Love may be dead.. but Love Triangle is thriving! And to talk about it (episodes 4-6) with Sam on the cringe couch is deep voiced diva Christian Gillett. Mike is having a come to Jesus moment - he is in fact a bad person, the lesbian love triangle grows and poor Payton may not have a man.. But she might have a Didi sponsorship..? That and some Real Housewives of Sydney (and Melbourne) and Masterchef chats to wet your whistle.

Intro
SPEAKER_02This podcast was produced on the land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. Welcome to Australia! This is kind of tragic. Someone who is such a connoisseur of reality television, the content is hideous.
SPEAKER_00So sorry about this. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_02Exhale. Inhale. We did it. We made it through the real Housewives of Sydney. I know we did. It's done. It's done.
Real Housewives Australian Girl Trip?!
SPEAKER_02I'm a little bit like, what do I do now with my life?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, like what am I gonna do on a Tuesday now?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I don't know, just like masturbate and every day of the week normally.
SPEAKER_01So just adding another week a day now, so that's great.
SPEAKER_02But when we just as we thought a chapter had closed, you've seen these rumours, no? About Ultimate Girls Trip.
SPEAKER_01Oh girl. Like if this this we must manifest this.
SPEAKER_02If it's not real, I'm so mad.
SPEAKER_01We're gonna track down this home.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna find out which faggot made up this lie if it's not real, and I'm actually gonna end their life.
SPEAKER_01And just the lineup, the potential lineup.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so hang on. So we had from Melbourne, Janet, Gamble, Jackie, and Lydia allegedly appearing.
SPEAKER_01I know people miss Gina, and of course I miss Gina. Of course we want Gina there, but Lydia, fucking. Lydia's good.
SPEAKER_02If it was Gina, it would become the Gina show. Yeah, totally. Which is why we love her. But also I think this is a good because hopefully they do more of these. I love it. We haven't even got it, but we already want more. But like if they do this one as a bit of a test, Gina can come and like be the bombshell later on. Or do like a scary island vibe where Gina just rocks up halfway through.
SPEAKER_01I know, just yeah, just come and Oh, we're doing manicures. I do also think I feel like if we do get another season of Melbourne Housewives, like Gina would only come back potentially in a guest spot. Which I do love a guest spot because I love Chica's regular guest appearance. You'd be good like that. Yeah. I don't know if she I don't know if she would commit to another season, but we'll see. I hope so.
SPEAKER_02And then from from Sydney, Victoria Race, which I was like, that was I think that was when I was like, okay, maybe I don't believe this now. Because that's too good to be true. Uh Maddie Summer, Terry, Chrissy, and Sally.
SPEAKER_01Maddie, especially.
SPEAKER_02Maddie would be great. We know she's good. She'd be good so much. She would actually be there and she'd be like. Oh my god. Or she'd be doing the girls' snails, facials. Like she's she's who you want on a fucking girls' trip.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, she'd bring the Botox top them up.
SPEAKER_02It'd be incredible, yeah. Uh Victoria Reese, that's a that's a wild card.
SPEAKER_01That is a wild card. I'm sorry, it's like her and Lisa. I thought we'd never hear from again in a Housewives universe. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Well, Lisa Oldfield, bless her, cotton socks. She's like all over social meds. Yeah, she loves it.
SPEAKER_01She loves she's an anarchist on social media.
SPEAKER_02And proudly. But I like Victoria Reese, is she have we heard from her? No.
SPEAKER_01No. Yeah. Just living still in that beautiful apartment that overlooked the Oh my apartment? Yeah.
SPEAKER_02At icebergs. Yeah. Yeah, doll. Yeah, doll. Cool. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01But no, I really hope it does happen. Could you imagine?
unknownOh, we need it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Like they go on stupid trips. Like they go on a safari or something, or just something really ridiculous.
SPEAKER_02Where would they go? They need to do it.
SPEAKER_01Like a CG? Yeah, like somewhere ridiculous where it would they could because I think as we've seen in the Sydney season, um it's really important that they get activities to do. So we need to do something like a place where you can do really stupid activities where they just make asses of themselves.
SPEAKER_02Do you know what's so funny? So to bring it to the show we're going to talk about today, which I'm fucking loving by the way. Such a good show. Do you know what I'm loving about the show? There's no activities.
SPEAKER_01No.
SPEAKER_02They go they go out for the dinner party, they get drunk. They literally sit around in a house drinking cups of tea, getting really like annoyed at each other.
SPEAKER_01And making like homemade pasta and like throwing flour everywhere. It's budget. It is, yeah.
SPEAKER_02But it proves that you don't need like a sound healer to come in to get us like excited.
SPEAKER_01No, and it's like I it doesn't feel like one of these shows that's like really heavily produced. Like, of course it is. Yeah. But of course it is. Well, as we'll talk in the world.
SPEAKER_02When the producers uh let themselves into the oh god, yes, of course.
SPEAKER_01But like there's like all these things, situations do seem to stem from their own behaviour. True. Which I think is really interesting.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and I guess they are all like plebs from obscurity. Yeah, yeah, yeah. These people, they're not like known.
SPEAKER_01Except for old Mike.
SPEAKER_02Oh my god, he's got fans. He's got fans, yeah. Like, shout out, like, honestly, write in. Yeah, please let us know how you can support this man. Sure, Mike Stan, ride in, and we'll try and get you some help. I believe that everyone can be saved.
SPEAKER_01Did you watch his season of MAFs? I did. Yeah, because I didn't, and now I've gone down a rabbit hole of clips.
SPEAKER_02I'm like, fucking how also what I love about this show, it's pretty much MAFs, but you don't have to commit to like 12,000 hours of your life and you're never getting back. Yeah, so yeah, was it eight? Is it last? I thought it was six, and I got very excited, and I was talking to Damascus, and I was like, Woo, six episodes, and then someone was like, doll, it's eight. And I was like, fuck. And we got yeah, reunion and everything. I mean, that's eight with a reunion. That's still a micro season. That's pretty good, yeah. It's a micro season doll.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, because how many is maths?
SPEAKER_02It's like 30 episodes, 40 to 40, 50, 40 to 50 episodes, and they're all an hour long. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01That's it's like three times a week, yeah.
MasterChef Back To Win
SPEAKER_02It's like the MasterChef model, but instead of like inspiring.
SPEAKER_01And I do, and I do find that hard to keep up with because I have been watching Master Chef, but I'm like three episodes behind now.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I'm about three behind as well. Yeah. Did you see hang on? What are you up to? Um The Cubes.
SPEAKER_01No, I'm not just I just saw um beautiful, what was her name? Blonde hair mum. Oh, Kath. Yeah, Kath. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Kath was the correct choice to go home. Absolutely, but I've got a Oh no, but I've got a huge soft spot for her. Of course. She's great on TV because she sounds like a Kath. Her name is Kath. She's got Kath hair.
SPEAKER_01She's giving Kath day night realness. She is.
SPEAKER_02And then she's like, oh, just making something Asian style, making a Japanese inspired mushroom dish. Honey, she cooked those mushrooms.
SPEAKER_01She did.
SPEAKER_02She cooked them and they were fucking fucked.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, they were absolutely.
SPEAKER_02I was watching her do it and I was like, oh no, Kath. Should have done like some Rissoles.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, just some Rissoles, bangers, and mash. And then you could do it. Maybe a meatloaf.
SPEAKER_02And then they can at least turn that into a story where it's like, oh, Kath, like, she's just a regular Aussie mum. Nothing special here. She doesn't need a hibachi. Exactly.
SPEAKER_01But she fucking And I really loved seeing her in like the first episode where they were all making the um, you know, under Gordon Ramsay and they had the teams and stuff. And you know, everyone's like really going in for this high sort of cuisine thing, and you can tell she's just on the side, like, oh yeah, oh yeah, okay, all right, yep, it was great.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. No, we need Kath. Can we just bring Kath on as like a kind of goggle box style onlooker for the rest of the season?
SPEAKER_01Oh, that's nice. What do you call that? Yeah. Andy. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02You're in your fancy.
SPEAKER_01But yes, it is hard, isn't it? It's a commitment to commit to these shows.
SPEAKER_02And you don't want to miss it, but you can. Like you can miss one here and there, and it's good. I miss the ones where they just follow a chef. That's boring to me. I like I like seeing what they m come up with.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I'm always like um pressure um situations and also, you know, like immunity challenges and you know, eliminations. They're the most exciting.
