SPEAKER_01

This podcast was produced on the land of the Wurundry people of the cooler nation. Hello. Hello? Scott. Scott Love. Is your surname Love? Scott

Scott Love is Not A Porn Name

SPEAKER_01

Love. Scott Love. No middle name. That is a great name.

SPEAKER_00

Do you know what? It's a great name, and I always say if I was like a porn star or something, how there's time. The nut is name. The nut is carrier.

SPEAKER_01

I actually thought it may have been a porn name.

SPEAKER_00

No, no real name. Yeah. And if I was a doctor, I could have been Doctor Love. How amazing would that be? Do you know, do you ever seen um what's that movie with Eddie Murphy? Come on. Um no, it's not nothing bad. No, no, no, no. My parents have a dog and they called the dog Buddy, so it could be Buddy Love after the But I can't remember what the movie was from, but there was a character.

SPEAKER_01

One where he plays a thousand inappropriate characters. Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Love that. Yes, yes, yes. How good. So purposely got called the dog Buddy Love because of that movie.

SPEAKER_01

It sounds like got love. Like it's because it's Scott Love. It sounds like Jessica Melbourne's We Got Love. Oh yeah. I've heard We Scott Love. I've heard all the jokes. I feel like it's all fabulous at this point. Um

The Pope is Dead

SPEAKER_01

The Pope's dead. Don't know if you've heard it.

SPEAKER_00

Again. Do you know?

SPEAKER_01

And but but I'm living. But I was just like my boyfriend goes, Did you hear the Pope died? I said, Yeah, didn't he die a few years ago? I no, honestly, same. But I'm like, they always die. I can't say I'm keeping up with the Pope Dashians. Like, I have no idea. Because I was like, he died. What was his name? I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

I can't couldn't tell you. And then they'll the thing is they get them, and they get them when they're like 90. And so then they die, and then they're gonna get another one.

SPEAKER_01

But how good for that movie Conclave?

SPEAKER_00

I don't know what the hell that is.

SPEAKER_01

But I think came out what late last year. It's a fucking movie. About the Pope. About this whole the selection process. So it's very like Eurovision stuff. Do you think this is a PR stunt? Do you think I mean I wouldn't put anything past that fucking institution. But um no, now they get into like national final season, they have to start putting forward their best, you know, butting pokes. It could be like the X Factor for Popes. It pretty much is. But honestly, yeah, well done to whoever made that film because they timed it really well. People will be tuning, people will be streaming that hard to know mainly to know like what goes on behind the scenes in those until the next one dies. We did have and

Live Show Was Cute

SPEAKER_01

to happen over Easter, like girl, I mean the time. That's what I'm saying.

SPEAKER_00

Is this a PR start? Yeah, I reckon. I don't think it's real.

SPEAKER_01

It was a PR start for my live show, which we had last Friday. Which was fabulous. Thank you, darling. Thanks for coming. Absolutely. We've got a support. Great to see you there. And the dolls. We had a lot of fun. Yep.

SPEAKER_00

Um you had a good turnout.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it was fun. I think, you know, for a public holiday during the comedy festival.

SPEAKER_00

I don't know. Yeah, you were yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But I am looking forward to doing more. So you need to do more. Keep your ears peeled, uh dear listener. Because I reckon we'll chuck some more on. I would absolutely go back to the railway. It's great. That ballroom was beautiful. The staff were gorgeous. I had the most lovely sound person. Was both terrified and excited by the content of the podcast. And at the end they came up to me and they're like, Yeah, the railway did I know what it then. I don't think I got any of that part. Especially when um You guys seem to love it.

SPEAKER_00

When uh who was the amazing drag queen that performed? Zelda Moon. Zelda Moon. Like, you know, he was probably just like, okay. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I do love that. Like, you never know how it's gonna go with a soundie. Sometimes they're like super queer and wacky, and they just don't even care. And sometimes it is like the most the most heterosexual man in the world, and they will be like, Oh yeah, so uh what's all this? And you have to be like, girl, you don't need to know, you just make me sound good. Yeah, this isn't a bro podcast, yeah, exactly. Don't and I don't need your casual judgment, you do that everywhere else in this universe. So shut up.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, well, you were a natural on the stage, by the way.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, not her first rodeo, but yeah, I reckon we will definitely do.

SPEAKER_00

And I keep telling you, you need to do Housewives in Melbourne recast live on stage.

SPEAKER_01

This was another exciting thing. I love this idea, and I think we'll do it. You have to um, yeah, why not? I think fluron. Because there's a f bit of a lull coming, like after this season finishes, I don't really know what to cover. There's nothing, yeah. Nothing wrong. I've had a few people season 75 a drag race or something you can cover. Let me know. My DMs are open if you want me to cover something. I've had a few people say they want me to do Love Triangle on Stan, which I haven't. I I watched the first two minutes and I was like, but I will push through.

SPEAKER_00

Is there someone that was maths on that one?

SPEAKER_01

Yes, which is such a cheap and because like nine own stan. So it's so like obviously they've just gone through the like the roller decks of psycho-toxic men, and they're like, What's Johnny doing, or whatever the fuck his name is? Paul. Is it Paul?

SPEAKER_00

I think it's Paul.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Like, I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

Where he was on the beach and he's like, Yeah, um, do you not know who I am? Yeah, yeah. I was on maths. I'm a big deal.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, he's like the angry ball. Tim Sims, never heard of him. He's so Tim Sims. But look, I'll give it a shot. Um, probably not every, but I reckon like we'll we'll bundle that one. A la below deck. Yeah. I've been doing that every four episodes, which is turning out.

SPEAKER_00

How many have got to go with below deck?

SPEAKER_01

One more part. One more. Yeah. Which will be out at the end of the season.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And then yeah, who knows? We'll just do whatever.

SPEAKER_00

Look, Housewise in Melbourne, it needs to happen.

SPEAKER_01

It does. It's always worth a rewatch. I'm always re-watching it anyway. Oh my god. So and it's so crazy, everyone I know is. So I'm like, exactly, but I'm like, make more.

SPEAKER_00

I know.

SPEAKER_01

Honestly.

SPEAKER_00

Because that season five was trocious.

SPEAKER_01

I hard disagree. Yeah. Listen to my recap episode of season five, and uh I rediscovered it recently. Go re-watch it. It's good.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

It's a COVID season of a show.

SPEAKER_00

It's just, I know, but it was just it was lacking that energy of Eugenas and your Lydia's the big personalities. We had Janet. Oh, I think.

SPEAKER_01

And Sean Julian. Who can we just say Jillian is causing chaos in the city? Without even without even in it. And I am the wa her impact on this show this week. I was like, girl, how are you the main character?

SPEAKER_00

But also not there. Clutching at straws if like someone is in not even in it and she's like saving this fucking series.

SPEAKER_01

She is though. Yeah. Yeah. I'm hearing all kinds of things. Like, I think I have decided that I really like this season.

