Lauren:

It's time to pull a tarot card for the week of September 15th. Let's go, frank, let's go. What do you think about today?

Frank:

I'm thinking we woke up a little bit earlier today to try and accommodate the East Coasters and I haven't had enough day to have an opinion about it yet, so we've got a blank slate. Let's do it to it. My cadet cards here.

Lauren:

The 1909s. I'm excited to see your shuffling work come together.

Frank:

As in. You're seeing it come together before your eyes.

Lauren:

I'm excited for the future when your shuffling has the skill that mine has.

Frank:

Lauren wants me to be able to do that bridge thing where it goes After the actual, so satisfying. I can't do it, sorry, you know what? It's not cadet compatible.

Lauren:

I've been playing cards since I was like eight. My brother and I played a lot of war.

Frank:

That's a Lauren Maynard fortune.

Lauren:

I made my fortune from gin rummy.

Frank:

Hey, spirit guides of the collective, what do we need to know today? It's been split, it's been chosen. Hmm, oh, that's okay. That's okay. Eight of swords Reversed, reversed. You know, that's the one where the lady's all wrapped up and blindfolded and there are swords all around her. You know, this is the card of kind of keeping yourself trapped.

Lauren:

She's got all these means to cut herself free.

Frank:

Yeah.

Lauren:

Yet she doesn't use them. It looks bad.

Frank:

Half of these cards look bad. So it's also the card of kind of freedom from fear and you know, which is actually very poignant, because last week was kind of a spooky week. You know, we can't allow ourselves to move on from that. Or if there's something going on in your life that's like been holding you back and not the thing itself but actually just the fear, then it's time to let that go. Slice those ropes open, Take off that blindfold.

Lauren:

Yeah, just break yourself free of those limiting beliefs and your fear. This week, going into this week, do one thing that you're a little scared to do, but that would make things a little bit better.

Frank:

You love, your do one thing. Yeah, you do one thing I liked it.

Lauren:

I like the challenge. Do one thing.

Frank:

Do one thing.

Lauren:

What's one thing that you've been like? I don't want to do that because someone will think it's dumb or I'm going to judge myself. I guess that's where my brain goes. I'm a very self-critical person.

Frank:

No, I kind of thought that too, Like the vibe. The vibes are like being yourself, allowing yourself to try the thing that you're worried about trying.

Lauren:

Something that I like that Bashar says is that anything that you can think of that's within the theme of your life is possible, and something about that is so magical because it kind of breaks that fear open a little bit Like I could do anything, and that's so freeing.

Frank:

Think about something that you're really interested in, or something that you know is right for you, but you're limiting yourself a little bit. You're like this is a big theme in my life, but I'm only willing to take it this far, because what are people gonna think, or whatever?

Lauren:

Yeah, or what I have a tendency to do is expect like kind of the bottom tier of possibility or the bottom tier of success, which is just above failing.

Frank:

I would suggest you have a tendency towards your version of success being like how you managed to get through it when you failed.

Lauren:

Possibly, yeah, yeah. So I appreciate Bashar's insight in that, like, what's meant for you will find you, but also anything that you can think of is possible, which tells my little squirrel brain I don't have to think in such a small, just above failure, way.

Frank:

A lot of time. Fear presents as the thought of like what am I going to do when things go wrong?

Lauren:

Yeah, and yeah.

Frank:

And I think this card for this week is saying what if everything goes right? And let that grow and let yourself daydream for a second and then your blindfolds are off.

Lauren:

So this week anything is possible. Guys, we love you and don't forget on our Patreon, frankie is doing a little coffee and Reiki Swing on by A little quiet, a little coffee day. A couple of moments with frank hang on for a second.

Frank:

It's not so bad, I'm not such a bad guy it's not.

Lauren:

It's a safe place to be.