SPEAKER_02The cube thing.
SPEAKER_01So what's the cube thing? Because I don't think I'm up to that. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_02They they've like brought it back.
SPEAKER_01Oh, is that the one where they um oh no, not again.
SPEAKER_02So dumb. No. It's like, oh, you didn't identify like a strawberry correctly. Oh no, so you're like going to like chef jail.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Like, but when what?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that was yeah, I remember being really annoyed by that last time. It's so boring to watch too.
SPEAKER_02People take turns, tasting little. And it takes like 30 minutes of the episode. Yeah. I'm like, Bo, speed it up. But great cast. Loving uh all my faves are there. Dash. I'm I've such Dash is so fucking hot. And he's like gotten hotter.
SPEAKER_01Yep, absolutely, 110%.
SPEAKER_02His whole intro being like, now I live in a share house with Nat and who else? Someone else from the show.
SPEAKER_01That yeah, yeah. Who was it? Someone else. And they they're all there in, yeah, they're in our neck of the woods. Yeah, I've seen that go walking around all the time.
SPEAKER_02I'm I haven't been so lucky. Actually, I thought I saw him like near the Vic Market the other day. Yeah, yeah. I was like, surely it's not Dutch, but now I'm like, oh it must be. Oh, it is going to get some fresh projects. Cut into a cube. That was cute. Loved that. Who else is there that we love? Loving Schnej. Love.
SPEAKER_01She's great. Yeah. I want everything she cooks. The thing about Master Chef is you don't ever dislike anyone, really. Because they're all just good people and they're cheering each other on.
SPEAKER_02And every now and then there's like a weird man that's like, oh I'm gonna do Oh, like Tim. I'm not I'm not a Tim fan. When he made a toasty on like the first episode, I was like, dude. Yeah, come on, man. What the fuck are you doing?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And he's like, oh, this is gonna be the best toasty.
SPEAKER_01Was that their midnight snack thing? No, that's the thing. What was it? Oh no, it wasn't.
SPEAKER_02It was literally just like tell us about your journey, and because he has a toasty shop. He's like, Oh, I better do that. That's right. Yeah, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Yeah. Elevate that shit, mate.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02He's like, I'm just a simple country boy.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I mean, it looked fucking good. Yeah, I mean, yeah, it would annihilate it, but then he brought out the the toasty and it had like a cheese sort of like crisp on the outside. Yeah, and I think it was oh fuck, what's her name? The new host that's not Poe.
SPEAKER_01Oh, great. We're both forgotten.
SPEAKER_02She's stunning and I love her, but I've The critic. Yeah, forgotten her name. She was like, um, it kinda looks like the cheese from like that you've like scraped off the bottom of like a sandwich press in an office. And I was like, ooh.
SPEAKER_01I know that's brutal, isn't it? But it did actually look like that. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01But yeah, how many more episodes have we got of that? Probably about another 712. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, back to win.
SPEAKER_01I know. Jeez.
SPEAKER_02Do you know what else is back? I kissed a boy.
SPEAKER_01I've never watched. Oh, you didn't watch season one? No, I didn't.
SPEAKER_02You would die. Yeah. It's Danny Manog. Yeah, yeah. Who's the host? And it's like in a masseria in Italy. And they it's so good. And they have to pash before they've even spoken to each other. So they walk in and they decide.
SPEAKER_01That's really unusual for gay men.
SPEAKER_02So well then they did it with lesbians, which was even better. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I kissed a girl, and now they're back. They must be alternating. Yeah. But that just started, so I'm excited to get touched on the stuff.
SPEAKER_01No, I have to get on that. What's that on? Oh one of them, binge something.
SPEAKER_02V B C I player. For VPN. I don't know. It's on the internet. I'll send you a link to the dark web. But um let's get into fucking Love Triangle, shall we?
SPEAKER_01This is such a good show.
SPEAKER_02It's so good. And so you said you've been with us from
Love Triangle Season 3 Episodes 4-6 Recap
SPEAKER_02the start.
SPEAKER_01I just pressed play randomly from a Stan suggestion.
SPEAKER_02So it's a Stan original preview. Put on there.
SPEAKER_01And they're coming up on 10 years now, Stan. So there you go. They're really fucking kidding. Yeah, I know. I don't know when I got it, but like that is a long time. Like streaming has been a thing now for a decade.
SPEAKER_02And now that Drag Race is shit, I'm not gonna lie. I'm like every day I look at my Stan subscription, I'm like, should I pull the plug?
SPEAKER_01I know, but it's but there is some really good stuff on there. Because I've done a I've done a complete cull. I've done a complete cull on streaming, not my streaming service. Paramount plus Paramount Plus gone because it's like I'm not gonna get it. So dumb. I'll sign up for another free trial when Gilded Age season three drops. Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_02I did watch all of the list.
SPEAKER_01Oh yes.
SPEAKER_02Only because I love getting straight boys naked on television. And like lad Larrican behavior. Yeah, yeah. So hot.
SPEAKER_01And we both watched, you watch Real World Well, no, what was it? Real World, no, what was the what was the one with all the in Queensland and they had the girl the UK come out? Aussie short. Aussie short, yes. No, you watched that as well. Oh that was Paramount. Yeah, that was Paramount, yeah. Yes, I really enjoyed that. But there's more of that coming up. Oh good, because I really enjoyed that. That was Paramount absolute trash. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. But then what else went? Disney Plus stars.
SPEAKER_01I will maybe jump on board for another bear season, but like, yeah, I just don't watch anything on there. Yeah. You know, and I don't, you know, I'm not gonna go on and watch Milana 2.
SPEAKER_02So And now we've got Max in Australia. Yeah, which we're all gonna have to sign up for for fucking White Lotus. And that's the thing. So I'm assuming all of that is just coming straight off binge.
SPEAKER_01All of it's gone, so you can get White Lotus the latest season still on binge, but all the old seasons have transferred on.
SPEAKER_02I wonder they've gotta start making uh Ultimate Girls Trip happen because they're gonna have to hang on to us queers, whatever they can do. You need us, binge. If you're listening, binge execs as a gesture this podcast. Start filming Ultimate Girls Trip right now.
SPEAKER_01It should be actually happening now. They should all be happening now.
SPEAKER_02I think Terry Biviano should be on a first class flight to agreed appear.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Immediately.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Or only first class, because we know how it's enemy goes in this show. Still not getting over that.
SPEAKER_02Can we just quickly I'm still not over Nicole.
SPEAKER_01Neither am I.
SPEAKER_02Giving the performance of her life in the last episode.
SPEAKER_01It was so bizarre. And I'm so glad that they all called it out because it's like you've signed up to do this show, and we talked about it when we talked about one of the episodes this season. And it's like, no, you didn't want to come out because it wasn't first class. We know what the deal was.
SPEAKER_02But that that's we love that.
SPEAKER_01But like, do you care that's camp? But you know, pay for your upgrade and come and do the show.
SPEAKER_02Her whole personality on season one was my kids and I only fly at the front of the plane, darling. And that's she could have had a full circle moment. Yeah. She's like, Well, yeah, you know, I famously don't fuck with economy.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm sure she had a million points she could have used to upgrade herself, like, but she just didn't come and turn up. She's yet.
SPEAKER_02Oh no, see, I'm full team Nicole on this. Are you really? Yeah, bitch. Yeah. I thought she, of course, well, you saw that she posted the receipts. Yeah, she liaised with me and she was like, These are the dates I can do. Yeah. And they were like, Cool, how about this one that you can't? And she was like, Oh, here we go. Um, so I don't know. I'm kind of with her, and then also she like gave an incredible performance on Zoom. Where was she? Where was this woman the whole season? I love her.
SPEAKER_01And that moment with Terry was extraordinary. So awful, but exactly what we want. It's great. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Anyway.
SPEAKER_01So yeah, culd all those streaming services, doll. Uh so yeah, we're just stuck with Netflix, Dan, and I've got still got Hayou, because I have to I have to hold on. It's $7.99.
SPEAKER_02Not a sponsored post, but no, it's a bargain. And I love it, it's like you get what you pay for. Do you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01Absolutely. I rarely watch it until there's a new season of something like Salt Lake City, but like it's there and no, what's that?
