14 Travis Scott Air Jordan ones have released over the years, and this is the moment we've been waiting for. Everything, right? The ranking video. We've done this before in the past. Remember, we did this before? There was like four releases that had came out. Right. And then it just started flooding with all this stuff. How many years has it been? A few years. We're gonna dive in, we're gonna unbox them like we typically do. We're gonna go through poll results. We're gonna talk about history, nostalgia, price, value, all the things that go along with these shoes. And we got the OG, we got me, and you know everything about the shoes. We're gonna we're gonna dissect all of this. It's gonna be a big history lesson, a learning lesson. There's so much to go over. So let's just get started with the first shoe because I got so much to say. First up, the Travis Scott Mocha High. Well, let's see the box. You got the brown box. This was a big switch up because it was normally the black box, right? Then you got the pink paper. This already set things off. What did you think about the pink paper? I like it. This set the tone for a little bit. It's a weird combination, but the pink and brown, though. Yeah, the pink and brown. It makes sense though. Yeah, like I get it. So you got the branding. We're gonna see, we're gonna go through this one a little bit, just a little bit for the packaging, understanding the branding, the paper, all these things, where it was rooted from, and then you'll see that relay throughout. So I don't have to explain it as much on the other pieces. Filling that pack, you got the shoe. Oh, yeah, you got the shoe. All right, first one. What you thinking? This right here. So I told y'all before, like, I'm not that big of a you know cactus jack fan. But this one right here, though, I really like this one. Okay, this was one of the ones when it came out. I was like, I'll mess with that. Yeah, you know, because it's clean, but it was a trip when I first seen this shoe. Because now I'm saying this again to you. You had this this backwards on one side, but not the other side. Okay, you were thinking it should have been backwards on both sides, it should have been backwards on both sides. Honestly, we haven't seen one with it backwards on both, and it would be kind of dope to see one with backwards on both. Right? You know what I'm saying? Is that making sense? I wouldn't be mad at that. Okay. I think it's just because of the shape of the shoe and how the inside of the foot is and everything, right? And like the panel. But they just I don't know. But anyway, that was. That was the only thing that was my only thing. But also, everything else was this opened the door for like the conversation of again. We're gonna cover a little bit more on this one just because this is like the root of it all, and then we'll get to other stuff. But this opened the door for the conversation of backwards foosh, right? Everybody's like, oh, first to do it, and then like, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute. Like, let's talk about it, like, let's learn some history, you know. Right, so then that whole thing opened up that can of worms, more people start getting into it. Mind you, we're talking prime, like off-white ones, uh, these, then you had Diors, you had all this stuff coming out, so hype around Jordan 1 was all time high. But the materials on this is crazy nice. They did good. Like, this wasn't like a Dennis Robinson shoot, so I'm just saying, yeah, you had that on the switch, but they excelled on these inside with the satin all inside of there, all around the collar, just something different. They exceled on this shack branding, the little hit right here with the you know, the glossy text, the material. You feel that leather? Like, that's what I'm saying. Like this whole shoe, bananas on the materials. So, for this shoe, quick backstory. Uh, I hit two pairs on sneakers app, I got another pair that was used. I wore those for a while, and everybody's like, Oh, you got both your dead stock. I actually had a used pair that I was wearing, but I just got rid of them uh doing it. I traded a pair for the mags, so I had got I had both um of those and then these still. So I was like, I'll trade those two, keep this dead stock pair still, and you know, I'll probably never get rid of this one. Hopefully, find another used pair. Yeah, uh I've had my time rocking them, you know. I'm saying I've enjoyed rocking them, and now I still got my DS pair from OG Times and got them hit for retail on sneakers app on both, which was crazy. Like, it was a dope, just dope things. The pair of Travis ones that I wear the most personally is definitely the Mocha High. I think it's the most classic pair. I also had to pay a lot to get them, so I'm trying to get that dollar per wear average down a little bit. Now we're gonna unbox the rest. I have some other homies that I've contacted that's gonna send me their information on what they think. Some of your other favorite sneaker YouTubers, they're gonna pop in as we go throughout this video too and give us their thoughts and opinions. So we're gonna have everybody pull up. Everybody in this, we got everybody pull up. It's a party. Sit back, kick your feet up. So I hope you guys are enjoying this and having a good day because this is gonna be a good one. All the hype aside, to be a hundred percent honest with you all. The Mocha Travis Scott Reigns Supreme, in my opinion. This is one of many Travis Scott Jordan sneakers that I do own, and this happens to also be the most expensive pair that I've bought. Spending around $1,400. I paid peak resale value for these joints right here, so these are definitely a keeper in the collection. Notice with the box, same thing, same time, same era. Flip the lid off, make it quick and easy, and then we got the shoe. Oh this right here was one of the ones, though. Not hype beast. I'm just telling you, it got more black, and when I seen that more black on it, for me, that that took it to another level. This pair is absolutely goaded. You know, that's what did it for me. So with this one, I had two pairs, I had a sample pair, actually, I had three pairs. I had a sample pair, I had a pair that was not my size, then I got this pair, um, and then I got rid of the sample pair. I traded my sample pair for the Cause 4s because they were not my size either. So I was like, oh, this