This is Soul Therapy. I'm your host, Jen Hully, and on this podcast, we explore the tools and insights that lead to a more aligned, fulfilling life. Together, we're going to learn how to regulate your nervous system, deepen your intuition, and reconnect you with your true self. This week we are talking about the healing power of sound and vibration. Not only to deeply restore our nervous systems and achieve a state of real rest, but also as a tool to connect us to our intuition, to receive messages and guidance, and access deeper states of meditation and altered states of consciousness. And hearing that, you're probably like, what is she possibly going to tell us about? Because it sounds like a lot of things packed into one thing, and it's absolutely true. This week we're talking about tuning forks. Yes, tuning forks. They are new as a tool for me. I have been using them for maybe six months, but they have been so transformational in my own nervous system regulation, my own healing, and my own intuitive practices, as well as my sons and clients that I work with and groups that I was facilitating a retreat with, that I am just like, I am fully, I have drunk the Kool-Aid and I am on the tuning fork bandwagon. And my goal is for you to be on the tuning fork bandwagon by the end of this episode. I say that, but I kid, right? My goal is never to convince you that one tool will fix your life, but I really hope to open up your mind to the possibilities of this tool and to help you decide whether this is something that will work for you. Above all else, I want to make you curious and I want to just get the wheels turning in your head where you're thinking, okay, like this is something I've never considered before. What might it be like to, you know, play with this? Because that is how we find solutions, friends. That is how we move through deep states of healing and meeting our core self. It's by basically taking a let's play with it perspective. Let's see how this works and if it can work for me. And you know what? If it doesn't work and you absolutely hate these things, that's totally cool. You now know that you don't need to work with tuning forks, right? It just closes a door. And closing a door can be as powerful as opening a door because we're gonna no longer consider an option, right? But when everything's kind of half open, our brain goes into like overdrive, being like, what about this? Maybe this, maybe this, right? And that's what keeps us stuck. That's what stops us from moving. And so this week, yes, we're talking about healing, rest, rejuvenation. We all need that, right? Like, am I right? We all need to chill out. We need to restore our super depleted energy reserves, but we also need to get into spaces where we're feeling calm and present and connected. And I myself am super sound sensitive. I will start with that disclaimer that I slip into sensory overload very quickly. Like I go from zero to a hundred with sound quite often. And if you're listening to this and you're like, well, I'm so sound sensitive. How could this possibly help me or is this going to be terrible? I want to encourage you to keep listening because it's my belief that if you're really sound sensitive on like the negative end where like it kicks you into overdrive and like dysfunction, if you're that attuned to sound and it's that powerful for like taking you off the map with a few tweaks, you can use that heightened sensitivity or that super sensitivity for the other end of the stick. So I think for myself, that's why sound has been so transformational for me, whether it's through um sound baths or singing bowls or tuning forks. It's because I I go into the other end, right? Like I so quickly go from like regulated to like I am gonna break a window if there's sound. So if that's you, really, really consider getting some tuning forks and playing with them. And now these, I got them online. I have a set, they look like a rainbow, they're all different colors. If you want to see them, go to my Instagram or TikTok. I frequently make videos on there where we demonstrate them and you can play little games and listen and see what happens. Um, but I have a set that is tuned to the chakra system, meaning each tuning fork aligns with a different chakra. And we're gonna demo them in this episode. We're gonna like dive in and you're actually gonna get to listen to them. So it's kind of like a play date. Like we're gonna learn something and I'm gonna share some stuff and talk about like the how and the why, but then we're gonna just play and we're gonna test out the tuning forks, and you can sit and listen, see what comes up for you. Now, disclaimer don't be closing your eyes and listening to tuning forks while you're driving. This is one of those episodes that, yes, is great to listen to while you're driving, walking, running, working out, doing something at home. Um, but also save it and come back to it so that you can try out these intuitive practices that we're gonna do in the episode. It's gonna be one that you want in your toolkit for um easy accessibility. And you know I always like to start the episode with a tarot card, right? It just sort of pulls us into alignment for our conversation. And the card that came out today is the sun. And if you know the sun, you know what I'm about to say. You know it's a good one. I mean, I don't like to say like there's good cards and bad cards, but when the sun comes out, you're like, oh yes, baby, yes, and give me more of that. Because the sun card is literally the happiest card in the deck. It's a space