SPEAKER_00

I do as well. Like, honestly,

The Real Housewives of Sydney S03E09 Recap

SPEAKER_00

look, Sid I'm such a slut for Sydney Housewives. Season one, I rewatch that every six months. The best. It is the best. Season two. I think because I was such a diehard season one fan, it took me a second. Oh, but this really was a rough spot. This season, it's good, but let's be honest, Terry and uh Chrissy are like you know, carrying this season.

SPEAKER_01

Fuck yeah. I've gotta give a big shout out to my girl Martine. Because she has come in, she has pulled no punches, she has just gone, do you know what, guys? Like I'm gonna be a little wrecking ball, a little petite wrecking ball. And I gotta say, loving it. And A plus for the uh the vulnerability backstory today. I know. Because can I say I was like, oh, finally we get a little peep into the behind the curtain of Martine, and now we now it all makes sense.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I know that's the thing, right? If we'd known this from the beginning, and I also love I get you don't want to I know, but it just sort of clicked for me, and I'm really warming to her now because of that.

SPEAKER_01

Um You mean click clicked for you, meaning uh now we feel bad because we know that the mum's dead.

SPEAKER_00

Well, yeah, but like, but I'm there with you. I feel so bad. I'm like, right? It now everything makes sense up to this point as to why she was the way she was, she was so sort of secretive and not really giving a lot because she had a lot going on outside of the show. I know. Um and I understand if she doesn't want to bring that into the show, she wants to keep it separate, but it l it makes so much more sense knowing that that's what had happened.

SPEAKER_01

It did, and we yeah, we love some trauma on our screens. And I know it's tough for the cast, but at the end of the day, it is helpful for the viewing audience who can like connect. A lot of people have shared like grief stories around losing a parent, and I think it's really helpful, and I'm sure that Martinez received an outpouring of love from people being like, babe, like I understand, da da da. So, like I think it's always worth doing. Yeah. Plus, if it's gonna explain some questionable behaviour, and it makes you relate and it makes her more relatable.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, you know, because there's a few on there that I'm like not very relatable. Oh, you mean the oh no, I mean, look, I'm all about the lunchbox influencing you.

SPEAKER_01

I love the bento of it all.

SPEAKER_00

I wish I had her problems.

SPEAKER_01

Right. The way I cut my carrots is the stressful part of my day. The darling point problems, darling. Yeah, those crinkle cut carrots are serving. I want to be her child. Absolutely. Yeah. I also love her aversion to aging. She's like it's very stressful. She's like, no, no, no. We don't do stress.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it's very it's it's too much, it's aging. Yeah. Which yeah. And look, if you had those problems, you know, I'd be stressed too. Which lunchbox am I gonna use today?

SPEAKER_01

Should we just hop straight in? Let's do it. We're already there. So we're already there. But this episode was called Faux from Head to Toe. And last week ended with an iconic fight at the Sydney Tower between Terry and Caroline. The glove was off, uh, and we had uh the iconic line from Caroline, you're irrelevant, and then Terry batting back a I'm irrelevant, you're a hypocrite.

SPEAKER_00

Can I tell you I've rewatched that about 10 times? Just those last 30 minutes of that last episode. I I need it needs to be studied.

SPEAKER_01

It does.

SPEAKER_00

It was incredible.

SPEAKER_01

It was great. Yeah. This is what we want. Like I was like, no notes. In fact, I would have preferred I don't know, director's cut, but just the raw footage, extended mix. Just pop it on YouTube, just the whole thing.

SPEAKER_00

But don't you think with this season, this is maybe part of the the problem with this season, because there isn't many, but there you know, there there's positives and negatives, is that there's a lot of episodes that I felt have been a bit filler. Yeah where just going around in circles with the saying, oh you were late to do the fucking restaurant in Japan or whatever. Yeah, yeah. And the fact that we still have not got all eight women in the same room in at all this season, but then you get those moments of where everything builds up and it escalates like it did, and that's what we want. Yeah, right? But it's just then you go back to filler again, where this episode there was a lot happened, but then not a lot happened.

SPEAKER_01

Well, that's the whole theme of the season, right? And it's like this is why I'm living for Martin because she's bringing fresh issues to the table. Because if we didn't have her, literally we would still be at I don't know, Nicole was late, and like this was like the most petty shit between the girlies, and like we love the we love the petty shit. Yeah, but we also want fresh petty shit, right? Like put it to bed, move on. That's what the Melbourne girlies did so well, right?

SPEAKER_00

They knew they they knew the assignment, they would come in, they would have the petty shit, they would have the fight. Shake it off, shake it off, even if they didn't mean it, but just for the camera, they would move on and then on to the next thing.

SPEAKER_01

Because you're telling me at the Sydney Tower after this fight that they uh right afterwards they didn't just like burst out into giggles. Like I would. I'd be like, girl, that was great. Absolutely, high fives.

SPEAKER_00

And can you and also I'll say just before when I was saying Terry's carrying the season, this isn't Terry's first rodeo. Oh, big. Because people forget she was in Wagnation, the OG housewife.

SPEAKER_01

So people are coming to me with all kinds of because you you know, I'm not a Sydney girly, so I'm not down with her. She's a big deal there, she's kind of like, yeah, you know, she's a wag, and she's been on the social scene and for some time. So I'm loving that we have her with this, you know, whether it's real or not, she believes it. Yeah, so she's walking around with this like big dick energy.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and I love it. But she knows it's the assignment, it's what is needed. Your housewife, bring it.

SPEAKER_01

Exactly. And the looks uh honey.

SPEAKER_00

Absolutely incredible. Like my love.

SPEAKER_01

I love the I love the hair. She's just, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

She's just doing a lot. She knows what she's doing. She does. Um I'd like to see a bit more of her husband on this show. Just visually. Well, just with no top on.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, honestly, any of the husbands, bring them on. Yeah. But yes, particularly. What's his name? Anthony. Anthony Minichello. We start this episode, though, with a little montage. We get Kate doing what she does best at the Bondi vet. We get Victoria jumping horses. More relatable. Yeah. And Martine hanging out with her Gorgy chubby pug baby Ernie.

SPEAKER_00

I'm she's gotta go to the gym. She's gotta get a get a gym in.

SPEAKER_01

Uh and then jump scare cut to Sally with Banks.

SPEAKER_00

Sponsored by Swish and Price Line.

SPEAKER_01

Like, so she was talking about Swish and Price Line, which so Priceline. I was like, sorry, Janet, we're not at the end. We're not coming to the house anymore. But then I was trying to pay attention, but those bangs were distracting, girl. Did she get it done in the city? She wasn't gonna be done in the two days she was in London. She went to London with a suitcase full of Swish and a dream, and someone said, You're right, love. You want to get a little haircut. And she went sure.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and then she was back. This whole episode was sponsored by Swish, and then she was back before she even left.

SPEAKER_01

Swish swish. And there was no explanation for the bang. It was just there, and it he punched me in the face. Yeah, I was gooped and gagged.

SPEAKER_00

She looked great though.

SPEAKER_01

Fantastic. Uh Sally is present.

SPEAKER_00

I love Sally in this season.

SPEAKER_01

She, when the role was being called, she said here. Yeah. Because last season she she was not here.

SPEAKER_00

Well, I think again, first season for her, she's used to a different type of television, but now she understands what she needs to bring. You know?