is cool. I can get another like grail in my collection in exchange for that pair. Right. These went up a little bit, the cause kind of settled around the same price. I thought I was happy with the deal at the end of the day. You ain't gonna make a deal with that. And I still got these, you know what I'm saying? Like, it was a win all around for me, in my opinion. Right. So you see, I traded one for the mags, traded one for the cars, like we're making wide strategic. You know what I'm saying? We're making good progress. So this one sets the tone for the low tops. Then people said, wait a minute, there's a high top sample that looks like these. What's up with that? Are those coming out? Like, what's going on here? So then we started seeing high top samples, different versions, iterations of that over the years, and people are gonna we're gonna talk about some of the samples as we get throughout this, too. Uh, because people are like, Oh, what why don't you include that? I'm like, bruh, general releases that came out to the public, should be on this. We don't want to make it unfair to throw in peace he had some that never came out. We're gonna just do the GR. What's going on, DJ? Thank you for hitting me on this topic. Honestly, it's not one I feel that passionately about. I'm gonna say up top, I don't own any Travis Scott Jordan ones. I don't think I ever bought any Travis Scott Jordan ones, but I will say, if I can be a little cheeky in terms of Travis Scott ones, I think the best one is the Nike Air Force one. Yeah, the the canvas with the piping and the removal swooshes, I like those a lot. Boom, things switch up. Now we got the conversation with the collaboration. People's like, these are gonna be way more limited. What's going on? Resale price is higher than the other ones, right? They're going stupid, they like two bands. Like, what's going on? Like, so for me, I got these, I didn't get my size when I got them, but I was like, I still had to pick them up because I got them for a good deal, and then I was able to trade for my size, which was convenient, and also amazing deal because the smaller size was worth less than my size, but I was fortunate enough to be able to trade straight across, so I didn't have to like add cash and stuff, right? Which was dope. So, as you can see, you got the shroud. Remember, we talked about the paper, the branding, and everything, plastic shroud on the exterior part of that, and then we have the blue box switch up because of the fragment with the blue and everything, right? But the paper on the inside, same with the pink. Now, what do you think about that blue pink combo? I honestly I like the brown better, but it's still kind of clean though. It's cool, it is clean, but the I don't know why the brown hit better to me. Oh, I know the brown hits for sure. Peeling that back, you got the shoe. Oh, yeah. All right, what you thinking about this one? Well, y'all know, like cobalt blue, royal blues, like that's my color. And you know, I'm rocking with the blue, baby. You know what's funny? You know what's so funny, y'all. We started this video. He's like, you know, I ain't no hype's, no, like the Travis Scott's like that. Like, you know, I just try to keep it cool. But I swear, he's three for three right now. He's grinning, he's smiling. For those that's listening, he's No. I do like the shoes. But again, it's the price? Well, the price kind of throw me out of the category to be getting them for sure. Okay. But at the same time. But you got some Travis Scott's in your collection. I think I got two pairs. You got a couple pairs? Three pairs? Yeah, you got some Travis Scott's. I got a couple. But I ain't got these. But no, what I was gonna say, you had to get them yourself. Yeah, yeah. But what I was gonna say is, like, again, I go after shoes and I do like stuff that's like in a decent range. If it gets too pricey, I'm just not gonna. I feel like 500 is kind of like your threshold. Yeah. You're like, all right, once it gets to 500, you're like. That's enough. Because I'm rocking them, you know, I'm beating them up. Yeah. I I never no, I don't sold one pair of shoes to you. Yeah. Wait, to me? I sold one pair of shoes to you. Or did I sell them for you? I sold them to you, and you sold them for more money. Those shoes I came home with those Jordans, he came. And it was a player edition. He came home with some Jordan 5 PEs. This is back in like 2009. He came home and he's like, Yeah, my homie got these shoes. I know you like the Jordans and stuff. And I look, and it's a Jordan P.E. I forgot what uh athlete it was for. It was a Jordan athlete. It had the PE number on the side and everything. Yeah, and it was a Jordan 5. And then you asked me, he said, how much you pay for those? I said, 70 bucks. He got them for $70. Then he goes, You owe $400? I was like, I need $400 right now. And mind you, this is like 2009. Yeah, which is like a lot. That was a lot for some shoes. And for me, I'm like, that's a win here. And then I sold them for like what $600 or $700. $700. $700. Yeah. But like $700. Technically, he still made more than I made. But we both claim it came up. It was a good deal. And I I don't even, I think I had them for like a little bit too, because it was like a size 15 or something like that. Yeah. It was like an awkward size. Yeah. But yeah. You were so you're like, you got these. Bro just pulled up to the crib with some BEs, and I'm like, what the f mind you, I'm in high school. This is like sophomore junior year. I'm like, what the hell? Okay. Anyway, back to the shoes. Yeah. So this one. I think this was one of those weird ones where people couldn't justify the value because it was that awkward colorway where it was like, why are you guys pricing it like this? But I could see that with the fragment collaboration, the rarity, the scarcity, all those things. And the boxing is different. Yeah. You know, they put more into it. But it was like also people were in love with the low top, but these were going for more money, and they're like, This is opposite, it shouldn't be that. But because it's a high top, it's worth more, and da da da. Like, and these held us pretty solid value over the years, to say the least. Like, sometimes you see them shoes, they come out and it's like $2,500, and then it's like $700. Right. Right. Like, so I feel like overall, still a solid shoe. For me, again, this