three guys around the table and by three guys.
Speaker 3:We're talking about three friends a lawyer, an engineer and a school superintendent and just like our personalities, our opinions vary and we certainly don't always agree. Whether we're discussing the best of or giving our tips and tricks of, things in everyday life, you're sure to learn something if you stick around who's doing the intro? What are we learning about today? College three guys around the table, and by three guys.
Speaker 2:We're talking about five guys burgers, burgers and fries and fries that's terrible.
Speaker 3:First of all, we're talking about college football we're not talking about burgers and fries, we're talking about cracker barrel college football uncle herschel's gone.
Speaker 2:uncle herschel's's not gone? Okay, he's gone.
Speaker 1:It's not. This may be the worst 30 seconds we've ever had. Yeah, I'm sorry you said you were fired up about some college football. And now we're talking about Uncle Herschel.
Speaker 2:Greg, you've got to get us back on track. College football baby.
Speaker 1:I mean, we have passed week zero.
Speaker 2:Yes, week zero of the college football season's in the books. Did you watch any of the games? I did? I made money on one of them. I watched the games as well. Chris, did you watch any games? Uh, yeah, I did a little bit actually I watched a little bit of the iowa state, kansas state I watched the western game I'm I missed both of those and I watched the hawaii stanford game, which was a fantastic football game really was uh, that's not one.
Speaker 2:I don't think I can get behind, yeah look, stanford with andrew luck and frank reich and all that, and they go to hawaii. And the andrew luck parody account, uh, you know about captain, and yeah uh and doggone it if hawaii doesn't win on the last second field goal. Fantastic start to the season All right, let's start colors football. Yep.
Speaker 1:All right, let's talk about. You're the Ohio State Buckeyes, the defending national champion.
Speaker 2:It feels good to be able to say that, yes, it does.
Speaker 1:So now let me ask a quick question not to get us off to a rocky start, right, okay, yep, and I off to a rocky start, right, okay, yep, and I'm glad it feels good to say that I really am, yep. How does the average ohio state plan feel?
Speaker 2:I think really good to be, even though you've lost to michigan so much yes, I think. I think that because that that sounds like it contradicts what we've been told before look and remember what I said last year be oh and 11 and win that game against the rival and it would be a successful year. Now I'll, I'll say, on the reverse end of that, now going through the whole, winning this first expanded national playoff, going through and beating the teams that they.
Speaker 1:it was dominant at the end of the year, Uh no question.
Speaker 2:It cured a lot of ills. Sure People like me that were not big Ryan Day supporters Sure, greatest coach ever. I will pray to him now at night as the God, as you all should Lifetime contract Lifetime contract.
Speaker 3:You know what they say about him. In the national championship game he wins them. He won, never lost, undefeated.
Speaker 1:So coming off? How's the offseason been for Ohio?
Speaker 2:State Been pretty good, pretty good. I think they're due for a course reset here. A little bit. Lee Corso set. You've got a quarterback that's going to start. That's never played, basically.
Speaker 3:Well, you know what?
Speaker 2:they say about that.
Speaker 3:Never played, never lost, never played basically.
Speaker 2:Well, you know what they say about that never played.
Speaker 1:I did see that somebody. I was listening to a guy talking about the ohio state texas game. We're obviously going to talk about that, yeah, and they said both of those teams are coming in basically having to reload because the vast majority of both their teams productions are gone. They're both ranked in the eighties. One of them was like 83, 84. One was 89 of returning production.
Speaker 2:It's really interesting because, in all honesty, I think that I think Texas is going to be a really good challenge because of the Arch Manning factor. The one thing I'll say about Arch Manning getting a little overhyped for a guy that's played about 80 snaps, Okay, let's yeah, Sure, or 160 snaps I mean he's been electric when he's come in, but that's not going to be sustained.
Speaker 1:It's a little bit different. Uh, you know when, when.
Speaker 2:So let's just hold off on the you know Heisman trophy campaign just just yet. Having said that, they should be um, you know it's going to be a really good game. What I find interesting is that they're ranked number one and ohio state's ranked number two and, frankly, as an ohio state val, I don't care if they were 20th, it doesn't matter. But what I find interesting is that ohio state is ranked two. Texas is ranked one. They're playing each other the first game of the year. Ohio state's the defending national champions that beat texas in texas last year in basically a home game, and yet ohio state's ranked behind them, but ohio state's favored where's the game?
