Lauren:

Hey, it's time to pull a tarot card for the week of December 15th, also known as my birthday week.

Frank:

Her birthday week. Happy birthday to Lauren on December 16th.

Lauren:

Thank you so much.

Frank:

That's the only gift she's getting from me.

Lauren:

So we're well in the swing of the holiday season, right? Perpetual hope. Aye. This is Christmas, the season of perpetual hope. Uh, if you're not a home alone fan, don't watch the show.

Frank:

Yeah, you can you can beat it. Sorry. Did the uh unreasonable fear of home invasion craft our subconscious?

Lauren:

Oh, for sure. Someone could break into my house and I will not be as prepared as Kevin.

Frank:

That's why Lauren always, no matter what, always had cans of paint tied to ropes above her staircase.

Lauren:

And a loose tarantula, just in case.

Frank:

Lauren hates spiders, but she made sure to keep a loaded loose tarantula on hand. Hey, Lauren. What do we need to know? What do we need to know this week? You know, we all are subject to the ebbs and flows of the tide of humanity.

Lauren:

The Yule Tide of Humanity.

Frank:

The Yule Tide. Very nice.

Lauren:

The Two of Pentacles.

Frank:

As per usual, we have referred to the good book, Fearless Tarot, by Dr. Elliot Adam.

Lauren:

The King of Tarot, if you will.

Frank:

And the only thing to note about this card is that he's wearing a phallic hat. Have a good week, everybody.

Lauren:

That's it.

Frank:

Everyone's got a plan. And that plan is gonna change whether you like it or not. And it's so important for us to stay adaptable, right?

Lauren:

Keep your knees bent. Be ready for action.

Frank:

Stay frosty. Frosty the snowman.

Lauren:

You know, in in a chaotic period like this is, like we're, you know, a lot of people get stressed by the holidays. Keep it light, keep it fun, ride those waves, those tides, the Yule tides. I want to just keep bringing up Yule tides. Just keep it going. No one has time. Keep it going. Don't let the chaos rule you. Like you're what are you what are you doing if you're doing that? Why?

Frank:

Some of the magic happens when your plans shift. Oh, as Bob Ross fans, maybe not his personal life, but his work.

Lauren:

Just sit with Bob Ross fans.

Frank:

He's got a Coke pinky.

Lauren:

I read that it's about his paintings. You hold up your painting easier.

Frank:

Okay.

Lauren:

Where are you going with Bob Ross anyway?

Frank:

Listen, what does Bob Ross call the mistakes?

Lauren:

Happy little accidents.

Frank:

Hmm.

Lauren:

Huh.

Frank:

Because when you adapt when you adapt to those happy little accidents, that's where something magical happens. It wasn't according to the plan. No one could have seen it coming.

Lauren:

And yet it seems like it was meant to be there all along.

Frank:

Isn't that true?

Lauren:

Just like Kevin McAllister didn't plan to go to New York, but you know what? He made some lifelong friends along the way.

Frank:

And they were all pigeons.

unknown:

Good night.

Frank:

Merry Christmas. Have a great week. Happy holidays and stuff.

Lauren:

Happy holidays.