SPEAKER_01

Oh, that's right, because she was a TV presenter. She was a TV presenter. Yeah, and that's very like And she's got a book as well. Did you know? She's actually kind of can't. Like I love Sally. She Yeah, she's used to being in charge. Yeah. And so for a lot of those people, it's kind of like Angela Rao. My my secret obsession. I fucking love her. She was the same. Like I think coming on as a TV presenter, she was like, I'm gonna, this is my show. Yeah. And then the producers were like, No, darling, this is our show, and we're gonna stitch you up hard with the credenza.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah. No, I love, but also just back to that priceline scene, the girl who was clearly just she was like, This is my moment. Yeah. Yeah. To shine. To hand that from Priceline.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Shine Shine. Yeah. Next up, uh, Caroline and Nicole are catching up, and Caroline's sorry, Carol is a little bit hungover, a little bit hung over. She needs a bloody Mary, which I'm like, fuck yes. Uh woman after my own heart. And then she goes, Look, I've just been up all night drinking wine and venting to my ex-husband who's just come back from Pompeii. Where the fuck is Pompeii? Can you tell me? Italy. Isn't it like the volcano that erupts?

SPEAKER_00

I thought you said Bombay originally. I was like, Isn't it the town that is it Mount Vesuvius?

SPEAKER_01

I have no idea. I'm pretty sure it's the town that got fucked up by a volcano dog. Which is everything about that sentence was there was a lot to unpack. And uh why are you drinking wheels? He is the external. You picked him up from the airport, and then I'm like, poor bloke. Yeah, I know. Imagine you're back from like a long haul flight from Europe. A lot of travel to Europe this week. Probably. And then you've got your ex being like, Look, I know that you've just got off the plane, but I need to talk at you at length about this dumb bitch called Terry. Terry Dapdor who has threatened me with one glove. Um I like, yeah. Yeah. I'm like, next time just call me, Carolyn. Yeah. I'll listen. Carol. I love it. Like, Chris must have been busy. Chris is all loved up now, have you seen? I have, yes. Yeah. With the ex-Melbourne gay Stephen, what's his name? I don't know. He used to be a Melbourne gay now. He lives in Sydney. I'm enjoying their sexy pics on Instagram.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, were they just in Bali? Yes. Yes, yes, yes, yes. I did see that. I did do a little store. Because you do a little gay instance. We love Chris on the pod. Yeah. She's the friend. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Caroline says, I've never been on a bus.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, neither.

SPEAKER_01

When they're trying to be relatable, then they say things like this. I do giggle. And I also think like I mean, have you been on a bus in Sydney? Yeah. It's the only way to fucking get around in Sydney. But you're right, they're not, yeah. It's not chic, darling. But we will do it. But I think she needs to leave this like out-of-touch rich lady personality for Montano. That's her shtick. Carol, you stick with big teen pinchy runways. Yeah. Being pitchy, but like not, yeah, low blows. Stick to your knitting. Yeah. Then we see Terry, Kate, and Sally at Sally's place. She's made a lovely cheese board. Sally's house. Where is it?

SPEAKER_00

Well, they were on, they were walking along the cliff front, I thought.

SPEAKER_01

I just assume all of Sydney's like Double Bay. A cliff front. Yeah, like for clues. Yes. They're all Eastern Suburb styles. Yeah, yeah. No. So I mean, if they don't fucking tell you every five minutes, did you know? Darling Point, did you know?

SPEAKER_00

I thought it was Blacktown.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, right. You wouldn't know with those drone shots of the harbour. They talk about uh egg freezing, and then Jillian Gillies must be haunting everyone. Because she appears in the form of uh a jewelry snatcher. Yeah, yeah. So she's not dead.

SPEAKER_00

Like it's like a she's still alive.

SPEAKER_01

I honestly, I'm like Terry, I think some of your jewelry might be a bit cheap, though. Sponsored by Diva. Yeah, it's like she's trying to blame Gillian Gillies.

SPEAKER_00

And I'm like, can we Her gay stylist is is getting sheen jewelry.

SPEAKER_01

Can we up the ante on like the those like clasps? Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Maybe get some Kmart hoops.

SPEAKER_01

Or is it because she's Italian and she's got the hands going the joke? You know what I mean? Like I too would knock off my large hoop earrings with my hands. Yeah. So look.

SPEAKER_00

Do you think that the the egg freezing thing, that whole IVF storyline, do you think this is legit or for the show? Because I'm not sure.

SPEAKER_01

I think it's legit. However, I do love that Terry's more excited about it than Kate. Like Katie's like, yeah. It's like Terry dragged Kate there. And she was like, okay. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Which is why I'm thinking, is this for the show? Just to do a bit of a storyline.

SPEAKER_01

Well, when I had Kate on this very pod last year to talk about F Poet Island, go back and listen to that episode. Throw back. Uh she mentioned then that she was doing it freezing. Just off the card.

SPEAKER_00

Well, this was filmed at the end of the year. Probably film around then, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And it didn't seem so no, and she was really excited about it. Okay. So I don't know. I think she wants to do it. I think it's more like a backup plan. Yeah. Because you know, you get to a certain age. Of course. And you want to prepare for all scenarios. So I get that. I don't think she wants to have a kid right in a second. Even though Terry's pushing hard. Yeah. Um cut to Martine and Victoria having a relatable Kiki. Yeah. They're just relaxing. Martine's uh mother has sadly passed. Condolences to Martine. And they're catching up with some uh Manny's and a bit of a goss. But I like the shots of the shoes. I did.

SPEAKER_00

We lingered on the shoes. Um and obviously, like they said, you know, um they don't like the tension because tension is aging. I love that. Yeah, I agree.

SPEAKER_01

It's very, it's like an extension of all of Victoria Montano's great lines from last season. Remember, she was like, oh no, I don't do it.

SPEAKER_00

What are your thoughts on Victoria?

SPEAKER_01

Well, famously, she's my favourite. I uh love Montano because she's so consistently unhinged. Like she she's leaning into the rich bitch character, and I love that. Yeah, and she's been doing it from minute one and up to it. It's her brand. It's just who she is, I think. And I love that. Yeah. Voyeurism and fabulousness was her line from last season. And when she said that, I was like, yeah, doll.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. That's why we're all here. The only thing with her that I find sometimes is you know, you've got to be relatable. And I just think sometimes you're pushing the boundary of you're not. Oh, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

No one, no one, like I'm the single I'm the treasurer and secretary of the Montana fan club. I understand that. And there's not many members.

SPEAKER_00

Did you get your hat yet?

SPEAKER_01

No, I did not. If you're listening, please send me the hat. So look, that could all change. By the end of the season, I could hate her.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Well, there's only one episode left.

SPEAKER_01

True, thank God.

SPEAKER_00

I'm tired.

SPEAKER_01

Oh um. She explains that Nicole apologised for not coming to the healing session with Gillian. And um they gush over Nicole's grace and beauty. This is a real like Nicole ask his session. I'm like, oh, but Nicole's just such a classic.

