Part 1: Beauty In The Brokenness Of Pain
This week on the podcast we hear from Kritsy! She shares her story of being a foster parent who had hopes to adopt but that plan didn't work out. She shares of the heartbreak she encountered through the process. It was one of the hardest things she's ever done, but also one of the most rewarding.
Kristy has navigated feelings of self-doubt, regret, confusion, and more, and yet through it all she never questioned God's plan for her life.
"Sometime when you feel like you've heard the Lord give you direction in your life then you can think you know how that's going to look out...but you don't always get the result you want."
Even in the midst of things going very differently than they hoped and prayed for Kristy and her husband are able to hold on to the truth that God had a purpose in the way things were working out.