SPEAKER_02It's good. It's all of the washed-up people from Vanderpump Rules, which was the spin-off of Beverly Hills Housewives. Now they've all got kids and they're all divorcing their partners because all their because everyone's got coke addictions and uh there's a lot of domestic violence. It's the most bleak shit possible, but it's so good.
SPEAKER_01So it's so it's like reality TV a bit about the darkness of what these do to you.
SPEAKER_02And it's like people that previously had been cancelled for being like a bit racist and probably for being on TV. Now it's like bring them back. Yeah, why not? Yeah, why not? And like, yeah, you're kind of watching it and you kind of feel sorry for them.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, yeah. But it's so good. Alright, the valley. Give it a good thing. Well, I've got my high-you $7.95 a month. Bargain.
SPEAKER_02Fucking hell. Alright, let's do it. Love trying. Otherwise, we're never trying to do it. We're never gonna yeah. And I promise I am loving this. Um, episode four is where we're starting. Yep. And it was called uh I'd like to get to know her. We start with Peyton and Jordan. So this is this is a mess. Absolute mess. Fucking mess. And we get a recap of the friend zone drama. So he thought he was being clever at the party by being like, oh yeah, she like totally thinks. Oh yeah, just a little bit. Yeah, a little top up there.
SPEAKER_01We've got a lot to get through.
SPEAKER_02Oh yeah, she knows that we're friendzoning hard. Like, I don't even need to say it because it's just like we've already we've had so many discussions. Like discussions where you were wearing a cape or not.
SPEAKER_01Like, come on, mate. And you know, where it goes in that evening is like, oh dude. Like there are so many fuckboys in this show.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but like they're not even yeah, because like none of them are particularly hot or fun. They're just they're actually just a bit a bit trash. Yeah. So it's a different flavour. Whereas at Fuckboy Island, they were fuckboys, but I wanted to call their dicks.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but he you're just like, no, I'm just gonna use my hand tonight.
SPEAKER_02This guy, like, needs to back away from society. Yeah. Uh he says um to her face that he didn't say anything mean about her. And no, not at all. Well, not to her face. And then they perfectly cut to him being like, I can't fucking date that mole.
SPEAKER_01In the hot mic moment. It's so hot mic moment. So like I really like Peyton. I've got a real she's so lovely. She's the only real person on the show. She's the only real person on the show, and she's just a you can tell she's a genuine sweetheart. And then you got this guy like in the you know, behind the scenes. It was a absolute yeah, fuckery to and just nasty and mean spirited, and it's like it's just the way that he was talking about her.
SPEAKER_02It was really I'm just so glad that they these this production company, like gold stars, you got the hot mic, and you're like playing it every episode, like that's what you do. And they don't think that they're on, which I love. Which is so good, and it must be in their contract, like, yeah, everything you say will be used against you.
SPEAKER_01Will be used against you, and so it should.
SPEAKER_02Uh he claims uh to her um that how it works is he'll be friends with someone, then just all of a sudden out of nowhere, he'll just like fall in love with personalities, and I was like, Yeah, what sorry?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but he's just gross.
SPEAKER_02But also it's like in saying that it's like, so you think she's a an ugly dog? Yeah, like you're not hot, but you could be cool and interesting enough for me to fuck you at some point.
SPEAKER_01So I've literally basically said, as if I would ever date you, like look at her, and then it's like, oh, but you know, your personality, and it's just like and yeah, it's just she deserves so much. So much more.
SPEAKER_02And the same thing happened on MAFS this year where yeah, they got a guy saying, But I asked for petite and blonde. It wasn't even a hot mic because this guy was so yeah, Lulu. But the producers must act like, yeah, they're gonna find you exactly what you want.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02We're yeah, we're gonna do a full we've got your checklist there, tell us what you want, and then these men are dumb enough to like actually be like, oh, they have to be this then. Absolutely. Like it's their porn search history. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Dude, like what the fuck are you thinking about? I know. Um anyway. Unfortunately though, she seems to want to continue, and I was like, get the fuck out of this house, girl. But do we feel like she's just being a good sport or the airtime, or why is she still there?
SPEAKER_01I think I think it's yeah, I think it's a bit of both. I think she is I think there is obviously a lot of, you know, she's been burnt a lot, and she, you know, has talked about that. And um, but at the end of the day, I think she is just sort of like she realizes that she's you know in this show. She's you know she's very like I Yeah, she's my she was my favourite. Yeah, she's been my favourite this season.
SPEAKER_02She's got great facial expressions at all the dumb shit that's happening to her. So good. Uh cut to Ari and Nuri with a sexy massage moment. She's like, Finally, I'm gonna put out for Nuri. And I'm like, bitch, this man is uh smoking hot. He's so hot. He's actually it like hurts me a little bit, yeah. And he's in grey track suit pants in this scene. So I was like, thank you. Sweatpants season is here. Um also it sounds like they're furked. Which I'm into because they're all like giggly.
SPEAKER_01I yeah, I'm I'm like they're they've absolutely fucked, especially you know, like yeah, they've always been kind of all over each other.
SPEAKER_02So they never say that on the Shows they always say things like we've taken our intimacy to the next level.
SPEAKER_01We're not we're not you know, we're in the one bedroom now.
SPEAKER_02We're just like sleeping in my bedroom, and um last night like the intimacy levels were increased, and I sat on his dick. Yeah, yeah. She's fun.
SPEAKER_01I really like her. Yeah, she's she is great, she's really cool.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, our girl, yeah. I want to get blackout with her on like a night on like a girl's night out. Yeah, it should be fun. Like at a hen's party, she'd be fun.
SPEAKER_01No, she'd be a hoot.
SPEAKER_02He says huge green flag um about them fucking. Yeah. And can I just PSA like quickly, like straight people, can we please can we just ditch the flag system?
SPEAKER_01Agreed.
SPEAKER_02It's really dumb.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And I d I don't I don't understand it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I didn't know green flags were a thing.
SPEAKER_02Like you could just say that like they did something that you liked.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that was it, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Or they did something that was fine. Yeah, great. Like, why does it need to be? It feels very like corporate retreat. Like, and we're gonna put all the green flags over here and all the red flags over here on sticky notes.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Stop it.
SPEAKER_01Team building.
SPEAKER_02Stop it.
SPEAKER_01Yep.
SPEAKER_02I'm really upset.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. You are, you're now there's yellow flags?
SPEAKER_02They've introduced yellow flags. Well, you're not really sure. There's yellow flags popping out. The Straits need help.
SPEAKER_01So what would yellow flag? What would a yellow flag actually stand for, Joel?
SPEAKER_02It's like danger is coming, but like But you're like willing to give them a second chance? To be on a reality show. Yeah. That's what a yellow yellow flag is. This person is harmful, but I'm getting paid to be on this show. Okay, cool. I think that's what a yellow flag must be. Anyway.
SPEAKER_01I've had a lot of yellow flags in my life then. Jesus.
SPEAKER_02Leaving the Straits, we go to Beck and Chloe. Wow. Um, but Beck reminds us that she's usually into mask girlies with dark features. And then I'm like, I bet you that's what they've got waiting in the wings. And boy, was I right.
SPEAKER_01And then what did they have waiting in the wings?
SPEAKER_02Um, but before that, um, Chloe's like, look, um, honestly, Becky's like, I'm gonna show Chloe that I'm like serious. So they surprise her with a little picnic, and it was cute. Um, Beck wrote a thing, she reads it. Um the words gratitude are involved, it's very important and walls. Um, and probably yellow flag was in there as well. Yeah, that would have been a good thing. Because these two are striving for heteronormative approval.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um, so yeah, Defa Chat JPG job.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it was yeah, well done though. Yeah. She expressed her feelings.
SPEAKER_02It worked though, because Chloe sheds a tear.
SPEAKER_01I know, and she's like, No, you're gonna get me started.
SPEAKER_02No, and then they have a passion a giggle, and I was like, oh, lesbian love is alive.
SPEAKER_01Also we thought uh Bernie and Marissa.
SPEAKER_02Thoughts on Bernie? Like, I just what the fuck?
SPEAKER_01He is absolute fuck boy, like it's just it's just so egotistical.
SPEAKER_02He's like a hipster fuck boy, like yeah, he looks like he should know better, but he absolutely doesn't.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and he'd I feel like he'd be the kind of guy if he was talking to his friends about stuff that he'd all be like, oh yeah, you know that guy's a fuck boy, and that's just a like he would like condone not condone that behaviour from other people. Yeah, exactly. But when it comes to himself, it's literally textbook, yeah. It's textbook.
