As Dean, Malcolm has led the Episcopal cathedral (the third largest in the US) in its mission to reimagine church in the 21st century. Malcolm is the author of The Spiritual Journal of Henry David Thoreau and The Invisibile Hand in Wilderness: Economics, Ecology and God, and is a regular columnist for The San Francisco Examiner and a contributor to the Huffington Post.