Speaker 2:played it. It's in columbus, that's why that's the reason, and so that's what's the spread the land's two and a half.
Speaker 3:That's why? Because you get a four-point bump at home. So on a neutral field, I think Texas is a half a point or a point favorite.
Speaker 1:I look, this is not betting advice. But, for those of us who gamble. I looked at this last week. As a matter of fact, the average home field advantage in college football is 3.18 points that's the average and then it breaks it down by team.
Speaker 1:And when you break it down by team and where they're playing at, I was a little bit surprised. Who do you think has the best home field advantage against the spread? I mean, there's no chance you'll get this right. The best in college football is 5.85 points. Is their home field advantage? It's Middle Tennessee State Okay, you would have never got that right the Broncos. But when you start whittling it down here, ohio State's not a ton above the average, but their home field advantage is three and a half points.
Speaker 2:I would think.
Speaker 1:So they're two and a half point favorites. So I think on a neutral side Vegas would have Texas at one point. But it's basically a pick-em game in the grand scheme of things. I find that.
Speaker 2:I like stats like that because it makes you dig into it a little bit. I would think that a place like LSU would be pretty high up on there.
Speaker 1:If it's Saturday night, it's definitely high up.
Speaker 2:But then again I would say, maybe not, because again they have to play teams that are pretty good coming into LSU.
Speaker 1:There are not any what you would consider big-name dominant teams up at the top. Now a team, if you thought about it, a team we just talked about Hawaii's up their third best because people got to travel so far and there's so many distractions in Hawaii. 100%, all that makes sense. The biggest big name school Oregon, I would say, or Alabama Up at the top is Florida State. Okay, oh yeah, florida State's advantage is 4.98 points. And Florida State Okay, oh yeah, florida State's advantage is 4.98 points.
Speaker 2:And what conference are they in the ACC? There you go. It's not a great conference, right? So I'm saying, your SEC and your Big Ten teams who play a little better competition, I don't think that it's going to be that big of a difference. What about your teams that aren't in a conference?
Speaker 1:It should be Well. The team, the highest SEC team, is Missouri.
Speaker 2:That's interesting Really.
Speaker 1:Four points, six, four points. What are you doing in Columbia, Missouri? They always play the game starting at 11 o'clock in the morning too. The biggest Big Ten team is Iowa State.
Speaker 2:No, they're in the Big 12.
Speaker 1:Hold on Nebraska.
Speaker 3:Oh Well, there's it, goes back to Nebraska it goes back for a long time too, right so.
Speaker 1:Nebraska's advantage is 4.91 points Interesting.
Speaker 3:You know what's not on that list, so I do like stuff like that. You know what's not on the list at all?
Speaker 1:Commonwealth Stadium it is on the list, and it's way better than what you would expect it Really. Kentucky's is higher than Ohio State's. Their home field advantage is 3.81 points go big blue.
Speaker 2:I'm shocked. It's because of you, it's because of the tailgating, it's because of you having multiple tailgating spots.
Speaker 1:That's true, that's true, hey, by the way he's got to have a place for the servants. All the minions when you have a home staff of like 30 people. You can't just have one place. So just so the mommy just so our listeners understand. So chris had to purchase an rv to to provide accommodate his rv parking spot exactly, and whereas most expensive parking spot of all time.
Speaker 2:And whereas that's true most people you know would have just gotten a typical travel trailer. Chris had to buy a Prevo 2024.
Speaker 1:He couldn't get a new Airstream in quick enough.
Speaker 2:Exactly, it was a $3 million luxury bus, and to him just write a check.
Speaker 1:Mommy.
Speaker 3:I'm going to need some advance you know what I said about my tailgate Never lost.
Speaker 1:You know what? Okay, so a lot of people are picking Penn State to win the big team.
Speaker 2:I think that, personally speaking, until James Franklin proves that he can win a game of significance, then I don't disagree, but there's a game of significance then I don't see it.
Speaker 1:I don't disagree, but there's a lot of people picking Penn State winning the national title.
Speaker 2:Look if you've watched Drew Aller play quarterback and he's getting a lot of hype for a lot of zero reason. The guy folds in big games. What?
Speaker 3:did, he do?
Speaker 2:What did he do last year against Notre Dame? Folded Big game. Has he ever beat Ohio State? He do last year against Notre Dame Folded Big game. Has he ever beat Ohio State? Nope, not even close.
