Okay, so um, I don't know how much detail you want me to go into, but I like I was I contacted every single person I knew in the Survivor Verse, whether it was in Australia or overseas to get a ticket to go. Um, anyway, I um I soft talked a beautiful production assistant on the day, and yeah, he was like, I'll get you in, don't you worry. It like secretly got secretly gave me my name, and then it also helps like I'm really good friends with Jam Jam.

I did have a great time, but you know, the whole like that obviously being there in the finale, that experience is just like I just was electric and alive. I was fizzling, I was just in my peak element. It was so much fun and watching everybody and listening, and just I don't know, I was it was absolutely insane. Um, the night before I got to um I had dinner with Jam and then uh Leo from Survivor uh Brazil also came and met. He was happened to be in LA as well. We all went out together. We went to a saloon bar that was just across the road, and there's Charlie and Tiff and Ozzy and Q and Camilla and on and on both.

Well, in in at that moment, I said to the person sitting next to me, Oh my god, is this a stunt or is this real? Like, is he really fucked this or is there something, is there like something crazy happening? And of course, it was it he totally fucked it. Um, and I listened to quite a few podcasts about how that happened and how he could, you know, it would have been very difficult for him to be responsible because he's out the back preparing himself for the next segment.

I met, you know, I met Colby, I I I met uh Angelina, I met you name it, or everybody that was at that, um Christian, uh Devons, everybody that was at that um at that after party I met. Um interestingly enough, Jonathan wasn't there.

I think you've you know, and I'm a perfect example of that. You've gotta lose with grace, like that's the only way to do it. You've got to lose as um like you've gotta be you've gotta be a good person, and I I just don't think there's any other way to do it. Well, yeah, you don't want to burn bridges in this uh fraught time because yeah, but that's also I think it's very telling of the type of person that you are because at the end of the day, it is a TV show, it is a game, and yes, it's for a fuckload of money, fucking hell, but it's also there's gotta be one winner, and you know, that is uh the their they've got their own minds about and they've got to make their own decisions, and I don't hold that up against anybody, you know.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I couldn't agree more. Um, I I got my husband watching it yesterday. He's like, what is this shit? Like, and I was like a UA, and he's like, I'm I mean, it was interesting, he hasn't watched any of it, and he just kind of watched a bit of um Ep5 and all of Ep6. Um, but I am absolutely loving it. I think these characters, these women, I mean, I I don't know anything about OnlyFans. I've never investigated it, I've never um logged on myself, but I am fascinated. Like I'm super interested about how they get about in, you know, how they get into this business, why they're there, where do they hope it takes them? Yeah. I it's fascinating. It's so it's fascinating, and I am all about you know, learning as much as I possibly can about what the next person is doing, and yeah, it's really really interesting to me.

Is it I I was deep diving before on the production company that made this because I always love a new format and I always get excited about it, especially like a new Australian format. It's like wow, someone's really taken a risk doing this because you know there's only so much in our industry, and they they've had their mitts on all kinds of stuff, maps. Um, they were even involved with Delta's Eurovision entry this year, I saw, which I was shocked by, but okay. And they made a little show called Byron Bays.

Yeah, it was full rage though, because they got the worst possible people, and none of the people were actually from Byron, they're all Gold Coast influencers that just popped down for the weekend, and we love that. Um, but yeah, they're on to something though. This I I I firmly believe that yeah, the GC is the perfect backdrop for Australian reality TV because it's people that want to be on TV, they're not afraid to get messy as we see this week.

Um and look, it's yeah, it's the perfect playground for the rich and well, we we spent a year on the Gold Coast last year while we were doing some stuff to our house, and honestly, like it is a whole different planet. Honestly, it I think Queensland. Sorry, it's all Queensland, but it is but the GC is uh it's a whole different planet, and we like we joined a gym there, we joined um one of the big Oh my god, it was insane. Like, that was the best people watching shit that you've ever come across. I could just sit in the middle of the gym and just watch everybody the way that oh my god, it was so yeah, yeah, uh it's amazing big butts and sexy bodies, and it was yeah, and they're all meter maids and training. They're all looking at themselves. That's all they care about is where's the mirror and where's the camera? And in fact, there were like signs up everywhere. No filming allowed, no filming allowed, no filming allowed. But they're never up doing it anyway. I didn't see too much of it, thank god, but it was it was pretty it was pretty interesting to watch.

Well, I I think it was for carrying the pregnancy and going everything, and you know what? I'm like, is fucking hard, and it is really draining on your body. And like I remember when I was becoming a midwife and uh hearing that it took five years for a woman's body to fully recover from a single birth. So like even though she didn't give birth vaginally, uh it doesn't matter.

I don't think I could tell. Maybe it's the Botox or something, but I'm not sure if we're getting the real Quinn or not. But I think she's perfectly cast for the show.

There is no question about that. Like, she is absolutely perfectly cast, but just I would love to know what her what she actually does for these people, like what she does for these women. How does she make her cash? Because clearly she's taking a clip of the ticket, yeah. But and she need she seems to be taking a significant clip of the ticket because obviously she's got, and these aren't just her girls, obviously, she must have so many to live, to live as and for her husband to leave his GP business and to solely concentrate on what they're doing.

So they they meet up with Ruby for this sort of intervention. Haley's there just. It's very survivor-coded. She's she's after loyal allies.

And you gotta feel sorry for Ruby, don't you? Like, uh, I I think she is trying to be that calm person in between both set the between the stunt girls and the non-stunt girls. And and sh, I mean, I think like you've already spoken about before, she has more in common with um with some of those stunt girls because she's um she's worked as a as a stripper before. But I um yeah, and I think she's just like her personality to me is she does see the good in other people, whereas Chloe's like, no, you're either a friend to me. Yeah, you either are loyal to me or you're loyal to nobody.

So, you know, I think Ruby just genuinely, like Chloe and Haley and stuff, didn't really understand the stunt girls, you know, had read all the noise from the media and stuff, had already decided and pre-judged that what they're doing is wrong and and damaging to other women in the business. But then she spent some time with them and realized they've got more in common than she thought.

And just to So hard on herself. Anyway I yeah, I'm not quite sure what to think about Ruby in this situation.

Getting a rough time on this show. Like, I mean, firstly, last week those editors were trolling her product launch so hard, and I thought it was like totally fine. And then now it's like she gets told off by Quinn, and now she's getting told off again by Chloe. I'm a bit like, can we leave Ruby alone here? Like your issue is with the stunt girls, like just that's where it should end. Yeah, go and start out with them.

I I almost said I said to my I turned around to said to my husband, can I fast forward through this shit? Honestly, because I just thought I'm gonna be able to do that. The twin scenes are rough, they're so rough and they're so cringe, it's like scratching your fucking hands, your fingers down a blackboard. Honestly, it really drives me crazy, but then it's also fucking great TV, isn't it? So it's all a balance, isn't it?

Well, they're not very good at getting screen time. Like the last few episodes they've barely been present, and then now I feel like they're pushing them like, all right, you guys have to have an event, like get involved with drama.

And yes, we like, yeah, it's a bit cringe for me, but I can see where the I can see where the benefits lie having them there.

And I was like, of course they're there. And did you notice they had the same squeaky hoop from last week?
