This is Soul Therapy. I'm your host, Jen Hully, a professional intuitive life design coach and guide obsessed with empowering others to build authentically fulfilling lives. This week we're talking all about manifesting, aligned action, intuition, and personal power, because you absolutely cannot vision board your way to a life you want to be in. It is part of the process, but it is not the entire process. Now, manifesting, life visioning, goal getting, whatever you call it, the energy is the same. You have set your sights on something and you are ready to do the work to pull it into your orbit. And yes, vision boards are great, but they are by no means a set it and forget it approach to building the life that we want to be in. Now, in this episode, we are going to talk a lot about how you intuitively design a life and how you engage with processes like vision boards, manifestation, goal setting, intuitive practices to connect you to that aligned action. And as you listen and you find yourself realizing, like, you know what? I need to change some things, or I feel like I'm on the wrong path, or this is blowing my mind. I want to do everything completely differently. I want you to go and tap on the link for my calendar and book a session. I have my June and July calendar up, and you can book either an intuitive reading or a coaching session, and we can get you moving again, get you from a space where like you're spinning your wheels and not experiencing the things that you desire and start getting you into these really powerful micro nudges that make all the difference. And I want you to book a session even if you don't know where to start, even if you aren't sure whether you want an intuitive guidance session or you want a coaching session, I want you to book a taster session. They are 30 minutes, they are free, and they are a time for us to sit down and chat and talk about what is going on, what you've been trying, how you're feeling, what you've been experiencing. And from that, we will figure out a pathway forward for you. I will give you some strategies, I will give you some tools that you can use immediately, and then I will guide you in a direction that I feel is aligned from you, and you can ask me any questions about all the stuff that we do. All right. Show notes, tap it, do it today. Taster sessions, intuitive readings, intuitive coaching. They're all there. Go grab yours. Okay, so now back to the process of vision boards and like why they aren't this magical set it and forget it process that brings all our dreams to our reality. But that would be great though, wouldn't it? Like, wouldn't it be amazing to just spend a night creating and curating images of the life that you want to live in, cutting them out, making them look pretty on a board, and then just looking at it and being like, come to me, life, come to me, and just waking up and it's there one day. That would be amazing. And if it worked that way, everybody would be doing it, right? Everybody would be doing it. And as in life, as in a lot of things, it is far more nuanced than that. And it does not mean that it's unattainable. It just means that we are, you know, we're multifaceted and we need to go about things in our life from a multidimensional approach. We can't go towards a complex, rich issue or a goal that's multifaceted. We can't go about it with just like one thing and be like, this is gonna do it, because we're far more complex than that. And yes, vision boards, amazing, right? The thing about vision boards is they take a lot of time, takes a lot of intention, takes a lot of energy to make these vision boards because you pour your heart into them, and that's what we want. But we do not want you to trick yourself into believing that all that energy that you've poured into the making of the vision board is actually the same kind of energy that's expended when you do the things that get you towards your goals. Now, before we go diving into this, let's set our intention. Let's pull a card. My intention with this episode is to have a conversation about why vision boards work and how they also don't work, so that you can arm yourself with the knowledge. You know, knowledge is power to understand how your brain works on a complex level. Because I really believe a big part of success as a human is understanding what it means to be the owner of a brain, right? Because when we understand how it works, we can hack it to our power. And I want to have a conversation that arms you with um information and powerful just strategies to get you using your brain in a way that is beneficial to your goals, but also bringing in things like creativity and manifesting and mindset, because when they all come together, that is when the magic occurs. And frankly, I want you all on the road towards the things that you desire. I don't want you out in the cold, you know, shivering, looking inside the window and like being like, oh, everything I want is in there, but I can't have it. Um, because I don't believe that's true. I believe we have far more power than we allow ourselves to believe. And I set the intention, as per usual, and I went over to my desk that's like my little tarot table that has