About Liv
Liv is the brains behind Olivia Waters Couture. For Liv, her love of fashion started as a child – designing foil dresses for her dolls, then taking textile classes at high school. In her twenties, after an ill-chosen stint working in legal, Liv made a life-changing decision. She said goodbye to law and began a formal fashion education – Certificate IV in Garment Construction specialising in Couture, at the Melbourne Fashion Institute.
It was when hunting for her own wedding dress in 2014 that Liv spotted a gap in the market. Frustrated with all of the slips and lace wedding dresses that didn’t suit her curves, Liv had her wedding gown made to measure in a minimalist style she adores.
From here, an idea was born. Timeless, minimalist bridal designs. Made-to-order in Australia. A joy to shop for – online or in person. And environmentally minded practices that are kinder to our planet.
Today, Olivia Waters Couture exists to do exactly that and they are proudly one of Melbourne’s few bridal wear designers who:

Mellyrain Creative is a wedding planning and styling company and we specialize in designing luxe countryside weddings across regional Victoria. As the head wedding planner and stylist at Mellyrain Creative, her team continues to grow and assist in styling design as well as wedding day coordination and execution of styling set ups at weddings all over Victoria. Prior to weddings Mel worked in sport and entertainment events in Melbourne and she is obsessed with her golden retriever pup Duncan who you’ll see on the gram from time to time.
