Tarot Card for the Week of October 27
I said Hamlet but I meant Macbeth!!! UGH!
With time management and avoidance expert Lauren Leon, we translate tarot symbolism into a clear, low-drama system for getting real work done.
As Anna from Frozen 2 says: “do the next right thing” — choose one step, do it without drama, then ask what’s next.
If this helped you breathe a little easier, follow the show, share it with a friend who needs momentum, and leave a quick review. Tell us: what’s your next right thing?
We hope this message resonates!

It's tarot card time for the week of October 27th. Happy Halloween, everyone. Now, Frank, grab those tarot cards.
Frank:These ones? Yeah. My cadet-sized tarot cards.
Lauren:Cadet-sized cards.
Frank:For my cadet-sized hands. It doesn't mean anything. It doesn't mean anything.
Lauren:Today we're going with what does our collective need to know this week? And the shuffling has begun. Shuffle shuffle. Toil and trouble.
Frank:Shuffle, shuffle, chocolate, shuffle.
Lauren:I was going with the um the witches from Hamlet. Oh, that is the Five of Swords.
Frank:As usual, we've referred to Fearless Tarot, the good book, as I call it, by Dr. Elliot Adam.
Lauren:He likes to describe this card as not being super overwhelmed by the tasks at hand. If you have something overwhelming that is like a big project or something that you want to get to, break it into smaller chunks.
Frank:And here to speak with us today about time management and avoidance. We have time management and avoidance expert Lauren Leon.
Lauren:So let me tell you about time management. Play the like music behind this that's like that was all air and no whistle. Guys, I get easily overwhelmed. Anybody else? My MO is usually like procrastination, unless I am hyperfixated on something. And then I'll just keep keep working at it. If it's something that I want to do, but I also feel intimidated by, I put it off until I'm actually ready to tackle it. But instead, when I do small bits of it, just like, all right, today I'm just gonna get half a page done of whatever this is. I feel much better.
Frank:But let's talk about what actually happens too for Lauren is that she'll break it down into small chunks, list it all out, and then hold that whole thing in front of her. That's the same as looking at your whole big task, right? Yeah. You get overwhelmed by the entire thing. Mm-mm, mm-mm, mm-mm, mm-mm. Listen, what we need to do is just do the next thing. You know, Anna from Frozen.
Lauren:Do the next right thing.
Frank:For those Frozen 2 fans out there.
Lauren:Frozen 2, all the music slaps.
Frank:Kristen Bell just wailed on that song. She did she did the right thing. Literally, just like give yourself the goal of just the next thing and don't look at the rest of it. Once that's done, you could be like, what's next?
Lauren:Use excitement, break it into chunks.
Frank:You can only carry a couple swords at a time.
Lauren:You don't have to be sad, like the guys in the background that are like, I can't do this.
Frank:Well, computer please enhance the quitters in the background.
Lauren:They threw their swords down and said, Not today.
Frank:No emotion needed in task management. Let's just go.
Lauren:Yeah, let's do this. Let's go. We love you. We love you.
