We hope you expand your heart and mind. And. Create the shift with us. So unplugged from the matrix and let's dive into this. back, friends. It's Meg here. And Court. We are so excited to thrive in the year 2025. So, let's thrive, Court. Let's do it, Meg. Yes, thriving is a whole vibe. Full vibe. Did you Oh, this is kind of great. Did you pick a word for 25? 2025? Thrive. And vibe. Vibe's always my word, but I think thrive. I just really want to thrive this year. So Yeah, like, have you Thrive and thrive. All the things that rhyme with five. That's funny, because when you drive, you do thrive. Um, that's where you do your affirmations. your gratitude. Yeah. Yeah. It's all aligning, I guess. Yeah. Um, well, my word is leadership and you probably saw one of my social media posts. Yes. And I believe we had a conversation and I think leadership, the word, which is naturally coming up and then you had mentioned that, like, that's your word. Yes. Like, yes. How amazing. Yes. Yes, on so many levels. Cause, um, so like, the work that we do in network marketing, like when I first had looked into what it was all about, I kept seeing and hearing the word leader, and I was like, okay, well that's not me, so I can't do this. Like, I totally wrote myself off. Totally did not connect to that word. But I think my higher self really wanted me to. I think my higher self really wanted me to like think about that being possible and that's also the, the language that I kept hearing from all of these leaders of what was possible and where they started. And I related to so much of what they said and they painted the picture and the vision of, of who I could be, who I wanted to be, but didn't believe that I could. And then you and I, like, obviously when you came into being a client with me, like, I felt like a really, you know, positive influence, which is what I've learned is the definition of leadership in a lot of ways is being a positive influence and not an influencer. Like, I feel like the whole influencer. Oh, it's oversaturated. And it's like, what is their motive? Like, what is the really, what really are they looking to do for people? I don't think it's for people. I think it's for themselves. I agree. And I think that's where it's different from what we do. It is for the people. Mm hmm. And it's, but we had to lead ourselves. And that, that, like, in the community, the club that you and I are in, Global Information Network, um, Kevin Trudeau really talked about leading yourself first. And that was like, oh, that like clicks for me. Because then I'm like, oh, I led myself out of survival mode. And then showed people it's possible because so many people that you and I come across, whether we think that we can help them with the products or with the business, like survival mode is, is running high. Out there. And again, I think that's, you know, a much bigger picture as to the, the evil leadership that's happening in the culture and trying to drive people to believe that they can't do anything. They're stuck. Like the stuck mentality that I had, that you had. And God put the right people in front of us to show us that we didn't have to stay there. That is, that is the beauty of what we do. The relationship and the leadership building of people. Yeah, I never really looked at myself as a leader. It was a hard transition for me at the bar. Cause I ended up becoming a leader to the people that I used to be on the same level with. So that was a hard transition. Transition, you know, but like, like you mentioned when Kevin Trudeau said, like everybody here is a leader, we lead ourselves through life. Some people lead themselves better than others, but I'm at a stage in my life where I'm leading myself way better than I used to. And so now it's like, I'm like, okay, if I'm able to lead myself. Through all the shit that I've been through and get myself to this point, like I'm able to lead other people and help them get through the rubble and rediscover themselves. So it's really realizing that, yes, we are all born leaders. It's just what kind of leader do you want to be? Yeah. You know, and it's something that you can evolve and develop to like anything and never ending. Right. There's never ending layers and rungs on the leadership ladder. I think I put in our group text today. Um, yeah, what you said reminded me of the, the part where we're all leaders, but I, I just don't think that most of us, unless it's like we grew up in a home where that kind of language is like being spoken of all the time, I just don't think that's a quality that most people think that they have naturally, and that if they don't have it, then they don't have it. I, that's where I was, and I feel like a lot of people that I used to spend a lot of time with, we all thought that way, and no wonder, because we're all We are the average of who we hang around. But also what you said reminded me of, you know, when we heard um, Ed Milat talk to our company And he just I mean, I think he's known for this. I don't know if this was his words, but we're all pre qualified To help the people we used to be. Yes. And it's like, and then, and then like, I, I sent a message to one of the cool ladies in my Bible study and she wrote me back with something it's, it's scripture from Corinthians two. Um, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our afflictions, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves, we ourselves are comforted by God. A lot of, a lot of kind of back and forth there, but it's like, we're all meant to, we're all meant to be there for each other. Yeah. Especially help the people we used to be, like you had mentioned, because it's something about, especially being on the receiving end of it, it being helped by somebody that used to be where you are and that has surpassed that and where you want it to be. And that's where we're at in our leadership is we