Curtis Hendricks & Dan Garren work with Idaho Department of Fish and Game in region 5 as habitat management and regional supervision. We toured and spoke about the Blackfoot River Wildlife Management Area and Soda Hills Mule Deer Migration Area. This was a small glimpse into the incredibly complex management of large land areas, ecosystem management, migration corridor management, and everything around it that goes into keeping populations, summer, winter, spring, and fall habitats alive and well. The school systems in the area are also quite diverse. Boise school district and West Ada School District, though right next to each other, are quite different. Ada County is also home to our state capital and many of our elected officials.
