Speaker 1:

Speaker 2:

Get ready to flush out the truth about toilet paper. That's right, toilet paper. Join us for an eye-opening interview with the owner of Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Port St Lucie. Welcome back everyone. This is Garfield Bone, Coho slash producer to show back in the studio with Matt Black Matt, how's it going today?

Speaker 3:

Another fabulous day. How about you?

Speaker 2:

I am blessed, I can't complain. So, matt, what toilet paper should I use?

Speaker 3:

Well, it really depends on what kind of issues you're having. So most people, of course, like the real thick, fluffy stuff. But if you have drain problems, if you have old cast iron, that heavier duty stuff can get caught inside the pipes and it really cause you some you know some stoppages and backups. So if you're having challenges either with a you know, not a very good flushing toilet, or if you have older pipes it seems to be you're getting backups and you want to use the thinner, more degradable toilet paper.

Speaker 2:

We're not going to call out no brands here, but you know what's the difference? I mean, if you use one thick one or 10 thin ones, doesn't it kind of work out the same, or it doesn't?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean, if you're going to set there and you know double and triple and quadruple up on the paper, then you know you're kind of defeating the purpose of using the thinner toilet paper. But it seems like it just degrades easier the thicker heavy duty stuff is. You know is takes longer to break down. So the thinner stuff, even if you are double or tripling up one it, it still seems to break down easier than what that thick stuff does. All of the stuff feels better.

Speaker 2:

I didn't want to get down to it, but what brand do you use it?

Speaker 3:

Actually, we use a Sam's brand, you Sam's brand.

Speaker 2:

Sam's Club, yeah, but that's I use that too. Those are the fluffy ones, though. Yeah, it's a little bit fluffy.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm saying it just depends if you have an issue Some have, you know, low quality flushing toilets and that paper will bind up in there.

Speaker 2:

Because I know like Scott's is like a little thinner right.

Speaker 3:

Yes, it is.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so for those people who got toilet issues, they may get to Scott, or you know, I think after COVID people had problems finding toilet paper. We'll get that big stack from Sam's and just keep a supply on hand. Listen, good stuff, you have a one for rest of the day. We'll see you in the next issue.

Speaker 3:

Sounds great. Yeah, good day.