Speaker 1:So you're saying Ohio State is what against Penn State? Never lost, undefeated, never lost.
Speaker 2:So I think that hype train is a little quick to leave the station too. So, having said that they're loaded with skill players, their running backs are really solid.
Speaker 1:Is that Ty Van Becker, or is he gone?
Speaker 2:No, he's gone. God, he was legit. Yeah, he's a beast. He'll be a stud on Sundays. Their defense is really good, but you know, I just Franklin's never won a big game Ever. He choked last year, ever, yeah, and so once they win a game, then maybe we can discuss it.
Speaker 1:So who's the best? Do you think Penn State's the best team in the Big Ten, not counting Ohio State?
Speaker 2:Yeah, I would think so. Whose things? That gets to be a really interesting question, because you know, I'm not going to say the team up north simply because they're starting a true freshman quarterback who's supposedly a legit Supposed to be the number one recruit simply because they're starting a true freshman quarterback.
Speaker 3:Who's?
Speaker 2:supposedly supposed to be number one. Number one recruit. They're playing, they're paying him $10 million. Bryce Underwood yeah, $10 million.
Speaker 1:Having said all that, obviously he's not a golfer, exactly.
Speaker 2:Um, there are going to be some some pretty decent teams that are going to shocks and people, uh, in the Big Ten there are some that have a difficult schedule. I think Indiana's got a little more challenging schedule this year Last year's schedule was favorable, but the quarterback that they got in can sling it. Okay, indiana's new quarterback is legit. I would throw out the name Illinois. I think Illinois has a chance to surprise some teams this year, so now play football there. I think Ohio state has the best player in the country. I don't.
Speaker 3:I don't think that's are you calling it this year? You called it last year. You can call it this year.
Speaker 2:No, uh, colin, what he could totally win. The husband, no, no, no. The national championship you called it last year, I did, but no, I'm not calling it this year because again it's hard to win back-to-back NIL's changed this. And when you're playing two quarterbacks, they've got two quarterbacks that have never played and a third guy that's a freshman, just like Underwood is. So I mean, at the end of the day no, I'm not going to call that. So who's your pick?
Speaker 1:um, I think that georgia will be right there at the end. I don't think that. What if the speed limit signs?
Speaker 2:that's the issue are they going? To have enough eligible players to be able to play kind of like so all right, let's talk about the sec.
Speaker 1:Yeah, let's go the sec, now go. Who's the best team in the sec?
Speaker 2:texas, you gotta say texas, number one I think, I think alabama, by the time it's all said and done, is going to be right there. I don't, I don't, coach yet I don't trust the coach either.
Speaker 1:That's the issue I got with them. It's almost like Penn State they got talent.
Speaker 2:Talent and they got a lot of returning players.
Speaker 3:But I don't trust the coach.
Speaker 2:Is.
Speaker 3:Steve Sarkeesian, one of the best coaches in the country right now.
Speaker 1:I think he's one of the best offensive minds in the country. I don't know that I would call him the best coach you got outcoached in the Cotton Bowl.
Speaker 2:I say that, Ryan Day.
Speaker 3:Lifetime contract. You know what they said about him in the Cotton Bowl.
Speaker 1:You know what? Michigan is ecstatic.
Speaker 2:Ryan Day is nailed down. I can tell you that right now he just can't coach that game.
Speaker 1:Because he loses his mind on who he is. Yeah, all the Michigan coach has got to do is say we who he is. Yeah, all the michigan coach has got to do is say we're gonna go down there and we're gonna out physical them. Yeah, and that's it. We're just gonna run it down their throat and we're gonna dare them to run it on us and ryan day. I'll be like it's second and 38.
Speaker 2:We're running it up the middle. Yeah, exactly, it's true, that's a valid point, but I think that this run to the national title because what they did that was different that every Ohio State fans have been crying for for the last four years Open up the offense. So, as soon as there was no pressure on them. Look what they did.
Speaker 1:When you have the best wide receiver in the country, get him the ball.
Speaker 2:Yeah, you brought in a quarterback from Kansas State that not a whole lot of people wanted and Ryan Day made him A story about that.