isn't based off of value, but we are talking about those things because that doves drive the market, drives what people think, how they because a lot of people make their decisions based off of but the leather's good, they got the Velcro stuff in there, you know. Like you can see why the value is up. Yeah, you see, like they switched the tags that says fragment. This one's got the Travis Scott, the cactus shot. I mean you can see that, and like I said, they did a good job on the shoe. So, overall, very solid shoe. Interested where I'm gonna put this one on the list, though. Like when it comes to final ranking, yeah. I'm not sure. Next up, right here, you see the box. So they say, Hey, we're getting a high top, we're doing a low top. Now, compared to the other high top, low top with the brown pairs, they gave us the same box. They said, Let's switch it up, let's give them like different color and everything. So we got the switch up, same shroud, but this time flipped it, right? So instead of the blue and white, you got the white and blue, and then taking that off. You'll notice you got the same pink paper, classic, right? And then peeling that back, you got the shoe. Oh, yeah, you got the shoe. Man, I have to tell you, I did like the black toe of this, yeah, because it it gave it a whole different look from those. Uh-huh. And again, when you when you're rocking it, like I wear pants a lot, right? So you wear pants a lot, it's gonna look like that black toe morally, like this, you know, yeah, yeah. At the same time, but then when you sit down or something, everybody say, Oh, you was hiding something in there and see the other colors. It's a cool shoe, man. I I can't say nothing negative about it. It sounds like you're four for four right now. I can't say nothing negative about it. The most I ever spent on a Travis one is the fragment lows. I think I spent $1600 on those, which is kind of embarrassing, and honestly, it might be the most I've ever spent on a non-PE shoe. I'm just telling you a quick backstory, too. Okay, double retail plus the other pair. I got a sample and two other pairs with the low tops, ended up spending $300 on those, a little bit over retail at the time before they started shooting up crazy. I made a video about that a long time ago for people that don't believe it, right? And then those ones got a great deal, traded for my size. These ones, wifey hit for retail. I think it was uh this day, I was pretty sure it was a lot dunks, the off-white dunks, and these came out like the same day or around the two days or something like that. They came around the same time. She hit both for retail for me. I was hyped, hyped, like what cooking. I'm like, this is so fire. So I've this is the only pair that I've ever owned, but that's that for my backstory for it. Now, with this, first thing I heard was they look like bowling shoes, everybody was tripping. Now, classic, when the shoe is hard to get, you got a lot of people chirping in the comments saying, Oh, well, this, that, the other, it's so bad. Because right, because they already feel like they're not gonna get the shoe when it comes out, right? So now they find reasons to nitpick at the shoe and call it bad and all these other things. But realistically, this shoe in particular was kind of like the catalyst for even more hype and demand behind the brown pairs. This one, it was like felt like it was more available. Now people were on to that wave and that train and brought the fragment Jordan one, the first one, because those came out like 2016. It brought those up or 15 or whatever, so it started bringing that hype up even more, and then it drew to like everywhere you went, celebrities, whoever, everybody's rocking these. They needed to, or you had to have this, like everyone. Everybody wanted to be bowlers, huh? That summer, that summer, whole game on lock. Like, you had to have this shoe, you had to rock it, you had to turn it into your beater and make it like the pair that like you flexed things like things, like you know what I'm saying? So that was the one where it was like more people entered into the space, the shoe game was rising, the Jordan ones was hyping up even more, it was starting to not get to the peak yet, but getting close. And this was like that catalyst that opened the door also for people to be like low tops. I'm rocking with the low tops now because the high tops was popping and the low tops wasn't, and then this was like justifying the low top move, right? And then now it's like, oh, we need the low tops every summer, and then it started. So this was a big catalyst. I just I want to make sure that people understand that because I vividly remember during this time like all the stuff that was happening and being said and everything, and people saying this is bad, the best one and all that stuff. Narrative switch really quick. But that's because a lot of that comes from people just following what other people say, right? That's the hard part, you know, not what they do, and oh, he said this, oh, so I'm gonna say the same thing. You ain't even did no research. No, the best one, yeah, I've been getting this so much lately. This is hilarious. People in the comments tell me about my shoes, and I'm like, you don't even own the shoe, and you're telling me what's about it. Why is this? And I'm like, bro, I'm literally showing you and telling you in the video, prime exit right here in front of your face. You're telling me something else, and then they'd be like, Well, yeah, and then they're like, show me a Google search thing or something like that. And I'm like, Alright, bro, like, I'm not even about to. Yeah, and that's what I mean. People they following what somebody else said, and they don't know nothing. You're like, I'm here to be a pinch and don't count, but I'm also here to be a source of information for everybody and help relay these messages between the brand and all the other stuff to help people understand what's going on, the stories, the narratives, all the stuff that happened, debunk the or whatever, the facts, you know what I mean. Like, I'm trying to do all those things to help everybody out. You are, I ain't tootin your horn, but I will say you are the person for the most information when it comes down to whatever came out. You know, you dissect the shoe, you know, the history of the shoe. You know, we gotta talk about the history