At his rock bottom, Cole decided he had to do something different to finally overcome his demons. Through therapy and an intensive mental health treatment program, he was able to learn self-compassion, mindfulness, and a multitude of other modalities that revolutionized his life. Empowered with these skill sets, Cole was able to win the battle against 30+ years of self-hatred, gay shame, codependency, depression, anxiety, and more.

This podcast is not just a story of overcoming struggles, but a testament to the power of resilience, self-compassion, and authenticity. It's a journey towards self-worth and happiness, and we invite you to join us on this journey. Cole Evans

Cole Evans is a successful sales professional, single dad of two dogs, and a lifelong lover of Star Trek. He was born and raised in St. Joseph, Missouri. After nine years in Dallas, he relocated to Austin for a fresh start on life and is currently working everyday to build the life he’s always wanted and deserves.

Cole has been through many ups and downs, but through it all remains positive and unstoppable. Having struggled for most of his life with depression and anxiety, he has been able to grow through and overcome these struggles through investing in therapy and mental health programs that taught him mindfulness and healthy coping skills. Having been deeply impacted by these positive changes in his life, Cole is a huge advocate for mental health and wellness.

As he continues to work to build his life of happiness and achievement, it is Cole’s goal to share his story and help others overcome their struggles through self-compassion.
