The Holy Spirit nudged my heart and said, “Now you are in a desperate situation, longing for others to pray for your wife and child. Yet many people have come to you in their desperation, asking for prayer—and although you promised to pray, you failed to do so.” That conviction pierced my heart. It reminded me how important it is to keep our word, especially when it comes to prayer.