Speaker 3:I mean legit Before we go back to the SEC. Did you hear what happened in that Iowa State-Kansas State game in Dublin? I watched most of it. So all the bars around Dublin, around Temple Bar area, wanted to get. There's so many fans, you know so many Americans are over there for the games. They want to bring them all down there. So they ordered a bunch of flags to put out. You know Iowa State flags, that kind of stuff. They went online, ordered the Iowa State flags and they also ordered the Kansas State flags. The problem is they ordered the Kansas State flag.
Speaker 2:The state of Kansas.
Speaker 3:Everywhere. It's their state flag, that's hilarious, that's good.
Speaker 2:Yeah, they sit all over Temple Park, all right. So let's get back into the SEC. Who do you think is going to be the top of the SEC?
Speaker 1:I think Texas has to beat Georgia before I can put them in charge of it.
Speaker 3:That's where I'm at. Listen, I hate to say it. I mean, you don't know what's going on with Tennessee because they've got a quarterback that just transferred in from UCLA transferred in from UCLA. You don't know what's happening with him. Alabama, georgia never count them out. Texas I don't know what Is Oklahoma back this year or not?
Speaker 2:I got no faith in Oklahoma, venables is going to be toast. They love that guy there, though.
Speaker 1:It's unbelievable how much they love that guy. I can't believe he's still got a job. I don't think Oklahoma is going to be great.
Speaker 3:I think LSU is going to be good.
Speaker 1:I think LSU has got the potential to be pretty good, they've got a good game, I mean they.
Speaker 3:But their quarterback is an idiot too, you know me. I've always liked.
Speaker 1:Brian Kelly. I mean, I liked him at Cincinnati, I liked him at Notre Dame. The SEC is a little different.
Speaker 3:I mean, that's different than being Notre Dame. He's so easy to dislike, though, when you hear him talk. Oh yeah, they got a big game coming up this weekend. They got.
Speaker 2:Clemson I do love it a few years ago when he went to LSU in the very first press conference. Well y'all, I'm glad me down here.
Speaker 1:Absolutely, let's shut up. My favorite thing about him doing the LSU job is when you know the platform you can get on and the camera goes around you. Oh, he looks like such a goober on it. Oh yeah, it's terrible, yeah, awful.
Speaker 3:But you know he did follow up. Go Tigers. Yeah, that's true, but LSU's going to be great now.
Speaker 1:That Clemson game's going to tell you a lot. Well, but Clemson's seven right.
Speaker 2:There's games this first weekend, yes, but it will make no difference, right, if you win or lose this weekend. No, no, I mean, it's just fun that it's. Oh yeah, absolutely, and that's what you know. There's not a lot of stress when you're in the first week in this new era. Yeah, back in the back in the day. Yeah, if you lost this first week, it's bad, okay not hold on.
Speaker 3:That's not true for everybody, my dearly beloved wildcats.
Speaker 1:They got. Look, they better win their best case scenario. I've looked at their schedule. Their best case scenario is four and eight. They better win this weekend.
Speaker 2:So are we saying four is the number Five?
Speaker 1:If I was putting a line, I'd put the line at three and a half, I'd go five. I don't see five games they can win.
Speaker 3:They'll slip up yeah and lose one. They better win this weekend Toledo's legit Toledo's got my money.
Speaker 2:I can tell you that right now, toledo has a really, really good coach. Didn't they win? The MAAC last year Isn't his name Jason Candle or something like that. I think that's his name.
Speaker 1:Can you Google that? I will not be stunned at all if Toledo wins. If Toledo wins, what?
Speaker 3:happens to the stadium after that.
Speaker 1:The rest of the game. Do you think, ole Miss game will still?
Speaker 3:have plenty of people. You think all my people will continue to come. Yeah, okay, because I've got to know whether to set my quarters up.
Speaker 2:I think Toledo's coach name is Jason Candle Really really good offensive mind. Legitimately they you know in the MAAC they've always been a really strong team Jason Candle.
Speaker 3:Yeah, ooh. Well, the reason I say this is because UK just announced that Calzada is their quarterback. They went with Calzada.
Speaker 1:And where did he quarterback at last year? Incarnate Word, where did he play he's?
Speaker 3:a seven-year player Did he?
Speaker 1:play is the question. He's been at every school in the country he's been at.
Speaker 3:Texas A&M Auburn.
Speaker 1:Incarnate Word.
Speaker 3:So at Incarnate Word, he threw last year for 6,000 yards. He played against a pretty decent high school team Hang on and they didn't even score a touchdown this weekend.
