 2She's like holding it halfway up on it.
Speaker 1I'm like she, you not hold a baseball bat. She's like holding it halfway up on it.
Speaker 2I'm like she was ready to bunt. I mean she was ready to bunt.
Speaker 3She was like Ty Cobb, it was terrible. Here's Johnny.
Speaker 1Nicholson's great man. He's great when you get past that Anger management.
Speaker 2He's hilarious in that. A few good men.
Speaker 3You can't handle the truth.
Speaker 1Yeah, in he's great in I mean, that's an iconic ending to that show one of my favorites is as good as it gets. Yeah, the dog when. When he's got ocd here, I mean I quote that movie all the time. Yeah, I mean it's like, um, yeah, uh, I hate the doggy. I hate the doggy and I mean he goes 62 bucks and I mean you know it's just fantastic I have a fun fact.
Speaker 3Oh, okay, fun fact, jack Nicholson appeared on an episode of the Andy Griffith Show. Did he really?
Speaker 2He did.
Speaker 3Yeah, he was on Andy Griffith when it was black and white.
Speaker 1You should know that. I did not know that when it was black and white Before, there was a color change. Yeah, wow, yeah, as good as it gets. Isn't that the one where I think cuba?
Speaker 2gooding jr. It comes and and and he's wears him out about keeping the dog jack just like losing help please.
Speaker 1He hollers for the police and he goes help me donut munching morons, I mean that's as good as it gets. I mean literally until they start the trip to baltimore, and then I'm mean literally Until they start the trip to Baltimore and then I'm out, right, I mean, when they start the trip to Baltimore, I'm out.
Speaker 3You know, one of my favorite movies with him in it is the Bucket List.
Speaker 2That movie- is I don't know that.
Speaker 3I've seen it. It is absolutely fantastic.
Speaker 2I go to him as the Joker in Batman.
Speaker 1The original. I mean think about all the roles we're talking about and, oh my gosh, vicky Vale, vicky you're like you ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight.
Speaker 3I was asked that of all my prey.
Speaker 2I have given a name to my pain, and it is Batman that's a good role.
Speaker 1I picked a good one. That's a good one.
Speaker 2I know I'm going to shock your senses. It's going to be something I've never heard of. You have Marlon Brando. You have not only heard of this guy, you watched him in a movie with me an outdoor movie. I know who he just said it, Humphrey Bogart.
Speaker 1Casablan wars humphrey bogart was absolutely, you said the millennium falconer so uh yeah, fantastic, yep, that's my guy.
Speaker 2It's interesting. Yeah, and I know you have nothing to add to that zero was good I've never seen it before. It's good. Was he ever in? A color movie. Yes, I believe so, I believe so, yes.
Speaker 1He's got no idea.
Speaker 2Treasure of the Sierra Madre. I don't know if they I know they did a colorized version, if it wasn't originally in color, but anyway, that's all right now, so you're voting for him. Yeah, that's my guy. That's my guy. He's voting for him.
Speaker 3Yeah, I'm oh yeah, vote, vote for him hey, you know what you can vote for me so you're not an actor, though, so we can't vote for you if that's one for me so if that, that's one now we got to do, we got to do a Mount Rushmore. So you got three more to add to yours, chris. Sure, go ahead. Clint Eastwood yeah.
Speaker 2Yeah, he's, he's, he's a guy in there, I mean generational actor, I mean multiple generational, and I'm a hundred percent in agreement he's one of mine.
Speaker 1Yeah, he's one of mine, Any which way, but loose all the way to cry macho, to joke it.
Speaker 3I mean you. What about outlaw josie? Well, it's good to bad, to ugly, I mean get into unforgiving.
Speaker 1Yeah, that's what it's gonna say I do have to correct you.
Speaker 2It was every which way. But loose in any which way you can right turn glide oh, that was all yep.
Speaker 1Um.
Speaker 3No, he was on men yeah, clean, it's what it's just, oh iconic. Oh, when you get into grand torino. I watched that again I've not watched that.
Speaker 2Oh, oh, my gosh oh, it's a get off my line.