all my cards, which is growing by the week. I keep picking up new decks, but I love them. And I got this new deck this week called the Modern Witch Tarot. And I was shuffling and saying, you know, I want to talk about life visioning and I want to talk about vision boards, and I want to talk about how people can align themselves with like the thinking and the action and the energetic states that need to happen to start moving towards their goals, but I want to do it in a way that empowers people. And I just asked, I said, what message needs to come through at the beginning to start this conversation? And I pulled the five of pentacles. Dun dun dun, right? It's not as scary as the tower, it's not as scary as the devil or the death card. It's not one of those ones where people are like, oh my God, oh my God. But it's not a it's not a pretty card. Um, traditionally, now, depending on who you work with, is as a tarot reader or an intuitive reader, if there's someone who like sticks to the book, they'll be like, oh, this card means like financial ruin is coming. And I don't, I don't believe that that is the case. I don't believe that tarot cards are out to tell you. I don't think anyone should be out to tell you that terrible things are coming, but it is a card about of lack. It's a card about like not having what you need or what you desire in order to feel safe and taken care of and supported and just enjoying your life. And in this card, there's these two women in the deck that I have. There's these two women walking in the snow, and they're kind of like head to the ground. One's got their eyes closed and they're they're they look cold. They're like bundled up and trying to stay warm, but they are outside of a building with there's light on the inside. And if you can see through the stained glass, there's pentacles in there. And this card really is to remind you that, like, when you're in the thick of the shit of it, or when you think you are so far away from your manifestations, or so far away from what you desire, it's often closer to you than you think it is. Sometimes it's behind a door that you have yet to open. Sometimes it is, you know, harbored within a person that you need to reach your hand out to to ask for help. It's this reminder that like help is always available, pathways are always available, the thing that you're seeking is so close to you. The warmth and the comfort that you're looking for from this like scary, snowy, dark evening is right there. You just need to get up off the floor, or you need to turn around, you need to adjust your gaze and to see that, ah, there it is, there it is. And I think it's such an important card to consider before we get into this conversation about manifesting and abundance and goal getting, because we can really believe that everything that we're seeking is really far off, or that the door is completely closed and it's like not available to us whatsoever. And you know, like in the Five of Pentacles, we can spend our life, you know, bundled up from the cold and being like, my life is about lack, my life is about not experiencing the things that I desire, my life is always struggle and pain, and the people on the, you know, that are inside having the party get to have all the things that I want, but not me, not me, perpetual suffering. And sometimes these situations happen, right? Sometimes, yes, we get into spaces or phases of life where things aren't flowing with ease, but there's a reminder like there's always an end, there's always a pathway out of it, and quite often it's about a redirection of focus or attention to get back into alignment and into a space where you're calling in and attracting these kind of experiences and people. And vision boards, right? Like people, let's tie it into this. Vision boards can often be like in this Five of Pentacles card, the women are walking, they're cold, they're like, oh my God, it's so hard out here. And the thing that they're seeking is in the building beside them, behind the glass window, right? It's there, but they're like, it's not for me. And your vision board can become this. Your vision board can literally become this card. It can become this thing that sits on the wall in your office or in your home that you look at that just reminds you of all the things that you want but you don't have. And when we get into that state, your vision board can make you feel like shit, which is not what we want because when we feel like shit, we it affects our mood, it affects our perception of things, it affects our beliefs, just affects everything, the way we interpret every single thing that is happening to us and around us. And it puts a lens on that impacts how we act. And then it changes our actions, changes our experiences, changes our results, which then reinforce it's like this self-perpetuating cycle. So we want to make sure that we're using vision boards appropriately in a way that is empowering and not disempowering. Because if we fall into the trap where we, you know, spend all the energy constantly making a vision board, we are tricking ourselves into thinking that we're doing the action that's gonna bring stuff into our life and we're not. We're getting