SPEAKER_02This is fucked. So there's like a flashback to last night, and Bernie tells us that he feels catfished, and when he used that word, I was like, uh like sorry. Um so it's the same thing as um Jordan. He's kind of like, oh, but I ordered you know fries and I got an ice cream.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and it's just also like the like his belief in him in what he is is just so beyond what it actually is.
SPEAKER_02Like it's like again, you're cute, not hot enough to be a fuckboy. No, so ratty. I'm like, dude, what's going on? Yeah, and it's just like he's just not charming. No, no. He thought that all you need to do is like get some like little t little like trendy tats and like wear some chunky like designer sunglasses, which oh my god, so I I was in Fitzroy North on the weekend. And everyone dresses like this guy. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01I was like, I actually was like, oh my god, it's Bernie. And it's the 90s like baggy shirts, they're all bad.
SPEAKER_02No, but then designer sunnies, yeah, yeah. Which are like real because you're like, how else are you living in the grunge shake? Yeah, yeah. But like the I feel like the grunge part of it is like that's phasing out now. Yeah, yeah. Now they just look like tossers. Yeah. Like but yeah, everyone looked like Bernie, and I was like, ooh. Anyway, uh they're still stuck, and like the accent insulting and stuff. Like, look, to be fair, Marissa seems kind of annoying. I'm just gonna say that. Yeah. But you still don't have to like be a dick.
SPEAKER_01It's yeah, it's it's almost like from the start. Like, they had that, you know, their first date was kind of alright, and then it's just like being like he just hasn't tried, he hasn't cared, so it's like, oh, I'll just tear her down a little bit.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01It's like, well, what's the point? And also it's like, I didn't find her accent annoying. Like, I it's very neutral. Like, what are you talking about? He's got an act, like he's got an accent.
SPEAKER_02I know, it's what I'm kind of like, dude. Like pot calling casual. Anyway, he's such a dick. In confessional, he's like, Look, if this was in the real world by now, I would have like blocked her on everything.
SPEAKER_01So mature, so mature.
SPEAKER_02She said that I was like, so you have the self-awareness to tell us that, yeah, that they're not like uh anyway. Fuck boy, these are people, mate. Like just saying not interested, thank you. Hope you had a good one. Oh, I know, but they all want to be on TV. He's like, I'm I'm usually chasing the next shiny thing. Well, like, usually, and you are right now. Yep. Then he bangs on about how much he's still thinking about Chloe. This guy wants what he can't have, right? Exactly. Which look, I get it. There's something hot about Forbidden Fruit, and the fact that she's like, you know, on the show with another woman, and then he gets to come in and do the ultimate like man move of like turning a lesbian.
SPEAKER_01And it is, and I do love it because it's like I don't think it really happened in past seasons, um, the past two seasons, and it's like I do really like this triangle, like the edges have been really extended. This is like this is really interesting. Exactly, it's a dodecahedron. And I really like that, and I feel like it's intentional or not, is a really interesting way.
SPEAKER_02Either way, the producers are fingering themselves.
SPEAKER_01It's so good, yeah. It's really good, and it's like while I'm just going, fuck boy, fuck boy, fuck boy, fuck boy. Yeah, I'm it's great tell television. Yeah. So here for it.
SPEAKER_02Here for it. Over at Micah Melinda, this shit is bleak. Can we just call like I think at this point they like should have just been like, Alright, let's uh let's uh finish up here.
SPEAKER_01Yep.
SPEAKER_02He brings up the gym asshole thing again. Uh there every time they speak to each other, it is just like a passive aggressive like Olympic sport.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's just like he's learnt nothing, and then it does actually end.
SPEAKER_02And he uh he says, All the best, darling. Oh, and I was like, Don't darling me, darling. When he said darling, I was like, Wow, and he just walks out. So yeah, it's yeah, and look, good for her.
SPEAKER_01It's done. I'm like, yeah, why would you want to be around that?
SPEAKER_02I love as soon as she googled him, she was like, Nope. Yeah, as you should be, like, fucking how. And so finally it's triangle time, and as a newbie to this format, I was like, Oh, I wonder how they're gonna do this. Is it always the same? Like the new next person just comes into the Airbnb, knocks on the door, knocks on the door while the other two are awkwardly.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, they're like they're making their homemade pasta or they're making some breakfasts, drinking a lot of like cheap bottles of wine.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, there's not yet, there's nothing going on in these households.
SPEAKER_01No, nothing.
SPEAKER_02Because do they have phones? I feel like they don't. Well, but but do they have phones? No, they do. They do have. But it's only got like one app on it called like and it's not the number.
SPEAKER_01And it's like, so they can't contact the outside world or have the outside world, but the numbers that are approved from other contestants is fine.
SPEAKER_02Um It's like an Apple store. Like the phone has limited functions. Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_01Um, but no, that's always been the case. So they come in, they um knock on the door, and they're like, oh, who could this be?
SPEAKER_02It's oh yeah. And they know that the other person's gonna join them as well.
SPEAKER_01Yes, they do know that. So if I recall, I don't I think the first season it was a surprise. Was a surprise, but you can't keep doing that. You can't keep doing that. So it is they do know that they're coming.
SPEAKER_02We need to talk about my favourite part of this whole show, which I can't believe I didn't pick up on this in the first three episodes. The blatant DD promotion.
SPEAKER_01Oh, I know. Oh my god. Oh and I just noticed it in like one of the last couple of episodes where it's like it has like a slogan.
SPEAKER_02Oh my god, the way that that brand is perfect for this show. Totally. I could not think of a match made in heaven. Yeah, it's not an Uber show, it's a DD brand. It's the DD. Like if if Maths had an Uber sponsorship, Love Triangle gets the DD. And the way that it's like later on, Peyton like gets into her Didi and she's like, oh yes, hello, are you my driver?
SPEAKER_01So good.
SPEAKER_02I was like, girl, get that.
SPEAKER_01And you know what? Shout out to DD, because they are quite a lot cheaper than Uber.
SPEAKER_02But they are, yeah, and loving the slogan on the car. Yes.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, lovely. Where it's like, you know, we'll get you to your first date. Like fabulous. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Honestly, exceptional work. Those cars with those huge fuck off DD stickers on the door. Yeah. I died.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's really good. And as you said, perfect. This, yeah, not quite Uber, just below.
SPEAKER_02It's like an LD of sorts.
SPEAKER_01Love Aldi too. Great. Well, that's the thing. And this is why we're watching this show. Exactly.
SPEAKER_02It appeals to our sense. Budgetry. Exactly.
SPEAKER_01Cos he lives.
SPEAKER_02Uh where the fuck are we? Oh, it's triangle time. So we get um Chloe's gender obsession flashbacks. So remember when she was like, I'm actually like above gender. So I don't see it. Yeah. I don't want to know about it, but I do want to guess. Yeah. Constantly. So she's like, um, I don't sound like a man. I remember when she was like, E, oh, E owns a house. Oh, they must be male. Yeah. And they like work in construction or some shit. I don't know. They trolled her bad because here is Emma. And can I just say, Emma is the fucking breakout star of this show. I'm a big thing. She's great. She's really good. I want to fuck her.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. She's hot. She's really hot.
SPEAKER_02Hot.
SPEAKER_01Great energy. Just you could tell would be a fucking like oh you could have a great night on the piss with her, but you could also have a deeply intellectual conversation where you literally try and write the into the world. Yeah, totally.
SPEAKER_02She's smart, she's intense. She's like, you can tell she's had about like 32 like serious relationships. Like they've all been serious? One a year.
SPEAKER_01One a year. And she's changed them forever. And but she'd still be friends with all of them. Yeah. All of them.
unknownOh, I love her.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02This this was evil work by the producers, but gorgeous. The fact that it's like exactly Beck's typewalks in the world. Exactly Beck's type. And so it's like now not only does Chloe want to fork Emma, because it's like that's the game, but now Beck also wants to fork Emma. And in my mind, I was like, if this was gay boys, you know what would happen next.
SPEAKER_01They would all fart. They would all fart. That's the thing. I'm like, why like we haven't had a gay couple?
SPEAKER_02Of course not, because it would literally be on the couple.