look up to and get mentored by people who used to be where we are and where we want to be, you know? So like, there's just different layers and levels and it's just something that everybody can consume and...give and receive in leadership. Yeah, it's a powerful concept that I think, um, is, it's the foundation of why so many, uh, organizations, relationships fail because people aren't stepping into the power of their own leadership either. Or they have toxic leadership skills. Yes. I, with the bar business, I have really looked at the way other people are leaders in their establishments. And I have employees that have worked at other bars. So I know how other bars run and how they operate. And so I like to, okay, I don't like how that person is a leader. And so I take notes on what not to do. And so really, if you start looking at things that. You know people that you don't like it really kind of makes it easier for the things that you do like And how you do want to lead and what kind of person you want to be? Okay, so that's reminding me. So in our company like there's different leaders. So our leader Uh holds a book club and the current book is um by john c maxwell. It's called the 21 irrefutable laws of leadership and you get to taste take this like assessment of Like all the 21 laws because obviously there's a lot of them But you get to see like where you're strong in your leadership and where you need to work Yeah, and it was very revealing to me And it also was really helpful for me to reflect on like where I started and where I am now because i'm just imagining If I took that test, you know six years ago when I first started. Oh god, my numbers would be showing me that i'm I have zero leadership because of how much fear based, um, not good enough stories that I was telling myself. And then, um, and now I'm like, oh, wow, my, my numbers are actually pretty, like, above average. And I'm like, okay, like, that reflects on, like, how I feel right now, because I still feel not enough. Many times and that's where like our our mentor She talks about like how she didn't have social media when she was like Growing her her influence in her leadership and helping people it's like man, the The power of social media. It's awesome like i'm so grateful because so many people are waking up to What the evil powers are out there and that we have the ability to lead ourselves away from the You know, message that they're trying to get us to believe when it comes to food, and our self belief, and tech, like, all these things, like, another amazing thing that I love about our business is it is person to person, human to human. Eventually, so much more artificial intelligence is going to be utilized by all these different Brands and companies, I mean, as it is helpful, but also it's really deteriorating the connection for each other. And so, I think people's ability to lead themselves and each other in the right direction is going to shift in so many ways over the next 10 years, 10, 20 years. Oh yeah, big time. Fast. Mm hmm. Because most people, I mean, it is really convenient. I have been using AI more often lately to save time on certain things. Um, it's, it's great, but I don't, I know that If I become dependent on it, where a lot of people are, my critical thinking skills will literally fall away. Yeah, you'll stop being able to think for yourself. Yeah. You'll be relying on AI. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, and AI is a lot like social media. Like social media can be detrimental. To people's lives. You get addicted to it. You get like just obsessed or you it can be something positive. Like what we use it for other things in life, you know, connection. Yeah, it's really what it's supposed to be not to get on and argue and my belief is right. Yours is wrong. And yeah, I feel like AI is becoming to a place where. It could be very scary, but it's all how you want to utilize it, too. Totally. And again, that comes back to intention of leadership. Like, it's, it's, it's a foundational skill that anyone can develop, and in many ways I feel that it's our responsibility to develop for ourselves and for our families, because Families, I've learned, and this is court, like the whole idea of family, I'm sure I've talked about it on other episodes, but the definition and beliefs that I had around family were so disconnected and dysfunctional. And now that I get to step into the leadership in my family unit, like you and I have been talking about a lot Meg, like we get to show people no matter how You know, modern day blended families are, like, they can be awesomely powerful. And the hard, the challenges, the conversations, the arguments, the whatever, are all worth when you have the intention of really coming back to the message that we always talk about, love. Love and compassion and, and growth. Because families are being ripped apart. Oh, big time. And that's something within my family dynamic with Mason that I will never, like that has been my main goal is I never wanted to enter into this family that was already kind of separated, you know, but not like in a toxic way, just relationships. Yeah. You know what I mean? But yeah, I never wanted to be the person that entered into the family dynamic. And Like take away any family time or whatever. If anything, I really feel that I make the power of bringing everybody together and I'm the type of person that I never want to leave anybody out. Like Mason has a birthday party. Everybody's invited. Like, I don't care if I don't really speak to you. It's not about me. It's about Mason growing up with more love because my family dynamic was a blended family, but there was no intention. There was no love. It was fucking weird and toxic. And I didn't want to, yeah, I didn't want to recreate that, you know, so that's, I wanted to stop that. And that's where leadership, that's where I'm