Web3 is the magical term and no one knows what that means. Neither do I. Hello friends, I'm Pete, also known as Bright Future Guy, and this is Web3Magic Podcast. I use Web3 in the meaning of the next generation of internet. There is blockchain based and AI ready. And yes, you've guessed it, I'm technology optimist. So I believe blockchain tech came just in time, because we will eventually have to sign everything to prove they were created by humans. Now that's a discussion I will probably have on the podcast.
BFG (aka Pete):On this podcast, I interview founders and builders of projects that are bringing something novel to the world through blockchain technology Something novel, right, so it's not just about coins, something which wasn't possible before. I talk with builders aiming to transform different industries, from finance to communication, travel, music, community building, social media, and you name it. I pick projects with real-life use cases which I admire, and some novel utilities like streaming money every second. Who wouldn't like that? Making multi-chain operations secure and invisible I love it. Securing your identity and data for everyday use with their own knowledge proofs, or just getting rid of financial intermediaries, or seeing how the new modular and fungible token standards allow for collaboration and expansion in truly open ways.
BFG (aka Pete):I want you to hear not only about the technology, but also about the stories of builders behind the projects, because that's where the magic is usually hidden why and how they started down this uncertain path. Let me assure you this is uncertain. When did they discover the power of blockchain technology? How did they fell in love with programmable money, programmable companies? Why do they believe in open source code and community? And many more questions. We mostly talk in user-friendly language, so no prior technical blockchain, crypto or NFT experience is necessary for understanding the underlying concepts and the builders' journey, and that's the key this is supposed to be for everybody. I want you to understand that blockchain is not just scams and lost money and drugs, but that it's actually novel technology which may help us to tame the AI.
