Wednesday Wisdom is a new podcast based on a popular Instagram series hosted by Ayo Sokale. Guests share their inspirational stories of success through brilliantly meandering conversations, all the while sharing pearls of wisdom on topics like representation and diversity.
Ayo Sokale is a BBC presenter, civil engineer and speaker on all things diversity, equality, sustainability and engineering. Ayo is working on her first book, which draws on her experiences of navigating the world as a black, female, autistic woman in STEM and using her coaching credentials to help anyone else who feels 'othered' in today's world to achieve their goals. She is currently a presenter on CBeebies 'Get Set Galactic' which is available on BBC iplayer.

Dr Kat Arney
Join me in conversation with award-winning science writer, broadcaster and public speaker Dr Kat Arney. She is the author of three books, the critically acclaimed Herding Hemingway's Cats: Understanding how our genes work, How to Code a Human, and Rebel Cell: Cancer, evolution and the science of life.
Kat holds a degree in natural sciences and a PhD in developmental genetics from Cambridge University, and has spent more than 15 years working in science journalism and communication. She was a key part of the science communications team at Cancer Research UK for more than a decade, co-founding the charity's award-winning Science Blog, and acting as a principal media spokesperson.
Today she is the founder and creative director of science communications consultancy First Create The Media, working with life sciences research organisations and companies all over the world to help them tell stories about their work to the audiences that matter.
Kat also presents the popular Genetics Unzipped podcast for The Genetics Society, and has fronted several BBC Radio 4 science documentaries including the series Ingenious, looking at the stories behind our genes, and Bug In The System, about the past, present and future of cancer.
