Miss Jai Smith, MPH, a health equity advocate, discusses gender diversity, historical healthcare barriers for trans and non-binary individuals, and the impact of social stigma and discrimination. Since 2011, Miss Jai has worked to enhance services for gender-expansive communities and founded Ask Miss Jai in 2022 to train and support healthcare professionals.