Speaker 1:So at least last year he threw for 6,000 yards with them. So at least they had something. It's incarnate word. Where's that out of? Is that a college? I mean, I'd put Trinity against them. Is that the University of? Phoenix, I feel like Trinity would get the 22 straight regular season.
Speaker 2:Win Franklin County Flyers against incarnate word. That's what I'm saying I'd be.
Speaker 1:I'd consider frank if call off. But anyway, kentucky, all right, mark yep you're you're the impartial person. Yes, let's give you kentucky schedule, let's do it, never lost this first game.
Speaker 2:I think they win.
Speaker 1:But I think the point spreads. I'm forgiving it to you.
Speaker 2:Yeah, they got Toledo at home. I think that UK wins, but it's going to be closer to what people think it is 1-0.
Speaker 1:Yep, they got Ole Miss coming to town.
Speaker 2:No way, ole Miss 1-1.
Speaker 1:They got Eastern Michigan at home. Yeah, they'll win that one. Then we lose like six in a row, so you're 2-1 right now. At South Carolina loss 2-2. At Georgia loss. Texas at home big loss, big big loss. So now you're at 2-4. 2-4. Tennessee at home loss 2-5. At Auburn loss 2-6.
Speaker 2:Florida at home that's going to be a loss because Florida's ticked Right.
Speaker 3:You've lost six in a row right now, I think you'd take Auburn, I think you'd win Auburn, not down there. No chance you win at Auburn.
Speaker 1:All right, let's say you do so. You're at three and five, you're at two and six. Yep, tennessee Tech at home, that's a win. Yep, I agree.
Speaker 2:Three, three you're at four at vanderbilt loss.
Speaker 1:Win five no, no chance, zero percent diego pavia is throwing for 300 and at louisville, that's a loss. That's a loss. There's no chance they can beat louisville. Zero percent. Yep, I'll give you whatever you want to bet on that game yeah, and we already owe him 10 bucks.
Speaker 2:there's a hundred percent chance, because we got to get an update on that and yeah, and we already owe him $10.
Speaker 1:That's true. There's a 100% chance, because we got to get an update on that and my Cubs are 8-2 in the last 10.
Speaker 3:They're rolling, aren't we just a half game back now? Wild card.
Speaker 1:Yeah, but that means you're like 13 games back Right In the bit.
Speaker 3:that matters Whatever, but anyway.
Speaker 1:Whatever. Okay, so you had them at four. Yeah, I think that's best case scenario. Yeah, I don't see a game there. They're going to win. You think they might beat Vandy, you think they might beat?
Speaker 2:Auburn. I don't think there's a chance they may lose to Toledo. Okay.
Speaker 1:Starting a new quarterback and all that stuff. And the thing about it is the Auburn game. There's no question. You've lost five in a row coming into it. The season is over, he's already fired. If you lose Toledo, there is no chance you're winning any of those. I don't know if you can fire him at $34 million by now.
Speaker 2:Anyone can do anything they have to do?
Speaker 1:I've told you this my prediction is Kentucky does not go to a bowl game and that John Summerall is the coach next year.
Speaker 3:I've told you that Is that the right move?
Speaker 1:I've told you that for a year.
Speaker 3:I know we like him because he's a Boyle County boy and he played there and all that. Is he the right move?
Speaker 1:I think he's the move.
Speaker 3:Why don't we just bring in Gruden? He wants to come.
Speaker 1:He does not want to come to Kentucky. He held out for years and years and years to only try to get the Raiders job because he thought that was what it was going to be.
Speaker 2:He wants the Florida job. He wants to stay in Florida. That's where he's at. He lives down there.
Speaker 1:He may get it if they lay an egg Billy.
Speaker 2:Napier's on shaky. He should have got fired last year.
Speaker 1:I hope I'm wrong. I hope Kentucky goes 6-6 and goes to a bowl game. I just don't see it and I see this as the end of the Stoops era, and it ended two years ago when he tried to take Texas A&M John.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I agree with that and told people to pony up Yep, yep.
Speaker 1:Yep, I mean, it ended then.
Speaker 2:All right. So what about other college football teams that?
Speaker 1:we're interested in. I love Notre Dame, y'all know. I love Touchdown. Jesus, let's talk.
Speaker 3:Notre Dame Catholics versus convicts this weekend Starts it out.
Speaker 1:Notre Dame is a two and a half point favorite in that game.
Speaker 2:I want to talk about another game this weekend. Greg already knows what I want to talk about.
