7: Pain + suffering has a purpose

On this episode of The Sick Sisters Podcast Tara and Taylor talk about the purpose of pain and suffering. They bring up the questions, "Why didn't God intervene? Why doesn't He prevent the pain and suffering? And if He promises to never leave or forsake us, why are these things happening to me?" 

They explain that God will meet you wherever you are, even when you are feeling broken. Disappointment can lead to a radical encounter with God. 

It may be hard to understand the purpose around pain and suffering, but it will show you God's comfort and compassion. You can then offer the same comfort and compassion to others when they are going through a similar battle.