leading Mason to show like, listen, you're growing up in a generation where blended families and mixed families and all the different types of families are normal. You know, it wasn't really like that. We were kind of the first start of it totally happening. And I just wanted to show them like, look, the more love, the better, like doesn't matter if. I'm not your biological mother. It doesn't matter if this person's not like whatever. Everybody's just here to love you. That's what it is at the end of the day. Just fucking love. It is. Yeah. Yeah. And leadership, um, you know, is, is it gives people the power to, to lead with love or lead with bad intentions. So It's, it's important to use your, use your judgment and surround yourself with people that are in, are in the mindset of growth and not arrogance and power. You know, I'm, I'm all about empowerment and empower, but like not for myself for connection. That's what I'm, that's what I feel like we're really working towards. With everything that we do like everything it's crazy to think about just how much Wellness and well being and connection and growth is it drives us to do everything that we do. Yeah, I think once I discovered that We lead ourselves that kind of really made me look at myself differently like yeah Not that I've ever been one to fully blame external environments or any anything like that but it really makes me want to Lead my situations and take ownership and responsibility, accountability, like, okay, I might have not been perfect today, which happens quite often, um, that a version of me that I'm not always so proud of shows up, but I have to be the leader of myself, take accountability, say, okay, you're going to lead yourself better tomorrow, you know? Yeah. It's, it's funny because I feel like we've heard the word consistently for you four years, me six years, but I really just feel like now it's actually like hitting. Yeah. So I, just for anyone out there who, you know, relates to what we're saying, but also is like, well, it just really doesn't feel like it, it hits home. Like be around leaders, positive, influential leaders. Based on love, connection, growth, learning, falling, like, I love how Kevin Trudeau talked about, you know, really look at how these people have failed. Because if someone is, like, if you're looking at a leader and you're like, wow, I really, like, I really looked up, look up to this person. If they haven't failed like you have, you're really never going to believe that it's possible for you to be in that position. You have to find someone that has literally walked a similar path to you to give you that conviction that, okay, I can, I really can shift. Yeah. And it's, it's never too late. There's so many people I feel like, okay, I just hit the 40 year mark. You just turned 42, 41. Um, I always thought you were, yeah, you're a year older than me. That's right. Um, but the truth is a lot of the most successful billionaires, millionaires, CEOs, Got their wealth and their fame in their forties, fifties and sixties, right? So it's like it's never, never too late. No, never too late. And we're only living longer. So that even extends that window beyond. Oh, I'm living too. I'm living along. I think I'm gonna live really old. Me too. For sure. I gotta see what the hell's gonna happen at this world. I gotta stick around for as long as I can. Yeah, the show is great. Yeah so I got a question. So leadership is your word for the year. Yes. What is your main objective with your leadership? Thank you for asking your court and I'm asking the question. Yes. This is court answering the question. So I'm ready to take our team to our absolute top potential and many of our leaders say, you know, you're going to the top of this company and it's like, okay. Yeah. Okay. That's, you know, that's figurative. Or no, that's real, whatever that word is. That's, that's physical. Like, this is, like, you can't succeed in this. And success looks different for everyone. For me, it's like massive, massive positive impact. And with that, we get rewarded with positive income. And with the income, You are able to impact more people like that. I'm all about serving more to earn more to give more that has been my mantra since I started my business. I'm here to change not just lives, but worlds. And it's like, You know, if we impact one life, it's changing their whole world. So it's like we're changing worlds. We're influencing people in the best way to go past every frickin limited belief that we've ever had because we all have them and they're all the same but they just hit us in different ways for different reasons. So, I want to really, truly help as many people as I can. And it will be measured in our business by going to the top of the company and helping other people get there, too. And it's such a cool reward. Like, you know, when I first heard that, it sounded a bit egotistical to me. But it's like, man, you literally can't rise to the top. Without helping other people. It's like such a like ethical way of business where so many other businesses keep people. Either as bottom feeders or, um, like making them believe that they can't be any more than they truly can. But I'm just really obsessed with like showing what's possible. So I have to use my voice more, which is great. Cause it's one of the biggest reasons we did this podcast was to practice using our voice, practice sharing, like. What's possible, painting the vision, casting, what's possible for anybody. So, that's, that's what I'm, I know, I know that's what we're all here for is to step into our greater self and connect back to that whole love, growth, learning, growing, all of it. Yeah, I love it. And that's the thing too. It's like, yes, we're in network marketing, so obviously we're in sales. Yeah, but we're not like just trying to shove products into people's lives. There's a whole agenda