Jesus Joins the Journey - Sermon 27th April, 2025
This Sunday, we begin our new series, "Eyewitness: Part 1: Seeing Jesus Changes Everything," with an encouraging message titled "Jesus Joins the Journey," based on Luke 24:13–32. In this passage, two disciples walk the road to Emmaus - confused, heartbroken, and unsure of what comes next when Jesus draws near and walks alongside them. They don't recognize Him at first, but their eyes are opened as He opens the Scriptures and breaks bread with them. Rev. Chad Fransen will preach this week's message, reminding us that Jesus still meets us on the road, in our uncertainty, questions, and every day. As we reflect on this story, we'll be encouraged that an encounter with the risen Jesus changes everything. He's still showing up, and when He does, we begin to see the world and our place in it differently. Join us this Sunday, as we walk the road together!
