Conversations with Bizzy
My name is Elizabeth, though most know me as Bizzy—a childhood nickname that reflects my vibrant, dynamic life, now centered around sobriety and helping others. After earning a degree in Communications from George Washington University/Mount Vernon College, I began my career at a CBS affiliate in Philadelphia and as a guest host at QVC, where I thrived in front of the camera and discovered my passion for public speaking. However, my love for drinking almost derailed everything.
Following a pivotal career shift and achieving sobriety, I became a certified Recovery Coach, driven to support others and break the stigma surrounding alcoholism. This passion led me to launch "Let’s Talk," where I shared my personal journey publicly. In addition to being a Recovery Coach, I am now also a certified Life Coach and Health and Wellness Coach, dedicated to helping others live their best lives.
With 18 years of sobriety, I continue to inspire and uplift through my podcast, Conversations with Bizzy, where share stories of hope and resilience. My logo, the Spoonbill, symbolizes the peace we all seek—a peace I believe is only possible through a higher power.

Episode 538 How I Broke Free from Gaslighting and Learned to Trust Myself
In today’s episode, I’m diving into the complicated world of gaslighting — what it looks like, how it’s shown up in my life, and how I’ve learned to recognize and overcome it. I’m sharing personal experiences and the lessons they’ve taught me about living authentically, trusting myself, and moving past shame. We’ll talk about the role faith has played in my journey, why community support is so important, and how childhood experiences can shape the choices we make as adults. My hope is that today’s conversation reminds you that you’re not alone — and that living your truth, even in a judgmental world, is not only possible but essential. Let’s walk this journey together!