Speaker 3:Is yours in a conference or no?
Speaker 1:Conferences are clearly overrated in this era. Tennessee versus.
Speaker 2:Syracuse that in this era Tennessee versus Syracuse.
Speaker 1:That's a big game. That game's at Syracuse.
Speaker 2:And the spread is 14.
Speaker 3:That's hard to believe and they're both ranked right. I'm not a gambler.
Speaker 2:I'm not a gambler and I know Syracuse is replacing their quarterback, but I'm laying every last dollar on Syracuse getting those 14 points.
Speaker 3:Listen, I'm going to tell you Tennessee just got their quarterback two weeks ago and he's from UCLA and he's from UCLA, who was awful.
Speaker 2:He was terrible, Yep Now you know, they've got a lot of skilled players, but they lost a lot of skilled players too. But who did?
Speaker 3:UCLA get as their quarterback, tennessee's quarterback yeah, how weird is that.
Speaker 2:I am Avea or whatever his name is yeah, yes, yeah.
Speaker 3:So but yes.
Speaker 1:So if Notre Dame can get through the first two weeks, they'll probably go undefeated. Okay Are you calling it? Uh, if they get through the first two weeks of the regular season, I think they'll go undefeated in the regular season.
Speaker 2:They don't have a, I don't think they'll win the national championship. Who's their toughest games?
Speaker 1:It's the first two weeks they play at Miami and then they play Texas A&M.
Speaker 3:At A&M or home, home.
Speaker 1:They played down there last year, and then it becomes not very difficult, whoever they schedule because they don't play a conference schedule. They do play. At a conference schedule, they play the ACC.
Speaker 2:Are they playing at North Carolina? Perchance no.
Speaker 1:Then they have Purdue at home. That's a win. They play at Arkansas, which could be a difficult game.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:They got Boise State, north Carolina State, usc, boston college, navy, pittsburgh, syracuse, stanford usc and boise are those two games at home? Boise is at home and usc is at home and boys is at home I mean those teams are pre-season ranked. Those should, those should be wins five or six out Out of that group. Yeah, miami of Ohio is 10th. Texas A&M is 19th. Miami of Ohio, they play them. Miami of Florida is 10th Woo. Texas A&M is 19th, boise State's 25th. That's it, I think.
Speaker 3:I didn't realize A&M was ranked.
Speaker 2:I didn't give you my prediction for Ohio State's record. I'll go. What's their?
Speaker 1:hardest games.
Speaker 2:Texas, obviously I think you know.
Speaker 1:Well for them, michigan.
Speaker 2:Texas, that team up north. No, it's true. I mean, it's a mental.
Speaker 3:Look, it's mental For 20 years.
Speaker 1:Do you know, if they lose this game, then this senior class will have never beat Michigan, right? I mean, how many times has that happened? I know, I know Ohio state's dominated it for 20 years.
Speaker 2:Ohio state lost once and then for the last four years. They're just what's it called when the pitcher can't throw the first base. Yeah, yips, the yips.
Speaker 3:I think Ohio state has the yips.
Speaker 2:Anyway, Penn state, the team up North and Texas are going to be the three toughest games um well, and you were talking about ranked teams, so they play texas.
Speaker 1:Obviously it's ranked.
Speaker 2:Their next ranked game is at illinois, and illinois is going to be pretty decent this year, I'm telling you, that's not going to be an easy game.
Speaker 1:Then they got penn state at home yeah, you're home, yeah. And then they go to michigan. That's their ranked game.
Speaker 2:So I I think 10 and 2 is is legitimately probably what it's going to be. They could be 11 and 1, just I think, I think they're going to start. Oh and one. I'll just go on the record. I think they lose the first game. But much like cj stroud when he's quarterbacked oh State their first four games. He struggled, they struggled and then he started growing and by the end of the year they were nearly unbeatable.
Speaker 3:How good would it be for you guys if we get to the playoffs, playoffs. And you got Notre Dame at 10-2 and Ohio State at 10-2. We'd have to go. I'd be down Playoffs. We'd have to go.
Speaker 2:Playoffs. Are you serious Playoffs? I'd be down, that'd be fun.
Speaker 1:They are who we thought they were and they let it slip away. Who's got the hardest schedule in college football? This? Year, I don't know I haven't looked.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:That's a good question. Is it an SEC team?
Speaker 2:I think it would probably have to be.