SPEAKER_00

I mean Victoria, like Nicole. Have you seen Nicole, Victoria, and Chrissy doing a cooking show on YouTube? Fuck off. Have you seen that? No. But it's iconic. Let's leave Lydia. Thank you. I really want to do one of her cooking classes. I keep saying to my boyfriend, can we go and do one? Let's get a deal. Let's do it. Let's do a double date.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, I honestly I've been waiting. I've yeah, I'm so ready.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, Victoria is the um mayor of the um Nicole fan club, so she's always going to be supporting.

SPEAKER_01

Exactly. Yeah. Back to the other ladies. Uh they're pretty much having the same conversation about the tennis day, uh, but their conversation's more about the drama. Victoria and Martine's conversation is more about how b shit they all were at tennis. Yeah. Did we even see them play tennis? We did, but like, I don't know. I didn't pay attention to that bit. I was like, oh no.

SPEAKER_00

No one can beat season one Housewives of Melbourne. You can't beat that. On my $50,000 tennis. Exactly. With your man shoes.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so good. Uh Nicole in Confessional, because that's kind of the only place she lives now. Yeah. In that she's getting the paycheck.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, good for you. She's paying for the god.

SPEAKER_01

In the pearl dress, she goes, uh, she tells us that if you lay with dogs, you're mad to get fleas. She's very itchy. And that should have been her tagline. Yeah. Way better than that. Yeah. What was it? I never when you're a classic lag of me.

SPEAKER_00

Honey, you're going out of style.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and it's I feel for Nicole, because if the rumors are true, she was under the impression Terry was not going to be cast on this season. And I think she was like, great, I can do that. I can autopilot in the BG, get my patches out there, give Joe Bailey a call, Bob's your uncle. But then, you know, in comes the biv. In comes the fucking biv, and I think she got her wig snatched a little bit by production. But also grow up.

SPEAKER_00

But this is part, this is again, this is what you signed up for. Because do you know what? I used to love Nicole season one. I loved what she was about. You know, she was no fucks given. She was 1A all the time. And I loved that about her. But I think when you take away her, because you know, season two coming in, you've only got Chrissy to kind of back her up. She kind of lost a lot of that support she had from you know Victoria Reese. Yeah. From um what was her? Fully booked. What was her name? Fully booked.

SPEAKER_01

Maddie Samurai.

SPEAKER_00

Maddie Maddie. You know, she lost that support system.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. I want some cameos from the season one, ladies. How is that not happening?

SPEAKER_00

Victoria Reese is the reason I only drink for Casoda Lion now. A skinny bitch.

SPEAKER_01

They need to. Yeah, I think a Maddie Samai. Cameo would be good.

SPEAKER_00

Even throw in a Melissa.

SPEAKER_01

And Athena X? Get Melissa, get Melissa to do a little number. Yeah, surely she's doing the gay bars. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I don't know. She did um Sydney. She did like Mardi Gras recently, I think. Yeah. Yeah. Did a little medley of sexy is the word. So good.

SPEAKER_01

Victoria says there wasn't enough booze in the Pims and Lemonade to chill the girlies out. And I think they needed something even harder than that in their head together. They needed like just meth at this point. Like they need something stronger. A bit of heroine. Yeah, just really like get them there. You know? Yeah. Because otherwise, yeah, maybe they need to go on like an ayahuasca trip together. Oh, can you imagine? Instead of Jackie. Yeah. But Kate tells us that the centre of the beef between her and Caroline is really because at the reunion, and we get a little reunion flashback, which I was like, thank you. She was accused of shedding fake tears, which she assures were real tears. I think they were. Because they were about her. I think they were real. Late father. And again, so theme of this week my grief is more important than your grief. I feel like that's the theme. Yes. Right? It's like when really they all should be having a fucking kumbaya over it. It's something they could bond over. And it's just, I think it's just because there's yeah, there's other issues, passive aggressive shit's been brewing. And then now it's like, oh, you're allowed, you're allowed to get some grace for grieving, but I'm not. And then Caroline's also, you know, in the process of losing a parent. It's all really raw. Yeah. And unfortunately, it's kind of awkward to navigate while you're producing a TV show.

SPEAKER_00

Do you also think that there is maybe more going on behind the scenes that we are not aware of? 100%. Because we know that things, something happened this season during filming where there was a HR incident. Yeah. That doesn't look to me is ever going to be brought up.

SPEAKER_01

No. So things are happening off stage. Everything is happening off stage. I know, and it's so annoying. And it's like the texts, it's like, oh, she texted me this. She didn't text me that. I'm like, God. I want to see the text. Stop texting each other. Yeah, either brush it up on screen or shut up about the text and just tell each other stuff to their faces.

SPEAKER_00

Because Beverly Hills are great at doing that. They always use any footage like media, social TMZ online. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

They need to either do that and lean in and like get really petty with the receipts, or the girlies need to just start talking to each other.

SPEAKER_00

And I'm sure that Intercontinental has um CCTV footage. Stop. See, why aren't you working on this show? Binge call me. Season four.

SPEAKER_01

You would be straight, you would be like at the intercon going, hello, I'm uh I'm Scott Love from Binge. Um there's been an incident. We're gonna need your you just like flash a badge. Yeah. Like we're gonna need to see the footage from 9 pm on 20th of May 2024 or whatever it all fucking was. And they're like, well, of course, yeah, right this way, so why didn't Binge think of that? Girl. Just saying. Just saying. Back to uh the girlies, more jewelry pops off, more Gillian. Gillian's back again. I just love that she's there. She's carrying this season. And then uh Caroline and Nicole are catching up, and Caroline is hurting with the situation with her mum. So again, we're getting more context, more backstory. Everyone's going through some shit. It's relatable. It is, and it gave me more ability to empathize with Caroline because again, like Martine, there was some behaviour that I was just like, what?

SPEAKER_00

Are you okay?

SPEAKER_01

Turns out they're not okay. That makes sense. Yeah, so I understand that. Yep. Nicole says Martine's mother's passing means that emotions are raw and heightened within the group because everyone's kind of thinking about their own grief. Kate and Martine catch up. Um, and I loved this, by the way. This was good, but Martine needs to practice what she preaches. I think I love she's one of those people that's like really good at giving advice, but like not taking her own. Yeah. Because she's like, yeah, look, everyone's really different, and like you've just gotta kind of embrace everyone's differences. I'm like, says you storming out of a margarita bar, but we now know why.

SPEAKER_00

You know, she's going through a lot, you know, off camera. That now makes sense. I love this scene with Kate and Martine, and I want to see more of this. I think with Martine, maybe one of the things that has been a negative is that she's been paired with Victoria all the time, and we haven't really been able to see Martine come out of a shell and be her own person. Yeah. And I would love to see a little bit more of the Kate Martine friendship, and sort of, you know, then Kate can kind of bring Martine into the group, and you know what I mean, with the other girls in a different way. Um, and I just yeah, I just think I would love to see a little bit more of it because we I felt like we've we got it to know Martine a little bit more just in this one scene.