first. There's plenty of times you know, I told you and show you stuff, and I'm like, I don't even, I'm not gonna share it on the internet. We'll let somebody else have that clout or do that thing or whatever. Fine, like fine by me. Like, I'm not here for all that. Like, I'm gonna share what I want to show her and talk about what I want to talk about at the end of the day. All right, next shoe. We got a lot to cover. All right, okay, but yeah, and this list is gonna be banana. Big moment, big moment right here. Again, I told y'all, sit back, kick your popcorn up. I don't even like Travis Scott. Okay, next up, right here, the box switches up. Now they say we're gonna give you this glossy box. It kind of looked like the SB boxes, right? During that time, the tan with the you know what I'm saying, was on that same vibe, but you got the matte finish with the brown, and then this is the reverse mocha, but same branding, same thing, same vibe right here. Peeling that back, you got the shoe. Oh, yeah, you got the shoe. DJ, first of all, thank you so much for having me on your video, your interesting little Travis Scott look through. Well, you send me over some questions, I got some thoughts. First one, uh, what Travis Scott's do you wear the most? None. I don't wear them. If I had to pick one in the past, I wore these a few times, but just stopped wearing them. Um, and yeah, I just don't really wear Travis Scott's anymore. This shoe right here, I'm gonna say it came out alright. I was about to say, this is where I think things changed for you right here. Yeah, because this one I wasn't like, uh, it was alright, but it wasn't like, oh, I gotta have it or want it. You know, again, it's one of those colors I probably wouldn't wear much, but it's a cool shoe. This one was now, people couldn't afford those. They missed out on the first drops, they came late to the party. The high top was too expensive. This was the most affordable, attainable. Everything else is in the thousands, you can get these in the hundreds, five, six, seven hundred, whatever. So that's where the demand came. Oh, it's neutral. Now we said, Oh, I can wear it with everything, right? Now people justifying that because originally it was like, Oh, you can't wear brown with nothing, all this stuff, right? Now it's like, well, it's got enough white on it. I can mix it with this, we can wear this whatever. So then everybody started wearing it with all the outfits, and it became a thing. So boom, next summer shoe. This the hot one. This is the one that everybody wants. Now everybody going crazy. Same example, your big rich celebrities, billionaires, you're seeing them rocking them, all the athletes, all the rappers, all the stuff. This is the hot shoe. They got the game on lock, right? Like Yeezys is doing their thing, but they slowly about to start fizzling out. There's other stuff that's happening in the game. The ones is hot, new models is on the merge, but these was running the game. So a lot of these shoes kind of did like some did more than others. You'll see kind of a trickle off as we go. But this one, I think, again, the door just kept opening up, it got bigger, yeah. The hype got there, and then it started pushing the value of these up more. Obviously, the big sizes they were more expensive. I ended up getting these from the homies, so I got a good deal. I was cool. I missed out on the release, but I got a good deal after. So you don't get beat over the head often on the deal. And then everybody say, Look, you you yeah, build the network, and then you could do the same thing. It's not that complicated. We talked about this in the community too. If you want to be in, you could. Yo, DNA fam. I know you guys are into sneakers, so I'm gonna assume that you're into investing as well, which means you're probably also interested in leveling up your life. I don't like all the other ones is better than these to me. Yeah, the material's cool though. I couldn't justify the hype behind them, like I wasn't seeing it like everybody else was, and they're like, Oh, it's gonna grow on you. I'm like, still to this day, I look at the shoe, I'm like, they clean, they cool, but like these ain't doing it for me like that. Yeah, no matter what the price and the hype and all the other stuff, it's just one of them ones that I'm like, I don't dislike it enough to not want to have it, but at the same time, when I compare it to the others, it's not moving me as much as I think that's the thing too. It's we're comparing it to those, right? Right, and if we didn't have those, maybe this would be better, right? Because again, I understand not everybody's able to get all these shoes, and they're gonna say, you know, if they can have two or five or seven out of These 14 or whatever, that's still great, and that's still a good, you know, that's still a hype shoe, and all that. It's not a bad looking shoe. No, you know, they did a good job on it. But from a collector's perspective, like I've talked about plenty of times, right? When you're deciding on what you get for your collection, you have to go back and justify, like, okay, I got X amount of blue shoes, I got X amount of red shoes, I got X amount of this model, I have X amount of those, like I got the OG and the retro and this. Like, you have to compare all those things and say, Do I need to get this one or do I want to? Or you know what I'm saying? Am I trying to complete this set and everybody's gonna, oh, you don't need it, whatever. At the end of the day, you compare them to different elements of your collection as you grow your collection. Because at some point, you're like, I don't want to have every single one of these, or sometimes you're like, I want to complete the whole set. When I saw this whole thing emerging, I was like, I want the whole set, like this is gonna be dope. Like, now to the next one. This one, I was hyped about this one. You was hyped about this one. I'm digging the box. So the box, same concept with the shroud and everything, but this time you got the matte black with the glossy. And then on this side, they wrapped in the bandanas. Y'all forgot about this. Remember, these came with the black bandanas, you had the special laces, all these came with extra laces, dope insoles and stuff. And then you got the shoe. Oh, yeah, got the shoe. This one right here. Oh, I'm gonna let you go first because remember when we did the ranking, you were putting these, I think, at first place. Uh-huh. Like it's hard to change my mind on this shoe. Because of me and that all black everything. Again, you can wear it, beat it up. You know, Jordan 1s, they take punishment. Like, you can really rock them. I mean, you got 85s, you can still rock. Yep. You know what I mean? 30 years later, whatever. 