Speaker 3Yes, literally get off my line, yeah I've not seen with all the other explicit explicative terms that go with that. Yeah it was a little racist little yeah, they all play a racist old guy, they all raced and uh, yeah, yeah, it's good uh, it's really really good film, um and he was such a good director too. He was in me and our baby and all that.
Speaker 1The other thing you got to say about him is he's moved on to directing too, so he's got to be up there won the oscar for unforgiven as best director.
Speaker 2It won the oscar for his best picture. Gene hackman won for best supporting actor. You could have made the argument morgan. Morgan freeman, I agree, you know, but what's the mule with clint eastwood great movie I mean it's a it's just a tearjerker, but it's such a, there's one trouble with the curve that he, I know, I know a song in that movie which one?
Speaker 3the mule? Uh is it? Vote for me.
Speaker 2No, no, all right. So Clint, I'm good with Clint too. Yep, who else we got?
Speaker 1Is Robert De Niro on it?
Speaker 3He can be. It's not on mine, he's a whack job, oh yeah.
Speaker 1He's a left winger but he's good. I'm always watching.
Speaker 3Fucker, yeah, yeah yeah, yeah, oh yeah, that, uh, that was was that in meet the parents or meet? The parents. What about meet the fuckers too?
Speaker 2here's the circle, here's the circle of trust, and here's you right, absolutely um, I gotta add one that I didn't discuss with you, uh, when we first were discussing this the other day. Daniel day lewis has got to be on mine. He's the only guy that's won three academy awards for best actor. There will be blood. Uh, unbelievable, as as lincoln, there will be blood. My left foot, last of the mohicans. I've not seen any of the.
Speaker 2I've seen uh gangs of new york. I've seen that one. Oh my goodness, I've not seen any. Did we just skip over yours?
Building Mount Rushmore of Acting
Speaker 3because I thought you got a great one, and goodness, I've not seen any of those. Did we just skip over yours? Because I thought you got a great one and I was going to be all supportive of you.
Speaker 1Nobody cares about me, am I?
Speaker 3even, even De Niro was in movies. No, he was just in. He went to Casino. He was great. Go ahead, talk about Bobby De Niro. Give you the you got the floor.
Speaker 2Who's your third?
Speaker 3wait, we haven't got to. His is yours.
Speaker 1No, we're just, we're just bouncing around man it's all good.
Speaker 2Okay, I didn't know. I know your ocd is kicking in, chris. It's okay, I can't even keep up now, it's just terrible.
Speaker 3I would think that robert devol is one of my third is my third. Ugh, robert devol so great in apocalypse. Now he's awesome. My favorite thing he was in was uh no, but he was great in that.
Speaker 1My favorite thing he was in was uh. No, but he was great in that. My favorite thing he was in was uh secondhand lions greatest movie ever made.
Speaker 3Uh, are you gonna let him speak? No, did we say deniro? Is this thing on? Did we miss?
Speaker 1deniro is this does this thing work? We missed deniro I.
Speaker 2I do have the ability to mute Chris over there.
Speaker 1No, it's fine, just keep on going. Give me some more that he was in.
Speaker 2Yeah, just keep going.
Speaker 1And I'll tell you which one it is. Bang the drum slowly and I'll tell you which one it is when we get there. Is that a good one?
Speaker 2Yeah, godfather 2? Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3Keep going. Lonesome Dove made some loads of dove?
Speaker 2oh, I was on the dinero.
Speaker 3Hey, you smell that. You smell that napalm apocalypse. Now you ready for my name in the morning tom hanks very versatile man, have you been on the conspiracy theorist train about that dude though?
Speaker 1I know, I don't know what you're talking about?
Speaker 2we have zero idea what you're talking about I'll tell you what.
Speaker 3I remember him in bosom buddies with peter Scolari and loved him in that. Well, of course you did. And then he went on to Big Shut up.
Speaker 1Big was great. What about, like? What was the one with Wilson? I can't remember the name of the movie Wilson.
Speaker 3Oh yeah, strand Away, castaway, castaway.
Speaker 1I mean, he was, yeah, 90% of that movie. It was just him.