SPEAKER_01

Totally, and I I like that. She loves the lunchbox, loves lunchbox, she's gonna become an influencer. I like her friendship with Kate because they're kind of quirky girlies. Yes, they're a little bit on the outs with the group, so I think that's why they're bonding uh both animal lovers too. But it is, yeah, with Martine's advice, I was a bit like do as I say, not as I do, kind of thing. Anyway, uh from one margarita to another.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, I was gonna say we've left the margarita bar, we've got another margarita. So margarita should only be pointing to audition for season four.

SPEAKER_01

This I could tell thirstier than me at a margarita bar. What wow, yeah, where did they find this bitch? Well, I googled her today. Please tell me that has half a million followers on Instagram. You've done a deep dive.

SPEAKER_00

She's got a podcast.

SPEAKER_01

Fuck.

SPEAKER_00

Of course she does. Everyone's got a podcast.

SPEAKER_01

How dare she be?

SPEAKER_00

I know, better than I. And also, can I just say Caroline's dress in the scene? You know those shopping bags that your mum used to have, like the black netted fishnet shopping bags? Yeah, that that's what Caroline's dress was giving that sort of fish. That's I love that.

SPEAKER_01

But like, yeah, this woman was thirsty. Oh, she was like, she was like, and everything she said was such shit. Like it was like TikTok. It was very Mel Robins. Yeah, it was like, oh, this you're being a golden retriever, or you're not. I'm like, oh, you someone else has watched I Kissed a Girl with Danny Minoke. Get Danny on this one. Also covered on this pod. But fucking the golden retriever when she said that I got I get shut up. Shut the fuck up. Silly woman. Yeah. But like, great, and Caroline's face trying to take it seriously and trying to act like, oh yeah, I've just been casually seeing this woman.

SPEAKER_00

No, you have not. No, you haven't. No. You went on a podcast once, production of Corder, because we're clutching at straws for a storyline at episode.

SPEAKER_01

And we're clutching for viewership, I think. Exactly. But anyway, I did enjoy it this staged scene. Back to Kate Martine. Martine asks how she's going with Carol. And this is where we get the moment. Where she goes, Well, do you know what? Funny you should say that, Martin. I've been doing some spelunking. From digging. I've done the distance. She's done her research. She's done her research. Turns out she's as fake as every fucking handbag she owns, which was the mic drop line of the whole season.

SPEAKER_00

I was seated. Firmly. Oh, it was so good. But then also I felt like the preview for this was giving more than what it actually ended up being. Yeah. You know? Yeah, totally. Yeah. It's like you did a Google. Great.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but she didn't go to uni or something. It's literally nothing. It's like her name's different, which is like whatever. Yeah. And then something like her uni's different, which is so whatever. But I can't wait for it's the pettiness of doing the Googling that is rubbing her. I mean, we've all done it though, let's be honest. Also, also, well done, Dr. Kate. You understand the assignment of this shot. Yes. Because that's the kind of stunt, that's the kind of gaggery that the gays want. Exactly. So thank you. And I love that it's rubbed Chrissy the wrong way as well later on. Um back to Margie. She's talking so much.

SPEAKER_00

She's still giving her uh TikTok, you know, spiel.

SPEAKER_01

It's Priceline and this woman at this point. Oh, and Shopo coming up. Oh my god, they've really crammed it in with the placements. Sally catches up with her pal Jane, who can we get Jane on the shop?

SPEAKER_00

I was gonna say the same thing. I I love I know this girl from TikTok. Oh, I always see her on TikTok.

SPEAKER_01

I love that everyone is from TikTok.

SPEAKER_00

I don't care about she. I think she's on Shark Tank. Oh really? Yeah, she's one of the sharks on Shark Tank.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, you're joking. She looked familiar. Oh, see, she's a business. She's a business woman. And of course that's on 10, so they weren't like singing about that. Yeah. I want to see her on the show.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I agree.

SPEAKER_01

Is she almost too?

SPEAKER_00

I think it's probably she's something not famous, but like, I don't know, too busy. I think she's got her own thing going on. She's on Shark Tank. She's probably her brand is very businesswoman, very like TikTok relatable. I just don't know if this would fit in with her brand.

SPEAKER_01

Is that from Shark Tank? Yeah, get her on. She's so good.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Yeah. And her story's amazing, actually. Like she was a lawyer and then started Chopo in her garage. And now it's like this multi-billion dollar company. How good. Yeah, good honor. Bit bloody random that she's friends with Sally.

SPEAKER_01

Well, it made sense because Sally needs a little bit of uh encouragement from her gal pal. Yeah. This is giving like she EO meeting, and it was very like um yes, I'm going to go on to the this is just like this storyline with being like clutching at straws.

SPEAKER_00

Also, Sally's outfit was like you remember Madonna in like desperately seeking suits, and that's what I thought it was. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I thought she looked calm.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and then they're really leveling it up with the outfits. They are all the looks of looking at every scene, they're bringing it.

SPEAKER_01

She also probably asked Jane at some point during this, so what do you reckon? Should I get bangs? Yeah. And Jane was like, Yeah, you do you. Yeah, do you bang? Yeah, yeah. And we just didn't see that bit. But if Jane told me to get bangs, I would do it. Absolutely. She knows what's up. But she is TikTok.

SPEAKER_00

Famous, you know?

SPEAKER_01

She knows what's going on with the kids. Sally says Martine lives in a bubble. A gorgeous.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, I wish I lived in fucking Martine's bubble, let's be honest.

SPEAKER_01

Stunning. And then cut to her being a lunchbox influencer.

SPEAKER_00

The the stress of her. I wish that I had the stress of should I cut these uh carrots like crinkle cut fries?

SPEAKER_01

Oh good. Those kids are so spoiled. I love it. And yeah, I want to send Martine some like uh bento mums in Japan that I follow. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Because there's some great stuff happening over there. Yeah, she could she there's a niche there for Martine.

SPEAKER_01

Like like crinkle cut carrots is just the beginning. Yeah. There is a world waiting for you, Martine. Yeah. All kinds of shit. Yeah. Yeah. I'm excited for her journey. And I look forward to seeing more. Martine spills to Kate that well, she doesn't really spill, she sort of does a bit of backpedaling here. She's like, so remember that whole thing about maturation? Which this word just kills me. But the whole thing about you have your kids, and then that's the only way you can ever wriggle out of childhood yourself, or whatever Jordan Peterson has to say. Which I had to Google that one. Yeah, same. I was like, just another, just I miss you. Another Mel Roller. Another white man on the microphone. Yeah. You're welcome. But she says that she didn't bring it up and that Chrissy brought up was the culprit, which I was like, ooh, you are big. She's playing daddy. She really does love absolving herself of all responsibility. And I love that. She says, No, not me. I just added some I'm just very well researched, so I thought I'd just contribute some research to Chrissy's the one that really was shit stirring. And then she's almost trying to say that Chrissy's been kind of excluding Kate almost, or like making Kate feel on the outs because she's the only one that's not amongst the colour. Didn't have keys. Is that kind of the subtext here?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I think so.

SPEAKER_01

She was trying to say that without saying.

SPEAKER_00

Yes. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Do we think that's the case? 100%. Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_00

I think I think so.