40 years later. So, I don't know. With the bandanas, the all-black everything, with the white stitch, you can dress it up, dress it down. The materials is crazy. They go crazy. Anyway, I don't know. Okay, so backstory. These got introduced, polar opposites now, but a lot of people and the narrative in the price reflected negatively. As in, a lot of people's talking bad about the shoe. Too simple, too plain. It's losing its vibe. The trap Jordan ones are dying, Travis Scott's falling off. There's other new stuff. We prefer mesh runners and people prefer Soconis and new balances and ASICs now. Like the narrative is starting to roll into something else, right? New hypes and all that stuff. But these were now like a $400 shoe. So now you can get these for a good price. And when these came out, I missed on the drop. But I was able to get two pairs, one for just over retail, and another pair for like $350. So when I had got those for those two good prices, I was like immediately rocking. So you know, I got my beat up pair. They're literally these holes in the back of the shoe. Like, I wear those all the time. I throw them in my suitcase. Love those. And then I still got my Deadstock pair. So that's why I, you know, wear those like I don't care because I still got my BS pair. Now, with time, the narrative has changed. Now they want them. Those are the best ones. Oh man, they're too expensive now. I can't get them. 800, 900. Like the old day, I think they might be a thousand. I don't know what the price is. I gotta check. We'll do price comparisons at the end too. From the last shoe to this shoe, I felt like that was a recovery. Yeah. Coming from that to this. I was like, oh, that's it. I was like, they back. I was rocking with these two. And then remember the black and white laces, the puff lace, like, yeah, the fat laces. Um overall, and then he had the like on the back, they switched it up, got rid of it. Like, there was some dope switch-ups on these with the bandana add-ons and stuff. I think they're the bandana. Doing it with the bandana took it to another level, too. You know, y'all gonna have to think about that stuff instead of always just the paper because people appreciate that kind of thing, right? And the price ain't gonna be that much different for you to do it, especially with it being a Jordan 1 low because it's lower than the retail price on a normal Jordan 1 high. Yeah, and you're getting all these dope materials, add-ons, and everything that come with it, and it's still cheaper than that price. So, um, yeah, this one has always been a fan favorite for me. Yeah, definitely me too, in my opinion. Based on stock X data, the top three most popular Travis Scott Jordan ones are first up the Canary Low and then the original um Mocha and then the medium olive. And I'll say of those, I think the original Mocha is still the most exciting, still the best one. Reverse swoosh, pink accents. I just think that set off a whole wave of brown sneakers. By the way, I hope I got my angle right. I'm not sure I love this angle. Next up, right here, this is my wife's pair. So, backstory for this one. Uh, I was supposed to get a pair and then I didn't, and my boy didn't come through, and then the price was like stupid expensive because this is a women's pair, like the sizing, so you know it's expensive in the streets. Oh, yeah, and then like they started selling around like a thousand, I think it's like 1200 or something like that now. And I was talking to somebody doing a trade or whatever, and then I could have sworn I did a deal, but then I didn't because I was looking for the shoes, and I'm like, maybe I didn't do that. Maybe I swear I did it, and then I'm like, maybe I did it. I'm like, let me just go grab her pair, we make this video, we'll make stuff happen. So they still in the family. Once you find them later, I'm like, I've been looking for stuff. It's just we got a there's a lot going on. We got some moves being made right now in life, and you guys will find out soon. Because trust me, you guys are gonna love it, you're gonna learn a lot from that. This one I actually liked. Right. I mean, again, I'm with the darker colors, y'all know that. And it's a clean looking shoe. The darker colors, materials is cool. I left it alone. I was like, cool, this is easier to wear. Yeah, it's not so much of the brown, it's easy to go. So, oh, also, backstory. This pair, so I I didn't get mine when they came out, but I was lucky enough to get a pair for my wife and then for my mom. Remember, I got her a pair too, and then I got her a pair when we was out in LA. We went to SneakerCon, they flew back home, and you remember that was the pair, one of the pairs. I forgot about that. So when they flew back home, they flew back a separate day because we came back later, but they got to the airport early, left their bags. I this why I don't go to the airport super early. I like my bags to go straight through and get to the plane. So they got there early, chilling at the airport. Somebody went through their suitcases, he had shoes in there too. Um, because I think I don't know if I got you stuff or you brought stuff or whatever. Either way, everybody got some shoes, yeah. And your shoes didn't get touched, but they stole all my mom's shoes, and she had these in there. I had just got her these and something else. Oh, the uh uh Union LA trunks, and then she had the uh the silver fours that was three pairs, yeah. The women's silver fours that so I had just got her some dope kicks, these were the hot shoes, like I'm like, this some bullshit. So that was the backstory for the shoe. But when we was unpacking though, yeah, you're talking about realizing your stuff is missing when you're unpacking, it's trash. Oh my god, yeah, she was so mad, yeah. She called everybody up anyway, like so. This one, um, this is that wave of now. I feel like because it was the women's drop, it did open the door even more for the women to get in and like start flexing that Travis Sky heat. And now we saw that that net get