behind that. Like, so when I came to you as a client, you didn't, you changed my world, but you changed Joel's world. You changed Mason's world, my sister's world. My mom, I can start crying right now. My mother's world, like the ripple effect by changing one person's live, the ripple effect that it has by me changing. Within 30 days of changing my lifestyle, the ripple effect that it has, the way that I treat the people around me and how it's evolved into four years later, like that is the power of what we do. Like, and the bonuses we make. We make a beautiful income. Yeah. We make, uh, I'm trying to think of the word, not quantity. We make, um, commission. Yeah. We make commission off of what we sell, but the, we give back with the commission that we make. Like, and that's something that I do in the bar business. And that's something that I love about this Arbonne business. Cause I can do it in a different way, you know, and it's just, we don't want to just, yeah, we want everybody to have cleaner, cleaner products, but our whole goal is to change people's lives. Because our lives have been changed and, and I mean, as we step into our next level of leadership, it's, it is the opportunity of being a professional network marketer, which sounded really weird to me in the beginning, but now I'm obsessed with it. It's such a different. It's such a different, um, format and layout when it comes to business. And business is an exchange of energies to, you know, obviously. You know, it's an exchange of, you know, someone putting the time in, and then it impacting other people, and then the reward of income. Like, that's what business is. People look at it, and I looked at it, in such a strange way, because I feel like culture wants us to believe that something like this is impossible. Well, it's got a whole negative Cloud over it. I think and I don't like the term multi level marketing. I don't know. Just that to me sounds I like network marketing direct sales or whatever like e commerce. I feel like that's just more of a clear. I think because people have said such negative, right? Exactly. So anytime I like you mentioned MLM, like people are just shut off and it's like, I feel like a lot of people don't give the opportunity. Well, again, I think it's the 95 percent of people that are. Believing the evil powers, the evil powers put it out there where this is not, not something you should consider it's right. Scammy, schemey, whatever the heck. So many Facebook groups that are like, Oh, you can't post your MLM on here. And it's like, what kind of community is that you're, you're supporting somebody's personal business. You're helping a personal person with a family. You're not that money. Yeah, it's going to the company. Part of it, but it's not going to the big corporations. So it's just like it boggles my mind sometimes like that's why it's like It's on us the people the network marketers to share the bigger picture. Yeah, and it's brilliant Yeah The amount of people that are already millionaires that already have their own companies or work for big companies that are already making a great Financial income still are doing network marketing. Yeah, because they know especially with our company It's designed incredible. Well, and it's like Okay. So as a dental hygienist, I make good money. I can't go around teaching people how to be a dental hygienist at like, that's just not something that I can do. I can teach people how to be a really positively impactful network marketer. Like it is so, and, and the income opportunity blows dental hygiene out of the park. Um, so it's just like, what's cool about it is that it can be. The gift can be given to anyone, but then that's also hard because then it can be given to anyone and just like there's really shoddy dentists out there. There's really shoddy network marketers. Oh, yeah. Yeah, like and they put a bad rap on the people that are trying to do a good thing. But at the day, we align with who we're supposed to align with. That's right. You know, I mean. Plenty of dentists have completely ruined people's lives. Like, people that come into the office now and are like, you know, I had this awful experience one time, has ruined them for the rest of their life. Like, that could be one network marketer that, you know, had a really bad, Presentation, whatever, and threw someone off and they're writing it off for the rest of their life. But then there's people that are like, you know what? I wanna, I wanna enjoy my dental appointments. I don't wanna let this fear or this bad experience completely ruin my life. And that's, that's leadership. Where are you leading yourself? What intention do you have for your You know, openness, your growth, your learning, your, you know, processing life stuff. So, and I think that's another huge thing about what we do in the business is raising people's awareness, raising people's standards, raising people's consciousness, like the way they think, how they are, their outlook for life, because it's just, that's what it's done for us. And we get to do that for other people. It's just a great all around, just all the things that community, the support, just the like minded of people, I just, all of it, it's just the best thing that ever happened to me, Court. You know, same. God, Joel hates when I say that because he thinks he's not the best thing that happened to me. Joel, it's the best thing that ever happened to me, but I just mean in my personal growth. Yeah. Like, not like Joel listens to this podcast, but. Just wanted to throw that out there for everybody else. Joel, it's the best thing that ever happened to me.\ Yeah, and you're one of the best things that ever happened to me. You're absolutely one of the best things that ever happened to me, Meg. Thank you for coming into my life. Thank you for coming into mine, Court. Thank you, dead Brett. And Carl. Oh, Carl.