where you're feeling great, everything's flowing great, you're happy, you're present, you're enjoying your life, things are moving and grooving, and you're just in that state of like bliss, wonder, awe, creativity, expression, fulfillment. And don't we all want to be there? Like, like, don't we all want to be there? We do. We all want to be in a space where we're connected, we're grounded, we're enjoying our life, and enjoying our life in order to do that, we have to be present. That's what embodiment means, being in your body and in the space and accessing what's actually happening and allowing yourself to open the gates and feel the things. And I think with this card, considering we're talking about tuning forks, the immediate tie-in for me is that you can bring tuning forks into part of your daily practice or like a as needed practice. I don't use them every day. You know, I use them, if I'm being transparent, when I need them. It's like you take an Advil if you have a headache, right? I use them where I'm like, oh, I'm feeling this. Let me get out my tuning forks. Or, oh, I want to access this kind of state in meditation, but I'm feeling kind of funky. Let me get my tuning forks. Um and uh yeah, let's just buckle up. Let's go in, right? Let's dive into this and start talking and testing and playing with these tuning forks because the sun, we all want a little bit of that, right? We want that state of bliss, happiness, like life is flowing with purpose and passion, and we're so happy to be alive and we're just feeling like we are our most authentic deep self. And it's that fulfillment that comes that almost you can't wrap words around, but when you feel it, you know it. And you know, if you're in a space where you're like, heck yes, I want to access the sun, how do we get there? Um, it's all about coming home to yourself. Coming home. And remember, home is an acronym: healing, opening, meeting, and expanding. Doesn't matter what you're working on, whether it's relationships, finances, work, life goals, dreams, anything, you have to attend to those four parts. We can't just sort of like set goals and go for it because if we haven't healed our nervous system and we're not in a state of like deep regulation and rest, no matter what we do, it's just gonna, it's not gonna work, right? And when we attend to those four things where we're healing deeply our nervous system, we're opening our mindset and opening our intuition for insights, new pathways, new timelines, new possibilities. And we're meeting our core self, meaning looking at our shadow, looking at our inner child, looking at our authentic desires. Then we can expand, then we can set goals, then we can start putting things into action that move us forward, gets us out of the like prickly icklies of our life and into this space with the sun. And you can learn more about this if you go to the link in my bio, the coming home program, which is intuitive insights into alignment. It's three parts, it's a deep dive reading, it's a personalized program of support based on those home framework points and an integration session. It's all there to move you out of that icky icky into the all right, moving and grooving, things are feeling good. And I encourage you to go check it out. All right, go to the show notes, click on it. You can read all about it, you can learn about those frameworks, you can learn about what we do in them. And then if you have any questions, you can reach out or you can just book and get going. And I know that getting going is the funnest part, right? So let's get going. Let's get going on this. Let's use that as a great segue into tuning forks 101. And this episode is coming from a reel that I created probably in June, July, August, like three months ago, that is still going bananas on Instagram and TikTok. Um, and it's my most viral reel. It's probably like my only viral reel. It's got over a million views. It's shocking because it was one of those things where, again, following your intuition, I woke up and I was like, I just want to play with my tuning forks on, you know, on a video today and put it out there with just some questions and letting people play with it. And it went bananas. Okay. Bananas, tons of views, but tons of questions and lots of the same questions. And so I thought, what better way to attend to all of these with depth and purpose than to do a podcast episode? And so, first things I want to tap into or touch on is like, what are tuning forks? Okay, like tuning forks are actually used in music. Okay, I don't know how they're used in music, but they're all tuned to different um notes and stuff, right? But this cat, this kit that I have, like I said, I got it online. It's uh attuned to the different chakras. And on my set, you look at it and it'll say, like, root 194.1h18 Hertz, okay. And they're metal. They look like, again, go on Instagram or TikTok if you want to see what they look like, but mine are colored, different colored, and they are a metal U with like some weights on the end and a little stick. So kind of like a pitchfork, but with only two points, and it has like little drums on the end. And they come with a rubber mallet, and you you whack them and it kicks off a vibration. You can actually like feel it when you put your hand beside it, or if you place it like near your body, and it creates a different tone, a different pitch for each one. And like I said, you can feel the vibrations if you place your hand near it, but also if you put the handle on um different parts of your body, you can feel the vibrations