casted even farther, yep, right? So it was like kind of uh-uh, and then it was like boom, we might be back on fire right here. And then obviously, men's sizes they don't make as many, so in that size, they're expensive. So again, I still need a pair. Somebody trying to work a deal. Let me know. I need a size 13 in men's 14 and a half, maybe a 14. I'll take, depending, because it's a 12 and a half, but I would prefer. I got the canaries in a 14, so I need though that's a 12 and a half, but either way, next up, right here, this one is the golf Travis got one though, and we got the shoe. Oh, we got the shoe. Okay, extra laces. This was made for golfing. Now, you know, this is actually the time of like golf emerging on content. You see them on the internet more, like everybody's starting to get in it during the summertime. You're just seeing people golfing more often, right? So these came out. I was trying to get these, they was taxing in my size, right? Like, this one bull. I wasn't able to get them, and then they came across my way, they're like worn once or something like that, and then I was like, What's up? It's work or trade. Got them for a good price, was in and out, now we got the shoe. Yeah, so that's where I'm at with them. What you think? I think it's simple enough. It's not one that I go crazy about, but if you had these out and you out golfing, you're talking about you're gonna be the man, you're gonna be the man. For sure. Like people that see and know things about shoes would be like crazy. So, on that aspect, it'd be great to have them when you're out golfing, right? Because it's not a day-to-day shoe you're gonna wear. I think the best part, but I'll be mad if it got grass stains on it. Right. You gotta golf at like a nice course. So I don't get to do that and with good weather, you know what I'm saying? That's your schedule. Yeah, that's my schedule. But I go on some courses. We've been on some PGA courses, we'll be on some nice courses. Yeah, the thing with this though was this now opened the door for people rocking golf shoes with the golf bottoms. They're like, it don't got the spikes on there. Yeah, because you can't tell that it's a golf shoe, it's extra traction. So people just started rocking these, and then Jordan brand started dropping a bunch of Jordan 1 low golfs and like OG colorways and stuff during this time. And this was kind of also like one of those under the radar. People are like, it's got a golf bottom. I don't want that, you know. And then other people are like, Oh, that's dope, but like these, right? It was just kind of one of those random ones, and then also similar to those, right? So the a reverse mocha, somewhat similar, yeah, right. Yeah, so people are like, already got those or already want those. I prefer those instead because they got an actual bottom on them, and then so this kind of like was one of those like wayside, but also like somewhat desired, depending on who you are, type ones. The patch, I don't like the patch on the front. I see it says golf and everything, but it just looks kind of weird, yeah. But it's cool, still a solid shoe. Okay, so what Travis Scott do I wear the most? I think this one speaks for itself. That would be these bad boys right here. These things have been with me almost all over the world, and they go with just about everything that I wear. Next up, right here, same box. You see the pattern what the now the box is back on track. We're doing all this stuff, right? And then peeling that off pink paper, same thing there, right? And then we got the shoe. Oh, we got this shoe. Okay, this one. Tell me what you think first because so I remember I think where was it? Was we in uh New York or something? Maybe, and and those people had their shoes on, it was all them employees. Where was we at? Wasn't that the shoe? You're talking about the museum, yeah. No, that was the off-white, uh that was those green Air Force Ones. Oh, okay, okay, okay. And I was trying to buy them off the beach. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That was the green. That's what I was thinking about. That was before they had came out. Yeah, so this shoe is it wasn't that crazy enough for me on the colors and everything else like that. It's kind of wild. And then I'm like, this is pink, not white. What part is pink? Ain't this pink? Nah, it's like a blue tint. See, I'm colorblind. This looked pink to me. So I'm like, what? Then me colorblind, it looked pink right here to me. And I'm like, why would you wear pink with that? Yeah, no, it's like a grayish blue tint with a blue swoosh and a yellow suede. Yeah, I was like, And a girl. Hell no, they threw that color off. So, okay, the part I liked about this was this was like based around his high school. So they like tied that in, they went and gave out pairs at the high school. They did dope stuff around the drop, and I thought it was cool for him to like do something with the hometown and bring him stuff back with that. Uh, this was a women's release, but did not have the same energy as the other women's the olive pair with like pricing, demand, all stuff. Because a lot of people was like, I don't want to wear this yellow shoe, I can't justify that, whatever. So, this caused now the hype train to just be like like I give you 300 bucks, 250. Like, yeah, people like uh I'll go over retail a little bit. So now you're gonna look at shoes seven, eight, hundred, twelve thousand, twelve hundred, no, and then this thing's like 300, 350, yeah, 1200, 225. I think they went overboard with this shoe. So these I didn't hit when they had come out. Um, my boy let me use his pair to review, and then right after I came across this pair, and I got them for like two twenty or something like that. I don't remember what I got them for. It was like 200 something, like yeah, so I was like, that's cool, like right. I mean worth to have in the collection compared to like what I'm paying on all the my total all in, and that's like that's nothing compared to you know what I'm saying, like I'm cool with that. So I ended up getting them. I personally was not mad at this one. I liked the switch up and the uniqueness of these compared to the other ones. I didn't say it was the best one or anything like that, but I thought they were clean. Yeah. It's not a bad looking shoe. I'm sucking for Gumball 2 though. It's not, yeah, that's cool. So this one is kind