SPEAKER_01It would literally, they would just all fart.
SPEAKER_02It would be the ABC special of like Chris Jesus and Nicolas and Joel Bray. It would become that in fabulous. So we So we've decided the molecule is green lit.
SPEAKER_01This is a green flag. It would be, wouldn't it? They would literally be on an ABC special. They would. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Which is why that yeah, Stan is like, no, no, no. No drama.
SPEAKER_01We'll stick with the lesbian.
SPEAKER_02There wouldn't be enough drama or enough drama that like the audience could comprehend.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah. Will they? Will they? It might be interesting to have like a bye guy. That could be interesting. Yeah. One girl, one guy in the triangle. That would be great. But then they probably all still fuck.
SPEAKER_02So again, though, like this is so classic, like nine/slash stan. They're like, we'll dip our toe in the queer pond as long as it's hot chicks.
SPEAKER_01It's hot chicks, and it's still got that undercurrent of heteronormativity.
SPEAKER_02Undercurrent? They spent the whole time discussing gender roles in their lesbian relationship. I was like, I was actually like, you girlies, unfortunately, is setting back the movement, but whatever.
SPEAKER_01That's producing. Surely. Surely.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, true, because I think I think poor Chloe had good intentions, but they also were like, alright, doll, like, guess the genders.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, of course they were, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02We were all rooting for you.
SPEAKER_01We were all rooting for you. And I'm I am glad that they went with two girls in the end, though. I really love it.
SPEAKER_02Me too, because I was expecting some dickhead guy to walk in, but when it was Emma, I was like, yes. So good. And I also wanted to compete for her attention. Yeah. We all do. Everyone in the universe is lining up.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Because she'd be the kind, yeah. As I said, she would literally like give you wild sex. But then could you just imagine her like gentle caress? I know. Extraordinary. I love her. She's gorgeous. We love you, Emma.
SPEAKER_02But Emma also admits straight away she's into it. Like, I love that there's no mincing. It's like, yeah, look, uh, because Becky's fucking hot. These three girls are gorgeous.
SPEAKER_01I know, and so it's stunning.
SPEAKER_02On like Donkey Kong. Yeah. Uh, back at the M house, Melissa joins Mike and Melinda. And I was like, that's too many M's. What the fuck? Yeah. Um I'm surprised Mike wasn't on a walk because he loves just going on a walk around the neighborhood so he can burst in and accuse someone of uh doing something untoward.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean, heaven forbid a producer's in a room, like actually just talking to someone on a show that's being filmed constantly.
SPEAKER_02This instant coffee scene so oh yeah, we're gonna make it instant coffee.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, oh yeah. It's like so awkward. I can know. But he likes what he sees. He does, yeah.
SPEAKER_02And yeah, this whole instant coffee bit, I was like, no. Uh back to Bernie and Marissa with absolutely no vibes. No vibes. They can't even you cannot even pretend at this point.
SPEAKER_01Like every time they talk to each other, they disassociate.
SPEAKER_02And this is so good. I actually love that they've stitched him up here because they send in Jazz with a Z. And she is that girl.
SPEAKER_01She is that girl. She is a she is a makeup artist.
SPEAKER_02She's a woo girl.
SPEAKER_01She is a woo girl.
SPEAKER_02She comes in with she comes in hot with a sushi train. She goes, It's from the stitchy train.
SPEAKER_01It's so good.
SPEAKER_02She walked in with that sushi platter from the sushi train. I was like, oh fuck yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, love her. I love this bitch. Yep.
SPEAKER_02She looks like Tanya's eyeda. She oh my god, she does. She sounds good. Yeah, she's got like huge nails and like fake tan. So much makeup. Love her. Fabulous. She's just like, what are you guys been doing? Like, what's up? Oh, you're just sitting around in your Airbnb.
SPEAKER_01Literally, that's all they do in this show is sit around in their Airbnb and then make food and drink cheap wine.
SPEAKER_02But he's already known, like he's already like, oh, but I'm a cool guy. I'm like Fitzroy North and she's the Gold Coast. Yeah. So he's already trying so hard to like distance himself from her. Um Marissa is also like, yeah, she's a dog. I have nothing to worry about. And I'm like, Marissa, you don't like him? You don't like him.
SPEAKER_01What the fuck? Don't tear down this don't tear down this woo girl.
SPEAKER_02Why exactly? It's why this show is genius, because even if they don't care about each other, enter a third person and the competitivity.
SPEAKER_01Well, it's the natural human instinct to be threatened by when you're in those kind of situations. Even if you don't actually like the person.
SPEAKER_02So now these two are gonna bond over their mutual disdain for jazz. Who's like just trying to have a fun time, guys?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and she's come in and she's brought him sushi. Like, that's that's a nice chest chat.
SPEAKER_02It's great. There's nothing else going on in that house.
SPEAKER_01Nothing. Sushi and yeah, disassociating.
SPEAKER_02And then he's such a terrorist Bernie. He's like, Yeah, so um, should we talk about like why I didn't pick you because of your shit text chat etiquette? And she's like, Okay. She goes, Yeah, I'm just like not that girl. Like, I just like don't really like texting. And I was like, same. Yeah. I would not get picked on this show because I too would reply two days later.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, two days later, leave you unread, and I would just it'd be a one-sentence response. Yeah. I'm the same. Yeah, I can't deal with writing paragraphs.
SPEAKER_02And then great line. Bernie says he needs a blindfold and ear tampons. Which I was like, oh no.
SPEAKER_01Ear tampons.
unknownAnyway.
SPEAKER_02From bad to worse, we finally get to meet Mrs. Doubtfire from the first three episodes of Dante. Who really cooked it with that little bit that he tried to do on the phone.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Sorry.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, agreed.
SPEAKER_02But here he is, he joins Peyton Jordan. And Peyton's like, I mean, he's cute. This was awkward. Because again, Jordan is competitive.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And all of a sudden he's interested in Peyton because there's someone else. Yeah, because there's someone else. And I'm like, fuck off, mate.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's yeah. Peyton, you deserve the world. You deserve the world, and it's not him.
SPEAKER_02But Dante in real life, when he's not on a phone pretending to be Mr. Stelfire, he's actually quite shy. Like he's like a timid guy.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02He seems kind of like a normal guy. And he's like asks the like what are the vibes like? And Peyton goes, Oh, look, we're just mates. Yeah, friends are and Jordan is such a psychopath, and he's like, Oh, back off. He's kind of like full into like back off mate vibes. And I'm like, what are you talking about? You're not into her. Yeah. It's yeah, I was I did a lot of screaming at the screen during this particular episode.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And it's just, yeah, I as I said, Peyton, you deserve the world. You're you're a sweetheart.
SPEAKER_02And he goes, Well, I'm just, you know, I'm just a competitive guy. I'm like, okay. Uh and yeah, awkward. Back to the M times 3 household. Uh new M is into it. So I'm like, okay. She hasn't done the Google yet.
SPEAKER_01No, she has not done the Google.
SPEAKER_02And she can also sense that there's no vibes between the other two M's. And yeah. It's kinda. This one I'm like, we can wrap this one up. Yeah, I agree. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01It's probably been the the triangle that I've been least interested in.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and because Mike, I think they really thought they were like casting gold. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_01They thought they were going to bring him in, it would be chaos, and it just it's it was chaos.
SPEAKER_02And I like some of the I like the watermelon crushing of it all. Yeah. And him just being such a dick. So awful. So passive aggressive. Like that was fun, but like I'm good. Yeah. Yeah. Back to the lesbian house and gr and this is our favourite house.
SPEAKER_01This is the best house. This is the best house.
SPEAKER_02It's so clear that like there's vibes all around and no one knows where to like focus their energy. Which is fun. And then this is awkward because they're all three of them are there. And Beck admits that Emma is like totally her type. And I'm like, ugh. And Chloe's even a bit like squeezie. I'm the I'm the single. You're suitors.
SPEAKER_01Do kind of get. Because if I was in her situation, I would feel exactly the same way.
SPEAKER_02A plus for like transparency. Transparency. If this was straight, it would all be happening behind closed doors. That's the thing.
SPEAKER_01Lesbians will tell you tell you what they're thinking. Absolutely. And they absolutely do in this situation. So as kind of uncomfortable as the situation is, at least they're being honest.
