Not only is Sushila Shah’s story all of the above, but it is also a story of exuberant family love, sacrifice and support.

Sushila (85) is an engineer by training (the first woman engineering graduate at her university), and had a long career as a civil engineer during which she designed bridges and dams for irrigation projects in India, and worked as a design engineer for nuclear power plants in Pennsylvania and Iowa. She had a burning ambition to do good and make a difference, and as good luck would have it, ended up marrying a man very progressive for his time who solidly supported her, and a mother-in-law who also proudly uplifted her and ‘mothered’ her while she worked.

Sushila’s belief in karma keeps her level headed, and her sane and wise philosophy of not being reward-oriented helped her succeed in life.

Listen as she shares her chock full of wisdom, her spiritual journey, and her deep understanding of Reiki.