of one of those quick ones. I don't think this one moved the game and kind of actually slowed things down. And it changed the trajectory, other stuff started becoming hot, and it was like, uh, I don't know what we're doing here, what's going on? And that's charted some of our conversations of like they're running out of ideas, yep. They doing trying to do too much or trying to re uh re uh make the wheel. Right. It's like, no, you was cool over there, and now you just went all out like this, and like and that's what this was now. The conversation is starting to become like you guys did the golf, you did this. It's like we're done with the ones, we don't need any more. Like, people started to say that they're like, give us something else, right? Like that started to be what was coming from that. So after that, we then got these again, same branding, box, all the stuff, paper hard, they say. So in that back, you got the shoe. Oh, yeah, you got the shoe. The Travis got one that I wear the most is probably these guys right here. I took these guys all around the world, all over Europe, stomped them up, beat them up. Definitely need to get another pair, and they revived themselves when they did this. Okay, okay, they did, and I was like, okay, cool. That's similar to those, you know, when a women release, it's similar to that to me. And so that was a cool shoe. I'm like, cool, it's a good bounce bag for the men's. They can do this for the most part. People said the same thing, also because it was obtainable, it was an affordable price range, and it was like similar to the other ones. They couldn't get the other one because it's a thousand dollars. So they're like, cool, I can get these for four, six hundred, whatever, right? Let me say this what but the quality of this shoe was less, it's not like the leather, the leather on this shoe, yeah, is not as good as some of those shoes, yeah. Like straight up. If y'all know the shoe, yeah, the leather on this shoe is not as nice as those, and it's interesting too, because like the shape of the fragment from one low and how it looked compared to these and everything, like the shape started to change a little bit, and yeah, it felt like just not as nice as it started, yeah. But you can do that when you're the brand, you can do it, but unfortunately. How much you gonna kill the brand before you bring it back? Like sometimes they just get what they got out of it, and then they're on to the next thing, but and that's why I think we might be coming to the end of the road. You did say something interesting, these were more obtainable, so they probably did that. So they can't have to do such a high quality, and then more people can wear them. It makes sense. I honestly think that they should make more Travis ones. I know a lot of people think that they're like overplayed, but in my opinion, I think they're like some of the best looking Jordan 1 Lowe's. I think that they should keep them limited. I don't think it should be a shoe where they have like 500,000 pairs, but I definitely think they should keep making them, and I like these little like like the tan, more subtle colorways versus like the bright, loud colorways. I think they're awesome. I've always said this there has to be levels to the game in any game, right? Real estate, stocks, cars, stamps, right, Pokemon cards, whatever you name it, digital, physical. There's always levels to the game. You have to have those A, S tier, whatever items, right? And if you have associated that with that, that's what you get with that, right? You get the S-class, Mercedes, get the C class, right? There's different stuff to come with it. Yes, the same brand, it's the same whatever, but like it's two different cars. One of them you're getting inside of a spaceship, the other one you're getting, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, like so I think with this, and amongst all the other releases out there, it makes sense to just keep everything as high as you can up there with that class. But it made people feel like they can ball on a budget. I get that. So finally I got some. But that's my other thing. They gave us the Jordan 1s. Remember, we got the olive ones that came out that look like Travis Scott's, but they're not. They don't got the backward swoosh, they don't got the branding. But those are fire. People slept on those, by the way. Similar to this stuff, right? Right. And that's where I say, okay, that's where you go ball on the budget. Like, we'll give you the takedown or whatever you want to call it, which it's not really a takedown, but we'll give you the other one. The same. But it's not a Travis Scott, you know what I'm saying? Like, it's just a drop, and it's like cool. So when you have like these other models, like with Nike basketball and stuff, they have the premium model, the one that was the original one, and then they make a takedown version, right? And then they sell it to the mask, and it's a different model, yeah. You get what I'm saying? Yeah, so I think that's where it there should be that clear line, but overall, there's still rarity and scarcity behind these, there's still hype and demand, it just wasn't what it was. This is where again the sentiment is just starting to change in the game with these. It's fair enough. Everything takes its course, yeah. You know, there's ebbs and flows, and we're talking about from 2018 to now, right? Right, like how I mean, it's hard. Runs, people don't understand that in life. There's a lot of runs that you have, and you don't some runs are two years, some are 10, some are 20, but they're not always popping, you're not popping for 10 years like that. Like, right, it don't just happen for everything. Okay, LeBron James. Now, LeBron, that's a whole nother story. Okay, this one, dark mocha, same box, same paper, peeling that back. You got the shoe. Oh, yeah, you got the shoe. Now, this one, talk to me about it because I'm gonna tell you what I think about these. So, again, dark colorway, it's like that doo-doo brown, you know, with the black. This is what I see in my eyes, okay. Y'all know I'm a little bit of colorblind. I think they did really good on this. The materials they bounced back because that's what I was complaining about on the other one. You know, I think they did a good job on this shoe for me. What do you think? I missed out on the drop. I got them for a good deal