This is the Sustainable Success Series. Hi, visit Braze and old visionary people. Welcome to another episode of the sustainable success series. Where we explore the stories, strategies, and secrets to living life fully and achieving sustainable success. I'm your host, Nikki Morin. If you're new here, this is a place where we talk about breaking free of invisible chains and limitations. Getting back to being too busy, living and finding sustainable health, happiness, and success in the process. But today's something special today. I'm thrilled to officially launch my new book. Girl get out of the freaking car. Uh, nine step roadmap to simple self-worth and possibility. And I want to introduce you to something that's been brewing behind the scenes, something big, bold, and beautiful. The million seen movement. This episode is for you. If you've ever felt stuck, held back or invisible. It's time to talk about what this book is all about and why this mission is going to change lives. Starting with yours. So let's dive in. So the title may have caught you off guard. A little girl, get out of the freaking car. What does that even mean? Well, let me take you back to the metaphor that inspired this book. I mentioned pulling up at the red carpet of your life. You're dressed up. You've got places to go. You've got dreams to achieve a life to celebrate, but you're too scared to get out of that car. You start there watching everyone else live their lives, walk their paths while you sit in neutral, paralyzed by fear. Such as who am I to do this? What will people say or think we're like get judged. Then the self-doubts kick in. Am I good enough? Do I even know what I'm doing? Will anyone even want to hear it? Oh, those invisible barriers we often don't realize are holding us back. For me, I felt like for years I had all these dreams and goals and things I wanted to do. But there's always something keeping me in that comfort zone or also known as keeping me in that car. And when you're in that comfort zone. It stops you from having a go or from gross. One of those other barriers was energy, energy, fatigue, stress, and trauma. All those things were ruling my life. This book is about breaking free of those fears and limitations. It's for all the visionary people out there who've been too scared or too overwhelmed to step out of the shadows. Who have been trapped vine, visible conditions, traumas and self-doubt or anxiety keeps them stuck. It's a roadmap to simple self-worth possibility and living life on your terms. I wrote girl, get out of the freaking car as both a personal story and a guide. It's a story of my own struggles and triumphs. How I battled invisible conditions, adversity, and the challenges of womanhood and how I finally found the courage to step out of that car and into the celebration of life. To be able to step into living life and doing some of the things that I constantly was thinking of, but never actually turned it into a reality. I think I got to the point where I was sick of ideas or dreams been in my head. And not doing anything about them. There was a point where I decided to do some inner work and release some of the trauma that I'd been carrying around. Which was a big emotional release that I needed. But more than that, this book is for your story is for all the zebra women out there, the neurodiverse women, the entrepreneurs. The women juggling a hundred roles. Mothers daughters partners. Dreamers is for anyone who's ever felt invisible and seen or unheard. This book is my way of reaching out to you to tell you that it is possible to move. From invisible. To invincible. And part of that is linked to the global movement that I've just started. To help others living with invisible conditions too, which we'll talk about in just a moment. First, I'd like to read a little section of my new book to you. Now I don't have an audio book yet. So if you're listening to this. It's very special. So this is part of the introduction. Opening the door to possibility. Chances are that you picked up this book because you are curious. Curious about what life would be like if self doubt, shame and low self worth when no longer a problem for you. Could you then express your ideas or take action towards bringing your visions to life. How would life be different if you could break free from the grip of past trauma or life stressors that have eroded yourself worse? Or hindered your ability to pursue your dreams. What if yourself worse, we're rebuilt. You might overcome challenges posed by your past. And you might feel empowered to create a fulfilling life and achieve your aspirations. What, if you could conquer the constant cycle of self comparison. So you would be free of the feelings of inadequacy, self doubt, and low self worth. What would life look like? If you could overcome paralyzing anxiety? And that prevents you from pursuing new experiences or personal growth. You may be able to break free from the constraints of fear and anxiety. And open up opportunities for adventure, growth and fulfillment. Perhaps you struggle with perfectionism. Or you're a high achiever who sets incredibly high standards for yourself and fears failure. Letting go of this ideal could propel you forward without