Morning. It's about that time. Affirmations for recovery. Day 21, vente uno. See, it's about friends. We talk about friends today, man. I'm telling you, the next nine days is all about empowerment. It's all about lifting up our. Yeah. Lifting up ourselves and just being better people. So day 21 is about friends. I want you to talk about friends. What does it mean to be a friend? What does it mean to have a friend? I think it's so important, man. Friends are like, they make the world go round. Real friendships make the world go round. Yes. So the acronym for friend. Fabulous, refreshing, intentional, enduring, nurturing defender. Yes. When I think about a friend, that's what I like. Those are the qualities that I like in a friend. Somebody that's going to talk, stand up for me when I'm not even there. Yes. Love on me unconditionally. That's where love is. That's for friendship. So day 21, we talk about friends. How many of us have them? Yes. The ones that you can depend on. Yes. I'm telling you, man, it's a beautiful day to be journaling, waking up. I'm telling you, it's a refreshing feeling just to wake up on the right. Side of the bed. I start the morning with prayer, thanking God for waking me up to see another day, another opportunity to bridge the gap. I'm telling you, it's so important that we start our mornings looking for a happy place, right? So for me, my happy place is talking to the father, talking to the source, bro. I'm telling you, man, that's a great way to start the morning every morning, man. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. And then after you say thank you a few times, man, the smile start happening. Then after the smile start happening, man, I'm only thinking about things that keep that smile on my face. Telling you, man. Yes. The bills are due, all these things, okay. But I choose, I make it a conscious effort, guy, to make sure I find my happy place, man. And I stay there. I live there, man. So if you don't see me, you know what I mean? It's because the energy ain't right. Yes. I thrive in good energy. Yes. So, affirmations for recovery. I'm telling you, man, every morning I wake up, I'm looking for a way to smile. This adds therapy to me, man. I love giving back, man, to the community that I once destroyed. So, yes, I'm part of the problem and I'm part of the solution. So it's a beautiful thing, man, when you make that conscious effort to do the work. Yes. Because you can't buy recovery, folks. You got to do this work, work. You got to work it out, man. I'm telling you. And it's got to be consistent. You can't be taking no off days. Oh, yeah, I'm going to do that tomorrow. I'll get to that tomorrow. No. Procrastination is the number one killer of your recovery. Yes. And when I think about recovery, people, I think about the mind, I think about what's going on upstairs in the head. Yes. And then you can apply that to anything. If it's substances, if it's a mental health struggle, whatever the case may be, journaling is a great way to combat that. So, yes, happy day 21, man. It's a beautiful time. I'm making it a beautiful time, man. Yes, there's problems going on in the world, but, yo, I'm choosing smiling. I'm choosing victory. I'm making a conscious effort to just. Do what I got to do to be good today. And I suggest you do that, too. And shout out to everybody in recovery, man.