busy doing something else. Or we can use our vision board as like self-punishment almost, and to be like, hmm, look at all the things that you really want, but you're not having in your life. And it can become this sort of like cycle of um self-harm, like psychologically and emotionally. So let's backtrack a wee bit and talk about like why vision boards work. Why do we hear a lot about vision boards when we talk about manifesting goal setting and whatnot? And vision boards actually work scientifically in some regards. Now, there's a book called The Source by Tara Swart, I believe her last name is either Schwart or Swart. It goes really heavy into the science of manifestation and the like the brain science of like why manifestation actually works. And the short version, I'll give you like the Coles notes version of why vision boards work, is because we have something in our brain that's called, like a process in our brain called value tagging and something called the reticular activating system. And it is part of our brain that runs on autopilot, it's part of our subconscious mind. It's not something that we do during the day. We're not efforting to do this, okay? It's just your brain on autopilot scanning the world constantly. Your brain is constantly scanning the world and sorting the infinite amount of sensory input that comes in into like, you know, opportunities, encounters, people, places, noises, all of that stuff. It's starting to sort that information. Because if we like processed every single piece, our brains would explode. So the first level of sorting is important versus not important. And this is a critical part of brain processing, like I said, because so much comes into our brain at once. Like I'm in my room, there is noise outside, there's light coming outside. I've got, I can hear like a fan going in the other room. There's a ton of things around me to look at. I can't attend to all of these at once. Right now I'm attending to my recording software and watching it go, making sure that it's recording my voice, things like that. Everything else is like out of my awareness. And that process of sorting from important to not important is so critical because, like, if our brains gave the same level of importance or value to everything we encounter, we would like literally explode. Like your brain would literally be like, cannot compute, done. I want you to imagine like a computer that is stuck in a perpetual cycle of constant buffering. You know, when it's like too much information is trying to go in, it's like buffer, buffer, buffer, buffer. It would just buffer and buffer and buffer until you literally like blew the screen of your mind. You'd be gone, right? Like, we done, we're out. And so our brain enters into this process of value tagging to keep us alive and to save energy. We always want to be like on a subconscious level, we are always trying to conserve energy because energy is what is fundamental to life and existence. And believe it or not, your brain uses so much energy. It burns so many calories, just the process of thinking. So, in order to conserve energy, your brain starts this value tagging process, determining what is important, what is not important, what needs to be attended to, what doesn't. And through this initial filter, you begin to attend to things in your surroundings differently. Okay, now what's funny about value tagging is that you would think that, like, like what you'd want to think that we value tag things that are desirable, right? You're like, that's great. Yeah, of course my brain's gonna tag the things that are valuable and important to me, like success and happiness. And it does not actually work that way. It doesn't care if what it's tagging as valuable is positive or negative. It doesn't care if it stresses you out or makes you feel happy. It's just running on autopilot, guns blazing. It's like, fuck yes, doing my sorting job, but it's kind of like a wild animal in that it's just sorting based on what it thinks is important, not necessarily what is desired. Like it doesn't care what it is, it's just labeling it. Yes, no, yes, no, yes, no. And this labeling works in conjunction with your subconscious mind and your subconscious beliefs. So if you have a really deeply ingrained belief in your subconscious mind that certain types of opportunities are important or whatever, your brain is gonna value tag anything related to or that supports that belief. Okay. So, like if you believe, say you live somewhere and you're like, oh my God, everywhere, every person that lives in this city drives a friggin' white SUV. Your brain is gonna tag every single SUV as valuable so that you notice all of them. You're not gonna see the red cars, you're not gonna see the yellow trucks, you're not gonna see the purple cars. Because your brain's literally going to filter out because you have a belief, everybody drives a white SUV, and your brain's like, must prove that to be true, must, you know, and your brain is a good worker bee. It's like, you believe it, boss, I'm out there to get you the data. Here we go. And so it starts bringing your brain to attend to the opportunities, the input, the things that basically support