Stephen talks with Adam Hatch, Carly Connor, Ria Al-Ameen, and Rashmi Sirkar about CAHP’s exciting launch of the report Unlocking the Value of Existing Buildings: A New Approach to Codes for Carbon, Culture, and Cost. The project was funded through Natural Resources Canada’s (NRCan) Codes Acceleration Fund (CAF) and prepared by a multidisciplinary team of consultants.
Carly is a professional engineer based in Hamilton, and Adam is a registered architect and heritage consultant practicing in Vancouver. Ria is an associate at Giaimo Architects, and Rashmi is a partner at Ha/f Climate Design.

The Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals (CAHP) is a national membership-based organization that serves qualified heritage professionals in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. CAHP establishes standards of practice, shares knowledge about heritage conservation, and supports the involvement of heritage professionals whenever places of heritage value are being identified, preserved, restored and rehabilitated.
