Conversations with Bizzy
My name is Elizabeth, though most know me as Bizzy—a childhood nickname that reflects my vibrant, dynamic life, now centered around sobriety and helping others. After earning a degree in Communications from George Washington University/Mount Vernon College, I began my career at a CBS affiliate in Philadelphia and as a guest host at QVC, where I thrived in front of the camera and discovered my passion for public speaking. However, my love for drinking almost derailed everything.
Following a pivotal career shift and achieving sobriety, I became a certified Recovery Coach, driven to support others and break the stigma surrounding alcoholism. This passion led me to launch "Let’s Talk," where I shared my personal journey publicly. In addition to being a Recovery Coach, I am now also a certified Life Coach and Health and Wellness Coach, dedicated to helping others live their best lives.
With 18 years of sobriety, I continue to inspire and uplift through my podcast, Conversations with Bizzy, where share stories of hope and resilience. My logo, the Spoonbill, symbolizes the peace we all seek—a peace I believe is only possible through a higher power.

Episode 535 Healing from the Inside Out: Elizabeth Kipp on Pain, Prayer, and Finding Peace
In this week’s episode, I sit down with the incredibly inspiring Elizabeth Kipp, a woman whose story is nothing short of miraculous. Elizabeth opens up about her battle with chronic pain, her journey through addiction, and the long road to recovery that led her to a place of deep healing and peace.
We talk about what it’s like to feel dismissed by traditional medicine, how she found real relief through alternative healing practices, and why spirituality—and especially prayer—was a game-changer for her. Elizabeth shares how ancestral trauma and pain can follow us through generations, but also how we can break the cycle with awareness, intention, and support.
She gets real about the importance of self-talk, the power of community, and how she ultimately learned to trust her body’s ability to heal. And we dig into her powerful book, written from the heart for anyone who has ever felt trapped by chronic pain.
If you’ve ever struggled with physical pain, emotional wounds, or the feeling that doctors just don’t get it, this episode is for you. Elizabeth reminds us that healing is possible—and that we’re never alone on the journey.