SPEAKER_02Ari and Nuri are the last couple to get triangled. Um I have such so we get a flashback to Sam. So, mate, what are you doing letting us down? Um ghosting Ari from the date. And here we go, he comes into the house. And this guy, I don't think I've ever seen anything like this on a reality show before.
SPEAKER_01And I've seen all of it you've seen all of it. And this I was actually like, I was shook at like Like, I'm wondering at the end of the day, if they like his contract was like, no, you have to do this, or we'll take you to court. Like, because I'm literally like, why? The thing I mean, it created a great moment, but it's like this guy, it was What was he doing? What was he doing?
SPEAKER_02Because that's the thing. It's like it was either put on and it was bad. So basically he like spits the dummy. He walks in, he walks in, he's like, I'm here. Why are you here?
SPEAKER_01You didn't want to be here.
SPEAKER_02And then she's like, okay, come in, I guess. And then she's like, What made you change your mind? What do you think was gonna happen that they were gonna be like, oh please, so great to see you took back up.
SPEAKER_01Oh, okay, cool. And then it's like, and then you know, he's like, Oh, haven't you ever been rejected before?
SPEAKER_02That's the problem. Haven't you been rejected before? Oh dude.
SPEAKER_01And it's yeah, I just don't understand. I mean, it's it's a great moment, but I'm like, I don't know what he was. I mean, that's why I must have.
SPEAKER_02I think he wanted to get his he hadn't got the mug on camera yet. That's the thing, it's gotta be that once he was the phone call before.
SPEAKER_01No, he was texting before. He barely texted her, remember? Yeah, and then didn't even rock up.
SPEAKER_02And she only picked him because he was older than Nuri. And God, wouldn't you be so happy that you picked Nuri? Fuck. Anyway, this guy's such a cunt. He and then he like gaslights her. He's like, Well, I got chosen second. And I'm like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. No, you didn't. You got chosen first, and then you bailed. Oh, so annoying.
SPEAKER_01And he sulks in a bedroom.
SPEAKER_02Mate, fuck off. But yeah, then he gets quite aggressive. Camera people make a run for it. It's great.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it was great, it was a great moment, but I'm like, the yeah, as you said, mug on TV, and he probably had a contractual obligation to do it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and then he's awkwardly waiting for his Diddy in the rain.
SPEAKER_01It will take you away from it will take you away from your first.
SPEAKER_02If it was Uber, you know, it would have been there by now. But Didi, you know, sometimes it's sometimes a lot, a couple of cancellations down the track. And at this point, I was like, I'm obsessed with this show.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's great. And I think that's the like that there hasn't been a moment like that in the last two seasons. Like I've already got a lot of time. Oh, really? That's crazy. It hasn't got like that was insane. Like that was literally two minutes. But yeah, it was really great.
SPEAKER_02Episode five is called Three Way. Uh, and we start where we left off at Arya and Nuri's flashback to Sam's arrogant walkout. She's like, What were you expecting? Well, that's the thing. What was like anyone expecting? And then we even get a producer there, like trying to convince him to stay.
SPEAKER_01So good. And he's under like somebody's car shelter.
SPEAKER_02Like he's just he's like, he takes the cake for yeah, most insane cunt I've ever seen.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it was crying. Yeah. So good. Bring him back for the next season.
SPEAKER_02And then to take our minds off it, we get more nude, new content. So I'm happy. They just chuck him in a bathtub. Yeah. And I was like, great.
SPEAKER_01Also love that they had like um conveniently placed, like, you know, they had to like convenient conveniently placed bubbles, fabulous work.
SPEAKER_02And what a you know, after an exciting day, yeah. Just hop in the bath.
SPEAKER_01Just hop in the bath, bubble bath.
SPEAKER_02Uh back at the lesbian house, and the drama continues. Chloe says the relationship between her and Beck is different now.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Well, no shit. You basically said, Oh, she's the toe.
SPEAKER_02Chloe lives for the drama. Let's be honest. Like, she's allegedly like was dumped like five minutes before coming on the show, and I'm like, You love this. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Uh Beck's like, um, I'd love to have a chat with Emma if that's alright. And Chloe's like, um, okay, well, I'm being cockblocked by my new girlfriend from my old girlfriend, and I was like, I love this. So good. So good. Uh Emma asks Chloe on a date, so that lightens the mood. So at least Emma's like, Well, I'll I'll hang out with the chick I'm supposed to be fucking first. And then if that doesn't work out, I will fuck the other chick. Yeah. Which boss move. Um, they go have a wine. I love that they're just day drinking at this point.
SPEAKER_01I know, yeah. Well, what else are they doing? They're not doing anything.
SPEAKER_02No, it's that, or they're just like going back to the FMP.
SPEAKER_01No activities. No.
SPEAKER_02Emma seems legit. Like at this date, I was like, yeah, you're cool. Um, they discussed wool and gong. I was like, oh, amazing.
SPEAKER_01Well, surely, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Like, oh yeah, wool and gong.
SPEAKER_01I like what I've set up. But you know.
SPEAKER_02And Emma's a homeowner, which Chloe is hard for. Yes.
SPEAKER_01All you've got to do is own property, and she will she will absolutely, yeah, absolutely. Same to be honest.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Um, Chloe's coming in hot. She says she feels fireworks between them. And I was like, settle the fuck down, Chloe. And Chloe wants to kiss, but says she can't because of Beck. But that doesn't stop Emma, who's like, nah, let's do it. The the sexual chemistry between these two was wild.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I was getting a little bit aroused watching it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, they're like, imagine this would be hot, hot sex. Or so hot. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02They go in for the make out. Um, Emma says, Look, I'm open to all possibilities. Right after the make out. But I still want to uh explore things with Beck, and I was like, Whoa. Yeah, to say that after the makeup, I was like, this bitch is like that is boss.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, she's yeah. Oh she's like staunch in charge.
SPEAKER_02This is what we've been fighting for, like equal rights. Yeah, exactly. If men can do this shit, like come on. Anyway, but Chloe was like, Oh, okay, but then she's also a little bit like game on malls, yeah, yeah, yeah. So I like seeing Chloe activated.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Uh over at the M house, Mike gets the new Melissa or whatever the fuck her name is, some active wear and a little vest, which I was like, okay, this is weird. Yeah, agree. I'm also backhanded because kind of like off you go work out. Yeah. I was like, someone bought me like active wear.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but oh, what are you saying? I just met. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Like, wow. Anyway, feels misogyno, but so does everything he does. Everything he does, yeah. But he yeah, has fans. Apparently, he's got fans over at Bernie and the girls. Jazz is like, um, I'm like a fun, floody kind of girl.
SPEAKER_01I love her.
SPEAKER_02She's so good. So she's like, let's go for a date. And Texas is not worried. She's kind of like, whatever. Um, she thinks she's like got it. Yeah, she thinks she's winning no matter what. Uh Bernie is getting off on the two fighting for his attention, even though he thinks they're both dogs. So I'm kind of like, What are you doing here, Bernie? On the date, Jazz won't stop talking about herself a million miles a second, and I love it.
SPEAKER_01It was great. He couldn't get a word in edgeways. It was fantastic.
SPEAKER_02Well, he's got nothing to say.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, well, that has, yeah, exactly. Exactly.
SPEAKER_02And the edit trolls her, they kind of do that.
SPEAKER_01It was really good editing because it was literally just like they'd show him and she just keep talking and talking and talking and talking and talking. It was fantastic.
SPEAKER_02I would have loved some daywines with um. I'd go on a date. I'd go on a date with her. Fabulous. He's being a pretentious dick though, and he can't even like disguise it. He's kind of very happy letting her know that he's too cool for her. Yeah. And she's like, I think it went really well. I know that I on when she said that, I was like, no, Jazz. No, no. He was like, I wanted to kill myself.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, she hasn't even like looked at it. Like, how can you not be sitting opposite him and not realise that this was a dud date?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and then cut to her going, the date went well. I was like, ah, girl Peyton is spending the day with Dante. Uh which man baby Jordan is just hanging out on the couch, which I was like, he is loving the show. He's like getting paid to just like masturbate on the couch all day. Which like seems like his natural habitat.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And it's what becomes a natural habitat for everyone on this show, because that's all they do is sit on the couch. When the other one act surprised when somebody comes and knocks on the door.