actually like moving through your body. It's super cool. And so let me just give you one right now so you can listen to it. This one's for the root. And so, with that one, it's uh it's still vibrating in my hand, it's still going. You can sort of hear what it sounds like, and I want you to imagine what that would feel like in person, being able to feel the vibrations in the air. It's such a weird thing. I remember being like, this can't be anything, and then trying and being like, holy shiz, like this is cool. And they're used for so many different purposes, okay? I have learned that they can be used for pain management, similar to acupuncture, like they'll activate them and then put them on different meridian points on the body if you're having a headache or whatever, or like you can have some on the on the bottom of your foot. Um, they can be used to activate the chakras. You can sort of activate the tuning fork and then place it on the body near where the chakra is that you want to work with. They can be used for sensory regulation if you're feeling very overwhelmed or overloaded. They can be used to sort of like calm the mind using like just one tuning fork. It helps you uh tune in and attend to like just that sensory input of the sound or the feeling and tune everything else out. Um they can also be used, like I said, for intuitive practices. You can use them to get into a state where you're like sitting and listening to them and just almost like imagining your your body and your mind space as like a blank canvas or like a TV screen, and then listening to the sound and then just seeing what fills that space, whether it's a memory or a sensation in your body. And that can help us connect to our clairs, right? Our Claire audience is what we hear, our claire voyance is what we see, claire sentience is what we feel. And tuning forks, I don't know why. I mean, I don't know how it works. I just know that like when you hear them and you feel them, something happens where it's like, poof, memories come in. And we don't need to know how things work. Like, if you really want to like get into the science of it, you do you. Sometimes I think that takes the magic out of it, right? We just need to be like, this works, and that's good enough for me. But why should you care? Right? Like, why give a shit about tuning forks? Um, because they, like, in my own personal experience, have me go from 100 to zero like that. Boom. Like I can be ready to smash a window to feeling a-okay very, very quickly, especially if I pair it with um breath work and I do things like shut off other sensory input, like closing my eyes. Um, when I'm feeling really scrambled and really like dealing with sensory overload, one of the things I do is I hit the root chakra tuning fork, I activate it, and then I just sort of place the handle um right sort of like in the middle of my chest, like on those bones that are like a little bit below your collarbone. I'm not a medical professional, I don't know what they're called. But um, I like the root one and I like the heart one on that. And again, like I said, this is a process of like playing and investigating and finding out which ones work for you and which ones, you know, elicit that response that you're wanting. But so I'll use them with myself, like I said, to go from like zero to a hundred. I've used them with my son to help him when he was experiencing um bouts of anxiety and replaying certain memories about something that happened. I would use the tuning forks to just sort of ground him and get him, uh, helps him sit still, first of all, right? If he can lie there and I can sort of have it standing up on the top of his head or on his chest or on his foot, and we're talking about it, and I just hit it. And the physical sensation of the vibrations and the sound just help to slow down his brain waves enough that he can access the conversation about what whatever it is that we're picking apart. Um, but we've also used it to like revisit and reprogram some memories, some stuff that happened to him that he was kind of looping about, like it was a traumatic experience. And I wanted to close the loop. I wanted to revisit it with him and have him like create an alternative ending to what happened, right? So that he would just sort of stop perseverating on it. And I would use them, I was using the heart one specifically because he identified like the pain that he was feeling or the anxiety was in his heart, and I would use them to um just help keep him tuned into the storyline as we're doing the breathing and the meditation and uh revisiting and sort of talking through, like creating a new script for what happens. Um, a really fun thing you can do with these is um, yeah, you can like the simplest thing is like you hit it, you listen to the sound, you put it in your ear, right? If you just close your eyes, put it in your ear. It feels like, you know, those things that they used to put on your head that looked like a claw. It's like, I don't know what they are. They're like tinglies, and you just sort of push it down, it goes on your scalp. It can give that kind of sensation for some people. I hate that sensation, I will say. Like I hated those little head massager things, but this is okay for me. So definitely try it, see if it works for you, and like play with it until you hit that sweet spot. But you can, like I said, you can hit it and put it in one ear. But the really cool thing, if we're talking about regulating your nervous system and getting into like a calm as fuck state very quickly, is to use two at