The Mom Panel: It Takes a Village! And Play/Parenting Tips...

Jackie de Godbout Season 2 Episode 1

On today’s episode of The Mom Panel, we went behind the scenes—but not quite the way we planned! Jill, Tiesha, Michelle, and I (Jackie) opened up about the real work we do for our clients and how each of us had to build or lean on a village at different points in motherhood.

Tiesha shares what it was like having an “older” village as a teen mom, I talk about being a busy single parent who had to prioritize friendships early, Michelle opens up about having no one after her NICU experience, and Jill talks about teaming up with her sister to create her own support system.

We meant to dive deeper into our professional work—but the conversation flowed into something even more honest and needed.

Toward the end, I tried to squeeze in parenting tips about play (Jill nailed it!)... but we somehow ended with a hilarious story about twins and nap time poop. Yep. You’ll want to hear my unexpected "tip of the day."