SPEAKER_02You'd be so happy when you're not going on the date because they're great. I get the whole airband myself. Can chat to the producers, maybe invite them into my room. Yeah. Yeah. This man is a slob. Uh, but all of a sudden he's into Peyton now and jealous of their date. Which I was like, dude.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So you've literally called her a dog, and now you're on the date.
SPEAKER_02Dante says he wishes he came in first. And the chat I don't know. The chat I was like, Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And also, like, they were like, Oh, this is a cool venue. I'm like, it didn't really look very cool to me. I was like, it was like, what where were they?
SPEAKER_02No, he's very clear that he's attracted to her, which is like nice and everything, but I've just still got Mrs. Doubtfire, like PTSD. I feel like he's there's some sinister shit going on. Yeah. Underneath that.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah, I get it, I get exactly what you mean. I just don't feel yeah. So at least with Jordan, you know exactly what you're getting up front. With this guy, I don't think you do. Absolutely. Absolutely not. You just yeah, there's yeah, you just there's something you're not to be trusted.
SPEAKER_02In an unprecedented move, Beck and Emma go on their date.
SPEAKER_01Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_02Which I love that they get lawn bowls.
SPEAKER_01So pouring rain. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Closest thing we get to an activity. Yeah. At this point, I'm like, yeah. The head producers clearly didn't realise how masked this girl is. And uh yeah, they should probably should have made like Emma the like single.
SPEAKER_01I actually think that, yeah, that would have been really great.
SPEAKER_02But I think they didn't, yeah. I think in their mind they're like, oh, people are into like femme chicks, yeah. I'm like, no, no, you'd be surprised. Their date is actually quite cute though. Uh more sexual tension. I would watch a whole show of just lesbian first dates. Yeah, it's good that don't go anywhere, but like they're fall in love in the first date. I would watch that show. Yeah, same. I kissed a girl was close to that, but so good.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um then we get cut to Chloe back at the Airbnb spiraling, telling us about her abandonment issues after being done. So literally like three months before the show or something. Come on. Anyway, back on the date, Beck says she's into Emma. And Emma is like so smooth, she's like, Well, you can kiss me whenever you want, babe. I was like, fuck, she's hot. She's so hot. We're gonna go at your pace. Yeah. So I don't think we you're quite ready to do that, but when you're ready, I'm here to smash.
SPEAKER_01And wouldn't you smash? I just thought it was smooth.
SPEAKER_02I thought it was actually quite smooth. Yeah. It's like giving you the green light, but also like respecting your boundaries, babe. Yeah. Mike and Melinda um having cute silly banter in a supermarket, and it's cringe. Yep. In all caps.
SPEAKER_01Can't even remember this moment, so that's how much I care. It was bad. Yep.
SPEAKER_02Uh and then it's time for the tr first triangle party. So I was uninitiated, and I'm like, okay, so they're just doing the same thing they did last time. The like dinner party. Yes. But now everyone's there. But now everyone's there. Um at the party. Peyton and her two clowns rock up first. Jordan counts the placements on the table and he's like, oh, it's an odd number. Someone's bailed, kind of thing. Bernie and the girls rock up next, and the M's come, but it's just two of them. So he tells the story about Melinda leaving. But it's all his side of the story, which of course is like is designed to make him sound okay. Nuri and Ari um have also lost one. And they tell their story, and everyone's like, okay, so there's some fun stories going on. And the others are a bit like, well, you guys have an advantage now. Which I can't like, what do you think about that? Like, I kind of agree, but I'm also like, it doesn't mean that they're gonna get on. Well, no, it doesn't, does it?
SPEAKER_01No, not at all.
SPEAKER_02And if anything, the competitiveness is like keeping the other ones alive.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, absolutely. I think Yeah, I'll be interested as we go along whether the couples that ended up like, you know, never had a triangle, yeah. How they've ended up as opposed to the couples that did have a triangle. Yeah. Yeah, because it's almost like there it wasn't it wasn't actually the show. Like they weren't actually taking part in the experiment because they didn't get the chance to. It was literally like, all right, this is the match, will it work or will it will it won't it? And it's like, well, that's just like a dating show.
SPEAKER_02Exactly. Yeah. Mike isn't done being a terrorist, he's already made one woman leave the show, and now he's like, he calls Chloe irritating after she calls out his shit attitude about said woman that left. And then the whole group is a bit like mate, not the ego. So I did like I did enjoy watching him get schooled by everyone. Yeah, because he's a absolute dick. Yeah. Um yeah, then all of a sudden Captain Starlight is like looking quite attractive to Peyton. And I was like, this poor doomed woman.
SPEAKER_01Peyton, you beautiful girl.
SPEAKER_02Because Mrs. Doubtfire is actually a demon.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you don't trust him at all. No, I mean Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I don't know. I I feel like what do you think about Dante? Well, I just think she's gotten two duds. She has. She really has. There's been no Yeah. He puts his foot in there, he says, Maybe I should have been in a different triangle. I should send Peyton off.
SPEAKER_01But that that proves to me it's like, yeah, he cause he came on so hot and heavy, and now he's like, you know, fucking with her hair.
SPEAKER_02Then he like cries to production, and I was like, oh no, mate. You just got here. What are you doing?
SPEAKER_01And it's like in the span of a day, you've been like, I really like you, I'm really feeling too fast. Yeah, too fast, and she's you know confronted by that, and she's like, I think this is just a too intense. Yeah, and then because he's not, you know, he's not getting exactly what he wants in the the dinner party, yeah, absolutely just throws it in her face. It was no, I thought that was really a dog move.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Then we get Bernie having tunnel vision on Chloe, which like this is great, and he's like, their triangle's a shit show. Um, and Chloe says, If there's doubt, what did she say? If there is doubt, there is no doubt.
SPEAKER_01Which I was like, That's right, yes. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_02What is this? Like, what uh t-shirt did you read this on? Yeah, like I hate this.
SPEAKER_01If there is doubt, there is no doubt.
SPEAKER_02What she's trying to say, like you either know or you know, but it's it's anyway. She's flirting with him.
SPEAKER_01Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_02So yeah, I don't know. Then a letter gets written. Dun dun dun dun. So Bernie's in bed writing a little letter to Chloe. Probably the first letter he's ever written in his life. And episode six is called The Letter.
SPEAKER_01The Letter.
SPEAKER_02Uh we start at the lesbian house with said letter, and she's still talking about no doubt. And I'm like, okay, Gwen Stefani.
SPEAKER_01No doubt.
SPEAKER_02Chill out. Uh these women need to chill. Emma regrets trying to pursue Beck and wants to prove to Chloe that she's hyper. I cannot keep up with these lesbians, I swear. I was like, what is going on? Um, yeah, this is gonna be good. Chloe's still rubbing one out to the letter while this is all going on. Um, and they go on like a restart date. Uh, Emma and Chloe. Yes. That is. Which Chloe's happy about. And then on that date, Emma tells Chloe.
SPEAKER_01They love a picnic in this show, don't they? They love a picnic. It's a D. We're on a D D budget. Yeah, exactly. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um, she says, I'm not gonna pursue back anymore. I've only got I've got eyes for you, girl. Which I was like, fuck, she's so smooth. Every man should take dating advice from Emma.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, she should be a coach. She should be. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um then they speak of green flags. And I was like, no, no, this is great. If it becomes straight, green flags. Oh, I mean, at least it's they're not yellow. Yeah. That's all I'll say.
SPEAKER_01Not yet.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. I don't know. They need to get like the hanky code.
SPEAKER_01I know. Can we bring the hanky code into it?
SPEAKER_02Sophistication in here. Like who's shitting on whose left elbow?
SPEAKER_01Exactly.
SPEAKER_02I need to know. Uh, classic Chloe, she's like, uh, but I'm always gonna feel like I'm her second choice. And I'm like, you are so fucking needy. Oh my god. It's like what more do you anyway? I actually can't wait.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. I think, and also because it's like, well, also, you've gotten this letter behind the scenes and are like going, oh. Yeah. And it's like they don't know about that. So it's like everyone's just Did she not disclose? Is it secret at this point? No, she hasn't disclosed at all.
SPEAKER_02What a naughty girl. Everyone's been so transparent in that household. I think she's not. Oh, yeah, of course she hasn't, because they're gonna reveal it later. I think.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. No, because she was just in her bedroom reading a letter like she was, you know, uh a housewife in you know the civil war, reading a letter from a love, you know, long-lost boyfriend.