the same time, two that have different pitches. And the like non-scientific, easy to explain image for you that I want you to like imagine right now is I want you to imagine that when you're activated and stressed out, that your brain waves are like totally scrambled and they're like they're all over the place, like you can't read them. Just imagine like squiggly scrambly lines. When you hit and you activate two tuning forks and you put one in each ear, what your brain does is it actually creates a third tone. It finds like the middle ground between the two. And by putting your brain through that process, it takes like your scrambled brain waves that are like all over the place and up and down to something that is more coherent and more like has this bet a more of a state of equilibrium. So that's like taking it to like a like a deeper degree. Yes, you can just listen, but if you really want to like tune yourself into calmness through your sense of sound, but also impact your brainwaves, you're gonna do two, one in each year. And again, play with the two to see which ones pair really well. Sometimes I do crown and root when I'm trying to just like pull my energy into alignment across my entire body. And um, it works, man. It really, really works. Now, something, uh, a question that has come up many, many times is like, what if I feel nothing? Like, what if I'm listening? I don't feel anything. Am I dead? I get that one a lot. Am I dead? Am I doomed? Am I a demon? I'm like, I don't know if you're a demon. Like, you you tell me. Like, that's a weird thing to say. Um, but if you don't feel anything, especially if it's through a video, like if you're watching this or sort of listening to this on your phone and you're like, I don't feel anything, the first thing I'm gonna ask you is like, do you have headphones in? Because putting in, especially earbuds, noise canceling earbuds, is going to help bring the sound just even closer to you. If you're watching on your phone, like I said, listening on your phone and it's distance to you, sometimes it's harder to access that state, especially if we're not in the practice of like tuning into our bodies and noticing sensations. And I was not at the beginning of like my wellness and spiritual journey. I was the most disembodied person like on the planet. I like couldn't feel shit. Like, I was like, I don't even know what that feels like. When they say, like, where do you feel joy in your body? I'm like, uh what? Like, I'm like, what does that even mean? Right. So if you're not feeling anything, A, check your headphones. If you got headphones in, B, check the environment. Is it quiet? Like, is it actually that you just aren't able to hear it at that time? Or perhaps you're earlier on in your journey where like you're just learning to embody sensations and tune into what you feel. And that doesn't mean like you're doomed and tuning forks are never gonna work. It just means that when we're working with tuning forks, that's kind of your your goal, your starting point is to feel things in your body. And you could start by actually like placing them on your body to start, you know, feel certain things in different parts and be like, okay, I'm feeling sensation in my head. I'm feeling sensation in my, you know, my throat or my chest or whatever, just to almost like remap the body as where different sensation points are. And it doesn't, like I said, it doesn't mean you're doomed. It just means that like something's going on that either the conditions aren't right, the environment's not right, or it's not right for you right now. Or maybe you're just having a bad day. Like maybe you're tired, maybe you're distracted. When we have a lot of shit going on in our head, it's very challenging, or it's more challenging, I should say, to access these states, right? Because like the brain chatter is loud and we're worried about stuff and we're, you know, thinking about what we got to do in five minutes. So you maybe you need to like clear your head and do a little quick meditation or breath work before you work with tuning forks. It's like how you stretch before you run, right? Ask yourself what do you think your body needs to be able to engage in this experience with deeper meaning? Now, um, the other like flip side to that is okay, like what if I felt nothing comes up a lot. I also get the question of like, I felt it in my heart. I felt it in my shoulders, I felt it in my knees. What does this mean? Am I gonna die? People default to like, am I gonna die immediately, which has been fascinating. And it's not like I can't read nuance or like sarcasm. So I'm like, are they are they being serious? I don't know. Um, I hope people aren't being serious because that makes me think that we're all a little more strung out and nervous and panicky than I I thought we were. Like, I think we're pretty strung out and nervous and panicky, but that takes it to like a different level. Um, but there is no one answer. I will say this over and over and over again with like every practice that I use or utilize or like promote, there is never one answer to a question of like, what does this mean? Because the whole purpose of coming home to yourself and gathering intuitive insights and connecting with inner. Guidance and aligning with yourself. Do you see how many times I said self, inner? It's individual. It's individual. And these are times when you have to make a call. Like you have to make the call. You have to decide what it means. And there are questions that you can ask yourself. There's like journal prompts. There