SPEAKER_01

Chrissy is a bit like, you know, she's chewy.

SPEAKER_00

But again, chew back up. But again, Chrissy understands the assignment rather than. You know? And she's no, she's unapologetic. Yeah. And I love her for it.

SPEAKER_01

And she's just back from Europe. She couldn't get the just for fun all the way there, but she hired another book.

SPEAKER_00

Do you think she was on holiday with Chica on one of her three-month Europe trips with the girl husband?

SPEAKER_01

She would have name-dropped Chica along with Mark Zuckerberg. And the what was the uh The Dallas Cowboys? Dallas Cowboys. I was like, okay. Yeah. Yeah. That was great. Chrissy's fucking rich, hey.

SPEAKER_00

And she's like actually rich.

SPEAKER_01

Remember they asked her an Ep One and she went, I'm not talking about that. And now, but but she's very happy to tell us she's in the same tax bracket as Mark Zuckerberg. Yeah. Which you know in America is uh don't pay any tax please, you're too busy being a billionaire.

SPEAKER_00

And have you seen Chrissy does outfit of the day TikToks every day as well? Amazing. They're great.

SPEAKER_01

After lunch with the girls! Oh Johnny. Johnny. Oh my first drink of the day.

SPEAKER_00

Oh I want Chrissy's life. Me too. That house. Lunch with the girlies.

SPEAKER_01

So it's maturation gate. Now. Which is like, okay. Sure.

SPEAKER_00

That'll be hot. That'll be all of season four.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, all of season four is gonna be. So John and Peterton, actually, his real name is James. It's like, okay. Kate's like, maybe I'm an alien. Because she doesn't really want to have kids. And then I mean, same.

SPEAKER_00

It's why the fuck would you?

SPEAKER_01

Exactly. And then we get the best cut to crazy adventures of Auntie Kate with the nephew. This was so good.

SPEAKER_00

Like when she threw him in the ball pit and was like go drown or something. I was like, that would be me.

SPEAKER_01

And then Terry rocks up to be like, aren't you just having so much fun? And Kate's like, no, this is contraceptive.

SPEAKER_00

That looked like torture. I was in Kohl's yesterday. It was like Chadston's. Was it at Chatty? No, it like felt like it felt like Legoland at the Chadstone. You know, in Chadston, they've got the kids area where you chuck them when you go shopping. It felt like that. Um, I was at Cole's yesterday, and we me and my partner saw this guy with two kids, and the kids were screaming and they're throwing the groceries out the trolley, and I'm like, that looks like actual hell. Yeah. Why the fuck would you want to do that? What were the parents doing? He was just like, you know, trying to do it. Were they just dissociating? Was not paying attention.

SPEAKER_01

When you see a parent like that and they just look like they are strawling.

SPEAKER_00

Like that looks like hell. So again, and do you know this reminded me of season one when um Maddie did the babysitting for the dogs? It was giving that. Yeah, yes, totally. Yeah, yeah. It was like we just need to fill a scene, so we'll just give someone something to babysit.

SPEAKER_01

No, it was perfect. I have no notes for this scene. It was kooky, it was like doo-doo, like great.

SPEAKER_00

Also, love that you got a driver. She's like, I'm not driving.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, she's driving. I don't think Kate drives. I think she's like me. She's like, Oh my god, I'm saying I'm five. Passions are princesses already.

SPEAKER_00

I've never driven a car in my life. I have no desire. Look at me. I'm the same. Beautiful to drive. I I get driven, I do not drive.

SPEAKER_01

Exactly. Yeah, thank you. And don't let anyone So she doesn't drive. Okay, that makes sense why she's got to drive then. I mean, I think so. Wasn't at a point of last season. Oh maybe it wasn't her, it was someone else. I think Caroline doesn't drive. Someone doesn't. And they brought it Terry doesn't drive. Terry, which shake.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, yeah, can relate. Love it.

SPEAKER_01

I think it's such a yeah hot person flex. But anyway. But fuck, don't you get it all the time though as well? Especially being like in Australia. People just like, oh what? Why the fuck don't you know? What? Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

What?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and you're like, get over it, dude.

SPEAKER_00

Do you know how expensive driving is? And bad for everything? Bad for the world, the environment. Yeah. Bad for my stress. You know, stress is aging. Exactly. You know, you don't want to stress on those roads.

SPEAKER_02

Exactly.

SPEAKER_01

The con oh, then she's talking to the nephew, and the convo turns to dead cats.

SPEAKER_00

Wait, who was the kid, by the way? I think it's like a v a a client from the vet.

SPEAKER_01

Maybe, or they just organized her a child. Binge were like, Yeah, we can't get the CC TV footage from the Instagram, but we can acquire a child. They just stole a kid from Chad's and they were like, but when she's like, Yeah, I don't really like people either, and then but you know that cat oh remember that cat that cat's dead. Fuck like that's me. That is me around the child. Like 100%. Like, hey, so what do you want to talk about? Should we talk about dead cats? How your life will one day end. Well, you've got to get them.

SPEAKER_00

You've got to prime them. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

You don't want them to figure it out. Exactly. We all knew that kid that like the parents were, you know, they still believed in Santa at like 12. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Ooh. Yeah. Homeschool shit.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Caroline is FaceTiming Chrissy, who's oh my god. So she's in Europe. She's in a robe.

SPEAKER_00

She's in a dressing gown.

SPEAKER_01

She's in the place of conception of Milana, which is Milan. And oh fuck, this was great. She's like, oh, yes, Shonny. And I was, yeah, we fucked over there, and we fucked over there, and then out came.

SPEAKER_00

Milana. And she th and everyone thought we were crazy. So good. Yeah. Yeah. I would love to go on the I would love to go on a Chrissy, even just a Sunday dinner. You've seen her, she does her viewing parties every Tuesday, and she does a big dinner for everyone.

SPEAKER_01

Where is my invite?

SPEAKER_00

I know, where's our invite, Chrissy? Oh. Yeah, we love Chrissy. Okay, so with this scene, something this this is what bugged me, actually. Okay. Where Caroline, they're talking about the you know, the the high T that they're going to, right? And Caroline's like, I'm just good vibes. I'm good vibes. I don't have time. I don't want to go. I don't want to go. I'm just good vibes. And I'm like, why the fuck are binge allowing the cast members to just dictate what they do and don't want to go to? Thank you. And this this pissed me off. I was like, no, why are we allowing this?

SPEAKER_01

I think, yeah, maybe something to do with when Terry came back in. I don't know, but the yeah, there's some wriggle room in those contracts. They too much. They seem to just rock up whenever they want, go to Europe whenever they want.

SPEAKER_00

Like, come on. Because like, I don't want to put it back on Melbourne again, but unless you know Chica was on one of her European holidays with the gay husband. Which will allow Gina was getting a tan in LA. Yeah. They were always together. If they had an issue, they would they would fight it out and they would move on. They would confront each other and then move on. These girls are like, no, I'm good vibes.

SPEAKER_01

Brucie had a lot of business meetings to do in um in London. Just in a few parks that just outdoor business meetings with gentlemen. So I've heard. Allegedly. Allegedly. I mean Brucie would.