a crippling fear of failure. And make you able to take risks. I explore new avenues and achieve a more balanced life. Via closes the door to possibility it could be stopping you from stepping into the spotlight and living your life's mission. All these are examples of where this book fits in with my mission. With multiple degrees in psychology, including a master's in clinical psychology. Plus qualifications in business and hairdressing and training in yoga and meditation. I understand the self-worth struggles. I've seen more times than not that self-worth is the big key player that holds people back and prevents them from having full and happy lives. And as I've been one of those people, myself, As a being dreaming visionary woman, I have had countless great ideas for many different ventures. But low self worth. Fear past trauma or chronic health issues and stress and anxiety. Just keep me playing small and safe. Or as I say, they kept me being an invisible zebra. So that's just a little part out of the first chapter. If you're wanting to read more, jump on, grab a copy. The link to be able to buy a copy is in the show notes. So within each of the chapters of the book is a different stop on the roadmap to self-worth and opening up to possibilities in life. This includes the love and care for your body, which is your vessel in life. Your mindset. Trauma and stress. Self doubt, anxiety, perfectionism, comparing yourself to others. Moving towards empowerment and a ticket forward to stepping out of that car into an aligned life. These are some of the other things that the chapters include. There's personal reflections within each one. Experiential strategies and journal questions. So you can work through each chapter and relate that to yourself so you can work and grow through each chapter. Now the million seen movement that I mentioned a little bit about earlier. So this is a global movement that I've recently started. It's very, very new. This mission was born from the heart of the book. And also my second book, which I'm currently writing in from my own lived experiences. As opposed to living with invisible conditions and the mother of children with invisible conditions. I get it. I've been in the dark trenches feeling isolated, lonely, like there was nobody out there who gets it. Or that I can go to for help. It is a hard slog. There are days where you just want to curl up in fetal position and just cry. When you see your children's suffering with pain. Feeling sick all the time. Um, dizziness, they heart racing. And seeing them isolated, it breaks your heart. And the days when you're in the depths of fatigue or your nervous system becomes hypersensitized. It can be super hard to cope. And within my clinical work. And after years of working with others, living with complex body-mind conditions. And hearing the countless stories of people feeling overlooked, unseen, undervalued, unheard. I knew it was time to do something more. I refer to these complex persistent conditions as body mind conditions. It's never just in your head. Don't let anybody tell you that. It is a complex interaction between the body and the mind. And there's neuro-biological associations. How I like to work is peeling back the layers of the onion and working from healing from the inside out, none of this, putting a bandaid over it, approach. The million seen movement is exactly what it sounds like. I'm aiming to reach 1 million people with invisible conditions and limitations. Help them feel seen, heard and understood. It's a movement that aims to shift the way we think about invisible health conditions, including neurodivergence mental health, physical health conditions. Trauma and so much more. And here's how we're doing it. So with the million seen movement, We're creating a space for people to share their stories and start healing. It's about creating visibility for those who have been invisible for too long. And it's not just about raising awareness. It's about driving change, real lasting transformative change. My vision is to inspire a global movement for a world where invisible conditions are understood, accepted and met with sustainable solutions. Empowering people to live with energy purpose in fulfillment. We'll we'll reach people through social media campaigns, online programs, workshops through this podcast, my books in the mil million seen movement community. We're shining the light on these stories. Raising awareness. And increasing knowledge. You'll hear from people who have broken free from the chains of their invisible conditions. Just like I did. Plus you're getting some useful tools and support to make your own transformation and get back. Been too busy, living. And I want to invite you to be part of this. The million seen mission. It does not have to be a huge, big win because. The smallest winds are often the greatest when you're living with an invisible condition. Whether it's just getting outside the house, going for a walk, feeling the sunshine on your skin. Or getting out of bed today. That's it's all in achievement. We're also launching workshops, online programs and an exclusive zebra force healers circle where we can get together, provide each other, the support and the connection.