after. I was not mad at the price that I got them for, got them for a solid price. So I was happy about that. Now, when I was when I first saw these, I thought black phantoms, but in brown. I thought OG first low top, but just like with a black phantom came together and just gave us the whole brown version, and I was like, I like how they didn't do the contrast and I like how they just made it just like that dark chocolate, just uh like I was rocking with these. So for me, this was a really, really dope drop. I was not understanding why people was hating on them again. You heard we're done with this, we've seen enough, like it's too simple. I'm not wearing an all-brown shoe, it looked like doo-doo brown, da da da, like yeah, right, can't get it off, like all this stuff. So that was the narrative behind it. In my opinion, I love to drop. Next up, right here, we're back to that fragment vibe. Now you see this time they switched it up. You got similar shroud, but then the box a little bit different instead of that, it's like blue and white or white and blue. You get just all white, but the paper, still the same. But you notice the fragment design, the different hits on the changed that, yeah. So that's the same thing as the other ones, it's kind of similar to that, and then peeling that back, you got the shoe. Oh, yeah. Okay, talk to me about this one. Well, very simple, very clean. Me and the blues get along, you know. I'm tough on the white, you know, the all-white shoe, y'all know that. But I think this right, especially with the black laces, like this, is cool. This is gonna be hard because I said this in the beginning, you kind of handed on it, that I don't really mess with the Travis Scott's like that. But when you start like getting more and more in your hand, and you feel it, you see it close up, you're like, I kind of mess with these. Right, so I see why more now of the hype, and I see why, of course, you got them all, but it just it just makes more sense now to me. Because before I was then you hear like all the stuff, backstories and all that stuff, and it kind of just ties it all together. Yeah, again, this is gonna be a trip down memory lane for some people, and then it's also gonna be a you know, history, nostalgia, and uh educational moments for people to understand like what was going on during these times, and I don't have time to. Do a full in-depth breakdown of every single thing, so yes, I missed stuff. Great, fill it in the comment section. We understand that. But I try to you know cover the basis so we get an understanding where things is at. So this one we got notice about this, people were hyped, but then at the same time, they're like, they're not as good as the other ones, these is trash, I don't know. Like, you got them tied up, you hate no because you can't get them, yeah. Yeah, so then you got that group of people and all that stuff, and then people are like trying to figure out what all this is and everything. The one thing about this shoe was as soon as I got these in hand, I was like, bro, these are so nice. The quality of this shoe is dope, crazy. Like, they stepped it up from when we saw them out the last other couple shoes back there. No, the quality of the tumor leather on this is nice, like everything is nice. Like, they went all in on these, they did a hell of a job on these shoes. So I did them all, I did my whole review, did all that stuff on it. They softer was able to get these for retail too. Hyped, that was clutch. Uh anything you get close to retail, a little bit over, yeah, it's a win. Yeah, especially in my size, because these were like $1,200 or a thousand or some shit. I don't know what they were, but I know they're not cheap. What is the most you've spent on a Travis one? Now, can we not do this question? All right, fine. This one's embarrassing though. And that's the cell pair, yeah, in your hands. See, I used to wear a lot of pink back in the day. I still be rocking pink, you know, real man wear a pink pink. I feel like the hot pink really be hitting, but yeah. I like both. Yeah. Okay, so you've decided between those two which one you like more. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, from my opinion, I like this one more too. Yeah, I like the I like the tropical pink more. It's like a fully bought-in colorway towards like the pink and everything, and like really like leaning into it. And it seemed like they were scared on this shoe. It was like to finish, it was almost there, but it was like, and it's kind of interesting too, right? Because usually, like through all those other releases, you're getting like one, and now you got both of these, right? Like it's like a double, and that is what makes me think. You see, on this one, look, they switched, they took Nike air, they took the air off and they put the heart on there, yeah. But on the right foot, it just says Nike air, then the left foot it has on the tongue. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So the heart, and then it's got the hearts on the inside on the on the right foot. You see the heart with the bow and everything, so it's like got that Valentine's vibe, and then I was like, or or is this the love letter to say thank you for we're done after this. You know what I'm saying? Hey, quoting the day. Is this the love letter? We're gonna finish with a bang. We're giving you two pairs. Well, thank you, much love. You know what I'm saying? We throw our heart on there, we put our heart and soul into it. The quality is still cool. They didn't drop the quality on it. Yeah, those are actually solid. Like, this is decent quality on the actual. And that's what I'm saying. They upgraded, and then see this, it's not even like that leather, it's like you see how you feel it, it's like got that suede soft, buttery feel, kind of like the off-white fours and the materials on these. They upgraded this, and then also notice. I'm gonna do a full breakdown comparison video, but notice the outsides have the the like the accent color swoosh or whatever, and then usually the inside is like the other color. Look at this one. You see how it's pink on the outside, right? Sail on the inside, and that red on the outside, red on the inside, yeah. And even like if you feel this leather, like feel how soft this leather is on the swoosh. Yeah, try to I don't know if yeah, it's nice, like these. They did a good job on these.
