And that's exactly what this listener did, so THANK YOU for that! This woman, 29, from LA, wrote in about a problem from a year or so ago, when she was still living in NYC. She matched with a guy on Hinge a few months before her move to LA, and things were going swimmingly (or so she thought) for their first few dates. He seemed great, they had a lot in common, they even trauma bonded over their toxic exes! She also took him to see Aziz Ansari, and then he didn't even text or reach out on her birthday shortly thereafter. Well wouldn't ya know it, he fell off the face of the earth. Ahhh tale as old as time. She texted him and asked what was going on, rightfully so, and turns out he went back to his toxic ex!