SPEAKER_02They'll crack it open when Chriselle arrives.
SPEAKER_01Oh yeah, will they ever?
SPEAKER_02Over at Peyton's clown house, um, Dante's got his tail between his legs because he fucked up. Um and Jordan's just kind of like, yeah, living. He's making effort for once. Awkward. Um, yeah. And then she suss on him. Yeah, finally Peyton gives us because every time this household comes up, I'm looking at her and I'm like, run. Yeah, run, run, run, run, run. And every now and then she's like, I think I should run. And I'm like, yes.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, absolutely. They're both completely beneath you.
SPEAKER_02Ari and Peyton um have a little girls chat. They do. This was cute. Does this normally happen on this show? Okay, cute.
SPEAKER_01So they have their little uh it's always at the dinner parties and they'll they'll like break off or I yeah, they I think it's uh that's one of the things I do I have liked about it is they get to like um it's always it's always been like the um the single and the other ends of the time like separate. They have their kind of like, you know, but yeah, it's always been a cute little thing that they have. They don't really get to know each other. Sure. But they yeah, they have their yeah.
SPEAKER_02Because Ari Ari has advice for Pat, and she's like, don't rule out Tante just yet. And then before they have a chance to chat anymore, her D D has arrived. Yep. And uh she hops in and has a fabulous DD journey. Sorry, I got I giggled so hard for this.
SPEAKER_01Didi should send a t-shirt for this, I think. We're giving them a lot of things. We are I wear a DD t-shirt. I mean, people are wearing LD sweatshirts, so Mike, uh whatever.
SPEAKER_02He's just doing the same shit.
SPEAKER_01It's really fascinating. Every time you bring this up, it's almost like I completely You're not even paying attention.
SPEAKER_02Oh see, I'm enjoying the mic scenes, but he is just gaslighting a new victim. Yeah, that's the thing. And we just saw him do it, so I'm like, I don't we know.
SPEAKER_01Because she hasn't Googled him. I know she's going along with it kind of.
SPEAKER_02He's incapable of learning. Um, and I think she realizes so she's actually starting to clock on now, which is good. Because there's yeah, what are they fight about? No, see, exactly. I'm sensing a patronizing tone here. That's yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And I was like, this guy sucks.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, he's just the worst. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um, yeah, Ari and Nuri have an ice cream on the beach. They talk about long distance.
SPEAKER_01I know, because where where are they again?
SPEAKER_02I don't fucking know. Uh neither Sydney and Perth or something.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, probably.
SPEAKER_02But again, she needs to chill. She's like, she wants to leave with like she wants to leave pregnant. Oh, absolutely. He's like 26. And like and looks like that.
SPEAKER_01But also, can you blame her? Oh, I mean, yeah, I would climb it.
SPEAKER_02Uh Beck takes Chloe on a date. She says that um she's not into Emma anymore.
SPEAKER_01Can I just say never have I once believed like there was any chemistry between um Beck and Chloe?
SPEAKER_02No, neither. There wasn't from the start. They had their little pajama thing. They tried hard. And then when when Emma came in, I was like, This is real chemistry. That's chemistry.
SPEAKER_01But the two of them, and that's why I found that, you know. The episodes uh two episodes prior with the her reading the chat GPT letter that she'd wrote.
SPEAKER_02But is this do they know about the letter now? I feel like they do. I feel like Beck knows about the letter at this point.
SPEAKER_01I don't think we've had a reveal of all no, because we're waiting for Chriselle.
SPEAKER_02Okay. Yeah, because I think I wasn't sure if the letter has been.
SPEAKER_01No, I don't think we've had any disclosure of I think as we get through later in the episode, they okay, right. But it hasn't been an explicit reveal. I don't think there has been an explicit reveal. They're holding it out on this.
SPEAKER_02Bernie couldn't care less about either of the girls he's been paired with. Yeah. Um, and also this was one of those, yeah, they're just hanging out in the house. They're just hanging out in the house. And they all get a text about the final party. Which I was like, final party already? But great, love it. Yeah, wrap this shit up. Uh and Jordan tells Peyton, Congratulations, you're out of the friend zone. Okay, mate. Oh the timing.
SPEAKER_01And like Peyton, I'm just like, I really wish she just run.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Also, Mike says claims he's reflected on his behaviour. Yep. I'm like, sure.
SPEAKER_01Sure, babe.
SPEAKER_02Great story. Um yeah. And then this whole bit, he's like, I've hurt people. I've actually, do you know what? I've realized that I've hurt people and I hurt her. I'm actually not a good person. When he went on, I know I'm not a good person.
SPEAKER_01I'm not a good person. Oh and I'm also like, yes.
SPEAKER_02I was watching and I was like, all of this is correct. What the fuck are you gonna do about it, mate?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, yeah. Where are you like accountability? Where is it?
SPEAKER_02It's scary. There's nothing scarier than yeah, a toxic person that's like learnt some therapy speak. Yeah, and then they can just kind of like regret to do it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, because obviously after maths, he's like absolutely gone to a therapist, and it's like this is his yeah, it was actually sad.
SPEAKER_02He's like, This happens to me all the time, and this doesn't happen to good people, so I must be a bad person. I was like, Oh my god. Yeah, fucking hell. And that's how that episode ends.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, what's what's your predictions?
SPEAKER_02I mean, I don't know. I'm excited. I'm I honestly think in the few interactions that Chloe and Bernie have had together, I think they're perfect for each other. Yeah, yeah. They're both like TikTok fucking. Absolutely, they're very on the same way of it. I feel like they're gonna end up together. And I yeah, and I yeah, I don't know if Beck and Emma will then, but I would like to see that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Maybe in the real world, I don't think it'll happen in the context of the show, but like Ari's getting heartbroken because she thinks that this is going somewhere, and let's be honest, Nuri just wants to furk.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um, yeah, I don't know. And then Dante and Jordan both need psychological evaluation.
SPEAKER_01Yep.
SPEAKER_02And hopefully Peyton just ends up Yeah, getting uh some exposure.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I think she could have a very um like she could have a life outside of this um thing. I think there's something really interesting about her. On another show. On another show.
SPEAKER_02Make her the batchy.
SPEAKER_01Oh, could you do that? She'd be great. She would be.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but she's just she's a real girl, you know, like she's a real person. She's really, you know, you're gonna be able to do that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, which is why they gave her two psychopaths.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And but she's hand I I think for the most part she's handling herself really well with it.
SPEAKER_02And then Bernie, yeah, Bernie's gonna absolutely up and leave both of those girlies. Oh god, yeah. Yeah, in like two seconds time.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And I yeah, and it's like I feel like he is what um Mike has going went through in maths. This is what Bernie's going through on this. Totally. And like, good, deserved. Not interesting enough. I can't wait.
SPEAKER_02I'm I can't believe there's only one more episode left, and then this reunion which we've been promised is gonna be amazing.
SPEAKER_01And I'm also just like wondering, like, when we do get that reunion, has Christelle been watching the show? Like, no, of course she hasn't. Like she got adopted, oh so she's she got there 20 minutes before filming starts. Yeah, and then she's like with G.
SPEAKER_02And they were like, G was like, I'm not fucking watching this show. No, I'm not fucking watching this show. Maybe Emma ends up with uh Chriselle.
SPEAKER_01Oh, could you imagine? Yeah, maybe, yeah. Three of them G, her, and um Chriselle.
SPEAKER_02Maybe Jojo Siwa can uh fly in that do we have an update on that by the way, Jojo?
SPEAKER_01Do we know anything more?
SPEAKER_02I think she's disappeared, yeah. And fair enough. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Doing a little bit of a do we think her and Chris are an item?
SPEAKER_00No.
SPEAKER_02No, you don't think so, yep. I think Chris was using her for the followers, and yeah, yeah, yeah. I think he got what he came for. And I think she's just an impressionable young teen.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's the thing we forget, she's still a baby. Yeah. And has grown up completely in the spotlight, and I just don't think it's you know.
SPEAKER_02I think Kath has chilled out on socials. Yeah, yeah, yeah. She had her 15 minutes.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I'm sure she's she got a trip to London.
SPEAKER_02Maybe Kath and Emma would be a good one.
SPEAKER_01There you go.
SPEAKER_02Matchmaking. Or Kath and Beck. I don't know. I would love to see that universe expand.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Lesbian Love Triangle season one.