Speaker 1:I'm Googling it as we speak.
Speaker 2:Texas can't be that easy having to go to Ohio State and then having to play the big boys.
Speaker 1:This says that Wisconsin has the toughest schedule. On Google, it says Wisconsin has the toughest schedule. And by Google says Wisconsin has the toughest schedule. And, by the way, luke Fickle, bye-bye Now, sports Illustrated says that Oklahoma's is the toughest schedule.
Speaker 3:SEC.
Speaker 1:And Florida's is second and Arkansas's third, then Wisconsin, then Vandy, and Kentucky's is eighth. So in the top eight, well, in the top ten, well, in the top 10, according to sports illustrated, nine, nine of them are sec teams.
Speaker 2:Good, god, what about an ai? Because yeah, I said wisconsin, and then it said um, it says wisconsin.
Speaker 1:ai overview says Wisconsin has the toughest 2025 college football schedule, according to both FB schedules and Phil Steele's rankings. Phil Steele Featuring games against six highly ranked opponents like Alabama, michigan and Ohio State. Other teams with notorious schedules include LSU, oklahoma, mississippi State and Syracuse. Wisconsin faces six preseason top 25 teams. That's yeah, so more importantly than that, Chris wants to not talk about college football anymore. Quick hitter Yep. Who wins the Big Ten? I think Ohio State wins the Big.
Speaker 2:Ten yep, who wins the big 10? I think ohio state wins big. Who wins the big 10?
Speaker 1:ohio state I'm gonna be the odd man out.
Speaker 2:I'm gonna say james franklin gets through, okay wow all right sec georgia, georgia, I'm gonna shock the world. Alabama, alabama, alabama wins.
Speaker 3:It's a coin toss between those two. I hate to to say that, well, you got Texas in there too, but when do you have?
Speaker 1:Notre Dame finishing.
Speaker 2:I'd say they're 11-1 and in the playoff.
Speaker 1:Oh yeah, if they're 11-1, they're in. Yeah, I agree.
Speaker 3:Yeah, they're not going to win their conference championship.
Speaker 1:That's true.
Speaker 3:They're going to they actually are they.
Speaker 1:Independence yeah, they will. They'll beat Navy and Army.
Speaker 2:They'll probably have one of those Notre Dame games where they just Like last year they lost a game they should have never lost. Yeah, they'll have one of those stinkers, but then you know what they said when they lost that game Should have never lost.
Speaker 1:No, they did All right. Who do?
Speaker 2:you have in the national championship game. That's really tough. I'll go first, go ahead.
Speaker 1:Georgia, penn State, okay.
Speaker 3:I would say Georgia, Penn State.
Speaker 2:Okay, that means we got Franklin winning like three big games this year and I say, georgia wins it all, though I'm going to go Alabama and Ohio State, and who do you have winning it? Alabama, I think Georgia.
Speaker 1:I think the SEC gets back on top this year. I think so too I chose Alabama.
Speaker 2:I'm going with the dogs. Again, it's a coin flip.
Speaker 3:Any year from year to year. You could say Alabama, Georgia, you could say Ohio State.
Speaker 1:I don't trust Alabama's coaching a few.
Speaker 3:I put.
Speaker 1:James Franklin in the championship game, but I think his talent's too good this year.
Speaker 2:Since that playoff system started. What team has been in that playoff more than any other team?
Speaker 3:Ohio.
Speaker 2:State, ohio State I think that you can choose any of those teams, but what I don't see this year is that one kind of yeah, standout. Yeah. Not yet I think we're all thinking Colorado, right? Do they have a team? Wait a minute.
Speaker 1:Wait a minute. Have they not retired all their jerseys yet? Hey, a team. Wait a minute. Have they not retired all their jerseys yet?
Speaker 3:You know who doesn't have a team. Shiloh Shiloh took a swing at a guy.
Speaker 1:That's true. Let's talk about Cracker Barrel. You're pulling out candy bars.
Speaker 3:While I'm peeling this candy bar back, we're going back to our candy bars. This is from Germany. It's called Daim D-A-I M. I don't know anything about it.
Speaker 1:But anyhow, cracker Barrel, I hope it's. You know what? I hope it is Nein Cracker.
Speaker 3:Barrel make a mistake. Yes or no? Trying to rebrand, to get into bigger cities without having the country store?
Speaker 1:Well, if you look at their stock price.