that belief that you have. So in vision boarding, what we're doing is we're attempting to shift our value tagging system so that our brain notices the things that we desire and starts to build those unconscious pathways of thought that lead to action, that lead to the desired outcome. Now, did you catch what I said there? I'm gonna say it again. Ready? Okay, get ready, pay attention, clear your brain. Our brain notices the things that we desire and begins to build unconscious pathways of thought that then leads to action that leads to the desired outcome. The key in that sentence is action. When you place value on a certain thing or an experience, your super fast, phenomenal brain, you know, that worker bee that's out there, it's like, I believe it, boss. You say it's important, let me go help, like, let me serve you, even if it's destructive. It's gonna make as many associations as possible during your day to prove your belief, to reinforce your values. Okay, it's called confirmation bias. This system that's running in your brain essentially is trying to alert you on your inner GPS when to take the exit ramp, when to slow down, when to speed up, what to repeat, what to avoid. It's trying to prime your body for action to take place by alerting you to things that need to be attended to and ignoring things that are going to slow you down. And yeah, you can collect inspiration, you can search for examples of what you are desiring existing out in the world, and you can curate these images that like showcase your dreams, but it doesn't mean shit if you're not taking steps towards it. And I mean that with like the most spicy kindness possible. Having a beautiful fucking vision board means fuck all if you're not doing anything to bring yourself closer to that vision board. In fact, I will argue that it is detrimental, toxic, and harmful to flood your mind with images of what you desire if you're going to then gatekeep yourself from experiencing it. Like if you're gonna shut the gates and block off that path that's gonna take you to experiencing those things, you are just continuing to torture yourself, to feel shitty, and to reinforce this belief of like, I don't get what I want. It is like building a castle and then putting a huge iron gate around it. You can admire it from afar, but you're never gonna get in. And how would that feel over time? To be standing at the gates of this castle that you so desire being in, but knowing that you're locked out and you have absolutely nothing to do to get in. Constantly looking at what you're wishing for and not achieving is going to make you feel like shit. It is going to create and reinforce an identity of being a loser. I'm just gonna be blunt here. Being a loser, being someone who's a failure, being someone who's not worthy. And there is a part of everybody's brain, myself included, that wants you to believe that. It wants you to believe that. And it's going to, again, value tagging, right? We have beliefs. We all have beliefs. If you grew up, you had a family, you went to school, you lived in a community with other people. There are beliefs that are deeply rooted in you, regardless of how wonderful your experience was, that sort of planted this belief that you're not good enough. School, like just the school system of like an A versus a C is going to create a belief that, like, I'm not good enough, I'm not worthy, right? And so we have to consciously engage in practices that override that part of our brain that reinforce that belief. And that, like I said, this vision board process, if we make it and we look at it and we never get it, it's just it's gonna make you feel like crap over time, it's gonna make you feel small, it's gonna make you feel powerless, and then you're gonna slip into this like learned helplessness state where you're like, I don't get what I want. Why bother? Why even try? And then your brain values not getting what you want, and it leads you to attend to reasons that prove your belief that you don't get what you want. Like it's just this, it snowballs, okay? It snowballs. I believe fullheartedly that this is why people go down the route of like the law of attraction path, because they become aware that they want something and they read the books and they listen to the, you know, the what do you call it, the podcasts, and they listen to the like the inspirational talks and stuff, and they go down, they're like, I'm gonna do this, I'm gonna vision board it, I'm gonna like think about it every day, but they get frustrated and they bail and they're like, fuck this shit, this doesn't work, right? It didn't work for me. Right? And but I ask you if you if it didn't work for you and your vision board didn't work for you, did you work for it? Like, ask yourself that honestly. Did you work for it? Law of attraction doesn't work for me. Are you working for the law of attraction? Are you working for manifestation? Are you working for goal setting? Doesn't matter what you call it. It's all the same thing. Everything has, it's just wrapped up in different packages, right? It's all about the process of connecting with an authentic desire, something that you want, and then setting forth a cascade of actions