Speaker 3Wilson. And a volleyball, but it was great. Yeah, I didn't saw that, and then I liked him in. You've.
Speaker 1Got Mail with Meg Ryan.
Speaker 3You know, the best movie he was ever in.
Speaker 2I'm sorry, I can't get past Strand away.
Speaker 3You know the best movie he was ever in, though my name's Forrest Forrest.
Speaker 1Gump oh yeah, but. And Saving Private Ryan oh he's good. Yeah, so he's good. I picked another decent one.
Speaker 3You did Mediocre, best you did. You need to read this A-B Bloods. You need to read this. What's the conspiracy? Oh, he's a whack job dude.
Speaker 1Oh yeah is that just like your opinion?
Speaker 3are we talking about john?
Speaker 2to tell us well said uh I'm gonna jump in with al pacino, I think devil's advocates? Oh, it's one of his best movies godfather I mean godfather 2 godfather 3 doesn't count no dog day afternoon, which is a fantastic movie. Donnie brasco serpico donnie brasco.
Speaker 3Yeah, or he's lefty two guns, yep, all good. Um, you know what they say about a made man in his money roll but it's.
Speaker 2It's kind of interesting when you look at the the see the thing that works against pacino and deniro, in my opinion, is they started just getting the paychecks because their connection no no, it's they would do a bad movie because of the paycheck they have.
Speaker 1They've had so now you're getting on somebody because they're getting paid.
Speaker 2Yeah, they're getting paid, you know, but they had some stinker movies.
Speaker 3But you know, one movie I liked that came out as a stinker that I really liked with Pacino was the Recruit, where they went to the CIA farm and they did.
Speaker 1I never watched it. It's very good, very good. What's the football movie he was in? Any Given Sunday oh yeah, the Sharks, I kind of forgot that Willie Bean, did you ever see?
Speaker 2the movie Heat.
Speaker 3Yeah, it's got Pacino and De Niro, Pacino De.
Speaker 2Niro Val Kilmer. I mean that's a great, that's an intense movie, Really good. Yep, who else we got Go ahead?
Speaker 3You're up.
Speaker 1I'm not up um, let me think here for a second yeah, um you mentioned, I like jeff ridges jeff ridges is great. Samuel lillard jackson oh, I got some words for him, a lot he's been.
Speaker 3He's been in a lot.
Speaker 2I got a lot of words for him, which one's your wallet, it's the one that says bingo that on it, ezekiel 38.4 and I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance I haven't watched it in a long time but I need to watch it again, so good yeah, it's been a long time since I've watched it, but he's good um then, he's new.
Speaker 2He's been in all those uh marvel movies or whatever you know, I tell you what I didn't really have the same. That like a lot of respect for this guy in early in his career. But as he's gotten older, brad pitt some of his movies have been awesome you can't talk.
Speaker 3I want to see him in a fight club or seven.
Speaker 1Those two movies, yeah, but oh, f1 yeah, f1, I want to watch All the Ocean's movies. He's so good. He's awesome in those. He's always eating something, but he's awesome in them.
Speaker 2Yeah, he's great and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Oh, I love it. He's unbelievable. How old are you? It's so good.
Speaker 3One thing I'm not willing to do is to go to jail for a.
Speaker 2I love that movie. I like any Tarantino movie and Glorious Bastards.
Speaker 3Love it.
Speaker 2My name's Lieutenant Aldo Raines.
Speaker 3I'm from Maryville, tennessee, and we are here to kill.
Speaker 2I'm a direct descendant of the front frontiersman Jim Bridger, or whatever that means. I got a little engine in me, that's right, that's funny.
Speaker 3Each one of you will bring me 10 scalps.
Speaker 1It's a hundred I mean, oh, it's a hundred, oh, yeah, but brad pitt's got good he's good I think he's more of the modern day.
Speaker 3Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I like morgan freeman a lot too. He's been in in the catch me if you can't not catch me, if you can um the magicians movie. They're really good. Oh, you know. Yeah, I've never seen those. They're both really good um um, oh, geez, I know and they're really good. But morgan freeman, when you get into shawshank, redemption and all that, just great movies yeah um, and you know he didn't start acting until much later in his life.