SPEAKER_00

I mean you would. Would? Would you? I would, yeah. Daddy, daddy vibes.

SPEAKER_01

Daddy vibes, but also mainly for the story. Which I would break to the demo. And the sun. And the sun. I would not whistleblow. I would blow, but I would not whistleblow. Yeah. I quite like the sun as well. So you know Brucey. Um I'll respect the DL.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, we r we respect people's privacy. Anyway.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god, have you seen Chessie recently? She's like living it up in LA. Yeah, bitch. How is she not on like the valley or something?

SPEAKER_00

On Selling Sunset. Great. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

She needs or just her own show where it's kind of like the Hills, and she's Lauren Conrad, except she's come from Melbourne.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, because she's quite the businesswoman in LA now, from what I can see. You looked. I'm not sure. I used to be a Chessi stalker. Actually, Chica's son. I used to work in the same building as him a few years ago. He used to work in finance in Collin Street.

SPEAKER_01

My mind is trying to search for. What's his face look like? I can't look.

SPEAKER_00

Just young, just Bruce and Chica morph together. Oh. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

It's all a clucky.

SPEAKER_00

He's quite short, actually.

SPEAKER_01

Bruce is a little nugget. Yeah. Yeah. So my style. A little DL daddy nugget. Love it. Hit me up, daddy. I'm sure he would. If he has worried. I could not confirm or deny. She uh where are we? Oh, the ball pit gate. Uh we've thrown the kid in the middle. Yeah, we've thrown the kid in the ball kit.

SPEAKER_00

Go drown or something.

SPEAKER_01

Some of the girls meet up with Sally to congratulate her on her two-day trip. Oh, two-day trip to London. Where she got attacked by a scissor.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah, the highlight. I love how you know the whole episode is this build up to her going to London, and then next scene she's already back. Oh, I was there for two days.

SPEAKER_01

That's a lot of flight. It is.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, she's obviously, you know, in 1A. She's truth in a Nicole.

SPEAKER_01

It doesn't honestly fucking sat in 1A, you're still wrecked because the time zones, and then you're like, it takes two days to calibrate. And then oh, but I mean, I'm assuming that their 1A and my 1A are different.

SPEAKER_00

Like when I'm on it, I've your 1A of like virgin domestic.

SPEAKER_01

No, bitch. But it is all points. But I'm no, I'm saying I'm like drinking all of the booze. Yeah. So when I rock. She's drinking a peppermint tea. Absolutely. Because she's doing it all the time. I'm like, oh my god, this is the only time I'll ever do this. I'm drinking.

SPEAKER_00

She's drinking the um Janet's tea and she's got um Nicole's uh eye patches on.

SPEAKER_01

She's got she's got a patch, she's got so what is what else are we flogging on this show?

SPEAKER_00

What is it? It's a supplement, I think. Okay. I think it's vitamins.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. I think it's very Sydney to have like a wellness brand.

SPEAKER_00

It is. What other what other things are these girls flogging? We've got the patches, we've got the vitamins. Martin's lunchbox coming soon.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Montano had furs, which we have not heard about. That's right. Sport Lux has not had a moment.

SPEAKER_00

No, no. The uh the factories in China have obviously shut down for that. Yes. And is Terry still doing the shoe line? Does she still have a shoe in the line?

SPEAKER_01

Not a peep out of the shoes.

SPEAKER_00

I don't even think in last season they showed the shoes, did they?

SPEAKER_01

We all just know that that works.

SPEAKER_00

Because she used to have a shop in Sydney. There you go. Yeah. Terry Bibiano fan club right here. Exactly.

SPEAKER_01

They give uh yeah, their congrats to Sally. Uh Chrissy's also back from Europe. She struts through the door and starts telling the very virginal. She tells them all about Milana being conceived, which I'm sure Milana's watching at home through one crack of her fingers. Never change, Chrissy. And then Chrissy comes out the gates with, Well, you know, I think Caroline has the straightest moral compass, to which Kate and Terry hard disagree with.

SPEAKER_00

Hard disagree. Strange thing to say. It is, it is. I would disagree, like, with Chrissy.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I mean, I think by straight moral compass, if you mean like is very stubborn, correct.

SPEAKER_00

To me, it means black and white, and they never veer off their thoughts and condemning. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I think Caroline is a grudge holder.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, a hundred percent. She would remember stuff and she'd bring it up later.

SPEAKER_01

And allegedly involved in some dark magic.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So I wouldn't fuck with her.

SPEAKER_00

No, no. That's why um Terry's earrings keep falling off. Exactly. She's got the uh she's putting the pin, she's putting the pins on the doll.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so they kind of uh argy bargy about this for a little bit, and then Kate whips out, Well, you know, she's not who she says she is. Dun dun dun dun dun dun. Okay, Kate. But the producers are like, hold on, save that shit for next week. You need that for the four.

SPEAKER_00

We need to drag this on for another episode.

SPEAKER_01

Chrissy is like, Oh Kate, come on, doll. That's cringe. Like she's she calls her a psycho, I think.

SPEAKER_00

She's like, that's a bit psycho, don't you think? You know, I thought she's a busy businesswoman.

SPEAKER_01

Who's got the time? Yeah, I thought she had things to do. Yeah. But you know, because we're all crinkle-cutting carrots with our kids. Obviously, she's got all the time in the in the world. Yeah. To be googling uterus.

SPEAKER_00

She's got time to be googling.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, exactly. Oh back to a few episodes ago. Oh, props. Oh, wish I knew how to do all that copy and paste. Do you not die? Wish I knew how to copy and paste a text message.

SPEAKER_00

Get Melania to teach you. Exactly. She knows. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, now she's the Trump. Now she's Melania. But they are very similar, notes. Terry calls Victoria the peanut gallery. Yes. Fucking. Like these. Do you know? I have to fucking Google when these women say they should. Outdated references. Like la what was the term last season that kept getting thrown around? I can't even remember it, but they bring up these like old ass sayings. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Like it's aging. I literally, my boyfriend was like, what the fuck does that mean? Oh, the painting Google. This kangaroo colour. And it's when it's when people are like in the background, just sort of like digging comments.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know. Yeah, it's like she says she's um always heckling from the back. So I'm thinking she's not wrong. No, not at all. This is why I love Montana. She's there, she's president, and she's got a lot of opinions, but she's also not really contributing much else.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, she was only in what one scene in this whole episode.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I think she's essential to this show. She's working hard. She's getting the paycheck. Do you think they get paid like regardless?

SPEAKER_01

I have no idea, doll. I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, they clearly don't need them the money. It's just like loose change, really.

SPEAKER_01

Chrissy says at the end of the day, I am who I am. I'm a loud, big hairy unit. I can't do this.

SPEAKER_00

And I'm not gonna change for Martine from Double Bay.

SPEAKER_01

Martine from Darling Point. Darling Point. Not changing for her in her bubble, in her good witch bubble.

SPEAKER_00

And s and she shouldn't. Chrissy is who she is, and that's why I love Chrissy. She is essential to this show because she's unapologetically herself and she knows it. And if you don't like it, tough.