and pathways forward to get you to have that thing. So, oh yeah, it didn't work for me. Having desires and and receiving them didn't work for me. Well, what are you doing to work for it? And when I say work, I do not mean toiling away until you're exhausted. I do not mean draining yourself until you have nothing left to give. Because work, again, that is a word that you can um what's the word I'm looking for? Decode and really pick apart what you believe work means. Like when when you heard me saying, like, did you work for it? Are you like, what was your reaction to that? Were you immediately like, oh my god, I should be doing more? Oh my god, I gotta be doing this, oh my god, I'm lazy. I'm but like we have beliefs about what the word work means. So I don't say work meaning like toiling away, like I said, until you're exhausted, depleted, a heap on the ground, can't do anything. Work just means making moves every single day towards your goal. And they can be micro moves, they can be micro shifts, it can be um tangible acts out in the world, it might be internal shifts on working on your inner beliefs and your subconscious mind. But quite often than not, it is the micro moves that have the biggest impact. And we don't believe that. We believe that to have big things, we need to take big steps. And we let that belief stop us from even taking the first step because we're like, oh, I could never have this huge goal because it requires me to be able to do this. And so I'm not even going to start. But really, every large goal and everything that you experience starts with a tiny little micro shift and a tiny little action. And these micro moves, every single day, they accumulate, they snowball, they get bigger and bigger and bigger. So I want you to not mistake the act of wishing for something with the act of actively creating it. Wishing is not acting. Creating a vision board and looking at it every day, filling your mind with what you would love to have, but then not supporting that desire with the doing is like standing outside of a restaurant, stomach rumbling for days, but refusing to eat. Eventually you're gonna have to feed yourself because if you don't eat, you will die. And again, I'm being spicy and direct because I want this to hit home. Because the same goes for your desires, okay? Your desires are direct line to your life force energy. Because we only want things that we know on a deep level are going to fulfill us and are supposed to be part of our experience. So if you are wanting something, it's because your soul is craving something that it's supposed to have. And eventually you're going to have to feed your soul. Because if you don't feed your soul, it's going to die. And I don't mean like literal physical death, okay? I'm not, you're not gonna just like your soul's not gonna escape your body and you're gonna be dead on the ground. But I mean it's gonna be the death of your like joie de vive, your life, your love of life, your desire, your fulfillment, your life force energy that allows us to be present in our current experiences and take pleasure and enjoyment from them. That will die, wither, diminish, disappear if we do not feed our soul and our soulful desires. And feeding your soul, again, I'm repeating this in different language so that it hits home, but feeding your soul does not mean jumping off the deep end into a terrifying leap into the abyss or the unknown. That is self-punishment. That is setting yourself up for failure because you are launching yourself into a state where you're gonna activate your fight or flight, your fight or flight system is gonna take over your brain, and it's gonna be like, what's valuable now? Staying alive, shut it down, do nothing, you know, protect the system. So remember that feeding your soul looks like taking small, safe steps towards little victories. And I want you to ask yourself like, what life, what life experiences is your soul calling out for? What spark is inside you that is like begging to be ignited? When we are engaged in this process of life visioning, we have to ask ourselves some questions like this. And I'm gonna list off some questions for you here. And please feel free to use these as journal prompts, to use them as talking points if you like to, you know, record voice notes to yourself, or use them as jumping off points for creating a life vision, whether you're gonna do like some people like to do mind maps, use it for your vision board, even right. Use these uh questions to guide you. You need to ask yourself, what is it that you truly want? When we are, like I said, engaged in the quest of life visioning, or we are designing our life from a space of intuition and soulful fulfillment, we need to first know what is it that we really, really, really want. And I want you to answer that question honestly. Okay, if you need to pause, do that, come back after you've answered that question. Because once you've established what it is that you really want, I want you to ask yourself, is this what you were told to want? And how do you know that this want is going to be true for you? Because that is very important. Before we start building a life vision, a plan, a set of goals that