are things that you can do to make that process easier or to help it flow or to help you go deeper than just the surface. I put a lot of questions like this in my weekly email in Friday Feels. So if you aren't on the email list, now is a good time to go sign up for it because questions go in there and supports and like intuitive practices and resources go in every Friday that help you do these things at home. Because I want you to fill your toolbox. I want you to have access to things that you can do immediately, wherever you are on your journey, so that you can start feeling better and start feeling more connected and start moving in a way that like feels good and brings in good results, you know, whatever that looks like for you. And so when we get the question of like, I felt this in my heart, what does that mean? The starting point is like wherever you felt it in your body, check in with which chakra that's close to. So, like arms, just do a Google search. Okay. Google is your friend. What chakra is are the hands connected to? And you'll read it's mostly connected to the heart. You can do a little read up on what that chakra means if it's blocked or if it's overactive. And that can be like a good uh entry point to be like something that your body is trying to bring to your attention or something that your mind is trying to like guide you towards, to be like, hey, you know what? In terms of like personal power and solar plexus, stuff is not moving. We're actually kind of a little stagnant there. And that might be why you're feeling it in your solar plexus. So that's like phase one, right? It's just do a little Google search and be like, hmm, what do the resources say that this means? But the second step, and perhaps the most important, is to then dial it in and make it even more personal. And when you learn about that chakra, like you learn about, say, the solar plexus and personal power and whatever, ask yourself, like, what does that mean to me when I think about personal power or I think about these, you know, characteristics of this chakra? What do I immediately think of? Like, what am I being reminded of? What am I feeling in my body? You will always, almost always have a memory, or you will have an immediate answer to that question, but your mind will get in and be like, I don't know. There's always something. Something always pops in. Quite often it doesn't make any sense. Our ego, right? Our egoic mind wants logic and reason and things to make sense. So your ego's like, that's stupid. Get it out of here. Pay attention to that first thing that pops into your mind when you ask yourself that question. And it's the same with like, maybe you didn't feel something, but you saw something. Maybe you heard a word or you heard like a snippet from a song in your head when you're listening to the tuning fork. Whatever comes in on that, like, like I said, we're making our mind, body, and our space, our inner space a blank canvas. And when we hear these notes, what comes in? What does it mean for you? I saw my childhood dog. What is the childhood dog associated with? Oh, you know, it's associated with like freedom and this. I used to take her to the park and blah, blah, blah, like whatever, right? Just sort of go deeper and deeper and keep asking questions and keep listening to yourself and see what comes up. So, what I want to do now, because I've been yammering on a lot about stuff and like my former background as a teacher is screaming at me, being like, standing up and talking to a room full of people about what something can do without letting them play with it, is not helping them learn. I want to jump into actually playing with these tuning forks and giving you an opportunity to listen to them. And again, if you don't feel anything or you don't see anything, that's okay. That's okay. Ask yourself, why might that be? What might be the barrier or the block or the speed bump that's between you and that kind of experience? Is it your expectations? Are you expecting something monumental to happen? Because often these like intuitive shifts are very small. They're very small and almost undetectable, you know? And that's the tricky thing with intuition and um embodiment sensations, is they're not, it's not like being hit over the head with a frying pan. It's like little tiny whispers. And so that's why that practice of mindfulness and stillness and being open and aware to what is going on for you internally and externally is so, so important as we work on developing intuitive practices like this. All right. So let's get some tuning forks out and get going. Um, there's gonna be a lot of background noise in here, probably, because they're metal and I'm gonna be moving stuff around, but bear with me. I am gonna move through the set first. We're gonna go through the different chakras. Let me adjust this microphone. I don't want to actually hit the microphone. And I'm gonna do each sound two times, maybe three times, depending on how long it vibrates for. And depending on where you are in your journey, in your experience with tuning forks, just take a minute to like set an intention. And maybe your intention is just to experience tuning forks and to be open to the sounds and decide, oh, that feels good, that doesn't feel good. Maybe you're like further along and you want to connect with clairvoyance and clear your mind's eye and just pay attention to images that come in. It's a great idea to have like a pad of paper or a notebook or a journal or like your notes app on your phone to just record what comes in. Because, like, from