SPEAKER_01

If I'm not your cup of tea, drink a coffee, honey.

SPEAKER_00

I am putting that on my coffee signature on my work email. That is that saying is incredible.

SPEAKER_01

It's really good. If I'm not your cup of tea, go drink a coffee. Didn't Janet have that in her tagline once. But she's pushing the tea. I'm not uh what is it? Not everybody's cup of tea. But my cup of tea or something. I might not something. But I my cup of tea.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it was good. Yeah, fuck yeah. Yeah. That needs to be Chrissy's tagline for season four. They couldn't think of like a patch related thing.

SPEAKER_01

No. Or a swish. No, they're probably not allowed to go that far.

SPEAKER_00

No, they they give them brands enough time on the fucking show. More than enough. More than enough.

SPEAKER_01

Chrissy in confessional tells us that Martine's friendship is too hard basket. She needs it to be easy or not at all. And I kinda I get it. I get it. If I'm meeting someone new, I mean, albeit they're on a fucking TV show, but like if I'm meeting a new person and like it's difficult, I'm like, I've got friends, I don't need to put in work for you at this point. I am I don't even see the people that I would like to enough, so I don't have time for you. So I get that. I get it, but also like you're on the show together, so let's try.

SPEAKER_00

Fake it. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But I think they have tried, and it yeah, there's been a few times now where Martine has been difficult and then doubled down.

SPEAKER_00

But again, like I'm I'm gonna sympathize with Martine because now knowing what we know, what was going on behind the scenes, it answers so many questions.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, you're giving the full parts. I am, which is why I'm giving a hard one.

SPEAKER_00

I would like to see okay. This is gonna be controversial and you're gonna hate me for that. No, please. I want season four, if they do a season four. I don't know, do you think they would?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I hope so. I want Kate, Chrissy, Martine, Sally, and Terry, and I think you have to fuck off Caroline, Victoria, and Nicole. Uh yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Oh because Yeah, yeah. Why Victoria? I would fuck off Nicole and um Caroline. Caroline. I would bring in Jane as a friend just as a friend. A friend of the show. As a friend of Sally's. And then also then Sally's got someone to have in her corner all the time, which I think she deserves.

SPEAKER_00

I just feel like Nicole uh sorry, Victoria, she gave a lot last season, but she's giving. I don't feel like I'm getting a lot from her.

SPEAKER_01

I think she's stepped in a lot to like she she's doing the peanut gallery thing where she kind of she comes in and sort of fights other people's battles for them. And then goes away. And then just disappears. Yeah, I kind of like that. I I know what you mean though. It's not the producers probably hate her because they're like, come on, get in there. And she just sort of she wants to do it on her terms, which I think is kind of calm.

SPEAKER_00

And but also we need Martine to be her own person, and I think pairing her with Victoria, yeah, it's not really allowed Martine to shine the way she shine, shine, shine, the way that she is. We like what you see with the friendship with Kate.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, true, true, true, true, true.

SPEAKER_00

She's being more herself.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, okay. I'm listening. I think you're right, yeah. But it and that's what this episode was. There were so many random pairings, and no, we never get the whole cast together barely this.

SPEAKER_00

We have not had one scene ever next week by the looks of the only one. And I'm wondering if that's when that HR drama happened, could it be?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so then it all comes back to the maturation situation. Uh, you can't become an adult until you've had kids. Whatever. Bullshit. I'm like, this is dumb. I disagree. But it's all I disagree, same, but also just kind of like it's so old.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it's old school as well. Way of thinking. It's like, is this where we're at? Is this where we're at? Episode nine of season three. This is where we're at, right? Struggling to care about. You know?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. I love the Kate stuff with the kid and everything, but I don't when it's this, it's like oh.

SPEAKER_00

We've got people in other franchises being arrested, and in this we've just got this fucking like come on.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's a bit mum-centric, which is fine. And look, no one the thing with that is research whatever. Don't like if you feel that way, great. I don't want to take that away from you. If Martine feels that she had kids and then now she's able to be an adult, which I get obviously now you've got this responsibility. You don't want this thing to die. Yeah. That's like that's a real like instinct that humans have. I get that, but it's like I just don't think no one's questioning that. And no one wants to take that from you. But so then why go people that haven't had like leave us non-parents alone?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, we're doing just fine. Let me tell you. We're doing great. We're doing, you know, more than fine. Exactly. So anyway. I've got a cat, that's enough. Exactly. What's a cat's name? Tiger. Okay. Yeah. A little pussy. A little puss.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Katie's like, uh, well, Martin says that Chrissy brought up the whole thing in the first place. Who's shit stirring now? Chrissy says. So yeah, now they pin it on Chrissy. Yeah. Which I loved this.

SPEAKER_00

I love this, but I also think again it was clutching at straws here for something because Chrissy was just like, nah, I'm not not taking this.

SPEAKER_01

But great setup for our final week next week, because we've got everyone kind of pissed at each other in multiple ways for multiple reasons. Some pettier than others, some beefier than others.

SPEAKER_00

Just imagine if all of this had been resolved five episodes ago. And then imagine what this season could have been. Yeah. You know? They did milk a lot of things. They milked this. And I actually like the healing thing.

SPEAKER_01

Like I loved the healing thing, and I loved having Jackie in it, but I didn't think it was gonna be the centre of ages. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

But also, like, and you've spoken about this before, that New Zealand trip dragged the fuck on. And I wonder if because they I know they paused filming for a little bit because of something happened. I wonder if they were just like milking footage of what they had and like we'll just drag this on for a few more episodes to fill space. Because maybe they never ended up getting everything they wanted this season.

unknown

True.

SPEAKER_00

Do you think there's a bit of that?

SPEAKER_01

Maybe. I don't know. I I think they did a really good job. I know we've still one week away, but like the from the preview, the finale looks juicy. Yes. So well done. Like I think on the train to f I don't give a fuck to Stan. I think they've done a great job. Like, they've done enough, they've cobbled together like enough drama. I was interested the whole way through. Um I like even just recapping this season, I've gotten a lot of feedback. Like people are people are watching it. Yeah. And so they're happy, people are loving to talk about it. So I think in that sense, binge. Ticking the boxes. And I hear from Birdies that we are getting a reunion.

SPEAKER_00

Fabi, has it been filmed, do you think?

SPEAKER_01

I don't know yet.

SPEAKER_00

But I believe it's happening. Do you think Nicole will be uh something will have come up with in a while or something? She'll be busy. I don't think Nicole's at that reunion.

SPEAKER_01

And I think this time, if you don't come, you're all gone. And I think she's gonna be very happy. I would be very surprised if Nicole was in the next season. Or at the end where it's just shocks.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, no, she's clearly not interested. And that's okay.

SPEAKER_01

Totally fine. We don't want you there if you don't want to be there. I don't want to watch you being like held at gunpoint.

SPEAKER_00

Like which I think it was getting to this that point. Yeah. Yeah. Because even that pairing today with Nicole and Caroline, it was a bit random. Totally. Very random. Random.

SPEAKER_01