we want to manifest, you got to make sure that you're actually manifesting for yourself and not your grade three teacher, or not your parents, or not your boss, or not like society at large. So go deep and ask yourself, is this what you were told that you should want, or is this what you actually want? And how do you know that that's true? Take it into meditation, take it into journaling, do automatic writing. Like, take that and really, really dig into that. That first series of questions is so important before you go any further. And you may find you need to circle back to be like, okay, what is it that I actually truly want? You may like go through that and be like, okay, no, this isn't, you know, it's not, it's a little bit honest, but it's not completely honest. And when you get to that point of like super raw authenticity with stating what it is that you desire, I want you to take it a little bit further and go beyond like the tangibles that are on your list and ask yourself, what is the energy or the emotion that is attached to this experience or this thing that you're craving? Like an example is I want more money. What is the money for? Is it because you want to feel safe and secure? Is it because you're seeking freedom? What is the emotional energy and the just general energetic experience that's attached to the thing that you want? Because the thing that we are pursuing is not just the thing. It's like the tip of the iceberg. You see it, you're floating in the sea, you're like, ooh, I want that. But it's actually all this stuff underneath the surface that your soul is trying to get you towards. Maybe it's connection, maybe it's freedom, maybe it's uh power, or like there's so many emotional energies that we're actually seeking through the tangible goals that we set. And once you've sort of hashed that out, you've got an idea of what it is that you want, why you know it's to be true for you, what are the actual like emotional anchors that you're you're pursuing. I want you to then take an assessment of your life today. And I want you to look at where are you today compared to where it is that you want to be going or where you want to land. Perhaps you draw a map and you find your starting point and your desired destination. Maybe you make a list, but I want you to get really specific and be like, well, this is where I want to be and this is where I am now. I want you to look at like where the discrepancy is, okay? Where the gap is. There's like a gap between what you need and what you want and what you have. And when you have that, start to ask yourself what experiences, what people, what places, and what things need to hold value for you when you consider that goal. Sounds like a lot. We're not done. We got more. So buckle up. Uh, this is a good episode to save, folks, and um go back to every time you're setting a vision board or every time you're setting some goals. Okay, so we've got an idea of where we want to go. We know why it's true, we know what emotions we're seeking, and we know what kind of things need to now become important in our life as we move towards that goal. Now it's time to like call ourselves out on our bullshit and ask where do we find that we're getting stuck in the space of wanting this versus the space of creating this? What's happening? What is, you know, cutting off the flow? Where are the gates being put up? What is stopping you from moving from wanting into actively creating a pathway to that? And maybe like you've been spending a lot of time or energy doing something and then thinking it's gonna have an impact, and it's actually the opposite. Quite often we like drain a lot of entry energy, excuse me, quite often we drain a lot of energy with mental acrobatics and like preparing ourselves to do the action. And we're stuck in this like perpetual state of getting ready but never doing it. So really look at like where is your time and your energy going tangible, tangibly, but like also internally. All these things that you're doing, maybe you're meditating like a certain way. Maybe you're like, I'm doing walking meditations every way, every day, and I'm listening to this track, and I think that it's priming my brain, and maybe it's not. We're all so complex. And this is why in my coaching sessions, I dip into a variety of strategies because there's no single pathway that works for everybody. So you have to really look at like what are all the things that you're doing, positive and negative, that you think should be helping you, but you haven't really seen results yet. Okay. And when you consider these things, and you consider where like maybe your energy leaks or your time leaks are happening, we're gonna move into looking at what we think might need to start or stop. Like you'll have this idea of like where you are, where you want to go, where you've been spinning your wheels and leaking energy, and from that be like, what things maybe need to, you know, there's this. I'm gonna like quote, this is me when I was a teacher. Stop, start, continue. We would use these sheets with kids when we were they were assessing stuff. What do you need to stop doing? What do you need to start doing? And what do you need to