Speaker 2:I think that's an easy answer.
Speaker 1:If you look at their stock price, they should have not rebadged.
Speaker 2:Are you addressing this from a political perspective?
Speaker 3:No, no, no, nothing political. From a business perspective it was a terrible move.
Speaker 1:If they were going to make that move, they should have made that move four or five years ago and not now. So here's what.
Speaker 3:I say Cheesecake Factory. This is a shout out for you. I love cheesecake. I love the Cheesecake Factory for their cheesecake. I like some of the things on the menu. Why does your menu have to be so big? Do what you do, do it well and be the best at it, and Cracker Barrel had done that. All right, damn, ooh, that's good.
Speaker 1:I'm crunching right out. What is it? Well, I can't taste it, but it has the texture of a Heath bar.
Speaker 2:Toffee. It tastes like a German Heath bar, A real thin toffee. So instead of Heath it's like I don't know, Heinrich.
Speaker 1:Heinrich bar, that's good. I like me some Heath bar. Let me just get. Let me get Now. I don't like how it gets stuck in my choppers.
Speaker 3:You know why they call us what they do Because it's damn good. So are you giving it nine, nine, nine? All right, I'm going to throw you off for another look, how are we going to grade it? I think it's good, I'd eat that. I wish it was thicker.
Speaker 1:It's thin, it's real thin it reminded me of a Heathmore, completely texture-wise. 7.7. As you guys know, I can't taste I'd give it an eight one by everybody.
Speaker 3:Knows the rules I'd give it an eight. I think it's good it's sticking on my tufas.
Speaker 1:Yeah, this one is unique so you, you guys know, while he's opening this, you know I watch those pizza reviews by your boy.
Speaker 3:Yeah, but you know what drives me crazy about him?
Speaker 1:you know what drives me crazy about? He literally says every one of them. He says one bite everybody knows the rules and he takes like seven bites yep okay, it's not one daggone bite, then dude. Well, here's the deal.
Speaker 2:By the way, um, he's going to be on the fox football show I'll never watch fox pregame show again, sorry, all right this is.
Speaker 3:this is a where's Sorry. All right, where's this from Butterscotch Snickers from the UK.

Speaker 2:I like the soft chewy werther's this is good, though that's really interesting.
Speaker 1:It is interesting, it's good, very rich. Let me ask you two a question. Yes, as you know, I can't taste it. You got a texture though, yeah, but is it? It seemed a little harder than what a normal stickers was.
Speaker 3:That's a little old.
Speaker 1:Well, I didn't say stale but, it seemed a little it didn't have the creamier texture as what a normal sticker.
Speaker 2:I get like a little butter rum.
Speaker 3:I got. Yes, yes, yes.
Speaker 2:Like those butter rum lifesavers. Have you ever had those? Yeah, I've had those.
Speaker 3:That's when you had the book at Christmas with all the lifesavers in it. We still do that every year. They still make those, oh wow.
Speaker 1:Which one did you like better?
Speaker 3:I like the first one better.
Speaker 2:I like this one better. I'm going to go 8.6. Notice all of my numbers add up to 14. That's a good number, that's a great number, it's the greatest number.
Speaker 3:Alright, all right, here we go. This is Hazelnuss from Germany. We know what that means. It does. It looks like it. Oh boy, I just yeah. Let's see what I just witnessed. Hazelnuss Noose is nuts. Hazel was the old neighbor in the old neighborhood. She cleaned houses. Hazel was a terrible TV show.
Speaker 2:It was awful.
Speaker 3:This looks like on the back. It looks like the crispy crackle with the rice Popped rice.
Speaker 1:Are you smacking into the microphone?
Speaker 3:Know what it tastes like. No, I don't know what it tastes like. It's nondescript Hazelnut Hazelnut, okay. What kind of nuts is that in it? Hazelnutut, that's why it's called hazelnut. Thanks, it's pretty good um this one to me is my least favorite of these three it doesn't have that flavor until you like to get that aftertaste it's too milky or something hmm, do you like your chocolate dark?
Speaker 2:I like my chocolate like Gunther. I like my chocolate like Gunther.
Speaker 3:Dark chocolate Now. I can get it higher. That's pretty good.
Speaker 1:That's the difference between you guys and me and them.

Speaker 2:I'm going to go 6.8 on this one, the first one was my favorite one. I brought out the. Japanese cookies too.
