The men of the It Stands Written Podcast return after an extended break to bring you new episodes in 2025! We appreciate the patience of every listener as the guys have needed time for life events and other ministry areas. This return includes Braden, Justin, and Elijah with an introduction to Danny, our faithful brother on vocal editing/sound design. Excited to update you on what God has been doing in their own personal life’s they are even more excited to be back together recording new episodes. This first series back talks about the tragic martyrdom of beloved founder and CEO of TurningPointUSA, Charlie Kirk. As today’s episode is released on Charlie Kirk’s birthday, the men discuss the life that Charlie lived and the impact he had on countless lives. We are aware that there is an attack on biblical truth and we continually need men and women to stand firm. This episode is a remembrance of Kirk’s life but also a call to all followers of Jesus Christ to not back down and to stand tall in the face of adversity. We cry out with the Psalmist when he says “So teach us to number our days, that we may present to you a heart of wisdom” (Psalm 90:12).

Welcome to the final episode of our Politics and Religion series and the final episode for the year. This episode is a sermon by Justin after the election and the decision to elect Donald Trump into office. As we rejoice that God has shown us mercy in this country this win is not enough. There is work that must be done every day to share the gospel and advance God's Kingdom. Follow along in Revelation 6 as Justin shows us the wrath of God poured out on sinners. There is a coming judgment from the One who needs no election because He has always been on His throne and always will be. We praise God we have escaped such judgment but must tell others how they can escape this Judgement too. Let your heart be encouraged but also challenged to be a vessel for God.

In the conclusion of this subseries in Creation Vs. Evolution the guys, Braden and Gavin, discuss the final information on how DNA and proteins function. Gavin gives clear insight into the probability it would take for certain events to occur such as a protein being created. He explains the Law of Small Probability which states that specified events of small probability do not occur by chance. We see through the complexities and impossibilities of the universe happening by chance, that there is one thing left to conclude which is that there is a Creator who designed everything around us. The beauty is that the universe did not happen by chance and neither did you.

In this episode, the guys explain that evolution is not just a theory but has multiple repercussions. Without a Creator, you have no justification or reasoning for morality. Morality can be whatever you make it. Evolution is a belief that shapes your worldview and the way that you live. The guys take a look at some very famous names throughout history and how their denial of a Creator led lives lived pursuing evil and degrading humanity. God has given every human intrinsic value through their being made in the image of God. Life is beautiful and it is to be cherished and valued. How much more should the Creator of Life be worshipped and glorified.

In this next edition of the It Stands Written Podcast Braden, Gavin, and Elijah come together to discuss irreducible complexity. This is the idea that a system cannot perform basic functions without all of its components. If you take out one thing then it ceases to exist. They go into detail on how complex the human body is by looking at how a body will fight off a virus and kill anything attacking it. God has so greatly designed everything to work together to survive. This is further proof that humans had to come into existence at one moment in time. It would not be possible for these systems to evolve into one complex being. The Lord has so beautifully designed all of us and we should praise Him for His handiwork.
