The Average Joe Sports Show

The Average Joe Sports Show: Thursday, May 29th

Chris Schmidt, Bill Doleman, Gary Sharp, Elijah Herbel

Chris Schmidt and Justice Rhody bring you a Thursday edition of the Average Joe Sports Show, where they talk about Nebraska's schedule and times for the 2025 football season, the map to success for Husker Baseball in Chapel Hill, and where this College Football Playoff expansion will lead to.

Hour One gets kicked off with Brandon Vogel from counterread.com, and he gives his insight on Nebraska Football's schedule release, the exposure the Huskers will get from the primetime slots they have, and what he thinks of the SEC moving to a 9 game conference schedule potentially.

Legendary coach Gary Barnett leads off Hour Two with the guys, as he talks about the gametimes as a coach, where he is on the proposed CFP 5+11 model, and what Year 3 will pose for Matt Rhule.

Next, the guys travel to the diamond virtually in Chapel Hill as Nick Handley of Nebraska Baseball Radio hops in for a chat about the Huskers prospects in Chapel Hill, what kind of challenge Oklahoma will pose, and how the Huskers can make their way out of the regional.

Finally, it's Burke's Bets Bets with Danny Burke, as he gives the guys a look into what he feels for the NBA Playoffs and the Stanley Cup Playoffs, along with what Nebraska Road Game he wants to attend in 2025.

All of this, plus some gift advice for Elijah, only on the Average Joe Sports Show!!