my own experience, um, intuitive stuff flashes in, you're like, whoa, that was really insightful. And then it goes. Like, I don't know why. And I think it's because um intuition is like an altered state of like brain waves, right? And then when we go back to like alert and awake brain waves, it's like, I can't remember what I did. It's like if you I remember learning in psych, like I think it was like Psych 101, where it was talking about how like if you do something in an altered state of consciousness, you won't remember it. Like if you're drunk and you put your car keys somewhere, you often can't find your car keys. But then if you got drunk again, you would remember where your car keys are. It's kind of like that, right? So let's um let's get going. Let's go with the root chakra. And like I said, set your intention, take a minute. Is it just to experience? Do you just want to be like yay or nay? Do you want to tap into intuition? Do you want to use it for rest and relaxation? If it if it is, like if that's your goal, just sit and breathe. And just be with the sound, right? You get to decide how active and inquisitive this is and how um passive and restorative you want it to be. Okay, here we go. Uh, root chakra is associated with safety, security, stability, belonging. And so you might want to apply that lens to whatever you felt or saw or heard or what came up for you. Uh, and you may not, right? We're gonna go to the next one, which is sacral. Okay, sacral is like feelings of like desire, creativity, pleasure, passion. Um, it's a desire to like enjoy life and all that it has to offer. And this one is, I don't think I said the root, the root is um tuned to one nine four point one eight. The sacral tuning fork I have here is two one zero point four two. I whacked the microphone again. Apologies. I'll get better at this as we go along. I don't usually use them with my podcast microphone unless I'm recording a soundscape. Um and we'll talk about soundscapes at the end. So hang on, because soundscapes are really important for meditation and rest. All right, let's move on. Solar plexus, personal power, authority, agency. It's like that fire of life to go out and kick some ass. 126.22. Let's tune in. Notice what happens. You can compare, not compare, just be present. Here we go. Okay, on to the heart, center of love alignment, compassion, kindness. It's one three six point one zero. How is that? Do you have a favorite? Do you have one that you're like, oh god, make it stop? Uh it's important to note, right? Things that we uh have we feel an attraction to, we can also feel an aversion to. We're gonna go on to the throat chakra. It's one for one point two seven hertz. The throat chakra, located in the throat, associated with the color blue, is about self-expression, truth, using your voice to articulate your needs, stand up for yourself, manifest, make things happen. Um, it's directly like for me, I think of it as a vehicle for personal power and alignment. And uh let's go, let's see what happens. All right, here we go. On to your third eye, which is located on the in the forehead, sort of between and above your um your eyes, in between above your eyebrows is a good way to sort of think about it. It's with indigo. It is 221.23. It's the seat of intuition, receiving messages, uh, knowing, having clarity of thought and paths, and sort of seeing how things um move are like gonna be moving and grooving. For third eye is blocked, it's hard to um make decisions and make action that are aligned. Like you're kind of doing stuff all willy-nilly, and it's like a hot mess. So something to think about. Listen to this, see how you feel, whether it's a yay or nay. If anything comes in, make a note of it, and we're on to the crown at the top of your head. Divine wisdom, universal guidance source, um, connection to what is above and beyond us. 172.06. It's a nice purple on this one. And um let me know. Let me know. When I say let me know, like literally DM me, send me an email, I'm interested. I find I could talk about this stuff all day if you can't tell. Alright, we have one more. There's a bonus one in this set. You might be like, that's the end, right? That's the upper chakra. There's one in here called the soul heart. Uh, sometimes it's called the soul star chakra, which is supposed to be, from my understanding and my reading, a connection to like your life's purpose and your life's plan. This is the one that was on the video, the real and the TikTok that went viral and had people asking a million questions. And I think it's because it's supposed to help you attune to your life's purpose. So, with this one, I always say, like, pay attention to where in your body you're feeling it, because if it connects to your throat, perhaps your life's purpose and the path you should be pursuing, or like what can help your path move forward, you know, with greater accuracy and like fluidity would be speaking or using your voice or advocating for others or self. Um, there were some people that commented, I think they were said they were like a therapist or something, and they felt it in their heart and their throat. And I was like, that's that doesn't shock me. All right, here we go. Last one, you ready? I have multiple people that say, like, my cat ran out of the room. So if you have a cat and they ran out of the room, I don't know why. I feel like maybe it's just a pitch thing, like how dogs are super sensitive. I don't know, maybe, or maybe cats are like aligned with like our soul's purpose and who knows, man. Maybe cats are