This Magic Life Podcast
This Magic Life is the companion podcast to Bonnie Lippincott’s book This Magic Life (Coming Q2 2026). This is a space for exploring the unseen forces shaping our lives: intuition, creativity, motherhood, work, and the invisible thread that connects every living being.
Originally, I imagined this next chapter as Mid-Level Manager Mom (following Entry Level Mom), with an eventual CEO-Level Mom. But after stepping away from corporate America, the idea of “leveling up” in motherhood no longer fit. This podcast reflects that shift — from titles and ladders to alignment, presence, and living with intention.
Through solo reflections and intimate conversations, This Magic Life invites listeners to reframe success, trust themselves, and recognize the quiet magic woven into everyday life.

Entry Level Mom Episode 8: Asking for Help, It Takes a Village with Amanda Kirby
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
In this episode, my childhood friend Amanda and I discuss the topic of motherhood as it relates to asking for help. We discuss why we think it's hard to ask for help, and how it takes a village to raise children.
Amanda gives great motherhood advice and share about her experience asking for help during her C-section recovery. We also discuss the nuances of sharing experience versus telling someone 'what they should do' in a situation. We also discuss the need for effective communication and the value of supportive friends. The conversation concludes with advice for our younger selves and reflections on the changing priorities and lessons learned from motherhood.

- A supportive network of friends, family, and partners is crucial in navigating the journey of motherhood.