continue to do more of? And that process in itself can take a while. It's also something you're gonna go through continually. Okay, so you're getting this list of like, what do I need to stop doing? What do I need to start doing? What do I need to continue doing? And then we're gonna take it further. And you're probably like, oh my fucking god, like can we just like can we stop? No, because every time we like distill this down to a micro nuance, we're making it easier and easier and easier for you to take action and have success. Okay. So we've got this list of the things we need to stop doing, start doing, continue doing. You're gonna take it and you're gonna separate it into things that feel huge and impossible, things that are kind of midweight, like it's gonna take some effort, but it's not totally out of reach, and things that are just easy peasy. You could be doing it right now. There's like no barrier to starting, but you're just not doing it. And then you're just gonna tackle that easy peasy list. That's it. You're gonna pick something that you can do now. And you're probably like, what why? It's so small. And you're going to do that because you want to kick start a windfall of like reinforcing energetic and emotional experiences for you. Quick ones, easy wins, things that you can do now with little effort and you can have impact and results like that. Okay, these are quick wins that begin to rewrite your identity as someone who takes action and somebody who gets what they want. And that causes the value tagging system in your brain to shift. Okay, it's gonna lift your spirits, you're gonna feel better because you'll be like, fuck yeah, I'm someone who gets shit done. Fuck yeah, I'm somebody who gets what they want. It's gonna put wind in your sails, essentially. And that wind energy is going to be used to propel you forward into the next action and the next action and the next action and the next action. And you're probably thinking, like, how do vision boards fit into this? Because we started talking with about vision boards. And vision boards do fit into this because you make the board, you practice positive self-talk, and you encourage yourself about how you're on the road and you're reaching these things, and every day you're taking action. You identify the tiny wins that you can take every single day towards it. You look at your vision board, you think, what are the things that need to be important? What are the behaviors that I can do? What's on my massive to-do list that's like so simple that I can knock it off today? And then you go and you do that thing. And you collect evidence of every single time you do something and all the micro wins that you have, all the transformations, all the positive steps forwards. You take screenshots, you keep notes on your phone, you record audio notes to yourself. Every single micro step of movement is documented and celebrating because it's gonna amp up your value tagging, okay? Because your value tagging and your beliefs about what is important and what you're capable of is not just connected to this like loose idea that's on your vision board, but it is connected to a real life experience and a tangible emotion and feeling that you had during and after. Your confidence is gonna swell, your self-belief is gonna shift, and your brain is gonna continue to seek out more because that belief is gonna be like, oh, I am somebody who gets what I want. I am an action taker, I am powerful, and your value tagging system is gonna be like, that's right, boss, you are. Let me go out there and find more ways to prove it to you. Your brain is going to continue to seek out more opportunities for you to confirm what you believe. It's gonna find ways for you to prove that you're powerful, that you're brave, that you get what you want, and that momentum, it grows. The beliefs strengthen, the actions align and it repeats and it repeats and it repeats. And so vision boarding is so, so important, but it's the catalyst to this other stuff. It's the catalyst to the inner work and the tangible external shifts and actions that take place. And then when you are acting like your biggest supporter and your biggest cheerleader who's like, I'm gonna capture every single example of micro shift that I'm having, you're priming that subconscious part of your brain to keep going. Okay, it is a multi-pronged approach. It's not just let's cut pictures out and make something pretty and be like, wouldn't it be nice to experience that? It's so much more nuanced, but when you do the work to take care of all of the critical parts of it, it begins to work and things start moving again. And we went through a lot of questions in this episode. I gave you a lot of prompts. And every single rating and review makes a huge impact in getting this podcast into the ears of the people that need to hear it. So take a minute, tap those stars, leave a few words, make it easy for yourself to do. And you know what? Thank you so much for your support as you do that. Every little piece counts, and together, the more we talk about this, the more the podcast will grow and reach the people whose lives it's gonna change. Thank you so much for tuning in this week.
