Speaker 2:Hi everyone, adriana, here I'm dropping in with a quick update for you all. I haven't released an episode in a little bit and just wanted to share that the podcast is going on a more official pause. So when I started season two last year honestly, pretty close, pretty close after season one I started working with a producer to make the new trailer music and develop a sound and release a new trailer, and I had the episodes all outlined and the themes for season two I was super ready to go into some solo deep dives. I was really amped on storytelling in that way and then already curating a guest list for season three of who I wanted to bring on here for you all. And so I had all of these plans and really wanted to keep the momentum going.
Speaker 2:But what I noticed time and again was, even though I had the outlines and the info, the energy just wasn't coming. Like the energy wasn't there. The pull, the pull to record wasn't there. It was like, even if it was in the calendar, it just wasn't landing and it almost seemed like. Oddly enough, like you know, we talk about like flow, state, like sometimes things just flow, and there was a lot of like, almost, like what do you say going? Going against the grain, going upstream, trying to record, trying to do outlines, like get everything done and not not coming together easily, in the way that once you've like done something for a while, like especially if you've done a podcast, like doing season one, like once you've understood, like energetically and in your body like, what it feels like when things like have that momentum and are going, and in your body like what it feels like when things like have that momentum and are going swimmingly. Um, when it's not, it becomes kind of kind of obvious, even if you're like not wanting to see it, which I was sort of like in that space, a little bit like. So meanwhile, all this is going on the other parts of my creative life, my music, my coaching offers, the things I'm building behind the scenes. They are absolutely asking for my full presence and I just have found myself split in too many directions and I'm learning a bunch of things about really how to hone in your energy and focus and focus on your goals, focus on specific milestones, focus on your schedule, your calendar, like how to just like, uh, blur out the noise, like it is an aligned part of the creative journey right now. It is something that I've learned to honor and I'm learning to listen earlier, to choose that, you know, to choose that clarity over pushing through or forcing something. And and definitely, um, you know what's wild is that the the last episode that I uploaded on here was about burnout, and we did talk a little bit about, um, how Emily had paused her show, I believe, at some point to recalibrate, before she came back onto her podcast, and so it's really interesting, like you know how the timing of things and I feel like that reflection definitely definitely hit me deeply.
Speaker 2:So here I am listening to the season two. You know episodes and you know taking action in my own life, so it's kind of like a live example of that. So this is a pause. It is a sacred pause. I've done this before.
Speaker 2:After quitting my job, I took two months off to pause. I took three months off Instagram last year. Every single time that I've allowed some of these, some of this space, I've come back with, you know, more clarity, a line direction, different perspective, different way of relating to whatever it is that I'm taking a break from, and so, while season two may have been a little shorter than planned, it was definitely perfect and it's worth honoring. And so thank you for listening, for growing with me and for trusting the pauses as well in your own life. I'll be back when the energy returns with more to say and a structure that can truly hold it.
Speaker 2:You know it's it's hard to admit, because I honestly love to do everything, like literally I love everything. I love every program, every course, every podcast, every artist, like all of it, um, and the way that creative pursuits and projects connect you to so many people. But also I know that taking this pause and returning when I return, it'll be with more support and with the right team behind it and with, like, just a much clearer container to hold it. So in the meantime, if you want to stay connected, you can find me at my website. You can find me on Instagram. I've now been over on Pinterest and uploading blog posts more frequently. That's really a place that I'm feeling inspired to be right now.
Speaker 2:So I also have a new song coming out May 2nd If you're listening to this before then. It's called a New York goodbye and I can't wait for you all to hear that, and I'll definitely be shifting my energy toward promoting promoting that over the next month and sharing and sharing insights and learnings from from that process. It's a totally different creative process than a podcast. So just continuing to share stories, but just in different forms for now. So thank you so much for being a part of this space again, for listening, feeling evolving, and it's not a goodbye, it's a recalibration. So I'm wishing you the best spring and I don't want to put a date on the return, so I'm like I'll wish you the best spring, maybe the best summer, maybe the best fall. I'm just giving myself the permission to return when it feels right and I'll talk to you soon. This podcast is for entertainment and general informational purposes only.