the overlords of the afterlife. Like, I don't know, but cats go crazy with that one. Um, and what was so interesting for me on this side of it is like I can feel it in my hand. I've got my headphones in right now because I'm recording on my podcast mic, right? So I can feel it in my hands. My headphones are noise canceling, so I can't really hear very much about it. Like I can hear a little bit, um, but I can see the sound waves because I'm using garage band, and as I'm recording, you can see like the shape of the sound waves. Whoops, I just hit the microphone. Apologies. I should probably put this like rubber mallet baton down. I'm just swinging it around as I talk. Um, I can see it. And so like seeing the different shapes made by like the different tuning forks was fascinating because it just shows that like each fork has its own shape, its own sound, its own through line to our bodies, through our ears, our intuition, our minds, our hearts. And I would encourage you to one, listen to this a couple of times, give it a whirl. Two, make sure you're following me on Instagram, TikTok, because I put little videos using the different tuning forks up every now and then. Three, consider getting yourself a set. Okay. Um, and you can go to like a metaphysical shop. If there's a spiritual shop, it sells like crystals and stuff. They should have tuning forks if you want to play with them. Or you can just order them online, check the, you know, check the refund policy, give them a whirl, test them out, send them back. I went for a full set. I didn't want just like one or two. Um, and frankly, I liked these because they look like a rainbow. And I was like, that's my vibe, right? If something looks fun, you're like more likely to use it. That's also why these are such great tools, right? For meditating. If meditating is boring and it sucks, add a freaking tuning fork. Kids get toys. We like learning and teaching kids new habits and tricks and ways of doing things. It's all done through play. It's the same for us, right? So get some toys, get some tuning forks. You know, that's also why I love like therapeutic art and stuff, is because we feel like we're playing. There's a novelty element. Our brain's like, ooh, novelty. This is interesting. And immediately the like reward system's activated and you're more likely to do it. So get yourself a set. Like I said, I got the rainbow one because I was like, this is cool. I want to play with this. And it was like a hundred bucks. It wasn't much, right? A hundred bucks, and we're good to go. So play around with it, you know, play around with it. Start with where do I feel it in my body, or even just start with like, is this a yes or a no? Do I like it? Yeah, no. Sort them out. Pay attention to where you feel these things in your body, pay attention to what comes into that inner canvas, your mind's eye screen, you know, your inner state of being, whether it's a feeling, a sensation, a smell. See what comes up and start to work with them. And I mentioned briefly soundscapes. I want to just let you know that, like soundscapes, what are they? They are um music, like meditation music paired with um things like binaural beats and things like tuning forks that they're all created with a purpose. And I make them and I put them up on YouTube. And they're there because they are supposed to be a tool. Like I want them to be a tool for you to access whenever you need it. And you can go and listen to them. So go find me on YouTube, show notes, links, you know how to do it. And I've got some up there that are for like tuning into your root chakra, aligning with your sacral chakra and creativity. Like I said, everything just like there's ways to like dial it up to make your meditation deeper, more insightful, or to make it more enjoyable and more likely to do it. And soundscapes are a way for me personally, they work really, really well for me when it comes to like regulating and calming down. There's just something, like I said at the beginning of this episode, something so transformative for me, like in my mind, but in my body when I listen to certain sounds. And so um, Soundscapes has been something that I've been um exploring and creating on YouTube, but also creating personalized soundscapes for clients when I work with them. And if we're working on something through like the heal module and we're really working on nervous system regulation, uh, Soundscape might become part of their protocol that we put together. And we make like a personalized one using different tuning forks and figuring out what works best for you. So go to the show notes, tap the link for coming home, learn all about creating your own personalized framework for deep healing, deep connection to self and alignment on a path of expansion. Find the YouTube channel, access some of these soundscapes, get on Friday Feels so you're getting all the journal prompts and uh protocols that will support you through this. And come hang out on social. Come hang out on social. We play with tuning forks probably on a weekly basis. And don't forget, you love this podcast, rate and review, please and thank you. It really does help grow the podcast community, sharing it with friends, posting about it on social, tapping five stars when you're in your podcast platform, or just leaving some words of support. It means so much to me. It really, really does. It seems like a small action, but it means so much and it has such power. So thank you, thank you, thank you for all that you do and for tuning in. And until next week, go forth and kick some ass.
