#17. New Years Intentions ft. My Family
If you could use a little 2024 New Year’s inspiration, you’ve come to the right place!
In this episode, I first share why you don’t need to put so much dang pressure on yourself around the New Year and how we actually have 24 magical opportunities throughout the year to check in with ourselves, reflect, and make meaningful change. The New Year is NOT YOUR ONLY CHANCE so release the pressure and the worry!
I also interview three of the wisest people in my life to share their own reflections on 2023, intentions for 2024, and wishes for the entire world at this point in time. The three wise souls you’ll get to hear from are:
-Alys Smith: my mom, First Lady of Marshall University, Founder of the Women Warriors Summit, Philanthropist, Lawyer, Mediator, and joyful Sagittarius
-Brad D. Smith: my dad, President of Marshall University, Fortune 500 Board Director, Former CEO, Leadership Coach, Philanthropist, and strong Aries
-Kal Heyn: my husband, current Data Analyst (although soon-to-be a globe-trotting digital nomad on a journey of self discovery alongside his wife), Spiritual Student, Multi-Passionate Renaissance Man, and playful Gemini
